The Most All-Rounder Fragrance Women Can’t Possibly Hate – Ralph Lauren POLO 67 This is Indonesian POV Review. With the flood of Middle Eastern fragrances entering the Indonesian market, we’ve become a bit out of touch with what’s happening in the world of designer fragrances. In fact, many people don’t even realize that some designer scents have dropped in price quite significantly. I was shocked to find this one online for just IDR 650K, especially since just a few months ago it was selling for around IDR 900K. I didn’t hesitate—straight to cart! I’ve been looking for a "dumb reach" scent—something I can just grab and wear anytime without overthinking. The ones I had like Polo Red and Kenzo Aqua are almost empty. I first stumbled upon this fragrance at a mall in Jakarta. I wasn’t even planning to stop by the Ralph Lauren counter, but my eyes locked onto this bottle—its design looked so cool, with a retro vibe wrapped in a modern look. I stopped by and asked the BA to let me sniff it. Wow... I instantly loved the scent. But as we all know, retail counters are significantly more expensive than discounters, so I decided to wait until I saw it online. Ralph Lauren Polo 67 Back in the 90s, before Bleu de Chanel came around, the throne for the "King of Blue Fragrances" belonged to Polo Sport. At the time, Blue Fragrances were synonymous with a chill, easygoing, fun vibe—which is why they were the go-to scent for Boomers back when they went out for afternoon strolls or danced at discotheques. When Bleu de Chanel came along, it changed the game. The “blue vibe” evolved into something cooler, calmer, and more professional—ideal for pilots, doctors, and office professionals. Now, Polo 67 feels like a nostalgic return to those original Blue Fragrance roots, but with a fresher, more modern approach. The number '67' refers to the year Ralph Lauren was founded. This scent is an homage to the brand’s journey and success. You’ll notice traces of Polo Green, Polo Sport, Polo Red, and Polo Blue all subtly embedded in Polo 67. Some are more dominant, while others linger quietly in the background. PRESENTATION In my opinion, this is the best-looking Polo bottle so far. It carries the familiar Polo bottle shape but with stylish retro-futuristic elements. The white stripe separating the bottle from the cap, the vintage 60s-style font, and the dark blue glass all come together beautifully. Even the white sprayer under the cap looks sleek. It's a solid 10/10 in presentation. SCENT Official notes from Ralph Lauren’s website: Vetiver, Pineapple, Bergamot Fragrantica note breakdown: Top: Pineapple, Bergamot, Lemon Mid: Sage, Juniper, Rose Hip Base: Vetiver, Patchouli, Goldenrod (Floral) It opens with a burst of citrus—mainly bergamot and pineapple—but to my nose, it leans more toward a musky-aquatic scent, like many modern Blue fragrances including Polo Blue EDP. Soon after, the heart brings in a fruity-berry twist with hints of sage, reminiscent of Polo Red. This combo is absolute magic—it’s like a pheromone bomb that women love. It smells great and is incredibly mass-appealing. As the scent develops, you get subtle floral and woody undertones, making it slightly resemble the trending YSL MYSLF. I tested them side by side and can confirm the resemblance. But Polo 67 stands apart with vetiver and a hint of moss in the background, giving it a slightly more masculine edge. And since this is a designer scent, it’s safe from any controversial notes like overbearing amber, stale aquatics, or smoky incense commonly found in Middle Eastern perfumes. This fragrance nails the core of what Blue scents used to be—fresh, bright, clean, chill, and friendly. It brings a warm and approachable vibe, as opposed to the cooler and more introverted feel of BDC. Sure, it might smell a bit generic and synthetic, but it’s absolutely pleasant and a total crowd-pleaser. Every woman I’ve let smell it has said they loved it. In fact, one friend even asked what I was wearing so she could buy it for her partner. That’s the magic of Ralph Lauren—especially in their Polo Red series and now Polo 67. Their DNA might not be unique, but it’s universally loved. SPL – Sillage, Projection, Longevity Sillage: Good Projection: Good Longevity: Around 5–6 hours Even though Polo 67 is an EDT, it punches above its weight. The longevity is solid for a fresh scent—5 to 6 hours max—but the first 1 to 2 hours deliver strong projection and noticeable sillage. People around you will definitely notice from about 1–1.5 meters away. I’m personally satisfied, especially since it outperforms my Polo Red, which has weaker projection. VERSATILITY This fragrance is as versatile as it gets: day or night, rain or shine, summer or winter. The fruity-fresh opening makes it great for daytime, but the sweet and woody vetiver base helps it hold up in the evening too. The performance is consistent and reliable. Polo 67 is perfect for those looking for a one-and-done signature scent—an all-rounder that fits any occasion. It's also a great “dumb reach” option for perfume lovers with large collections who often get overwhelmed deciding what to wear. Just grab this, spray, and go. It’s also an excellent alternative if you find YSL MYSLF a bit too pricey. CONCLUSION Polo 67 may not offer much for niche heads—it’s synthetic, not super original, and definitely not artistic. But for guys who just want to smell good and be noticed, this is a winner. It’s insanely likeable, grabs compliments left and right, works for any setting, and delivers solid performance. What more could you ask for?

