Ralph's Club Parfum

I got hammered last night and woke up in the morning as an owner of this bottle and a few other fragrances I got from Macy's. Haven't paid full retail for a bottle in like a year, although this one wasn't on the receipt and had a tester sticker on it, guess I stole it idk who cares. When I went into my kitchen and opened the fridge I had 4 half eaten appetizers from the diner and was very very happy about it because I was dying and needed unhealthy food immediately. I had 4 chicken wings, calamari, 2 mozzarella sticks and a salad (wtf who eats salad when they're drunk?). I only had water to drink which was nice because I drank 2 liters the second I waddled my way into the kitchen and felt rejuvenated. I went back to my room and took a shower, got dressed and smelled the fragrances I bought. I put on this one and went to the grocery store and bought more food. I got cheese and eggs and chicken and salami and franks red hot and Diet Pepsi. When I got home I put the food in my kitchen, went upstair and turned on Netflix. I put on Den Of Thieves, great movie. About 15 minutes later I remembered I I had food downstairs that I forget deal with. I went downstairs and took everything back upstairs with me, forgetting to bring napkins. I sprawled the food on my table and ate everything, I literally ate all of it in one shot by the time the movie was over. Its a good thing I work out like a demon every day otherwise I would be 700 pounds and would have a tough time getting to Macy's to steal testers. All eyes would be on me and I wouldn't be able to sneak anything into my sleeve. After date everything my girlfriend came over to discuss our trip to Japan for New Years. We just finished our semesters and I just arranged it so I dont have to work again until January 22nd. Im in civil engineering and she is in finance. I own a few buildings in NY right outside of the city so she will work for me when she graduates. Im in school because it will be far easier for me and my brother to get big general contracting jobs from the government if one of us is structural engineer so I decided to sacrifice myself for the cause. My girlfriend just turned 20. The cologne is very good, I saw 2 people at the grocery store and they said I smelled amazing, my girlfriend said I smelled amazing when she came over. I will be home all day doing nothing except consuming as many calories as possible and sleep and play with my colognes and watch Netflix and hang out and probably smoke a few cuban davidoffs my brother brought back from his vacation. Honestly guys I'm more of a Dominican tobacco fan than cuban and idk why. My favorite cigars are montecristo espada estoque's. They're very heavy, full bodied and extremely smooth. I just remembered I need to get a few things for Christmas because everyone is coming over my house this year. I have a nice. I'm gunna go to the store, buy wine, beer, whiskey and some other stuff impulsively. I also just remembered I need to visit a teacher I had last semester to bring him his Christmas gift. He's a very good man and a hot shot engineer for the county. He's the deputy director of something I wont say because I dont wanna dox him or anything. Ok im gunna go spray my Ralph's Club Perfume and go do my stuff. I will only spray a little so I can keep reapplying it whenever I get out of the car so its very noticeable but not aggressive. I like this cologne alot. I can wear this anytime anywhere any weather. Ok I need to go find my keys and cologne and go do stuff. Have a good day and I love you.

I received my sample earlier this week. For transparency, it was sent to me by Influenster (a .02 oz./.8ml sample). I am not paid for my reviews, so this in no way affects my opinion. I must admit that I'm really not a big fan of the EDP. When I saw I was going to sample and review Ralphs Club my reaction was, "Boring!" But after realizing it was a new flanker, with some interesting scent notes, I was much more excited. I've only been wearing it a few hours, and can't comment on longevity yet. My initial impressions: What happens when you mix Ralph's Club (EDP) with Eros (EDT)? Ralph's Club Parfum! For the first hour I got heavy Eros vibes. Likely due to the apple and citrus top notes and cedar and vetiver base notes that the two fragrances share. Silage-wise it is not in the same ball-park as Eros or my other favorite blue, Yves Saint Laurent Y EDP. It's decent though. It would make a great casual, office, or date scent. If you're looking for something to assault other people's senses and draws in compliments (aren't we all?), this may not be strong enough for you. With enough sprays it still may be a club contender, unfortunately I don't have enough in my sample to test this out. I'll be sure to post more later today or tomorrow, with my updated opinion after re-applying it at lunch and making it through the rest of the work day. UPDATED NOTES: I like it a lot. Longevity isn't great, but it isn't bad. As far as the fragrance goes, last night I sprayed the back of one hand with Eros, one hand with Y, and resprayed both my inner elbows/arms with the new Ralphs Club. It is actually a little closer to Y than Eros, but woodier and has lavender. Unfortunately it has nowhere near the silage and longevity of Y, or Eros for that matter. I really wish it was stronger, I think I like it better than Y. Blind buy safe for most guys (young or old). A WEEK LATER: So I ordered a bottle, it should be here today! I'm actually really excited. It's so good. It's a bit stronger than I initially gave it credit for as well. I do like it better than Y, but I still think I like Eros more. I just LOVE that Eros mint, maybe they will make a minty Ralph's Club flanker. Something else worth noting, I wore the last of my sample of Ralph's Club EDP today, so that when the Parfum arrives I can wear it right away without having it clash. As soon as she walked in the room my girlfriend commented on how great I smelled. Maybe I didn't give that one enough credit. I don't know though, it doesn't quite do it for me.

