Romance Elixir

I love it. It is similar to La Vie est Belle L’Elixir, but better. On my skin that one gives a cigarette smoke mixed with artificial watermelon vibe. Same with Burberry Goddess Parfum. Cigarettes, but mixed with cough syrup. I’ve sampled almost all the newer release designer berry perfumes at Ulta and this is the best. They all have off notes except for this. The intense version of this smells like pickle on my skin. Elixir is a powdery, raspberry makeup amber and the resin, patchouli, vanilla, benzoin dry down makes it sexy and addictive. Edit: Libre Berry Crush is nice too for a berry, no off notes. I will probably buy at least a travel size of that.

This is beautiful!! I'm surprised it doesn't have a Fragrantica rating of at least 4. Fruity, powdery yet jammy rose, all happening at the same time. Very bold. Excellent performance. Super feminine. And so affordable. This will be added to my collection. If I had to say this smelled like anything, I'd say it leans in the VC&A Rose Rouge direction but maybe a bit darker than that one. And it's a lot cheaper. It's been done before and it's not very unique but for the price and performance, it's a winner!

Really beautiful and strong, really similar to Juicy Couture Royal Rose, it’s quite dense and sweet from the fruits, I think lychee is the one that I pick up most, the rose is consistently noticeable throughout. As it dries down you get a thick rose jammy note, and finally once you hit about the hour mark it turns into a smoky dry slightly sweet rose that feels just so seductive. Love this one and it is actually my first RL purchase and I will def check out some others.

I am a somewhat regular dude rating this: I agree with others this is a bit strong and to that effect I actually like it extra - this smells like a really sexy dominant type of woman. I get a lot of the iris rose and fruitiness. In the back is the patchouli and resinous stuff that elevates it to the next level for me. I hate to sound corny but I really feel this is for a minority of more Alpha-female type of woman and not for the faint of heart.

This was my wedding perfume and it lasted almost all night on my skin and dress. It’s not a safe blind buy, but it’s very floral and has a vintage vibe i absolutely love. This perfume has a perfect balance between sharp and flower scents, even tho i feel like it wouldn’t be a good choice to wear during summer or hot weather.

I just got this a few days ago... I'm getting Kayali Fleur Majesty Rose Royale, but a little powdery. 🤔 And maybe a little bit of a Delina vibe. Either way it's a love for me. 🌹😍

Love love love! So classy and feminine. Such a pretty scent! I saw someone say this smells vintage and I really agree.

This smells almost exactly like the P.S. I Love You lotion from Bath and Body Works, which I still have and could compare it to. I don't pick up the Lychee at all, nor any citrus notes, and not the typical "tea rose" scent. It has a powdery floral sense to it, where you could imagine a 50-70 year old woman who likes pearls, lace, and rose stationary wearing this. The benzoin and resin kind of takes over for me, with a heaviness and warmth. A fall and winter fragrance. An "I guess that floral note is a rose...right?" kind of fragrance. Not the typical "mature" matriarchal fragrance that is overwhelmingly heavy and polarizing, but definitely not how youthful they advertised it. If an image were to have a fragrance, it would be a moody, dark academia styled library. No lights on, but a fireplace lit with dimming flames, Dried red roses on a marble table next to a burgundy velvet chaise, and when you look out the the window, you see a foggy lake, lit by the moon as it rains from the view of a wrought iron balcony. It depicts the elegance of a well-read and traveled woman in a black wool coat, who can run circles around you with her vocabulary and poise alone, but is kind enough to go out of her way to include you in conversation. Not over-familiar, but not so formal that it feels unapproachable to talk to her. The scent didn't last very long on the skin, but if you sprayed it on clothes I think it would last all day. I have two other perfumes from Ralph Lauren (Romance, and Beyond Romance) and they both last all day on the things I wear, and days later on coats and scarves without staining the fabric. For this one, I sprayed the pulse points of both my wrists and could smell it loud enough for about an hour or so, before I stopped recognizing the scent. Also, I intentionally bruised the scent after sitting with it for a while and didn't sense that the notes progressed or even changed. If you REALLY, REALLY loved the P.S. I Love You fragrance line from B&BW, or want a warm not-a-rose-but-definitely-floral perfume, get this!

