Ralph Love

Thank you Ralph Lauren for this perfume! It is refreshing, sweet and crisp. The apple is a tart green apple, the rose is subtle, and the cotton candy is sweet without being obnoxious. It's so lovely to find a scent that has not been loaded with white florals, a heap pepper, or wood notes. There is no pear here either, and after accidentally blind buying a few feminine perfumes loaded with pear, that was a huge relief! It reminds me a bit of watermelon, too--a subtle watermelon. I like what I like, and I am a bit tired of overly complicated, masculine scents; patchouli bombs; citrus perfumes and so on. I like my simple fruity feminine scents, thank you very much! This is one note--to some it would be super generic--and that is what I absolutely adore about it. It is not trying to be anything it is not. Ralph Love is simply a lovely, refreshing, crisp, feminine apple and cotton candy perfume. It is also wonderful to find a light, refreshing perfume perfect for summer that has zero citrus too for those of us averse to citrus. I am absolutely obsessed with it.

I just recently discovered this perfume and immediately blind bought it as I'm a big fan of Ralph Lauren perfumes. OMG.... I am in LOVE! It initially smells very similar to the original 'Ralph' perfume however this one is sweeter and warmer. The cotton candy is subtle but gives the fragrance a sweet, flirty and warm vibe. The red apple is sweet and fruity and the rose lingers in the background. All the notes blend perfectly! It makes me feel girly and youthful. Ralph Love lasts around 5-6 hours on my skin and has moderate sillage. This has much better lasting power than the original from my experience. Overall, an absolutely GORGEOUS perfume. Perfect fragrance for casual days or day time dates. I am going to buy a few back up bottles in case they discontinue this!

This is another sweet treat from Ralph Lauren's line of perfumes. It's a very youthful sweet scent. The note I think stands out the most is the Cotton Candy. If you smell the rose under, it's sugary. The apple? Dipped in sugar. Don't get me wrong, the underlying notes dance under the sway of the bubbly pop that is the cotton candy note.It's not going to be deep, complex, or complicated. This is straight up a fun little sugar bomb. This is the kind of thing you wear if you want to be girly. We can't be all rocking Shalimar's floor length fur coat so why not go for the mini skirt of perfumes.

Aah,so enjoyable scent! Reminds a lot of original Ralph, but that doesn't bother me at all,beacause I love it too. Maybe this is a little bit warmer and more "heartly" scent than original.Red apple is such delicious with cotton candy,and rose adds to romantic feel to it. Ralph Love isn't too overwhelming,but last on my skin about 10+ hours and still remains recognizable. I could sniff and just admire this all day long! One of my all time favourites.

Blind bought it. At first spray, I thought: "regret". Because it was really, really fresh and so light that it disappointed me. I was hoping for something sweeter given the notes... But, then I waited a little and it started to show its' charms. You have to be patient with this, so it can show all the potential it has. It turns into a lovely slightly sweet and delicious combination. It lasts a lot!! So far, 12 hours and still going strong!

I haven't been a fan of Ralph Lauren fragrances since the good old days of Ralph ROCKS and Ralph HOT. But this fragrance has changed my mind! Each of the three notes are so realistic. Crisp apple, fresh rose and sweet cotton candy all gently mingle. It's a skin scent, as to be expected from an EDT, but it still performs. Will garner compliments!

This is so yummy! It smells like the original with an added dose of strawberry and watermelon. A definite winner for me. If you like Ralph and fresh fruity perfumes you will like it. It sort of smells like watermelon cordial. Actually if you remember there was a Ralph version called cool back in the day? It is a bit like that. Hope this helps.

I was really hoping to smell the cotton candy, anything that is sweet but no, it's a crisp fresh clean scent. I don't know why other reviewers say this is a sugary sweetness, it's almost just as the same ralph Lauren scent, which sucks. There's is no loove, or even a gourmand twist to it.

I am madly in love with this wonderful perfume, and it smells fantastic on my skin! And, of cause I have a back-up bottle of this nice perfume =))

Imagine the original Ralph Lauren "Ralph," but drenched in nondescript, ultra girly sugar syrup. I don't find any warmth of freshly spun cotton candy. This is not a "cozy autumn night" kind of cotton candy. Just plain ole' sugar. Ultimately, the apple - I imagine green, tart apple - is front and center though, keeping the fragrance fresh and zippy. My nose can't detect any floral or rose note. Honestly, I don't think this scent is different enough from the original to part with the extra cash. It also doesn't have the longevity of the original, as the scent barely hung on to the tester strip after a few minutes. Verdict: This is a good scent to feel cute and girly for warmer months, something you'd splash on before a date or movie. It's super sweet with zesty apple, but not strong enough to be offensive or headache inducing.