I find the most apt metaphor about Ralph’s Club Parfum and comparing it to the EDP, if you happen to be an amateur audiophile like myself, would be like reissuing a universally reviled album with a slightly tweaked track list and a revelatory re-mixing job. Not to say RCP turns out to be anything unique in the overcrowded world of blue fragrances designed for maximum appeal, as BdC, Sauvage, Y EDP/Parfum and a thousand Invictus Aqua clones have already stripped that goldmine for all it’s worth. Ralph Lauren is late to the game here, without a doubt. All that aside...it smells f*cking great. Think something like the original RC with the sparkling “apple” top note of Y EDP, and the lavender/sage/vetiver combo intertwining with an “amber woods” musky marine base, kinda like what they’ve been doing with the Polo Blue flankers. Is it unique? No. Will it get you noticed? Probably not, although projection and longevity are on par with other parfum strength designers. Will you get compliments? Yes! It’s inoffensive and fresh. If you’re in the market for a versatile all-rounder, something that will get you from the office to date night with ease, you could do much MUCH worse. It’s blind buy worthy if you loved the EDP, but even if you hated Ralph’s Club with a passion, I highly highly recommend sampling it. The parfum is much smoother, more mature and such a huge improvement over its predecessor that it’s hard not to wonder why the EDP was even released! Ultimately, Ralph’s Club may be just a drop of water in an ocean of deep blue smell-alikes, but I think it deserves to stand shoulder to shoulder with the giants of the genre, when all is said and done. Better late than never, RL. 9.0/10.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite pickups of '22. I'm completely shocked at the quality of the juice coming from the house of Ralph Lauren! Smooth, smooth, smooth. Everything is blended so well. To me, this comes across as a rich, mature, sweet, aromatic flanker of YSL's Y line (which makes sense, given it's the same perfumer). That familiar Y green apple acts like the spine that holds everything up and together, only going away in the far, far drydown. If there's one thing that irks me about Ralph's Club Parfum, it's that cardamom is listed nowhere in the official note breakdown. It's been mentioned in promotional material as "cardamom infused lavender oil", and that's exactly what I get right off the top. It opens as a cardamom/lavender bomb that is mouth-watering to me, but no mention of it in the actual breakdown? Kind of weird, but it's a nitpick more than anything. I think this is going to become something of a hidden gem in the frag community. It doesn't get talked about much, as already it seems to be written off as a boring "blue" fragrance. Even so, it's one of the better designer blues out there, and if it winds up getting discontinued, I'm buying a bunch of back-up bottles. Signature scent worthy.

People will bag me for saying this but this is a lot like Phantom edt with a hint of Yves Saint Laurent Y Eau de Parfume in the opening, a-lot more like Phantom edt in the opening but turns deeper woody and spicy in the dry-down with the vetiver and cedar and big hit of lavender and citrus in the opening and can pick up on the orange blossom that keeps it fresh with the apple and grapefruit. Don't be worried if you don't like phantom as it changes pretty quick or if you do like phantom you will love this one guaranteed as they both have citrus and vetiver. Safe blind buy if you like phantom edt or ysl, it smells great and projects really well for the first few hours then sits an arms length for up to 7 to 8 hours. This could be my new favourite for this summer but can be worn all year round with the depth it has. Yes i said phantom a lot 😉 Also layers well with Yves Saint Laurent Y Eau de Parfume that gives it a fresher sweeter blend as it has a similar sent profile while still having a deeper dry down. I really like to layer a lot of my fragrances as it's a bit of fun and you can surprise yourself especially if you have a reasonable collection.

