Polo Red Parfum

Personal: 9/10 – It’s an amazing designer fragrance that’s on the border of a masterpiece just due to how fun and wearable it is. It’s chic but masculine, and very pleasant. Mass appeal: 8.5/10 – Nobody’s gonna hate it. The bright citruses might cut a bit too much for some, but just don’t go crazy with the sprays. Overspraying this one is a concern. Performance: 7/10 – Doesn’t last as long as a parfum concentration usually would, but not disappointing. Just a bit sub-par. Value: 7/10 – Would be higher if it dropped below $80 on discounters. Still expensive as far as Polo fragrances go, unfortunately. Uniqueness: 6.5/10 – Not groundbreaking, but a fresh, fruity-woody take that feels modern compared to other Polo flankers. SCORE: 76/100 Full bottle buy? YES, it’s one of my most used fragrances. Blind buy? YES, it’s approachable, mass appealing, and easy to wear. Dissimilar from other Red flankers (except the EDP), so DNA is hard to predict. Recommend? YES, it’s a great option for anyone wanting something a bit citrusy and fruity but still masculine and professional. Date night? YES, playful enough for casual dates, classy enough for evenings out. Office safe? YES, fresh and professional, just watch the trigger finger. Pros: Unique, fun, and very wearable. Good for all 4 seasons and both day and night. Office and date friendly. A great GADA (go anywhere, do anything) fragrance. Cons: More expensive than other Polo fragrances on discounters, doesn’t last as long as a parfum should, surprisingly linear. For my twelfth review, I’m going back to Ralph Lauren, but visiting one of their most recent fragrances. Polo Red Parfum is my favorite in the line, and my favorite Polo fragrance currently in production (yes, even more than Green). It opens with a bright burst of aromatic, citrusy, fruity freshness that I really enjoy, and to my nose, it has a very strong misc. red berry note. It’s got great citrus and woods to keep it fresh, even through the dry down, and it stays smelling great. Though it’s linear, not complicated, and somewhat generic, it’s a very pleasant designer fragrance. It lends itself well to both day and evening wear and is absolutely office appropriate. It’s a bit more adventurous than other Polo fragrances, and other Red flankers. It’s not the most groundbreaking fragrance, at all, but it’s very pleasant and easy to wear, and I don’t actually miss the coffee note from the other Red flankers. This is my first review on this website or for any fragrance in general, this is the frag that got me into the scene; After smelling hundreds of different ones I still come back to this one, and it is a sleeper for sure. My only gripe is the price, and the longevity for a designer fragrance is mid. Everything else is perfect, and it flies under the radar being from Polo, their red line up isn't the best and this unfortunately gets mixed up with their EDT which smells disgusting. The opening is a very sharp bergamot and chemical red pepper scent, it makes you want to give it up after spraying it as a tester. It is head-ache inducing the first few times, but once you get used to it or let it sit for around 5 minutes it progresses and still keeps a lit profile of the top notes. The middle notes project well once the scent develops, I like to spray it on the back of the neck to leave trails but it does not have immense sillage. It is a masculine-leaning confident and attractive scent with a bit of fresh spice to it (which I hated until I smelled it here). The skin scent is sexy... Musky, woody, and slightly powdery but not too much. It leans to be a winter scent but can be worn year-round, performance is on par with a summer EDP. This is a decent date-night scent if you don't want something overly seductive or loud. Safe blind buy if you like the notes, I would say it is borderline Niche but not in an offensive-way. I would say the average buyer would rate this well, but not amazing for the price. There is a small chance it may become a good daily/year-round frag if you do love it; Mileage may vary. TLDR; Fall smelling borderline-niche frag, that is a perfect example of a winter fragrance that can be worn almost year round; Day or night because of the citrus top notes and mid performance/sillage.

