Treasures of Safari - Amber

This is a soft gourmand amber, it has a relaxing vibe to it. It's not too sweet and not too powdery, nice balanced scent that you can wear when you want to relax. Upon spraying you get an initial blast of alcohol that fades away very quickly and in comes the vanilla and amber, soft rich and slightly resinous. It leans on the feminine side due to it being light/soft, however I have worn fragrances by Prada that are for men which are in a similar category. I find myself reaching for this prior to going to bed. I think this fragrance is amazing and addictive, it has a refined and well blended feel to it. The scent creates a lovely bubble around you, for me personally it makes me feel better and for this it's full bottle worthy. The only fragrance in my collection that smells similar to this is Elie Saab Ambre which is another great amber scent. Highly recommend this one, if you can try it out.

Oh well this is delicious. Sweet, resinous amber. (Not too sweet). Clear and clean and lovely. Wearing for the first time today but I think this is a winner. I've now worn this off and on for a week and yes, I bought a full bottle. It is warm, and cozy. Like being snuggled up in front of the fire with your favorite dog, your favorite warm tipple, and a big furry blanket. It's a nap while cookies bake in the oven. It's so stinkin' classy, but pares great with jeans and a silk top. Easy and rich at the same time. I'm loving this.

This is nice. It's nothing wild or revolutionary, just a nice, slightly sweet and woody amber. The opening seems very sweet but that fades quickly. Settles into softly vanillic amber with some light woody notes. Would be fine on it's own but would also make a nice ambery base for layering. Longevity was stellar on my skin. Put it on in the evening and could still smell it the next morning.

A textbook amber, almost solinote and linear. Not spicy, not particularly sweet, well blended, just amber and benzoin, soft, fluffy and discreet. It reminds me of something else I already own. Like the poster below, I also get a blast of alcohol in the first few seconds of the opening, which initially made me go "uh-oh", but then it settles into this warm comforting cozy scent.
