Oud Noir Vodka

This smells so good and masculine. I can't really say it smells like anything I've had or tested before. But I would compare the vibe to dolce and gabbana the one edp. Except this is vastly superior in terms of performance. Projects like crazy and it lasts 7+ hours. So be mindful of the sprays I saw this on Rai Phalail's website for $150 but I got it at a mall in Miami for $70. So getting it in person rather than online is the move. Overall rating 9.1/10 Note- I know I said this gives me the one edp vibes, but this is NOT a clone.

This is a real hidden gem. Smells like rich fruits and an earthy oud mixed with a soft and nutty vanilla. Truly a masterpiece.

Those who know me are well aware that I’m not a fan of Erba Pura by Xerjoff or its inspirations — I’m talking about Amber Oud Gold by Al Haramain, King by Bharara, Game of Spades King by Jo Milano, and the like. I find them rustic, suffocating and overwhelming. Sorry if that offends anyone, but that’s just how I feel. That said... I have some good news for fans of those fragrances. It’s called Oud Noir Vodka by Rai Phalail, and it goes exactly in that same direction — with one key difference: even though it’s priced a bit higher, this one feels much more wearable and of incredibly high quality. It’s fruity. The combination of apple and woods is really well done. And the Russian vodka from the name? Don’t take it too literally — it does have that boozy quality, but to me it’s more reminiscent of agave, the plant that tequila comes from. It has vanilla and praline, but it doesn’t feel gourmand or dessert-like at all. It’s more like a syrup version of both notes — present, but never cloying. It’s unisex, powerful and a great option for the coldest nights of the year. Rate: 8/10