I'd be lying if I said I was surprised that this doesn't perform well. I had read some reviews here beforehand. I got my nose on this in-store a while back, and liked it. But I was there for another purpose, so I back-burnered it with the intent to order a decant and do some testing with a few wears. I have to say, it smells really, really good. Very nice scent profile, with a great opening. As it dries down, it transitions rather quickly into a skin scent, and then just...disappears. I mean, literally in less than an hour, I found myself sniffing at my arm. Concentrations aside, we buy fragrances to smell good. This smells good. But, this will be a pass for me. I want something that can be SMELLED, for at least a little while, by people in close proximity to me, without being overwhelming. No one will smell this on you, so there is no risk of being overwhelming for sure. It is a shame, seems to be the trend. More and more of these underperformers, costing more and more money. Not buying a bottle, although it does smell good while it is in the air... Update: I might have to retract some of my negativity. I really, really like this. So much so, that I might pony up for a bottle and just overspray it. It's a shame that the ones we really like don't perform as well as the ones we don't. Update #2: Bought a big bottle. I had to. I really like this. Update #3: Don't know if this is a thing with mass-market designers, but my bottles performance has actually improved slightly in about two months of occasional use (macerated?). I'm getting noticeably more longevity and what seems to be a more outward projection as well. Had a positive reaction from a passerby recently whilst out running errands, a few hours after applying around 4-5 sprays.

Well well well, Ralph has come back with a new parfum. Now with the absence of cranberry and coffee I can see the anger. However, this is definitely Polo Red. The smell in the opening is still that fruity sweetness with a nice amount of citrus. But the reason I bought it is because the note of absinthe intrigued me. And indeed it still does. It doesn’t come through until the mid though. In the opening i definitely get the blood orange and pink pepper, but not much else. Maybe a little bit of lavender in the late opening. But the mid is where the absinthe comes through and oh boy, it’s good, like very good. It’s relatively unique but it’s also familiar. But along with the absinthe I get a slight cedar and a little bit of musk. And then once the dry down starts I do pick up on the orris. It starts to make it a little powdery, but also a little more mature because it’s not a full blown iris, but a mellow and faint floral powdery nature. But as with almost all Polo fragrances, performance varies. This is my first day of wearing it for an actual day, and the silage isn’t there. I get maybe 2 feet worth, where only people standing next to me can smell it. Performance so far is good, it’s been about 4 hours and I can smell it relatively clearly. So overall I give it an 8.5/10 Scent:10/10- amazing absinthe note and citrus Performance:6/10- could push out a little more Wearability: 10/10- can wear wherever, whenever Compliments: N/A- haven’t gotten one

I smiled when I first sprayed my bottle of Polo Red Parfum. The opening is fantastic. It smells like how you'd expect a great designer fragrance to smell. Not crazy unique, but so incredibly pleasant. I honestly don't have the words to describe it's notes, but it smells super elegant, yet playful. The opening has a perfect level of spices; it's baffling. Genuine 9.5/10 just off of the first couple of hours. However; what I found disappointing about this fragrance was the drydown. No, it didn't smell bad, but it smelled SUPER similar to JPG Ultramale. I'm actually very surprised that I haven't seen anyone say that yet; it was nearly 90% similar. I was really hoping this could've been a more linear scent because I loved the opening so much. If you don't have Ultramale or a dupe of Ultramale in your collection, then I think that this wouldn't be a redundant purchase. But if you do, just know that the first couple hours is what your really paying for. Because again, the drydown is pretty much just Ultramale. The longevity on this is also pretty unremarkable. A good 1-2 hours of projection, and 4-5 hours as a skin scent. That's gonna slightly negatively affect my rating as well. Overall rating: 8.5/10 Loved it. Was just disappointed by the performance and its similarity to Ultramale in the drydown. But no regrets with this purchase.

i was looking for a cologne and it was either this or azzaro most wanted parfum and my friend told me to get the azzaro so i did. i ended up not liking it after a few weeks of having it and my friend had a 125ml of this and we made a trade because i love how this smells on my skin so much more. this is a very citrusy spicy fragrance that lasts long on my skin and projects very well. almost every time i’ve worn this fragrance i’ve gotten a complement weather that’s by my friends or a random person who likes the scent. this is becoming my signature scent and i love it so much. this is definitely one of my favorite fragrances in my collection i reach for this about 4 times a week which is good considering my collection. Solid scent 9.5/10 for sure. edit: now that i have more colognes and have really experimented with different scents and tested out what i like i really don’t find this as great as i thought it once was still a great scent though. I would now give it an updated rating of 8/10

Polo Red Parfum is a fruity, aromatic and spicy fragrance. Its opening is aromatic and fruity, a little close to the aroma of a sweet apple and also a little floral due to the lavender accord. At first I thought the scent would be very sweet, but after several minutes the fragrance becomes aromatic and spicy, with some pepper and maybe ginger and a very pleasant semi-sweet base. The smell of the fragrance is modern, in the style of fragrances such as Stronger With You or Azzaro Wanted EDT, although it maintains part of the DNA of the Polo Red line, that is, it is a versatile fragrance, suitable for people of any age, for causal situations. , school, daily use, etc. In terms of longevity, it surprised me, lasting more than 12 hours. on my skin, which for a Ralph Lauren fragrance is a lot, its sillage is noticeable for the first hour and then it goes down close to the skin. Its aroma is easy to like, especially if you enjoy modern aromatics, although it is not cheap.

