Polo Supreme Cashmere

Epic Journey Into the Bottled Yonder, 232 ------------------------------------------------------- Purchased June 2025 - NOS Had wanted this for at least a couple of years. This is the most PG rated of the Supremes. Very nice and gentle. An amber resin scene sweetened with a cola, double sars wood which all settles into a soft and gentlemanly woolen vibe. Fresh off the bolt, yet still quite unique. It's basically the Coty Musk version in this line of Ralph, not seeking attention. Subdued. Sensible. Listening. Observing. Using telepathy to grab your attention if on your clothes or skin. I think I need Wild Musk now to layer with Coty Musk for Men. Perhaps that's what's missing from it, and Supreme Cashmere strikes me as a moderately modernised version. Anyway, back on track. I'm sure this would smell just as good or even better on a test strip, but being on my forearms, body and both sides of the neck. I only tried this on my body so far, since I trusted it and still do. It's been as strong since the first trial. I've worn this cologne 3 times so far and I don't think it needed to settle on my shelf. Been taking it slow, trying to meditate on it - think it through with each approach. This Supreme Cashmere truly requires a relaxed mind. It's the weakest of the bunch. I had an OEM sample spray of Supreme Oud and I wish I could go back to that moment it first dropped into my mailbox. Because I swear to you it smelt even better, but, no regrets. Sometimes the first time is the best experience with anything you're not ready for. Ralph pulled off the Oud and the Leather. To me they're neck and neck. And by the way the bottle itself is not gray as shown above, it's a faded cola and transparent/more transparent than the first Supremes. I'd say this is with all respect at the bottom of the three, but doesn't matter because it's a such a nice scent. Those who have read my past reviews know I require something with a little kick. I'm the Willy Wonka of scents, I like to get crazy rather than stroll my way through a situation. I'm the type to kick the door down and start shooting at nothing. I don't care if nothing's behind the door, I just need to and love to shoot first. In contrast, this bottle keeps me cool, calm & collected. And depending how I go with this cologne, I may come back to further my observations on it. A bottle of manly meditation. Supreme Cashmere is quite versatile and gets my attention, so if you loved the first unstoppable duo you'll easily love this almost as much. For what you get overall it's the most overpriced of them, nevertheless it's worth it. We "are" enthusiasts if we end up with niche Lauren. Batch: September 2016.

Really glad I stumbled upon this somewhat dark slightly sweet smoky frag! That to me is very underrated for whatever reasons and could easily be signature scent worthy if you are into that or recognize your favorite scents as such. Performance wise compared to Polo Supreme Leather and Supreme Oud with the same amount of sprays on my test strips Supreme Cashmere to me not only smells better than both but also has superior longevity ranking on the high end of moderate or slightly above. Since this may have been discontinued I have picked up several backup bottles so I can rock this stuff in the cooler months well into the future. For me this scent just checks all the right boxes. The short uncomplicated note breakdown to me is what you see is what you get with spot on proportions that produce a very alluring synergy effect. I really dig the smoky incense smell that to me is the dominate note along with the ever so slight sweetness that rides along with it as an undertone. I have over sprayed test strips to amp up the smoky incense smell of it to the point of anosmia only to come back to it later to enjoy it all over again. :D Just my two cent worth but I think this could very likely smell incredible on a lady as well although it is not listed as unisex. I would imagine even more so if skillfully layered with a quality honey or even cinnamon/honey mixture as long as it didn't go overkill on the sweetness.

Really love this to me it's a adolescent version of the recent Polo Oud ( Not Supreme Oud(. I think it's the incense, initially I didn't smell any similarities but had to grab my wallet from my car, immediately on opening it hit me. Yup, the similarities are therew. This is better for Spring & Fall, it's slightly lighter than Polo Oud. Which can easily cover Fall through to Spring. You could use Cashmere in winter absolutely but its not as potent. The opening is beautiful as it starts to drydown around 45min late4 it becomes smokey with the Myrrh, though this definitely contains intense in here as well. Its smooth, somewhat dark, mysterious, bold, has good performance and lastly the bottle is very nice. I love the Polo bottles of this style I just wish they had mental caps.... If you're tried this but not the new 'Oud' go put yoyr nose on it, you won't be disappointed! For me this is an 8/10 - Losing one point for versatility and another for a a slight lack of performance (doesn't project for more than an hour or so). In saying that, this perfume wasn't designed to fill a room or Last until the week after. It is definitely an intimate type perfume. Worth a sniff!! Great stuff

