Polo Red Remix

A tweaked Polo Red for the better, smells cleaner (more soapy) and it's not as thick. You can totally pull this on summer nights but I think it's a spring fragrance. It also has more longevity than the original because of the amberwood and tonka but it will sit closer to the skin after 1 hour, you can counter that by spraying more but the opening is loud. I really like it I wouldn't buy Polo Red over this one.

This is amazing! It’s a cross between Polo red extreme and Polo red rush. It gives me invictus legend vibes. Beautiful scent!

A fresher flanker of polo red. Pleasant scent but poor performance at least on my skin.

First Pass - A little citrus. A little sweet. Hint spice. Very powdery 2 Hours Later - Citrus is still present, a little woods, mostly powder 4 Hours Later - Citrus has receded, and soured somewhat. A little fruity. A little amber. A lot of powder Looking at the build, mandarin for the citrus, cardamom and clary sage for the aromatic spice. I don’t get any cranberry or saffron. Patchouli and coffee didn’t stand out to me, but now that I'm looking, they are there. Amber woods for sure. Tonka bean is the star, and there is plenty of it Overall - This flanker far exceeds the sum of its parts. Polo Red was indecisive, Polo Red Rush almost a fresh aquatic, and Polo Extreme was very nearly a good fragrance (all of which I have reviewed separately). Red Remix is the culmination of all of these. The citrus that I found discordant in Polo Red, and overbearing in Red Rush, is all but absent here. Polo Extreme (which I enjoyed) strays perilously close to suffocatingly sweet & powdery. Remix dances circles around them all. Powdery notes are a challenge for me. They mostly register as feminine to me, as do many floral scents. The roasted tonka bean changes the game. It’s malted, velvety, bordering on sumptuous. That single accord transforms this fragrance into something else entirely. It’s so rich, so decadent, it almost has a texture as you inhale it. They saved the best for last. Polo Red Remix is the most coherent & compelling version of this line, and the only one that retains a place on my shelf. Best enjoyed on a cold fall day, when the leaves have fallen and the air is close enough to winter, you can almost see your breath ***Scents, like tastes, are subjective. Wear what you like***

Smells clean, a bit spice and with a little bit of depth. Could be the coffee note, I'm no expert. The opening is a bit harsh, but it quickly goes away and the fragrance does its thing well after 5 minutes. After 3-4 hours it turns gourmand on me. An Exelent soft spice and coffee-cacao scent. That's the best part of the whole journey, and is worth the price on its own. At this point it is a pure skin scent though. If it had that scent, with projection from the beginning, this would be a legendary 10/10 from me. It's an Exelent scent. Not a lot of expensive ingredients here. But for the price, u didn't expect that either. A nice 8/10 from me, with a 10/10 finish. Generally blind buy safe.

Yuck!!! D: Red Intense is my favorite of the Polo Red line, with Red Rush and Red EDP coming in as close seconds. I was excited to try this one too, but as far as my nose can tell, I only really get the patchouli, amberwood, sage, and cardamom notes, and the patchouli gives Red Remix a funky, stinky note that I just can't endure. I totally wish I could have found a sample instead of buying a bottle, but if anyone wants a like-new bottle of Red Remix, definitely hit me up!

Loses that fruitiness from Polo Red (it's there for maybe 10 minutes) and then just smells like shower gel, very clean scent...very boring. If you just need something to smell "good" and don't want to stand out, this would work (like really anything in the RL line)

So far i mostly get a nice coffee sweet scent and it smells the bomb! .. still need a few more wearings to decide if its worth the price but so far the performance doesn't seem to be the best...polo red rush actually lasted longer on me than this

Sufficiently similar to a cross between Polo Red EDT and the EDP/Parfum that it's redundant in my collection, but it's generally a very good flanker.

Just sniffed this one from a paper sample in Men’s Health magazine. Hard to judge from those, but immediately the sage stands out in the top notes to my nose. This gives a really fresh almost clean laundry type vibe. On initial sniff, it reminded me of one of the Cool Water summer flankers I have (Exotic Summer), which features a prominent sage note. After the laundry type opening though, from what I could tell, this one dries down to a sweeter base with that kind of powdery coffee/wood note I get in Polo Red Extreme. I was dismissive of this when I first heard of it, but upon initial sniff, this is easily my favorite from the Red line. The magazine sample intrigued me enough that I plan on testing it in store as soon as I see it. The combination of fresh laundry w/ sweet notes also plays in the same area as the Le Male fresh flankers (Popeye, Superman, etc).

Hello. Goodbye. Where did it go? Seriously, this literally dissipated within minutes. Not even a trace left 30 minutes later. They should be ashamed for wasting the materials used to make the product and advertise it. If you like the original Red, buy that instead.

L’Oréal tries to appeal to younger, but it’s like your parents dressing up as “cool”, but they don’t look cool. Only difference is you still love your parents. L’Oreal, people ain’t buying into BS no more, just a tip.