Ralph's Club Parfum is a fresh, aromatic and woody fragrance. The opening is fresh and slightly fruity with a very pleasant smell. Minutes later it becomes more aromatic. Floral accords of lavender, geranium, and other flowers begin to direct the scent of the fragrance. I also detect a slightly spicy, semi-roasted, sweet aroma, like tonka bean or cinnamon, but no spice is listed in the notes. The fragrance has a versatile aroma that could be adapted to any time of the year, for any situation, as it is pleasant and masculine, easy to like, characteristics of fragrances that are now classified as "blues". Its longevity is average, lasting a work day of 8 hours. with a trace of regular to low. In short, Ralph's Club Parfum is a pleasant fragrance that it has liked me more than I expected and is an alternative to other fragrances of this style such as Sauvage EDP, Y Le Parfum, Coach for Men, although I will always advise you to try it on your skin first and thus make the decision about buying it or not.

This fragrance is incredibly bizarre in the most familiar way possible. The entire journey is just impersonating popular fragrances. It starts with ysl y and quickly morphs into Montblanc legend. It stays in the spicy legendish area for a while and then changes again to resemble Valentino uomo born in Roma (salty invictus). That vibe sticks around for a while then the final dry down is Eros. Now I'm not saying that this smells identical to any of the fragrances but I do own them all (minus Eros, Gave that to a friend) and I definitely recognize each vibe in the life span of ralphs club parfum(RCP). Said that, RCP seems to smooth out all the edges and it smells ridiculously good. It is mildly sweet, spicy, and smooth. Definite crowd pleaser and if you have a collection is kind of fun to smell it change through different dnas. All in all good performance smells great and bizarrely familiar. Be conservative on the atomizer, it's pretty potent.

the initial spray is sweet and synthetic like the EDP. However, unlike the EDPs opening, which is sweet and generic, the parfum has the sweetness but with a nice spice that helps balance the opening. Like the EDP, the opening lasts about 5 minutes before the sweetness calms into the dry down. In the EDP, the dry down is sweet with amber woods. In the Parfum, you get a more mature dry-down with vetiver and cedar with an ambary sweetness. The dry-down stays on my skin for about 8+ hours, improving over the 6-7 hours of EDP. Overall, the scent profile is similar to the EDP but has a deeper and more mature profile. I'm not saying a younger man can't wear this, but this is a great scent for anyone 30+. As to what this reminds me of, it's a less loud yet woodier Y EDP from YSL. The Parfum is a significant improvement over the EDP and an excellent pick-up.

Smells better than the EDP, but the performance is atrocious for the price point. I bought into the hype of the EDP, and didn't mind it at first... but now, I can't stand it. This is a much more wearable version that is smooth right out of the gate, but becomes a skin scent rather quickly.... shame. I do think this is a very "safe" and "mass pleasing" scent, but it's forgettable... No none will talk about how great you smell, as it's just not on that level. If you've got your mind set on getting one of the Ralph's Club, go with the Elixir... Much better frag, and the performance is acceptable. I purchased the elixir after sampling it, and fell in love with it. We should all just come to accept, that Ralph Lauren frags aren't known for performance...

I think this smells great and better than lots of other designer fragrances because of its versatility and unique appeal, which I happened to compare with at a store, before I finally decided on it, a few hours later. Who cares about creativity, originality blah blah blah for personal fragrances, you're not sending yourself to a dog show competition to be picked most creative and original scented dog. You love and enjoy the scent, wear it and be happy for yourself for that day. You need to remind yourself of the scent you have on, smell your wrist. You're not buying it to make other people happy, or submit yourself for a artistic designer scent competition... You guys just have to get your priorities right, for yourself.

If you want to simply smell "good", this fragrance is for you. If you want to smell unique or interesting, this fragrance is not for you. It's the "blue" fragrance DNA with a hint of clary sage. Ambery, woody, aromatic, clean. Good performance, I get around 6 hours. Very much improved formulation compared to the EDT and even the EDP. Has much more depth to it compared to those two concentrations (which shouldn't be surprising.) VERY easy to wear, could be worn casually or dressed up. If you're looking to give someone in your life a fragrance as a gift, this would be a good, safe choice. All that being said, it's not very inspiring or unique. Just simply smells good.

My favorite blue style fragrance of all time. Beautiful blend of lavender, apple, florals, and woods. Smoother and surprisingly more fresh than the EDP but also has more of an elegance to it with the added floral notes. You can wear this as a daily driver or even on a night out. Works for all seasons. Moderate projection. Not offensive at all. About 8 hours of longevity on my skin. Gets compared to Y Line but this is so much better and more unique in my opinion. People hate on this and call it boring but the Ralphs Club line was made to compete with other blue style fragrances like BDC, Y, Sauvage, Dylan Blue, etc. and Ralph Lauren did it very well.