Total agreement with the guy below me! Absolutely great perfume, I hesitated on this while it was available. I've been able to grab a a back up bottle! This is smooth, Creamy, Beautiful, Sexy. This and Polo Oud are 10/10 (in their categories). So Fall though to Spring these are perfect. Inoffensive and smell great. 10/10 for me as a cooler weather fragrance. This is to Supreme Oud what Tom Ford's Noir Anthracite is to the original Noir EDP. Takes the original's personality and amplifies the opening with a fizzy bergamot note. (yes, Noir EDP has bergamot in the top, but to me, it's almost buried under all the florals) What is amazing to me is how Carlos Benaim was able to construct Supreme Cashmere with completely different notes than he used with Supreme Oud, yet at the same time, create a scent that is very much in the same family. I may have found my signature.

This is my favorite out of the 3. Whoever clicked dislike obviously didn't try it. It might not be the most amazing fragrance in the world but it smells pleasant. I think the long dislike bar here is because people dislike the idea of it and to be fair so do I lol. But just because you dont like the idea of it does not mean it smells bad. The other reason is because of its limited distribution, it doesnt have a chance to garner more loves and likes, but please do not trust the dislike bar.

A soft, woody, & powdery scent that is just beautiful! It's difficult to describe as no note take the center stage. Everything is well balanced. It's smells like an ambery cashmere note with a mild hint of sweet vanilla & the powdery aspect of orris. It's really good, safe, & inoffensive. My 2nd favorite after Polo Oud. from the Polo Supreme line. A big like!

I love this one and when I layer it with the other two supremes they work together beautiful. But I love the sweetness of this fragrance and I think is the smoothest of the three. I love this fragrance and it lasts a long time on my skin. this one makes me smile.

Why this was discontinued I don't know... Back up bottle secured and wish I could get another it's that good.... the opening through to the drydown is great, blissful 😊 Now do a Myyrh fragrance!!

I don't know what cashmere is supposed to smell like, but my God this is a beautiful scent!

Ralph Lauren Polo Supreme Cashmere Men EDP opens with a moderate projection of incense, myrrh, and cashmeran. The opening is light, dark, smoky, resinous, and very pleasant. The bergamot is a brief and ephemeral touch, it comes and leaves; the incense and myrrh are prominent notes although soft as opposed to intense, they create a smoky and sweet resinous note. The orris and cardamom are just a soft aromatic and spicy touch; the cashmeran, adds a projecting, warm woody and ambery note. Except for the bergamot, the fragrance is linear, the opening projection is moderate but the fragrance loses intensity very quickly. Once Ralph Lauren Polo Supreme Cashmere Men EDP has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate to low projection, incense, myrrh, and cashmeran fragrance with soft spicy accords. The fragrance feels casual, churchy, classy, dark, diluted, elegant, exotic, faint, mature masculine, nocturnal, resinous, slightly sweet, versatile, woody, and pleasant. BATCH REVIEWED: 2020 WOW RATING: 6/10. This is a good but faint scent. DISLIKE RATING: 4/10. The incense, myrrh, and cashmere are prominent notes. UNIQUENESS: 6/10. Amouage Epic Man is a smoky, woody, and warm spicy fragrance; Amouage Jubilation XXV Man features frankincense, spices, and woods; Azzaro Pour Homme EDT is a great, strong, mature, leather, very spicy, woody and green fragrance; Guerlain Bois Mysterieux is a great balsamic, myrrh, and white leather fragrance; Pasha Cartier EDT is a soft projection, lavender, spicy, woody and mossy fragrance; Zaharoff Signature Pour Homme is a great sweet resinous, incense, woody, spicy, and green fragrance; Ralph Lauren Polo Supreme Cashmere is a soft incense, myrrh, and cashmeran fragrance. SUMMARY: A moderate to low projection, incense, myrrh, and cashmeran fragrance with soft spicy accords. Ordered a sample of this and glad I did. I love cashmere and cardamom is my favorite note. But this smells like an oud cashmere mix. Light on the oud but you still smell it. I don’t really get cardamom it’s not standing out. It’s very fleeting you smell it when u first spray it for maybe 10-15 minutes then it’s gone. This scent is weak it’s not strong. So it’ll best best suited for spring nights or autumn days, autumn nights would be to cool for this. It’s not strong enough to cut through any cool or cold weather. If you like this smell it may be better to get the supreme oud by polo because the performance is better and they smell very very similar. It’s almost as if supreme cashmere isthe original scent and polo Supreme oud is a more intense flanker. They are all overpriced and discontinued so the prices will continue to go up. The only one worth the current price IMO is the polo supreme leather.It’s not a terrible scent it’s just not worth the price

