Polo Earth Austral Sandalwood

Smells really familiar. Reminds me of something Ive smelled in the past but cant put my finger on it. This does not smell like anything from Le Labo. This is inoffensive and blind buy worthy, the same I cannot say about the other polo earth offerings despite liking the EDT and Moroccan Neroli as well. Woody, fresh, warm.. maybe the most calming and agreeable scent of the line. UPDATE: Ive found it!... the top and mid is eerily reminiscent of Chanel Allure Homme Blanche, but without the strong lemon top note. The vanilla woodsy/sandalwood drydown makes these two similar and with time, the drydown becomes more and more of a generic sweet woodsy scent but it remains smooth. The lasting power is commendable - not quite as strong as the Chanel Allure Homme Blanche. Value is pretty good I would say. A definite blind buy option.

I think this is a men's fragrance. It's a soapy, spicy scent, a bit dusty but not powdery, the vanilla doesn't show its sweetness, more like spice. It reminds me of the scents of the early 2000s, but modern. It's just a lighter, airier version of CH 212 and Kenzo Jungle Homme. Age group 30+. I can imagine it more in the summer. It can work with a white polo and jeans, formal wear too. I really like it.

Love every Polo Earth Release up to this one (check). Love Sandlewood (check). Wow Polo Earth comes out with a Sandlewood release, it's going to be awesome - blind buy big bottle (check). Ugh - I really can't stand it. Something in the opening is nauseating (I think the cardamom). I have yet to smell Sandlewood in this. It really irritates my lungs and gives me asthma. It reminds me of fabreeze. I've tried to wear it 4-5 times now and every time the same reaction. I'll be giving this one away free to a relative who wears anything and go back to the Anthilles Vetiver which I've been wearing every day.

This smells a good bit like emporio Armani to me. There is a “rubberyness” to this scent, but I really enjoy it. That is what reminds me of Emporio Armani so much. The bergamot and eucalyptus brings some nice freshness that really shows up when you get your nose close to it. Nice, steady sandalwood and this turns out to be an easy to wear fragrance that I find to be unique in the current landscape of men’s and unisex colognes. This can be worn casually or dressed up, and I could see this being a decent fragrance to layer when you want a smooth, touch creamy woodsy note that will not overpower the fragrance you spay on top of it. Lasts a long time and was still on my skin post-shower. I am a fan of the Polo Earth line in general, with provincial sage being my absolute favorite. Polo has been low key knocking it out of the park lately. The price is right overall and they have something for everyone, minus a big time gourmand. Not available on discounters as of yet, but once it is, I would imagine you will be able to find this for half the price. Simple, elegant and incredibly versatile.

This could be really good, looking forward to smelling the eucalyptus in this. I'm optimistic!
