Mon Patchouly

I am SOOO happy with this "Blind-Buy" purchase! It smells so amazing, very modern and with EXCELLENT all around performance! (Bout damn time the performance matches the reviews for one of MY blind-buys!) This fragrance lasts like 9 to 10 hours in skin and will stick to clothes until the next wash EASILY. It has great sillage and pushes quite well off my skin for atleast 3 hours and then becomes a more moderate, very noticable scent bubble with just 2 to 3 spritzes. Its a very smooth fragrance with no sharp edges and no "Screechiness". Now, Ive made a few regretful, "Pricey" Blind-Buys which have promised great performance yet actually had horrible performance (possibly bc of reformulations) such as Hermes-Bel Ami Vetiver, Gucci Guilty Absolute, and a couple others that've slipped my mind. I am therefore so happy to have FINALLY gotten something that delivers both on amazing scent as well as amazing performance. And YES the Patchouly is very noticable even in the opening, but then as it dries-down the Patchouli does "wrestle for attention" with the gorgeous succulent, almost fruity Jasmine and has a fresh hints of a Salty-Oceanic Breeze accord which is NOT AT ALL "Fishey" or "SeaWeed like" and again, is just there to add an unexpected freshness/contrast to the heavier Patchouly and Jasmine notes. After giving it a full wear Id rate this fragrance (a very rare in my book) 10 outta 10 and I HIGHLY recommend it wether you are a Patchouli lover or not! Thanks for taking time to read my thoughts on the STELLAR Mon Patchouly 😉. Oh and imo Mon Patchouly does lean quite Masculine, atleast on my skin. Also just so folks are aware, the liquid is still that orange/amber color (Batchcode 40454 just made in 2024) and the 3.4oz bottle is a heavy, luxurious glass with a heavy Plastic/Metal Magnetic cap, VEEERY NICE!

So - I've had a few full day wears since I bought this a month and a half ago. It was love at first sniff and since then - loving it more and more everytime I wear this. Heard about this House (and Mon Patchouli) on one of the YouTube Channels that I follow (and like) and he raved about this (He also has posted here under @nikhilsharan) Co-incidentally, it also came up on sale around that time from a local niche perfume store so took that as sign and visited the store. And as they say - the rest is history. I love, LOVE this fragrance. It is hard to describe it but I find it creamy, delicious and delightful. 2-3 sprays is enough for me and I can keep smelling this on me all day. The dry down is beautiful as well. It's been around 4 hours now and it has settled into something really heavenly. I keep sniffing my arm to 'float' to a distant, happy memory - which I can't recollect BUT it's there. Maybe, I'm just happy floating around in that memory cloud and don't want to actually remember it. :) The florals in there are just perfectly blended. There is a slight hint of spice in there and I love it. I don't know what it is BUT it is just amazing too. Last time I wore it, I left the shirt handing in the wardrobe and I could smell it everytime I openend the doors. It truly is an UPLIFTING fragrance. All in all - masterfully blended and perfectly balanced.

this is the ultimate patchouli scent that I have found. I am very impressed with this one, got a small sample to try and I really need to save some money, this would smell gorgeous on a woman as well as a man. thumbs way up. a classy , attractive, elegant and powerful scent. excellent quality. not that it is a loud fragrance but dignified..a man or woman who knows who they are and not afraid to let people know. a real ass kicker. I remember this young lady I went to high school with she wore this patchouly oil or something and it always just smelled so wonderful on her..this is soft enough to wear I could see a sophisticated man wearing this as well definitely a confident man. gorgeous to my nose. one of those that just excites me and puts a grin on my face. beautiful scent, could be among my favorite scents right now! gorgeous! there seems to be a lot more going on with scent than just patchouli. the dry down on this fragrance is truly amazing.. I love this stuff. picking the right time to wear this is the trick.. I think I think if you wear it right not too crazy.. is just a wonderful scent for anyone who wears it. the dry down is more of where I find love for this fragrance. it reminds me a bit of caron's 3rd man , just a bit in the drydown.. more so as time goes on, one of the more complimented scents I have worn in the office. .

Patchouli + Jasmine + Amber An amazing amazing floral amber fragrance. The blend of Patchouli and Jasmine is to die for. Two of my most favorites notes. I owned Coromandel and Tuxedo before this and both i liked because of different sorts of patchouli they offer. Mon patchouli will soon gonna be in my collection as well. Matter of fact, I am thinking of making this my signature scent. It is floral, ambery, dark and mysterious. Lasts a long long time and projection is super amazing. It is a complete fragrance. I was surprised to see the rating on this one. It is highly underrated. In fact this house is kind of underrated. This is heaven for jasmine and patchouli lovers. And along with that, this does not come across as feminine. It is purely unisex and can be worn of by any CONFIDENT woman or man. A person wearing this exudes confidence, someone who does not need a fragrance to define their masculinity or femininity. Someone who is content in themselves, they know who they are and do not seek validation. I tried this scent when i was a beginner in fragrances and could not think of pulling it off. Liked it, but my nose was not this mature. Now i truly understand the beauty of this and truly appreciate what Ramon Monegal created. Do try this out if you get a chance and must try if you like patchouli. Cheers!