Simple and elegant. A sweet talcum powder mixed with a musky soft suede tone. There s some classical designer cardamom vibe from La Nuit/Ch Men Prive etc. The Cashmeran is velvety and reminds me of a highly diluted Black Afghano/Carner B Cuirs DNA. Unisex leaning masculine. All weather. Formal/Dressed up. Its a refined, subtle and easy to wear scent. In line with high end designer range not particularly artisanal. The citrus accords last a few minutes without making much of an impression. The drydown is mainly damp and sweet wooden furniture. Comforting.

I like it, it's a good fragrance BUT it has a thick synthetically sweet smell that I can't seem get used to. It was a blind buy and I personally wouldn't have purchased it if I had smelled a sample of it. I might get used to it in the next week or so, but we'll see. I'll revisit this with an edit and time stamp of what I think about it in the near future. As of now I feel the scent as a 6.7/10.

Everything about this is average. Smelled good though. It leans more mascara but I can see some ladies can also pull it off. Those ladies who rock things like CHANEL 5 would probably enjoy this. Not saying they smell the same just the realm of these fragrances. I mentioned that this is not something that I reach for at all or even think about it. For me, it's very forgettable.

The initial spray is synthetic and somewhat sharp, but once settled, it becomes a pleasant, creamy, amber/orris accord accented with a good dose of myrrh and cardamom. The hint of Orientalism probably excludes this from being a safe blind buy for the usual Macy's/Polo crowd. Still, a welcome (if unusual) release from the house of Ralph Lauren, unfortunately discontinued.

This smells expensive and niche. Has powerful longevity but short projection. Opens with medicinal oriental vibe then a strong synthetic cashemran/ambrox vibe takes over but it is more musky and powdery rather than woody. All in all a good fragrance for the price.

Very nice, relatively smooth, niche-leaning one from RL. My only complaint is an attendant isopropyl alcohol accord, which may well be the result of an adulterant added by the decanter of the sample I received. If not for that note, this would be a 9/10.

I'd like to try this one out myself, but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere in the U.S. as of now. Big fan of the other two (Oud and Leather).

The first "newer" Polo that I don't really like much at all right off the bat. The original Polo (green) isn't quite my thing either, but it's an OG and acts like an OG so I ain't mad at it, and I at least like it long after spray when the harshness wears off. But this one, I don't like it, it's a little harsh and sweet in a way that so far doesn't mesh well for me. I can't really pin down exactly which note/notes I don't like, or if it's just the combo of notes that don't seem to go well with each other, or the note ratio etc... I've only sprayed on me once though, and only bought an atomizer of it for like $11 since I wasn't sure I'd like the type of fragrance in general and specifically this one, and so far I'm glad I didn't go for the bottle. I'll see in time though, it may grow on me in a better season to wear it (not now in summer obvz, but wanted to at least smell it).. **On a side note, the new Polo Cologne Intense (the OG's stepson), is freaking awesome in my opinion. I love it. I also LOVE the whole blue line, and some of the Red line for cooler weather mostly. And Polo Earth is amazing. So generally I love the Polo frags.. But this one wasn't quite my Jammie jam. It certainly has performance and projection, so no worries there unless you simply don't like it, then it's time to feel self conscious for a few hours.

Smelt this yesterday. Nope! Absolutely no! Smells like sh*t. I own 2/3 of the supreme collection. Thought maybe I would own all 3. This one would never make my collection. It smells foul and overall never something I'd buy. Quite unpleasant smell to my nose.

I tried it 3 times already and hated it every time, sorry! It smells like medicine to me. Very unpleasant. I can see people who are into leather stuff may like it. I get the vibe. Dry-down smells a bit better.

Just got this in the mail I don’t like it, it smells like Prada L’Homme intense if anyone wants to buy a brand new bottle holla at me!