Oh my god, this thing is great. This is such an all around pleasant, comfortable, likeable fragrance. It's a Pabst Blue Ribbon in a fridge full of fancy, overcomplicated, "challenging" IPAs. This is such an easy reach, and then you're sitting in a cozy, clean, pineapple-y, musky bubble all day. So to start, this doesn't smell very much like the original Polo to me, the EDT or the EDP. Those are salty, and somewhat bracing, and very nondescriptly clean, in a thin, shower gel way. This is also clean, but in more of a clean laundry way. It's got the gauzy freshness of a dryer sheet, or sunwarmed laundry on a line. It sort of reminds me Invictus (the original EDT) in that regard, and the drydown is sort of similar. This isn't salty, is mildly woody, and has a pleasant sweetness that makes it so enjoyable to wear. It's discernible as pineapple, but not overwhelmingly so. They don't smell at all alike, but Vanagloria has this fleeting pineapple note that disappears and reappears throughout the wear time that I really like, and this pineapple note reminds me of that, but more steady and constant. It's got decent projection (though I admittedly never want my fragrances to expand beyond arms length), and quite good staying power for an EDT. I can always smell it strongly on my pillow in the morning. It's masculine, but closer to unisex than to Man CologneTM. It's also a nice, fresh scent for warm weather, which makes it feel odd to describe it as cozy, but it's cozy. It's comfortable cotton joggers around the house. Where I live it's almost always hot, and most of the cozy fragrances people recommend would be murder on an average day here, so finding a hot weather cozy fragrance is a real big win in my book. I'm sure there are more complex scents I'd choose for more specific occasions, but any casual day, I'm reaching for this, or even a more upscale casual day. Probably safe as a blind buy, because I can't imagine anyone hating this. My husband, who's generally unimpressed with my fragrance choices (and I with his opinions of them) loves this, and instantly declared it his favorite of what I've been wearing lately. Even if you don't trust it as a blind buy, it's really easy to find in a store to actually try it. The price is also really good. I got a new 75ml bottle of it for 45 bucks on ebay. I have absolutely no complaints about this one.