I'm actually really amazed at how "drugstore" this smells to my nose. I can smell a vague fruity sweetness, but the note that I pick up on the most is the rose which puts me in a minority. I agree that this smells a lot like a fruity shampoo from the 90s and it projects more like body mist. It's a pleasant "good" smell, but there's nothing about this that is blowing me away which is too bad because this scent looked really interesting on paper. To me, the cotton candy accord smells more just like extra soapy sweetness and the apple comes out as just generic fruit with pectin (green apple, red apple, pear, guava, etc). Silage - soft Longevity - soft to moderate Scent impression - clean & soapy, rose, and more of a generic "fruity" rather than clearly apple.

It’s weird cause some people get original Ralph with this but others get exactly what you would think you would get by looking at the pyramid. I thankfully am in the later group. Apple, rose and cotton candy. Very vividly. I first purchased this when I started my fragrance journey 7 years ago but wasn’t into sweet cotton candy scents so I gave it away. But like most my tastes changed and lately I am craving cotton candy in perfumes! This was the first to come to mind so I purchased another bottle (idiot) and it smells just as I remembered. Apple, rose and cotton candy! Nothing else. Longevity is great which is hard to find these days so just an added bonus! I love Love!!

This is basically original Ralph with rose added. A simple, youthful fruity-floral for spring and summer. I don't get any cotton candy from this until much later in the dry down, and even then it's just a hint. Despite being a bit let down (given what I was expecting from the notes), I'm a fan of the OG so I do like this, but I fully agree with the reviews saying you don't need both in your collection. As for spring/summer-appropriate cotton candy perfumes, when I want that vibe I'll probably be reaching for Wonderland Peony over this. Also very curious to try Byredo Sundazed.

Ooh la-la! What I like most is it'll last all day. But besides that, it's quite the surprise how orginal Ralph becomes mostly cotton candy, with a hint of fruit mixed in. And all in a matter of 5-10 minutes! Cotton will stand out most, but dry down is basically original Ralph after hours. Lastly, I like it, not love. I suppose I like it a little more than I did ralph. You'll have the best of both worlds-- few hours of lots of sweet with a little bit of Ralph & then just Ralph after hours of wearing this....

I simply love Love, not for any romantic motive but just because it has that universal beautiful love note in it. How could I describe it? Good vibes, positive energy, warm heart. I would wear this in my work in kindergarten. Love is sweet without being too pink, too naive, and the apple brings nice crisp fruity note in it. Many times apple note smells plastic in my skin, but combined with cotton candy and rose it works well. I think I need this, in the gloomy October weather!

This is a good perfume for people who get migraines easily. It's very soft and easy on the nose. I kinda like this at first but the longetivity is very poor and sometimes in the end it smells like last nights cocktail, maybe it's the weather or my skin because it doesn't happen everytime. I think this is a good simple summer/spring scent to wear at work or the gym.

This is a lovely fragrance that reminds me of the Ralph Lauren perfumes that I love (Wild, Cool). It's a very sweet smell, and works well on me (I'm 31). I wear this to the office and just for daily use. It lifts my spirits if I feel down. I love 'Love'!

Very simple smell, like a Pantene or Garnier shampoo with some rose added in. Perfect to wear to the gym or fresh out of the shower. A really simple clean apple scent

Light, sweet, and cute. It doesn't stand out, but it's pleasant and won't give you a headache. I'll use up my bottle, but don't plan to buy another.

It comes in like a rose and leaves with confectionery scent then it's just gone in a hurry. Like a quickie in a way but not as memorable. Meh...

Meh... If you own the original you do not need this one. I purchased the travel size to test it out and I wasn't amazed. This is a softer version of the original. Instead of being a sharp aquatic perfume, this is more sweet and feminine. You get a nice sweet apple note and a faint note of cotton candy. I also detect the rose in this. It's not overpowering at all. I don't regret buying this 8ml travel size because I can just throw it in my purse and refresh throughout the day. Especially if I can't fit the full size bottle of the original in there. The lasting power is poor but I wasn't expecting much to be honest. It basically smells like a body mist to me.

Lol this one is cheeky.... I think it's fair to say that the notes are misleading - This is the original Ralph but with added notes I'd say. You just get a cooked sugar sweetness and a hint of rosiness. It's still very much original Ralph! You 100% don't need both perfumes!

Meh. Nothing special. Just a shampoo type of rose scent.No fruit or candy on me. I'm disappointed. There are much better scents in the same genre that cost much less.