This is a great fragrance. Don't listen to the haters and snobs, not everyone is already in their "niche snob" phase in their fragrance journeys. There is plenty of room in the market for a scent like this. This is quintessential designer: likable, wearable, pleasant. It's just a very well blended, cozy, conforting scent, there's nothing to hate here, you can't be expecting bold, outside the box smells, and be looking for it here. If you are, then that's on you, we have to judge a scent based on context and what it's actually trying to be. And I think this nails what it's trying to be perfectly, so that's how I judge it. Great fragrance.

My nose is improving. Excellent grapefruit entrance, not like d&g light blue forever, just fresh citrus. Warms and sweetens as it dries I’m guessing this is the apple and florals. Very fresh and clean. Smooth and creamy woods and cashmeran finish it off. Very well rounded fragrance, high quality ingredients. Definitely Ralph Lauren’s answer to bleu de Chanel. Answer came a few years late, but when you’re making bank on polo why put money in R&D? I think this is a better blue than bleu de Chanel. Smoother and creamier, no smokiness. A++ in my opinion. I have another review with a less refined nose down there somewhere..

I loved the Ralph's Club EDP so I was excited to learn there was a flanker. I had gotten so many complements on it that I had to order the Parfum. I finally saw it offered at Macy's and pulled the trigger immediately on it. I am glad I did! This has very similar to the EDP but much smoother and much more pleasant all around from top to bottom. The longevity is great and the silage is just as good. It isn't beast mode, but I am not a big fan of beast mode frags.. I work in an office and don't want to choke out everyone. This is such a nice fragrance. RL really has something with this new line... worth every penny.

A lot of similarities to Versace Eros EDP. But I’d say a little fresher and not as sweet. A little bit bubble gummy on the opening, with a light spicy aromatic. Kind of like a cinnamon gum. Longevity is average. Good for a night out or a dinner. Could be worn in office with a couple sprays. I usually put on 4-5 and for the first hour it surrounds you. Smells very fresh, not soapy at all. Is it the most unique, no. Is it refreshing, yes. One of the favorites in my collection. Definitely would purchase again.

Excellent upgrade from the EDP,I tried a sample of the EDP and liked it but wasn’t wowed by it and thought it was pricey.The Parfum version is much more complicated with some fresh and fruitiness to go along with the woody scent.I am a big fan of the Polo line with the Green,Black,Double Black,Red and Blue scents ,this is worthy of a signature scent and nice projection.It’s a modern everywhere fragrance that is for the 40 plus set but everyone will find it appealing.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE ❤️ Better than Y anything and one of the best fragrances to come out in recent times. I kept feeling like I smelled something like this before. Even more similar than a Y or blue fragrances in general. Then I remembered... This smells LIKE Fan di Fendi pour Homme Fendi. Upon looking at the notes they both share citrus, cardamom, and woods. Excellent fragrance! Stunningly beautiful. Smells masculine, fresh, and striking. I love it.

Ralph’s Club is blue but it is also violet which I think gives it more sophistication. Yes, true it’s not the usual scent that would give you a gentleman’s club vibe. Imagine a young man in his thirties, successful and confident enough to rub elbows with the more mature and experienced men in the club. First spritz for me smells vaguely familiar but mid to dry, it eventually evokes more character.

This wins the blue battle. Blind Buy Worthy. Pick up the 10 ml at Sephora. I never tried the edp. Beats my Sauvage edp by a mile. My Sauvage edp is a 2019 batch. Not the watered down new batch. Get this. 10 plus hours. Gold in a bottle, or decant. It took a few days to really appreciate it. Dallas TX heat. Perfect Fall fragrance. The Cashmeran and beautiful Lavender. Heaven. One month in.

So I just noticed that Dominique Ropion, the creator of this fragrance, also designed the Y line for Yves Saint Laurent. That explains a lot; now it makes sense why this smells like it could be a Y flanker. I honestly like this more than any of the Y's I've tried. You could say it's my favorite Y flanker so far, lol. It's a more mature, confident, gentleman's Y.

Probably the best Polo fragrance out on the market right now. Sweet, clean, and somehow sophisticated all at once. If it lasted longer then it would be the only thing I wear. Unfortunally, it only lasts like 3 hours on my skin. It's also very versatile. Some say it's a everyday cologne, and some say it's meant for date night, but I think it does everything.