Ralph Lauren Polo 67 is a bit of a head scratcher. It is something I have worn more and more and love. Polo 67 has top notes of pineapple, bergamot and lemon; middle notes of sage, juniper and rose hip; and base notes of vetiver, patchouli and goldenrod. RL released two similar note profiles in previous years Ralph's Club with the notes of lavender, clary sage, Virginia cedar and vetiver. RL followed it up with Ralph's Club Parfum which added notes of apple, grapefruit, geranium, orange blossom, patchouli and cashmeran. Polo 67 is a mix of the Ralph's Club with some more blue notes namely the citrus notes up top and an Aventus like pineapple. Now before I have people jump on me because I know there are many ready with their pitchforks, it doesn't have the black currant bite Aventus and the like or other features of clones and inspirations have. That said, pineapple and bergamot mix does remind me a bit of Aventus. It then goes into a far more blue direction as the sage mid kicks in. The base is really muted for vetiver and patchouli standards. Thank goodness there is no goldenrod trace because it might make me sneeze. I used to not be able to be within 5 miles of goldenrod or Marigold fields without sneezing... Polo 67 is a very nice spring, summer and warmer fall scent. You can wear it on dates because it is a unique enough profile that may have familiar nuances but not 100 percent "boyfriend" or "brother" vibes like other popular fragrances. Maybe someday pineapple with citrus before going into clary sage will be. It smells clean and mass appealing so you won't be too challenging. It isn't a projection bomb so I wouldn't wear it clubing or during winter. Get a Ralph's Club flanker for that. However this will work for dates, work, dressing up and casual wear. Polo 67 I feel gets a bad rap. Some of it is deserved since RL did a very clary sage heavy fragrance and a Parfum to go with it. Now this is not as woody as the Ralph's Club fragrances and went a bit more bleu than the Ralph's Club fragrances. For this reason it is a 7.8 as it isn't amazing but far from banal even in a day and age where nearly everything released is light blue or bleu. That said, I wouldn't get this if you own a Ralph's Club fragrances or two already unless you collect Ralph Lauren fragrances. I can see more people getting this but who knows.

The opening of this fragrance is refreshing, with a delightful sweet fruity citrus scent. Honestly, it’s excellent. What pushed me to buy this fragrance was how the opening captivated me the first time I smelled it in the store. After about 10 minutes, I started to notice some green notes coming through. I can’t point out the middle notes without looking them up, but they are quite pleasant, evoking images of lush green fields. After the first hour, the scent then transitions into a woody aroma. For performance, Polo 67 shines during the first hour, projecting the sweetness from the opening and middle. It extends beyond arm's length for that first hour. Once the base woody notes come in, expect the projection to reduce to about a foot for the next five hours before it settles into a skin scent. While Polo 67 may not be the most exciting fragrance, I have to admit it’s a great one to have in your collection. I can’t imagine anyone disliking this scent or hesitating to wear it when it’s warm outside. I was genuinely surprised by how much I liked it when I first encountered it at the Polo store. If you're looking for a fragrance that you can wear anytime and anywhere, you should definitely check this one out!

Polo 67 is near a perfect desinger mass appealing scent. It is not complex, but that doesn't mean it lacks character. It's so well balanced and effortless. I habe over 200 fragrances and this is amongst the top tier of dumb reaches. I do fine that the scent profile can he slightly cloying in high heat, and is better suited to mild weather for myself. I'm wearing it in 20 degree weather and it's smells amazing! I didn't really love it so much when I forst tried it back in the spring, but now having purchased a full bottle I do think this is an example of how you can't properly test with micro sprays from samplers. Polo 67 manages to take the best elements of several designers and pack it into one bottle. A bit of Invictus Platinum, Ch Bad Boy Cobalt, Coach Men and they put their own Ralph Lauren stamp on it. I really appreciate it when the o.g. fragrance desinger brands step their game up again. Is this an unique and totally original scent profile? Not at all, but I've had plenty of newer designer frags that are the epitome of boring and lacking any character. This is all subjective, but when it's right it's right!

Wow guys please listen up. I gifted this to my brother in law for his birthday as I wanted something mass appealing and easy going for him to wear all year round... I visited today and I kept getting the most amazing whiffs as we were all hanging out so I asked him what he was wearing and it was this! We also went walking around and he was leaving a trail everywhere he went... I even went looking for him at one point during the night and could literally smell where he had been inside the house... I even left for 2 hours and came back and it was still pumping off his skin I was pretty shocked as I didn't think this would be such a great performer. If you're on the fence then don't be... This is seriously a great all rounder for the less picky and will get you noticed for smelling great. I might have to buy myself a bottle soon too!

