Romance Pink Pony Edition

I was not expecting such a warm, cozy, comforting, and sweet sugary scent! There's definitely the peonies and zing of bergamot in the beginning, but then I imagine them soaking in cotton candy after a few minutes! This is not cheap cotton candy, but your gourmet cotton candy if there is such a thing! Then after half an hour, it's sugary vanilla (not even listed in the notes). This is NOT B&BW warm vanilla sugar, do not worry!! This is like ginger spice cotton candy and some warm vanilla, with a bright zip of bergamot. I am soooooo pleasantly surprised. I was expecting pink peonies that were light and fresh (Like Burberry Brit Sheer) because the bottle is clean/white and the pony is pink, but nooooooo.... This is: "peonies dipped in zingy sugar" and oh so freaking delicious! It's not a mature scent but it's also not a young girlie scent either. It's right in the middle. This is a perfect fall fragrance! (My husband just said I smelled like candy!) Updated Review: although I absolutely love this I am returning it because of its disappearing act... It lasts no time on me despite being an eau de parfum. Too bad because it's a really lovely scent!

Romance Pink Pony is a straightforward scent. It’s very heavy in peony and feels girly pink, just like its name. The peony is supported by bergamot to add some freshness as well as ginger, which gives a pleasant zing in the background of the fragrance. Nothing entirely innovative, but entirely pleasant. It smells very similar to any number of big brand floral scents, most noticeably Coach Floral or a paired down, peony heavy Twilly d’Hermes to my nose. While the scent itself may be “just another mall department store fragrance”, the real appeal here is how Ralph Lauren is donating their profits of this fragrance to combat breast cancer. That’s commercial innovation that I feel makes Romance Pink Pony unique. As such, I would argue it makes total sense to have as pleasant and mass appealing a scent as possible so as to do the most good for the world. I’d consider gifting bottles to my wife, mother and sister for the holidays all in the name making the world a little bit more uplifting and a little bit healthier too.

This stuff is LOUD. My girlfriend is into fragrances too and her bottle is insanely sweet and projects like mad. It's synthetically sweet, fruity but not vanillic. I've never smelled Fantasy but I imagine this is in the same ballpark. Can be a little harsh but overall good.

Chappell Roan signature scent? This came out the same year as "Pink Pony Club". Coincidence? 🤔

Oh man I want this one. The bottle is so cute. Rave reviews. I need it!