I normally don't write reviews but I do appreciate reading everyone else talk about one of my favorites in my collection. On my skin it last 8-10 hours. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it's own. But I typically layer fragrances together. And just wanted to share this combination. Ralphs Club Parfum as the base, and Khamrah on top...... thank me later.

One of the best you can get these days. Classy, old school, fresh, sophisticated and steady. I consider it unique with these days designer fragrances. Bitter and sweet with classy notch to it. Love it !! I guess it’s underrated with current market and if it had more longevity I can consider it as one of the future niche uprising.. 9/10

Big improvement comparing to EDP, huge! If you on the market for a gentlemanly sweet lavender scent with fresh opening and woody vanillic dry down - check this one out. Better then Y, better than Legend! PS Skip EDP entirely, parfum or nothing, as far as I am concerned.

Manly, sexy, Delicious smell. poor sillage but it lasts long enough once spray. opening and dry out smells really lovely. left over smell feels like you wanna put another extra perfume on yourself. it's very versatile and can be worn most of any situation.

Hello friend, I have had cologne for long time. Very good peppery opening with sweet calm dry down. Performance could be better so just spray more. I must say, refrain from purchasing cologne if you'd like to keep your ticket to Chudtopia.

Nice release 👍 very close to Y Parfum by YSL no wonder why because both are having the same perfumer Dominique Ropion 🏆 but between the two I prefer Ralph's club Parfum more it's less synthetic than Y ❤️🇫🇷

My most complimented fragrance in my entire collection. Similar to other popular designer fragrances, but there’s something about Ralph’s Club that just smells better. Great performance.

My favorite Fall, Winter Freshie. Perfect for 30+ men, signature all year Scent. I'm 45. This is more sophisticated than the EDP. More mature and elegant

This scent gets a lot of compliments from everyone I’ve worn it around. It’s a safe, pleasing scent. I prefer this version over the original and Elixir

Really good fragrance. It is good for a mass market crowd that can be layered well with other smells. This one is a go-to daytime fragrance. 8/10

Best of the line. Smelled the Elixir in the store and I am so glad I didn't blind buy, I couldn't see myself wearing that. Too much incense.

Yeah it’s basic but it’s as rounded well blended take on a basic fragrance you can get in the designer realm. Very Ralph Lauren as well.

Great scent just wish it lasted longer. Seemed to dry and be gone within 3 hours on me. Good reason to spray on more though!

This perfume is good and nice smell But the perfomance so bad!! Projection 4/10 Longetivity : 4hours Sillage :5/10

Best designer men’s fragrance to come out in 22 imo.

Just did a review of this on my Youtube "Rotten Rebel" and like always wanted to share my thoughts with the lovely community here! This to me feels like they took the original and added more layers to it. The original was very much aromatic and woody and so is Parfum, but the aromatic side in parfum is more nuanced and its woodiness feels a bit different. There's also a soft dose of something sweet which really makes it a lot more likable and appealing. The dry down is (to me) focused on warm woodiness with lavender on top and a soft dose of vetiver in the background. This is a scent that's VERY NICE but also feels VERY familiar. It does not blow my mind in any way, but it smells really, really nice. If you are looking for something truly unique, keep looking. If you are looking for a great scent that's very versatile, that you can use in most situations and that most people will enjoy on you, then this is it. I think every man should at least have one of these kinds of scents in his collection. Something he can spray on whenever that will work in any situation and that will make him smell good to most people. It doesn't have to be this one, but this is a VERY good choice for something like that.

I was so excited to hear about this release! I liked the lavender in the EdP, but in the end the scent was a bit too bubble gummy juvenile. The Parfum smells remarkably similar to the EdP, but is better. In fact this makes the EdP a redundant release. It's like Ralph's Club EdP is a cheap Arab clone of Ralph's Club Parfum. Like EdP was the prototype and this is the production copy. It's a blue fragrance. Maybe Y Le Parfum is the closest comparison again, but this smells less synthetic. This also has the soapy lavender of a fougere, but this is a very contemporary fougere. It would be a great classy scent for younger men. To me this is more of Fall/Winter scent as it's still sweet, but the sweetness is not as bubble gummy as before. I'd love to get more of that patchouli, but the notes are blended well, nothing sticks out to my nose apart from the lavandin. Performance is good. Very good release from Ralph Lauren. I expect, hope even, that this sells well.