The immediate, intial spray reminds me some of PI by givenchy. I say remind, because supreme cashmere is much more controlled and refined than PI ever thought of being. Both are synthetic, but PI is garishly loud and saccharine sweet. After that initial blast supreme cashmere is woody, creamy, even a bit musty, musky. I think of being in a library on a cool, breezy rainy day surrounded by old books, lounging in an oversized chair, sweater on, breeze blowing through the open windows. I dont get a lot of smokiness. I pick up a tobacco vibe, and i pick up some of the dna of supreme leather and oud. Ralph Lauren is 3 for 3 in its supreme line. Cashmere is such a hit because it simply smells incredible, but is not loud. Unbelievably versatile, can be worn in all seasons except the hottest of summer days. I constantly search this out to smell throughout the day. Longevity is ok, average, same with sillage. I think that is a strength here, because this scent is excellent for date night and close encounters. Your signficant other (mine at least) will nuzzle up to you and say "wow, you smell REALLY REALLY good". I have ch men prive and le male essence (the rose gold can and purple bottle). I enjoy them both but I prefer supreme cashmere moreso, and its in the same vein as those 2 in my opinion. I will always own, and prices have finally started to come down on the grey market sites. I paid 100 bucks for mine, and it was money well spent.

Supreme Cashmere is an oud musk. The fragrance begins with smooth aromatic accord strongly reminiscent of Polo Supreme Oud. You get a very sweet, well-tapered Indian oud, with a soft body of musks underneath, and an accord of incense resins (that seem to use bakery spices to round them out). It's all incredibly well-blended. The tone is smooth as butter—and the notes show no harsh tenacity whatsoever. The tenderness here almost makes the fragrance feel feminine-styled—but it's still a bold, pungent fragrance with the oud. So only by deep discretion, and overall still something very accustom to special tastes. Even for lovers of the style, this seems specially tailored for a well-mannered, sophisticated individual. Not even just any oud fan. I think you'll really have to have a tender heart to enjoy this one (with all its softness and sweetness). The fragrance is incredibly powerful, so just a tiny bit is going to do a lot for you. Strongly recommended to apply with caution. And one closing note—the fragrance is a touch simple. So more akin to the kind of man that makes the suit—and not existing as any kind of suit that makes the man.

I have supreme oud & supreme leather,Therefore bought a 10 ml decant of this for next to nothing in 2020 & then thought I hated it..By oh how our taste does change! I think my taste changed toward the note of cashmere simply after hating on MFK Oud Cashmere mood I fell in love with it after it was discontinued!! I unable to review some things as well as others ,But the comments I see are spot on & after revisiting my fairly large sample of this I see this is a designer worth getting ahead of many Niche fragrances I currently have my eyes on..The one time I wore this a few years ago my wife loved it & the other day wearing the same old sample my wife said she loved whatever I had on & out of my almost 300 fragrances I don’t get a lot of that..This is a good one at 100ml worth seeking out still.

i dont know whats going on with people these days and bashing fragrances before they come out. tried it today at sephora. smells nothing like aventus. its quiet linear. it starts with a tad bit of citrus and quickly dies down and you get a nice cashmere note that reminds me a bit of versace man, the purple bottle. the cashmere is very smooth and its mixed with almost a pipe tobacco note. i was sure there would be pipe tobacco note listed but i guess its the incense and cardamom mixed together. nice smooth warm drydown perfect for fall i would say.performance is pretty good but i wasnt blown away. out of the three i prefer supreme leather then oud then this. Update: I was totally wrong about the performance. my room still smells like this stuff after just two sprays on my jacket 3 days ago.

In late November of 2020, I caught Covid-19 (alpha strain, the original). I came through it okay for the most part, and to date have not had the the issues with sense of smell that a lot of the covid long haulers report having... until I came across this fragrance. It has the smell of a doctor's office to it; medical grade disinfectant, combined with ash. I thought I was losing my mind when I got a sample of this fragrance, because everybody around me told me it smelled AWESOME. Women around me loved it, but the smell of it made me want to run screaming. Leave it to me to find what I thought was going to be a perfect date-night fragrance, just to wind up finding the one fragrance that triggers that "everything smells like burned ash" quality. :-(

I've still not seen this in stores in the UK (not that I've looked very thoroughly) but considering it came out last year you'd think it would be. I've been pleasantly surprised by the Polo lines 'Luxury' output, the leather one was pretty good and the Oud one was excellent. It's not often I post a comment here unless it's a review but when the notes or concept of a fragrance grabs me, it compels me to comment without having sampled yet. I think cashmerean is a great modern ingredient, warm, cozy slightly powdered and ethereal and the notes of myrrh, cardamom and orris surrounding it in here sound like Supreme Cashmere is going to be a winner. I will update this with a review when I've tried it...can't wait.