I am a vanilla lover so this one is right up my alley. I really love the opening, it somewhat reminds me of Azzaro the most wanted or Valentino yellow dream, yet I don’t see those in the “smells like” section...but sadly the opening does not last for long, the dry down is ok, just not as good as the opening. It’s biggest downfall right now is the price. I got a 10 mL sample for $10, but there is no way I would pay $135 for a 4.2 oz. However if this ever gets to around $60 at discounters I’m in for a bottle! Longevity is ok but not that great. I’m getting around 3 hours with moderate projection. After 3 hours it’s basically a skin scent only. Looks like more people are voting this to be a nighttime frag but to me it’s not quite strong enough and would be better for daytime use. 6/10 - Nice, just wish the opening stayed longer, wish the projection was better, and its overpriced right now

This is my favorite release of 2023. Don't believe the haters, try it out for yourself and find out. The Red DNA has been modernized, with vastly improved performance, and it smells incredible. I wore it to work yesterday and got at least 10+ hours of longevity with only 2 sprays - a true Parfum concentration. The main notes my nose picks up are cranberry, blood orange, cedar, lavender, and a beautiful musk. I know it is not listed, but the Cranberry note is still there. I will say that it is quite rich, sweet, and a bit heavy/thick. Definitely not a summer freshy, and certainly sits in the camp JPG, Invictus style of fragrances. I happen to love this, but super-freshy ADG diehards might not care for it. If you are looking for a slightly unique, modern, mass appealing fragrance - this fits the bill.

Extremely underrated fragrance, this fragrance absolutely surprised me by the sweet bergamot top note and blood orange note as-well. Fruity scent which is eased out by a moderate lavender note, and small cedar note as-well. I will say that this fragrance needs a little bit more sprays because of the projection which is a little bad. Long lasting fragrance. I wear it sometimes to school and it will last about 7 & 1/2 hours which is perfect for anyone who is going to come back to school. (Side note, the bottle cap falls off very easily so make sure you don't lose it or pick it up by the cap or it will fall to the ground likely.) Overall, this fragrance is amazing for anybody who's coming back to school, or looking for a nice, sweet, fruity bergamot fragrance. Will buy again.

Beautiful juicy, fruity open with the blood orange and absinthe (I think it jumps to open rather than wait around in the middle). Loving the interplay on the open with middle notes where lavender and iris comes more into play; the powderiness of the iris evokes a freshness, so the fruit is less cloying and makes me just think of being in a farmer's market with fresh fruit being cut. After a decent amount of time the scent settles into a lovely cedar balsamic musk, and interestingly this is when I get more of the pink pepper. I don't feel as though this is too heavy to try in early Summer, even though I'll probably be reaching for a lot more blues living in a hot desert.

I have been following this one since it was announced and let the woman that sells me cologne at Dillards know that a new red was coming out. She and I have been waiting for it for months. She texted me this morning to let me know the truck came in and I bought the first bottle! The scent. It is typical red with some refining! This is much like red intense but with some punch. it lasts forever and the dry down is wonderful. It has all the DNA of Red. The cranberry cuts through immediately. I don't know why it is not mentioned in the notes on this web sight, but it is there! It is typical RL where it needs to be reapplied after 4 hours, but very mass appealing. Get it!

Fresh blood orange opening, with a slight warmth in the base, almost chocolaty. I guess that's why people compare it to Ultrared, which has praline and vanilla. In the drydown the blood orange moves into the background and the warmer "chocolaty" scent into the foreground, but it stays very versatile and isn't too sweet or warm. This fragrance works all year round in my opinion (even high heat summer) and smells really good. The only downside is performance.. it's a rather weak fragrance that doesn't project much after ~30min, even though on clothing it lasts a fair amount of time, it just doesn't really project anymore.

I love it. It is similar to the Polo Red original. It is somewhat louder than it though. I love the original but after spraying this I could barely smell PR when u went to go sniff it. It is sweet. But not intoxicating and annoying. It is a soft sweet. Someone will sniff you and say, "you smell nice". It's not an attention grabber like Sauvage or Polo Green, but it feels natural on my skin. I do feel like the Sillage is not great. Maybe its due to the season or just whatever is in the juice. But it is okay for this to be a more intimate scent. It layers pretty well with some other earthy scents due to its citrus note.