Basically an aromatic citrus. Might be overwhelming for someone, because it sometimes does for me. Now this fragrance doesn't have the best performace, but I will argue that it's a good thing because this right here is the perfect fragrance when you need to go somewhere and will be back in like 2 hours. It is going to be faded by then so you can put on some other fragrance. The good thing is that the fade happens pretty quickly. So it's pretty strong and then fades quickly, all in 3 hours maximum. I would say this fragrance is a little overpriced for what it offers with the performance, but as I said if you need to change fragrances throughout the day, this one can do the job very well. Is it one of my favourites? No. But it is one of the most practical fragrances in my collection and honestly, I would consider buying it again after finishing the bottle.

Ralph's Club Parfum is like the original with some added smoke, its safe, smells great, but may be redundant for those who already own the original. The smoke note adds a deeper and more masculine scent, making it perfect for a night out or a formal event. However, it can be too strong for those who prefer lighter scents. The longevity is moderate, lasting throughout most of the day with four sprays. The bottle design is classic and elegant, making it a great addition to any perfume collection. Overall, Ralph's Club Parfum is a solid fragrance with a unique twist. If you're a fan of the original Ralph Lauren, this could be a great option for you. If you're looking for a bold, smokey scent, this is definitely worth a try

As I said of the original Ralph's Club: "Aromatic, slightly woody opening with a touch of sweetness. Very much a shower gel scent for me: fresh, clean, and that bright alcoholic/mentholic sort of effect that really opens my sinuses. ... This is basically a less complex version [of YSL Y EDP], as aside the listed notes all I really get is a heap of ambroxan -- the nondescript sweetness and perhaps amplifying the cedar's woodiness -- plus maybe some green apple." The Parfum pretty much smells exactly like one might expect, a slightly deeper and more developed version of the original. Gets almost kinda smoky in the deep drydown. Moderate projection fades over 2-3hr, limping through 4hr, longevity 8-10hr.

Ralph's Club Parfum 🪵🍊 It’s the mature version of the OG. The opening is AROMATIC at the highest level you can image. (Bit headachy) I get a punch of Lavandin and apple (a bit shower gel-ish): at this point i feel the INVICTUS And HAWAS ghost and definitely the YSL Y influence. Dry down Strongly WOODY: potent dry CEDAR. There is a “friendly” fight between the GREENISH and BLUE accord to be the star of the smell. Is it a mass appealing release? OH YEAH since it’s SWEET, SPICY, smoothly citrusy and cero challenging. In summary, nothing new under the sun, however it’s extremely VERSATILE: a 4x4 fragrance to wear any time of the year, whatever the situation and outfit. Good job RALPH! Rate:🥇

Love how you can smell the lavender in this one with the vetiver in the bottoms with some wood coming through this is safe to wear anywhere anytime you can't really over spray this. It doesn't last very long and it doesn't project far either I've sprayed my self with about 10 sprays and maybe lasted 4 hours and projected about 2 feet away it's just that weak I wish I was a bit stronger and projected more but it is what it is I think the price is ok for what you get but their is definitely other better choices such as Y Le Parfum which is close to this but last way longer and projects a little bit better as well. Smell 8/10 Longevity 5/10 Projection 4/10 Overall Ratin 5.5/10

Received this as a Christmas gift, and I did not like it upon first sniff. I gave it some more wearings and received multiple unsolicited compliments. It's sweet but not as much as Y Parfum. This has less projection than the Y line which makes it more versatile. It's not great, but a solid mass pleasing fragrance in the sweeter semi-fresh realm. Females seem to really enjoy this on me, so if compliments are a goal this could be a great option. The biggest drawback for me is the cashmeran in the drydown which can become cloying after a while. Lavender, geranium, and apple are the standout notes for me, but this does have some complexity for a mass appealing "common" scent.

So this one has been sat with me for a while as I blind bought it on a deal and then never really thought it stood out enough to give it a proper wear. How wrong I was. On a cloudy but pleasant Sunday I reached for it to walk down the shops and again as I applied it I thought it was nothing special but then when it hit the air on the dry down it took on a whole new level. I’m a big fan of odessey man Mega which dries down to that ysl Y type dna for bargain money but I got this for £30 and it’s smoother and classier than that just better put together for not much more

Similar to many of the comments this fragrance won't blow your mind but in a way I see it as a strength. This is not going to offend anyone, works anytime and anywhere and smells good. I don't own YSL Y, but it does remind me of it more than anything else I can think to compare it to. It seems less sweet than Y, but could be wrong. I am happy with it, will wear it for the times when i just want to smell "good" but not really leave much of an impression. Might be one of the safest fragrances I have ever smelled, and at least in my collection.
