Blind tested this without having ever heard of this particular perfume. Didn't research the notes, just tested it and took in how I felt and what I smelt in the moment. I think too much we let reviews influence our own opinions, subconsciously, more than we realize. So I no longer read or look up anything b4 testing. I want to experience them in the wild, natural and 100% independent ideas/opinions. This fragrance is so so good imho. Even my fiance loves it and wants a bottle. Very diverse and unisex fragrance. It does have this sweet/brightness to it, just kind of mingling with the darker notes and it really works. I get the rasberry the most. It's not a synthetic overly sweet rasberry. It's an organic, ripe rasberry. I get a leathery texture from the Saffron, I also get a very natural ylang note...dirty, and rich ylang. Caramel is wafting on the outskirts, keeping it sweet enough and taming the oud/Saffron. The oud is rather light imo, but starts to show off a little more in dry down but still not overly so. I honestly get much more Saffron, rasberry, ylang, caramel and even a hint of the anise, in top notes. The dry down I'm getting mostly a light rasberry, warm sweet resinious amber, jasmine and tonka. In 100% honesty... This is def House of sillage Batman hero & minnie mouse mixed together. That sweet rasberry/caramel from minnie is noticable from 1st spray, but then also batman hero has this beautiful strong tonka, suede, waxy fruity aspect that faise has too. I actually love this! 8/10 imo. Smells a whole lot better onbskin than clothes. On my sweater i got a lot of oud and indolic florals oh ya this is absolutely she beastly! Project is amazing as well as longevity.

I have a sample of this perfume. It lasts more than 14 hours, a perfume with great fixation. With a very high intensity. When we put on the perfume the first thing that reaches our nose is a combination of woody amber and flavored with spice and saffron. The beginning of the perfumes is warm and dark from the amabar and those woods. Soon the presence of the raspberry, accompanied by a set of flowers, rose, ylang ylang ... give light to this perfume, like a sunrise. Cinnamon, caramel, and vanilla sweeten the woods to give them an interesting life. The fruity, floral tones give joy to the perfume. The spices, the saffron, the cinnamon give it exoticism and the woods, the oud and the amber elegance and mystery. A completely different and special perfume from what I have tried, a fascinating creation that makes you fall in love. It is perfectly unisex. In my case (woman) I really appreciate the woody and amber aromas, I really enjoy this aroma, a delicious aroma, very special and unique.

Faïsa is for me just a gorgeous perfume. This one and flamenco are my favourite from the monegals that k have tried and are in my general top Rating of perfumes. Faïsa is sweet and very pleasant, is intense and the oud is noticeable but very subtle and friendly like the oud present for example un Bois d'oud by perris Montecarlo. The ylang ylang and the saffron give son powdery and soapy power yo the opening. Then the Raspberry the oud and the amber get the main protagonista of the perfume, rounded by a very subtle floral troop. The caramel, tonka Bean and vanilla give a very nice sweetness to the fragance the more noticeable the more It dryes down. The longevity is very good, more than 10 hours on skin, and the sillage is good as Well, although i wouldnt say It is beast Mode. I think It is an unisex perfume perfect for night or evening use and better with fresh weather. Scent: 9.5 Longevity: 9 Sillage: 7.5 Quality/price: 7 Versatility: 6 Originality: 9 Global: 9

Faisa is far better than most of the woody spicy fragrances on the market. I say this because not only does it contain the prerequisite notes of this genre--saffron, ylang ylang, cinnamon, agarwood, sandalwood and amber but there mixed in a way that is sophisticatedly sweet. The lemon, rose, mimosa and vanilla widen the palate so that it moves beyond a linear scent. These notes play across its unfolding and at no time does it lose its unusual appeal. I can se why it's been compared to Nemer, but that one is more floraly royal. I find it unisex, with good to strong sillage and longevity. This one has the feel of a very expensive fragrance (it isn't cheap but isn't in the Nemer range). I am surprised more people have not tried this one. It isn't anything earth shattering but it well worth sampling.

This is my second review on Faisa. I absolutely love this stuff. I finally gave her a full wear today and I'm so glad I did because I really enjoyed it. This is a beautiful oud/gourmand fragrance!! It's like if La Capitale & HOS Minnie had a baby. It's not edible like Minnie, due to the oud & saffron, but I still get Minnie vibes from the raspberry & caramel. It's like Minnie all grown up. It's so pleasant, smooth, and very well-rounded. I love how RM does raspberry (Atractone Musk is another favorite of mine), very natural and smooth; I find other perfumes with raspberry can be bitter. The mimosa is also prominent and adds a unique floral touch to this fragrance DNA. This is very much what I wanted La Capitale to be. If you're an oud lover you need to get your nose on this!