A hypocritical blind buy, which I truly regret, but that’s absolutely on me. I don’t really get the impression or feel of cashmere from this. There’s a sharp, chemical quality about it—I imagine this is the ambroxan—that never fails to give me a headache or make my eyes water slightly. Dior Sauvage has this very same effect on me. I get a down market dry woody amber, but no orris, myrrh, or real incense. There’s also a bit of a synthetic oud quality to the opening and dry down that rubs me the wrong way. I confess to not being an oud person. Personally, I think it’s a bit overpriced and over-hyped for what it really smells like: a $20 knockoff of a much better fragrance.

This is fucking beautiful. It deserves more attention but I kinda like the gatekeeping here. Pretty surprised RL released this. So cozy, so warm yet somehow clean, inviting. Not a gourmand but on the outskirts of it. There's some fragrance MSG here that makes you wanna keep going for whiffs. Someone mentioned cream soda, yeeeeaaaah I can stretch it to that. But aside from the initial nail polish vibe (unless my sample guy is cheeky and cheated in some perfumers alc) it's a beautifully blended, smooth resin, sexy date scent. The orris does more here than it gets credit for. This one's true magic is on a scarf or a jacket rather than on skin. Reserved, rounded, sexy.

THIS SMELLS NOTHING LIKE AVENTUS. However I really like the scent. It smells warm and clean. Sorta like putting your nose up to fresh laundry out of the dryer, specifically a wool or cashmere sweater. Definitely more of an everyday scent. A lot safer and easier to wear than the other Supreme fragrances. I don't get much citrus out of this either, as the votes show. Overall it's a really solid scent. If you're into clean sort of fragrances, with some warmness added, you'll enjoy this one. Kind of too expensive imo though.

The Polo Supreme fragrances have been quite interesting.. I definitely really like the bottle design of this new Polo Supreme Cashmere.. The note breakdown looks quite interesting to! As far as Cashmere goes, I am not a huge fan of this specific note because sometimes "Cashmeran" comes off a bit cheap & synthetic smelling to my nose.. I am however still looking forward to trying this fragrance out as the overall note breakdown looks interesting..

Fragrantica should ban users who hit the dislike button on new scents like this before they've smelled the fragrance! With that being said, I can't wait to smell this. I recently bought Polo Supreme Oud and I can't take my nose off of it! An instant top 5 scent, and if that's any indicator, this sounds AMAZING! Then again, Supreme Leather was a bit of a let down, so I guess we'll see!

Currently testing a decant and definitely feel a strong resemblance to ferrari Essence Amber, with some Armani Myrrhe Imperiale thrown in. I must be partially osmonic t cashmeran, becaus eit doesnt seem to last long but projects well. I dont detect any incense, which is disappointing. The myrrh is good but overall has a synthetic feel with an ambrox-ish harshness.

All the spam voting could easily be reduced if the voters name was shown. I know there are people in the trade receiving preview samples but being professionals I doubt they will go online rating an unreleased fragrance. Eager to try this. Seeing it compared to Versace man gives me hope BUT: As long its the vintage Versace man and not the reformulation that is watered down. Love both supreme oud and leather and am anxious to get my hands on this as well.

Smells like cream soda. Creamy from the orris, fizzy from the cashmeran, sweet cola from the myrrh. A slight bite of spice from the cardamom. Cream soda in a bottle. Well...a different kind of bottle.

is this out yet? It must be if people are saying it reminds them of Aventus. Maybe one of them can offer up a review. Cause, after all, how can it remind you of anything if you haven't smelled it yet?

Tried today at harrods, awesome scent perfect for spring but stays close to the skin. For £125 probably not worth money but pleasant to smell on oneself.

I think is a cross between polo supreme leather ,polo supreme oud and prada l'homme intense.Very nice warm scent

Reminds me of BLK afgano..a enjoyable winter scent.