Fantastic juice. It's got a fresh/cooling/fruity almost minty kick whilst simultaneously smelling deep and resinous. Smells like it looks - dark red fruity syrupy goodness. Closest fragrance I could compare it to would be Eros Flame, but this feels more mature & not quite as sweet. Lasts 10-12 hours on clothes but the projection fades quickly after spraying. It's a "cozy" feeling fragrance so I suppose that's not a bad thing. It's suited for colder climates but I can also see this working on warm summer nights. I haven't yet tested it in the heat but perhaps the sillage is improved.

Very good designer scent! Extremely easy to wear in just about any scenario you can think of. 3 season fragrance imo, I just have fresher options to reach for in the high heat but this could be a do it all fragrance for sure. Blind buy safe for just about anyone, young or old! Lots of citrus, red fruits, and musks and it seems to be a fairly linear scent on my skin in particular. My only complaint would be the performance... I get 4-5 hours total with about an hour of legitimate projection. After that it gets pretty close to skin. Very good value if you can get it a discounter!

Smells amazing strong RICH dark woody and smooth while still maintaining a masculine freshness nothing synthetic about this it may seem like that cause of the absinthe note dont listen to those hating cry babies like the comment under mine. This could be worn anytime summer, winter, fall, or spring absolutely amazing 10/10 performance a easy no brainer while still maintaining a somewhat uniqueness also you could completely over spray this and it's not even cloying it just becomes a nice aurora of this masculine minty red freshness

The scent? Wonderful. Would agree that for someone new to fragrances, this would be a good place to start. The performance? Unfortunately, hideous on my skin, especially for a parfum. I guess we can call it a "moderate" performer; it squeaks out 3 hours...barely. Maybe add an extra hour or 2 on cloth. Three season appropriate; most suited to fall and winter IMO, but you could probably get away with it in spring. Feels like it could get cloying in summer. Male. Young adult to middle age. Safe for both office and more casual wear.

Juicy blood orange and the "en Vogue" absinthe note with a bright bergamot opening and a musky woody dry down. It sounds like a departure from the familiar cranberry coffee DNA of the original, but worn side by side, it is obvious they are in the same polo red family. Parfum finds a way to blend "now" notes into the classic DNA, giving it a complex and darker feel. It's a ripe, warm, modern, and beautifully blended stunner. It feels rich and high quality. The red glass bottle matches the scent inside perfectly.

This stuff smells absolutely beautiful , for like five minutes🥲 I sprayed on my skin the first time I saw it at ulta I was absolutely in love with it is such an amazing send it actually lasts a long time but after the first 30 minutes or so the smell becomes so faint you wouldn’t even guess it’s cologne , just like nice smelling laundry detergent you washed your clothes with that morning either way, I still might pick up a bottle just because I love the actual smell so much

The best Polo Red imo. I own Parfum, EDT, EDP, & Extreme. I liked it so much when I sampled it that I bought the biggest bottle. To me this smells like a musky black cherry candy. I prefer this as a skin scent over wearing this on clothes. 1-2 sprays on my chest before I put on my shirt and I can smell this 6-8 hours later. Projection isn't the greatest but I appreciate that for subtle occasions or even daily wear at work. This has quickly become one of my favorite scents.

This thing is so underrated and hated on just because its a Polo designer scent, and frankly I'm happy to have it a bit gatekept. I get zero orris, though i get that citrus, a touch of the absinthe, and the resin in the base with woods. I think it's a 4 season fragrance but I wouldn't wear it in the hottest summer days. Wearability is supreme. Any season, any reason, any occasion. 9+/10 If i'm being honest, after trying more than 200+ fragrances.

I've never been exposed to the OG polo red line, so I didn't have any expectations when I tried this. To me, it just smells a bit sweet with some underlying freshness imparted by the cedar/woods basenote. I find it to be absolutely intoxicating and I wanted to keep sniffing my arm after trying it. I immediately went and ordered a gift-pack bundle from Macy's. I think this stuff is just wonderful and I'm stoked to add it to my growing collection.

My second purchase from the Polo lineup after Ralphs Club NY. Got the full size bottle at Tj Maxx for a great price. Great scent, opens up with a nice citrus and gets a nice twist from the absinthe/orris. I don't pick up on the lavender but maybe that's what softens up the woodsy dry down. Great quality scent, it just doesn't last as long as I'd like it to.