My goodness, this is delicious... I can smell the sweet raspberry with a spicy oud straight when I first spray it on my skin and it feels so elegant, so sophisticated with this leathery undertone given probably by a good amount of saffron. Then, some flowers come up later (rose, jasmine, mimosa...), and the base of caramel, vanilla and Tonka bean gives a touch of gourmand nuance to it. All the composition is perfectly blended, well-rounded, very smooth. As it dries down a bit, the spicy and oudy notes fade and I get a really creamy oud rose combination with a blanket of sweet mimosa. Great performance... What can I say... I absolutely love this! And what a beautiful bottle!

This Faisa perfume is sexy, sexy, sexy.

A unique blend..saffron, oud, warmly resinous amber, spicy sandalwood, a rank animalic note that’s kinda raw-sexy...a multitude of notes intertwining masterfully in a languid, sensual olfactory orgy.

I'm going to jump right into this. This is not what I would personally create or design if my prompt is to replicate the sun in olfactory form. Saffron and animalic oud are on the complete opposite side of the spectrum in my opinion. This composition does not create a sense of brightness, or of vibrant summer rays hitting the wearer. Perhaps I'm just confused. Actually, I'm very confused! What is this supposed to be? The fragrance itself is not bad. I say that coming from a perspective where saffron, rose and oud are the least desirable qualities in a fragrance. There is still a noticeable professionalism and I can respect that even if I don't necessarily enjoy the fragrance itself. Ramon Monegal is a well -established house. This is just personally not my favorite. The fragrance goes dark when I think it should go light. It is mainly a rose/oud combination with saffron and an Amber/ vanilla dry down. A little bit of sandalwood and tonka bean to enhance the texture of the sweet base. It is something that I'm sure you need to sample before, but again I say it is very well done. If this is a note combination you enjoy, I definitely recommend it to you. The quality is there as well as the longevity. If I had to force the concept of sunlight, I would say this is more of a setting sun than rising or noontime sun in the sky.

Faisa kinda shocked me at first sniff. My sample looked like a zesty citrus fragrance and I clearly misread the name a FIESTA. It took a minute to overcome my sensory shock and immediately thought this was a botched creation a BR540. Burnt sugar and vanilla, with a skanky oud. Wait for it! I came to my senses and started to embrace my love for ROSE OUD. The oud is dirty, smoky with a lil skank with a touch of rose. After several hours, there's a floral sweetness of jasmine and amber in the background. The dry down is a sandalwood gourmand of caramel and vanilla. This fragrance could've been named ... Roses on Fire! The sample was a great experience but not sure if I'll add it to my rose oud collection.

I don't know who did it first MFK with BR540 or Ramon Monegal with Faisa, but they are very very similar. On my skin it is very linear, so I got sweet saffron with a hint of medicinal vibe in the opening and later an oud is appearing underneath, but it stays sweet. If there was not a hype about BR 540, which has definitely started this trend of sweet saffron ( light medicinal burning sugar note), I wouldn't like the Faisa

Frankly, I regret buying this fragrance and find it quite dissapointing. Timid, dilute, and run-of-the-mill with the rare exception sums up my experience with Ramon Monegal fragrances, most come off as overpriced designer tier fragrances. Faisia is an interesting, yet not truly unique composition, with a heart of clean, well-mannered oud plus some complimentary facets and accords layered on top, it fell short of my expections. First, the name is a misnomer suggesting this will be a bright, cheery fragrance, which this is not imo coming off as a moderately complex woody-spicy fragrance. Second, too much thought and effort was put into the packaging, it's literally a big black hard plastic tome, complete with cover, housing the fragrance bottle that's also inside a neat cloth bag. Cool, yet way overdone and out of place. Third, the fragrance comes off a polished montale oud fragrance that's timid and over-diluted with moderately priced designer level quality, creativity and performance. I don't get the massive projection, longevity and sillage others cite with this fragrance; it's as if this fragrance could have been great but was scaled back to make it more marketable. And lastly, I was hoping for a bright, big and loud fragrance with a touch of oud at the base and got an over-marketed, over-priced, over-packaged montale oud rip off fragrance. In short, it's way overpriced, the fragrance doesn't follow the marketing nor my expectations, the price doesn't match the performance or composition, it smells rather forced and synthetic, the packaging is overdone and the name is misleading; if I wanted an overpriced designer quality run-of-the-mill montale oud then I would have bought it for 1/2 to 1/3 the price.

Quite an unoriginal scent from Ramon Monegal. This house for me comes with high expectations of creativity, I don't necessarily like everything from RM but this was a very common DNA of a saffron rose oud. The saffron is overdosed all I get is a saffron with yellow florals and a touch of rose. I find this to be an easy love if you haven't tried much in terms of niche but a total disappointment for experienced noses. Blind bought this and was gifted a sample before it arrived. I wouldn't buy this had I tried it so do sample before you buy. I recommend sampling via Jovoy as Monegal's website is terrible for sampling however the free shipping threshold is quite low if you live outside Europe.

Very harsh and synthetic. Opens with a blast of blackened sugar scrapings you might get from baking something in the oven - acrid and sour. Followed by a well-done warm Oud, and something plasticky. Sweet, warm, very screechy and loud. 3/10
