Tilak

I always wear this for the first couple dates (or going out and trying to pull lol). Its warm, sexy, and a bit like a New Age store. It doesn’t project super far, but once you’re in it’s orbit it kind of saturates the air. When someone goes in for a hug or sits next to you in a taxi, they’ll smell it. On myself, I can smell the lingering vanilla inside my elbows the next day. However, the oil definitely has a color. Too much will show on your skin, and as reviewers below pointed out it can stain clothes and every bottle leaks a bit, so now all my travel bags / makeup bags have tan stains and smell like Tilak.

My close friend brought me to an Indian bazaar and I was really interested in the fragrances they had. I was recommended this by the shopkeeper and my friend and I al absolutely in love. I wear this every day. It’s so incense-y and powdery and beautiful. It WILL last all day. I like to mix it with my jergens cherry almond lotion, they blend together beautifully.

This is such a pleasure to wear. Just be mindful that it can leave stains on your clothing and skin, the latter is easily remedied but the former may not be. Beautiful combination of vanilla, orange blossom and amber. It works better in warmer weather as do most oils. If you apply it more than once it does project and does have longevity. Be patient with this one, it's a beauty. Edit: Oops, the other note is ylang ylang, my bad.

The mixed review show how varied perfume oils can be. On me, it is a perfect date night type fragrance. Sultry and Flirty. It lasts all day and projects enough that every time I wear it I am asked what it is I have on. The bottle leaks. That really sucks about it.

This is a sweet, honeyed fruity floral with some odd aspects that I can't place. It has a bit of an incense vibe. It does not project and does not last. It sits close to the skin. If you want to sniff your wrist all day to smell it and like honeyed fruity floral then it is for you. I feel I wasted my money.

On my skin this smells like I dunked myself in old perfume and then took a dip in the most chlorinated pool I could find. I really dont like this on myself. Out of the bottle it smells strongly of honey and its actually kinda sorta pleasant. Not gag inducing like what it did with my chemistry.

Bright, sunny orange blossom dunked in thick, golden honey. I wear this in my hair during warmer days, and though Tilak is very sweet, the radiant, happy aura it creates flawlessly compliments a summer day. Delicious and beautiful!
