Kokain Black Ash

Not as "Dark" as I imagined it would smell. I think I purely based that on the music style and "look" of Rammstein. I expected something real deep and dark. Perhaps quite industrial smelling. I was surprised! In a good way as it's still a great smelling fragrance. Well, especially in rhe price bracket. I'd say I got a solid 4 hours of projection before it started to really fade. The initial spray is pretty strong at first and I thought it could smell a bit overbearing, however, on drydown, it really does smell nice. Would I buy again? Yes.

This is indeed very cheap alternative to Black Afghano. Without the annoying bergamote top note, it is a pitch dark gooey dense experience from start to end. Pretty linear, I would not describe it as a beast, but for the price, you can doze yourself in it if you wanted to amp up the performance. Nice to see such a niche offering among true cheapies. It is nothing original, but matches the image of the band perfectly.

Wow, this is very strong inscense and olibanum to me. Which I like! But I think you need to be in the mood for such a statement. It makes me think of my BELOVED Myrrhe by L'Erbolario, Italy (discontinued, such a shame!). This was sweeter and more flattering. And still a little statement.

6. september 2020 I have managed to try the whole line of all Kokains from Rammstein and while i like a White ash since it is more feminine version IMO and bit sweeter, i really appreciate this Black version and i find it quite masculine. It has super impressive sillage and lasting power unlike all the rest fragrances from Kokain line: original is very weak IMO, Intense is not as intense as i wish it to be as well, WHITE ASH starts out strong but gets softer after a short period of time. But Black Ash is a beast! Super strong incence, saffran, cypress and leather, these notes are most prominent to my nose. It smells very manly and powerful, great for fall/winter, was too strong for hot summer. For 25 euros it is a deal! I would definitely recommed to try it at least and if you are into leather orinetal fragrances, then it is a good choice as well on a budget. Lasted for whole day, went strong and powerful. I like especially that cypress note gives an interesting touch to the whole composition and adding that bitter edge while not ruining the whole composition.