It has a similar vibe to Versace Dylan Blue, but Polo is more fresh spicy and a tad warmer due to the woods being more present on the top. The opening is really nice. Sharp citrus with Pineapple but not sharp to where you crinkle your nose. The only similarity it has to YSL Y is the sharp sweet opening and the fresh spicy. The dry down is very good. It is a blue fragrance but not a shower gel blue freshie. Performance wise, its average. Not beast mode but not fleeting either. I think it can be worn whenever. Overall, this is a safe blind buy. I can't see how this could disappoint anyone. Worth the money IMO but depending on what you already have, it could overlap with a lot of other frags and quickly make it not worth the money. P.S. I would take Versace Dylan Blue over this 9 times out of 10. Polo 67 is just woodier. 7.5/10

Just bought this at Ross for 54.99. Been looking to get this for a while after testing it at an Ulta near me. Absolutely love this cologne and can see why people say it can be a basic blues fragrance. But I think it does basic well and does more than that too. It’s been about 12 hours from one spray and I can still smell it when walking around my house but stopped heavily projecting after about 3-4 hours then started to slowly taper off. After around 7 hours it becomes more of an intimate fragrance. I have seen that it could depend on the batch you buy though. I’d say mine was a good batch. End thoughts - I’m pretty impressed with this and I would definitely buy again 👍 Definitely worth the 55 bucks I paid for it but wouldn’t pay the retail 90ish. Try to find this at an in store or online discounter if you’d purchase.

Oh look people complaining about a blue fragrance from ralph lauren that smells like a blue fragrance from Ralph Lauren. There are many niche and indie brands if you want to smell non-traditional, there are designers houses like Cartier and Hermes if you want to smell non-mainstream. It's like complaining a corolla doesn't drive like an F1 race car...1 would suck on a race track and one would suck going grocery shopping. Theyre made with different intents and both are great (and shitty) in their own right This fragrance is well done and smells great. The perfumer is a giant in the game. I enjoy this more than YSL Y edp which was too far on the juvenile/young side for me though they are in the same genre of scent profiles. Someone below said its like a mix of YSL and bleu de chanel and I agree with that

Ralph Lauren's 2nd take on a modern blue style fragrance and they killed it again (I loved Ralphs Club EDP and the Parfum). Fresh juicy pineapple and citrus in the opening. As it settles you begin to smell the aromatic green notes and just a bit of woods to balance it all out. You can wear any time although I prefer to wear these type of scents during the summer and spring. For an EDT this actually has decent projection and longevity (about 6-7 hours on my skin). The opening in particular has a lot of push. People can hate all they want and call it boring but blue fragrances are made to be versatile and crowd pleasing. You can also find this on sale at discounters. Solid bang for your buck especially for a designer fragrance.

Does this site have a personal vendetta against Polo 67 EDP? Did that fragrance commit a crime against humanity? Did someone here get their girl stolen by a dude wearing it? It's a very nice improvement over the original, richer, deeper, better for the cooler weather since it is sweeter, but it's also a major compliment getter, people pleaser and head turner. Honestly it's very weird why it won't get added on here and it's been out since at least February, but I wanted to add my two cents on that one. I feel the EDT is better for the Spring and mild Summer days and honestly you could have both without them being too redundant to each other, but overall the EDP is the better blended scent 🍍🪵😍

This is a solid one. I'm still sniffing the hand after 5+ hours of sampling this at Macy's. They are pushing this as it is the newest release from the house of Ralph. As soon as you enter the store, they will try to sell you this with a free Polo '67 hat. Not a bad deal. I can't compare this to any YSL line because I never owned any. This has the same accords as freshie blue cologne. I don't get why people are against this being compared to other blue frags! This is like any other classic blue fragrance with a little twist. 9.5/10 rating from me. If I was in the market to buy a new cologne, I would get this fast! Where's the "Tour De Fragrance" guy? I want to know his opinion on this. Lol

My teenage son wore Polo 67 EDT to dinner last week, and the waitress came to our table looking for who smelled so good. I was also wearing a fragrance, but my son's Polo 67 was what she was looking for. This is a very pleasant, mass-appealing, blind-buy worthy bottle that gives you good sillage for a couple of hours, and wears well throughout the day. If you are considering this for a spring or warm season gift, you've found it! The price right now is also a steal with some of the online retailers. I think the EDP is redundant as I smelled it recently next to the EDT. They are quite similar, and It may improve longevity, but I wouldn't know without a wear.