i found the travel size at ross for like $12 so i figured why not. the first 10 minutes it smells a little medicinal so it's a fragrance you kind of have to wait out for it to truly develop. once it does, it's a rich and dark fruity floral that pulls a little vintage, which i don't mind. i think i'll enjoy this more once october rolls around because something about it fits the vibe of a spooky night. it's sweet yet mysterious, like an elegant lady in the corner of a jazz bar sipping on a deep red wine (❁ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)

Really good, I’m considering a bottle for myself even though I’m a guy. Very jammy rose, tart fruits, and a creamy vanilla in the base. Super nice, unisex but definitely feminine leaning

i smelled this in the store and bought it immediately upon wearing it at home many times i just feel like i don’t gravitate towards it it smelt really fruity in the store now its just a very strong fruity Oud that is heavy... i wish i could sell my almost full bottle

It’s ok. VERY strong. I mean. It hurts me strong. Lmao. The intense is all you need I think. This is so resinous and so bold. Just a bit too much. I grabbed the travel spray and I’ll be returning it. It’s a no for me.

Violet, cosmetical, powdery, dry, chypre. Gives me some old fashioned vibes for some reason, probably the patchouli. It's not bad but at the same time nothing crazy either. Just meh in my opinion.

This smells like some random dollar store candy I had been gifted for Easter like 15 years ago.

For me, this is as bad as Alien. I’m not a florals person but sometimes you get a winner. This was not it. Pungent is all I can think of. The perfume your great grandma would wear. Everybody’s nose and body chemistry is different though - this just didn’t work for me. Too much rose and violet.

This is strong and sharp. The litchi and elemi are overpowering and obnoxious here. The rose smells fake just like in every flanker I have tried in this line. The patchouli isn't a high quality either, very dirty, sharp. The quality of ingredients used in this line smells terrible. I can't even stand smelling this for more than a second. It's like being slapped in the face. I wish companies would quite using elemi resin and bad quality patchouli and amber woods. Just please stop! This reminds me of a unisex version of the above LVEB flanker. Trash.

The opening is a fresh classic rose. Within a few seconds, the juicy and sweet lychee appears. The lychee is sweet and the light pink pepper gives a bright zingy quality to this initial phase of the perfume. As already mentioned, there is a relation to Delina Exclusif, but this is much lighter and DE is stronger and fluffier. However, I don't see any similarity with Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Intense, beyond the colour of the glass bottle: Gardenia Intense is incredibly sweet and spicier. The dry down is earthy from the patchouli. The light rose note stays throughout the evolution of the perfume. Longevity is average, around 4 hours on my skin. Overall I quite like it, the price is also very reasonable, which never hurts. I think this is appropriate in any season ❤️🌹🌿

Not what I expected! This is a somewhat powdery, lipstick rose against a resinous, slightly leather-y backdrop. A bit vintage. There is a hint of tartness from the litchi but I wouldn't classify this as fruity. It is far less fruity than LVEB L'Elixir and Angel Nova, which both have a strong raspberry note. Romance Elixir is pleasant, and I like the DNA, but I think it lacks a bit. It could be sensual and commanding if it was just... More?

i picked up a sample that looked a bit macerated. i think it did wonderful things to this scent, so intoxicating! im ready to have tomatoes thrown at me cause i'm sure it's just me, but this smells like vivienne westwood's boudoir (maybe a bit sweeter).

Opening is sharp, but it doesn't take too long to settle. 4 hours after spraying, I'm still getting whiffs of rosey raspberry and woody notes. Definitely a mood boost on a cold day

I got a sample of this with an order. It gives me definite Red Aoud vibes, which is quite a pleasant surprise.

Pretty but definitely patchouli dominant on my skin. I think better for night time

On the Ulta test strip this is reminding me of Oud Satin Mood.