This stuff is really just that good, idk why people talk about it it’s longevity, I sprayed on my boxers and the next day every-time I went to restroom I smelled it clearly! Over 12-15 hours easily on clothes. It’s a fresh sweet aromatic gem that you can find for cheap on mercari or discounters.. pull the trigger it’s worth it!

The best Polo Red imo. It's citrus, it's powdery, yet maintains masculine lean. I don't know how people say it doesn't perform. I get over 12 hours with this fragrance. It's not a beast projector, but it's moderate. You can wear this all year except for maybe the highest of heat. It's just a fantastic scent.

Good golly, how can this fragrance be so good. I like the note of absinthe from my trying of that niche L'Artisan Parfumeur fragrance but it was a little to extreme for my liking. But this Polo red parfum is insane great. Wow. Everything I prefer from a scent this has it covered.

Insanely underrated. Scent is absolutely amazing. When first sprayed there is an alcohol smell but after the dry down it’s uphill from there. Longevity really depends on your skin I get around 7 or 8 hours myself, but it will vary for others.

Just smelled this in store and wow! I genuinely forgot how great this was. Skip the EDT and EDP and go straight for the Parfum. You’ll save your time and money by getting exactly what you want upfront. Easy 8.5/10 from me.

This one beats the longevity rumors. Put a half spray on each wrist and it’s still going thirteen hours later. THIRTEEN! Smells incredible too, you could wear this during any season and probably any occasion.

This is in my top 3. this fragrance is a total mood-changer, dopamine release beast for me. too bad most people will never smell it, since retailers never have a tester bottle of this flanker out.

I like the scent very much, but in cold early spring it stays too close ty my skin. I imagine it performs much better on those with hot skin, and maybe I'll come back to test it in the summer.

Very nice basic designer. Blood orange opening is very nice, smells more fruity than citrusy. Grounded with a woody balsamic base, with some white musk. Longevity isn’t great for a parfum.

Polo Red Parfum smells incredible, one of my favorite fragrances. My only complaint is I wish that it lasted longer, but the smell is very masculine and citrusy and clean.

Tried it for the first time today, and I really liked it. My opinion on Polo frags have always been that they're "meh". But this one was really versatile and uplifting.

I love it. Sweet and citrus heavy. It feels fresh, but at the same time has density. Interesting. Could be a compliment getter. Fall is the optimal season.

Its Polo Red. End of discussion. THE RED fragrance. Not an easier ro wear fragrance ever to exist. Perfect for any occasion. A must have. 100/10

I really dig this, I'll probably get hate but to me reminds me at least through the mid to remind me of a more mature Eros Flame imo.

My favorite offering from the Polo line so far, like others longevity is not what I wish it was. Good anytime except high heat.

This is legitimately very good. The blood orange and absinthe notes are intoxicating. Lovely dry down as well.

Smells great, lil on the more adult side though, and would recommend more so to men rather than teens.

Cant wait for this release. The red line is my favorite besides the original green by Cosmair.

It's surprisingly pretty good 7.5 almost 8/10.

Ralph Lauren has done something quite different with this release. The defining note in this fragrance is the absinthe. After the initial opening, absinthe influences nearly all stages of this profile. The opening is a familiar burst of citrus and sweetness with a peppery texture that is common to the Red line. After the opening, Red Parfum settles into a very absinthe-forward profile that can be challenging. The mid is a bit green like fennel, coming from the absinthe, and a bit musky. The freshness of the opening withdraws completely and you're left with a kind of fougère profile as the lavender and orris mixes in to create a slightly soapy, slightly green accord that I'd hesitate to call fresh. Overall this scent plays out quite dynamically, it is sometimes bitter like a tonic water accord, and then sometimes sweet but green, as woods, opoponax, and musk come forward. In the very late stages of drydown, this fragrance becomes a very smooth, almost creamy wood scent. This is actually my favourite part of the scent's performance, but it takes a good 4-6 hours to get there. Performance is typical of a parfum. It projects 1-2 meters for about an hour or two, and then draws back to an intimate bubble for 10+ hours. That musky-wood mixed with sweet opoponax set of base notes lasts hours and hours as a skin scent that is quite pleasant. Red Parfum is best suited as a quirky pick for someone who wants to intrigue, but not necessarily advertise. The notes here are unusual for such a well-known designer, and I would not say Red Parfum is a crowd pleaser. I found the absinthe-infused middle act to be challenging and wavering in its appeal. I think Ralph Lauren should have gone with an anise or "black licorice" note in place of absinthe to keep the profile more consistently sweet or woody, instead of the slightly bitter fennel/reedy accord that absinthe produces. In a word, the middle act of Red Parfum is "inconsistent." The late-stage drydown corrects the wobbly track, and it becomes a pleasant and appealing skin scent. The question becomes whether waiting 4-6 hours to get the best part of the fragrance to appear is worth it. I do not think Red Parfum will be a hit. This is both a good, and bad thing. It's good for people who like this profile, and want that quirkiness to stay off the beaten path. It's bad because I expect Red Parfum will not be widely available for very long, and Ralph Lauren will not see these kinds of slightly experimental accords as worthy investments.