A very sweet scent overall. A pink and fluffy 'perfume' that will appeal to girly girls no doubt. However there are just just three notes. No real florals, no woods or anything else to balance and add depth to the composition and to make it more long lasting. I simply dont understand why Ralph Lauren discontinued unique and wonderful scents like Blue, Glamorous, RL Rocks and RL Cool. Those were the scents that were a real hit in my country and just a couple of years later after they were launched they were pulled off the shelf and were discontinued. Those scents also had longevity. These days it happens to be the bottle that catches the eye but once you press the spray you then realise the juice itself is all watered down and all disappears within 2 hours be it an EDT or a EDP. I have experienced this with at least 95% of new releases in the past 5 years and it seems to be getting worse. That is the extent of the modern commercial perfume world today unfortunately!

I just got this perfume. I ordered it off of Sephora. This perfume is not what I thought it was going to be. Maybe I should stop blind buying perfumes just to review them on youtube. I also wanted this perfume for the cotton candy, but there is nothing cotton candy about this perfume. I feel like they marketed this perfume wrong. There is nothing special about this perfume it's been done way too many times. Yes it is similar to the original, but they aren't 100% the same. I was really hoping for a intensive cotton candy, I smell it a little when it dries down, but I still smell the red apple the most. What I do smell is a intensive red apple, similar apple that's in the original. At times I smell maybe a slight white amber, and a slight rose. To me there is nothing Love about this perfume. To me this is more Fresh like the original, and like last years Ralph Fresh. I really had high hopes for this one.

I just got the February issue of Latina in the mail, And this perfume is featured in this issue. It says this perfume also has amber in it. I wanted to know if anyone could confirm that, because I was planning on buying this perfume soon. I've been debating getting the 30, or 100ml. I know Sephora has this online right now, and the magazine says Macy's will have it as well. I wanted this perfume, because of the cotton candy, and red apple, and yes I am concerned how the rose will play out in this perfume, now I'm concerned if there is amber in this perfume if I will even like it at all. It depends on how intensive the amber is. Now I'm really unsure it's hard to throw out $76 on a 100ml blind buying this perfume, but I also hate settling on a 30ml for $42. What to do what to do....

I feel like this fragrance draws elegance from its simplicity - I never thought I'd say that about notes like these. 'Love' doesn't feel childish to me, at all. As a few others have mentioned, I too detect an almost 'candied watermelon/strawberry' vibe in the opening. After a while it very obviously becomes red apple laced with warm sugar, with the rose keeping it somewhat fresh and vibrant whilst adding some depth. So far the longevity and sillage and both average to good, it's currently Summer here and this little beauty has taken me by surprise. For what it's worth, it's quite a unique scent that performs better than expected - 8/10!

I adore this scent. Even though the notes may seem generic, I haven't smelled anything quite like it. Like the other reviewers have said, it is truly a happy, pink scent. I love the crispness of the apple and the sweetness of the cotton candy. I usually dislike rose as a note but it is very pretty and light in this fragrance. Lasts a really long time when sprayed in my hair or on clothing. Great for work and my classes, since it is so inoffensive but lovely.

It is real nice but also simplistic , fresh juicy, sweet I can see young girls liking it lots!! Or anybody who feels like wearing a fresh sweet easy to wear perfume Nothing outstanding but it smells nice enough Longevity isn't great though .Kind of predictable and typical fresh ralph scent I will add there are worse scents out there !!!

I have had this perfume since it first came out and got it because I love the original so much whenever I wear it I get compliments and ask what it is and usually people have never even heard of it but it has been my signature scent and getting kind of hard to find now I would like to find something that is similar if possible

I felt it on the tape, and it smells like the traditional one. I checked with the salesgirl if she had not sprinkled the traditional one, but the test was done even with Love. I was disappointed because I am the crazy of the gourmands, and I thought that the cotton candy would leave the fragrance a little sugary.

Smells exactly like the original with a cool candy watermelon notes added to it its nice but I was expecting a magical elixir of sweet red apples and cotton candy balanced with notes of fresh red roses but sadly that's not how it is !!!!!!! Thank God for testers :) lol

This sounded amazing in theory, but my decant is too sharp and tart for me. It's not as lovely and balanced as Angel EDT 2019 but not as sharp and gross as Britney Spears' Fantasy. This is like a fruity shampoo but not as good.

sweet juicy apple, with a hint of roses and some cotton candy to add the right sweetness to it. thats all. this is a simple lovely, girly scent. the note is what exactly youll get.

Can anyone compare this cotton candy based perfume to: Delicious Cotton Candy by Gale Hayman or Flowerbomb's Nectar Both of these smell like cotton candy.

I like this.... It's a light, sweet fragrance. It's very simple. I think this scent would be great for girls between the ages of 10-15.

Smells like a fruity Herbal Essences shampoo. Clean, cute, girly. Nothing groundbreaking and very similar to the orginal
