Polo 67 Eau de Parfum

This is so good. I already loved the EDT which I have a decant of, so picking up EDP from Joma was a no-brainer. The opening gives that sweet dole pineapple juice feeling along with the spicy cardamom burst of bergamot and mandarin; I think I actually get some of the benzoin in the open too because there's a vanilla note that pops in briefly and then backs out. Also, If you've tried Artisan Dixit Amber Eternal there's a fizziness to that -- I get that here as well from the cardamom, an effervescent feeling. Moving into the middle I'm starting to see some bigger differences from the EDT (in addition to less in your face pineapple) because it starts to feel more mature, transitioning into an herbal lavender / sage / cypress combination, which provides an aromatic lift to the pineapple which hasn't gone away -- the EDT also has sage but didn't have the lavender and cypress, instead using juniper which made it feel lighter. The base makes this fragrance an absolute winner and sets it apart fully from the EDT; it's warm from the benzoin (and possibly other unlisted amber), projecting a creaminess onto the pineapple, which is now supported by sturdy cedarwood and vetiver. The EDT and EDP are definitely similar and overlap a lot, but I could see myself reaching for the EDP more in Fall/Spring and then EDT in Summer. I've only done the EDP Extreme in a single hand test, but with the leather inclusion and even deeper woods that might allow for better Winter use.

I really love the lavender and pineapple in the opening, it's a nice citrusy fresh scent. Nothing over the top, nothing that will blow your mind, but definitely up to the task of drawing compliments and a no-brainer for an all-season daily fragrance. If you're looking for something to stand out this is not your best choice (I'd go with Spicebomb Metallic Musk instead if I wanted a more distinctive fresh fragrance), but sits well in the YSL Myslf - Dior Sauvage - Acqua di Gió line of fresh scents and it's easy to wear. I really enjoy wearing this even in colder weather months when I don't necessarily wanna go for the heavier hitters I like to sport. I found it performing good on my skin, a good arms reach sillage for 3-4 hours and then it becomes more of a skin scent, but for me it's easily within the 8-10 hour range in terms of longevity. You can find quite good deals on it at discounters so the value for price is really good.

Absolutely a fantastic fragrance, smells similar to Versace Dylan Blue (my favorite cologne) On a scale of 1/10, Polo 67 smells 6/10 similar to Dylan Blue. They both share that deep bergamot citrus scent, but I think 67 does it better. Basically, 67 is a more citrus-fruity focused fragrance, with less spice. Don't get me wrong, it still has that spicy wood scent that Dylan Blue carries, just less intense. Tbh, I enjoy this cologne better than Dylan Blue, sometimes DB can be a bit too harsh with the spice, but 67 blends it with the citrus wayyy better. Not only that but 67 actually lasts more than 3.5 hours. Probably my new favorite cologne, the bergamot is just more present, the spice doesn't overpower the citrus like in DB. Scent: 11/10 :) Bottle Design: 5/10 Sillage: 6/10 Longevity: 7/10 New favorite summer/fall cologne, 10/10 would recommend.

Ralph Lauren has been killing it, this stuff is very modern but also nostalgic at the same time. I think it's in the same kind of family of blue fragrances as the Y-line. Sweet, fresh and versatile. It behaves very differently on paper from skin though. On paper you get the pineapple immediately, but on skin it's non-linear, first there's a big wop of aromatic sweetness and citrus, and then a sort of dole pineapple juice kind of pineapple creeps out. It doesn't get full tropical style, but it's a very candy-esque pineapple, but still great. Drydown is typical modern man with ambroxan and woodiness, it's good but not something that's special. However, the top and the mid are delicious. Excited for the Extreme version now, if they really amp up the pineapple there. Performance above average, 7 hours or so, projection and sillage is standard.

This is a gorgeous fragrance. I owned the EDT first, and loved it. I thought it might be redundant to own both, but I got the EDP for Christmas (yes, I asked for it lol) and I'm glad I did. It's just different enough, at least in the opening, to make it worth having both (at least if one is free - if not, maybe not - individual call). Clean, modern, appealing scent with very good longevity, and my wife loves it. It's sweet, but not too sweet to be cloying, fruity, woody, creamy, and has a very nice drydown. Very versatile scent. I'm one of those weird fragrance people that loves mass-appealing, easy reach scents, a lot. And this is definitely one.