Polo Red Parfum opens with a sweet, almost syrupy blood orange that is really enjoyable. The pink pepper adds some extra sweetness and helps give the fruit more depth. The opening has a nice richness to it, but it doesn't stick around for too long. After about 15 minutes or so, it starts to move in a different direction. The lavender comes forward more, giving it a masculine, mature feel with a slightly powdery character. I also notice a small cooling bitterness from the absinthe, but it's very subtle and doesn't really stand out on its own. It just adds a little contrast to the sweetness. After a couple of hours, the fragrance settles into a smooth musky, powdery, woody scent. As it dries down further, the opoponax adds a soft resinous warmth that reminds me a little of Polo Red EDP. I do like Polo Red Parfum. I agree with others who have mentioned that the projection could be a little better, but I don't think it's a major issue. What I find interesting about this one is that it really does feel different from the rest of the Polo Red line. The cranberry and coffee DNA that many people associate with Polo Red isn't really here. I might catch the smallest hint of cranberry in the opening, but that could just be because I'm familiar with the other fragrances in the line. The blood orange sweetness actually reminds me more of the sadly discontinued 2017 Polo Red Extreme. It has a similar rich citrus sweetness, although Polo Red Parfum takes that idea in a smoother, more wearable direction. If you didn't enjoy Polo Red EDT or Polo Red EDP, I wouldn't completely rule this one out because it has its own personality. However, if what you love about Polo Red is that cranberry and coffee signature, this may not give you what you're looking for. I'd say this one leans a bit more toward cooler weather because of the syrupy sweet blood orange opening and the warmer musky, woody dry down, but I still think it can be pretty versatile. It's not a fragrance that projects across a room or demands attention, but that's part of its appeal. This is the kind of scent you reach for when you want something that smells good, feels put together, and is simply enjoyable to wear for yourself.

The absinthe note might make this unique, but I would never have guessed it was there if I didn’t know. To me, this is the blue fragrance of red fragrances. Meaning it does have a warm feeling to it and I can associate the color red with the overall scent, but it seems very easy to wear, inoffensive, multi-seasonal, and slightly synthetic (in a normal designer way). The opening is a little fresh, while the dry down is smooth, woody and maybe sweet. On me, it doesn’t project too much after the initial hour or two and wears more intimately for a while after that, as a parfum concentration should. My skin tends to eat up frags, so the performance will definitely vary from person to person. I’d say give it a shot when it’s on sale.

I really liked the opening of this one. The opening comes across like a sweeter fruitier version of the original Polo Red EDT, albeit with the fruity note being slightly different. Feels reminiscent of Ultra Male in its fruity sweetness. The opening seemed to be a bit inconsistent for me, sometimes lasting only an hour or so before the fruitiness faded, and other times it seemed to push 3 hours. The downside is that for a Parfum, this did not seem to last all that long in general, and the dry-down turns more woody and spicy, as opposed to the more gourmand version of original EDT. Ultimately I ended up returning it because it doesnt make sense to buy a fragrance just to enjoy the opening. Moderate projection.

Scent is classic, versatile, with disappointingly weak longevity. I am only picking up weak scents of it on my skin 6 hours after application. Good scent for work. Sillage is not overpowering. This was an internet purchase for me after testing colognes at Nordstrom. After testing dozens of scents that day, I walked away with a different cologne, but of all the scents, I was very drawn to Polo Red. That noted, there are so many damn Polo Red flankers out there, I could not remember which one it was. So I got this one. I do not regret the purchase, however, it is not a "go to" for me. Final Recommendation, go out and smell this or any other flanker out there to determine what you like!