Polo 67. My first fragrance as an adult (24 year old male). Although I am constantly reaching for new samples and have since graduated to the wonderful world of Guerlain, Frederic Malle, etc., I will never forget the fragrance that started it all. If I were content to own one fragrance that would surely always be available anywhere at any time for a reasonable price--this is it. One of the few fragrance that always lands me a compliment. Always a joy to smell my shirt and achieve the satisfaction only a good dry down can offer. Makes for the perfect birthday and Christmas gift, tried and true. As the saying goes, you never forget your first love.

This smells great. Solid designer scent and a perfect all around fragrance for someone with a small collection. It really reminds me of YSL Y EDP, especially the opening, but imo it's much more balanced. I find Y way too sweet, but this one is better. It dries down to kind of a patchouli vanilla, which is also really nice. My only complaint is that it doesn't last or project at all on my skin. I honestly only get maybe 2 hours before it's a complete skin scent. It's decent on clothes, but not much better honestly. Still highly recommended.

I must confess; I didn’t want to like this one. (I’m not a fan of Polo in general, and old memories of Polo Green are off-putting as hell.) But I was pleasantly surprised by Polo 67’s fresh, fruity, aromatic, and woody mix of top and middle notes. The dry down matures nicely, developing into a scent that delivers a wonderfully modern spin on an old classic. An all weather, mostly day scent with decent longevity and sillage. Very versatile, easy, with an obvious mass appeal. Again, really surprised I enjoyed this one as much as I did. 4/5

Just absolutely breathtaking. As someone who’s always loved the Polo line, I often felt they held themselves back... too weak, too safe, never daring to be different. This? This is the correction. A woody, lifelike pineapple twist on Mont Blanc Legend Spirit, turned up to 10. It’s stronger than Legend Spirit, yet more masculine than YSL’s offerings. It hits every mark perfectly. This is an easy daily wear for me, and at 125ml for $55, it feels like daylight robbery. One of the very few fragrances I’ll confidently give a 10/10.

I love the opening of Polo 67. It opens up with a burst of effervescent citrus that sadly disappears too quickly. What you're left with is a pleasant creamy woody Vetiver and Patchouli, which is essentially YSL Myself EDP, but with Pineapple instead of Orange Blossom. If you're a fan of this kind of scent profile, then Polo 67 is a much cheaper option than Myself. Overall, it's nothing groundbreaking, but it's extremely easy to wear and can be worn all year round. Personally, I wish the opening held into the drydown. 7.5/10

My boyfriend got this and is one of my favorites out of his 50+ cologne collection. To me, it smells like old money without being "old" (for reference he's 22). It smells like hot young golfer guy with taste so pretty much my boyfriend in a bottle. This is also what I imagine Nate Archibald from GG to smell like. It's classic, borderline generic, but I like the classics. The notes made me think it would smell tropical, but it's not tropical at all (thank goodness). Amazing sweet, citrusy, aromatic scent.

One of my favorite colognes, but it is an EDT, so it is not long lasting. Love the way it smells when it goes on and dries down. This cologne reminds me a little of YSL Y-intense, but without the spiciness. You definitely smell the citrus fruitiness, but not a sweet fruity smell. I pick up an orange/pineapple/lemon when I first put this on, but it dries down nicely. I wish it were an EDP and would last longer. You'll have to re-apply it if you're going to wear it for a long day or night.