This is a surprisingly beautiful patchouly that has a more feminine edge in the opening and for the first hour or so yet it still remains very unisex. This is a different take on patchouly and it works surprisingly well. The leaf gives this a touch of green and it takes off some of the sweet edge of the patchouli. The floral notes soften it and the amber doesn't completely take over and make it announce PATCHOULY like so many of them do, it has a nice balance. It has a much greener quality than I expected but it is a pleasant surprise. This is a very unique fragrance combination, unlike anything I have worn before. I am sort of fascinated by this scent. This is a "safe" patchouly and in no way smells like a hippie. It just smells good. After about 2 hours this takes a turn toward the slightly more masculine but it still remains a very unisex fragrance. It loses the jasmine and floral edge and the oakmoss becomes more prominent. It smells more mossy green with a touch of amber. Sometime after 6 hours it turns more soft and powdery. The patchouly leaf remains a constant throughout all stages. I really like this fragrance a lot.

I have the opportunity to try this perfume since they have included it in a Discovery set that they sent me when I bought another perfume from the brand, flamenco, one of my favorite perfumes. I really appreciate this opportunity as I am generally not a patchouli lover and therefore probably never would have tried this perfume if it were up to me. Mon patchouli naturally smells like patchouli but in a very different way from other patchouli perfumes. It is woody, sweet, dark and medicinal like any perfume like that, but nevertheless in this case it is less chocolatey and lighter, with a much fresher sweetness, which for me makes it addictive. I think you could say that Mon patchouli is my favorite patchouli-centric perfume so far. I recommend it both to those who love patchouli, since they can find it in a different way here, as well as to those who do not. Mon Patchouly is a good fragrance from Monegal and gives us in part what the title says, the note of patchouli is dense, majestic, with that earthy and humid point that I like so much about this note, it is accompanied by a shy floral note and a powerful note of amber that sweetens everything to excess, running deliberately towards the balsamic-gourmand and making the aroma very resultón. The drying is very durable and monotonous, with a great wake. I find that this deliberate patchouli-gourmand is directed towards the more commercial side of the Monegal collection, following a bit the structure of many fragrances that come to market today, this coupled with the very monolithic little originality of the aroma will make it somewhat boring with use. In any case the composition is not bad and the qualities are quite good. Rating: 7

Disclaimer: I'm not into girly, flowery smells. I thought this would be one. And maybe it is... but... DAMN! I love wearing this. There, I said it. It is too sweet and too flowery to be in my comfort zone, but the frankincense and oakmoss combine with the patchouli perfectly for me. They add a smoky feel which blows me away. The jasmine is pretty strong... but I can't stop sniffing myself. Can't help it, I like it. It has an cloying sweetness which I absolutely HATE in Spicebomb and One Million, but which I love here. I thought maybe I would like it on the wife, since it's unisex, but she can't wear patchouli; most patchoulis go sour on her, and this one does, too. So... this is a scent for me. A guy. Weird. Still sniffing myself. Call me a dirty hippy, I like the patchouli.

Absolutely stunning scent by RM. I own Entre Naranjos so this is my second taste of this house and I am not disappointed. I read through a handful of reviews to see if I am the only one that thinks that this gives off a dark smokey sweet juicy watermelon vibe to go along with the earthy patchouli. I guess I am the only one. It probably is the Jasmine mixed with the amber that is giving me that vibe. Such a delight of a fragrance. And one I will be putting into my collection soon. This is amazing from the opening to the drydown. I can't decide whether I like the opening or the drydown more as both facets are outstanding. On the strength of Entre Naranjos and Mon Patchouly alone make me want to dive deeper into this house.

An underrated gem. After trying a sample, Mon Patchouly really took me by surprise and it was love at first sniff. Transition from the fresh, sweet and a little bit of spicy top to the watery and almost aquatic like jasmine and florals in the middle is so smooth. Probably one of the most beautiful jasmine I have ever smelled. And it ends with a classic woody, ambery chypre style kind of scent. Patchouli is there supporting in every stage of the journey. It’s not in the front and center but you can always detect it’s presence. Despite being heavy on the jasmine, I personally feel it leans a little bit on the masculine side. But women can also pull this off, for sure. It’s definitely going to be a staple in my collection.

Patchouli and Jasmine joined together in a wonderful harmony, who would have thought these two notes would go together so well. It is joined with hints of geranium,amber with a touch of incense but the main interplay is between the Jasmine and Patchouli. It has very good projection and lasts for ages though it is very linear. It's basically these two notes then the jasmine gets powdery in the basenotes. It smells wonderful though can get a little bit annoying after hour five but thats just me. If you can imagine the Patchouli in Givenchy Gentlmen lightened with quality jasmine which is a bit powdery then you basically got it. Smells good and a jasmine that a man can wear with confidence because of the patchouli.

This is a dark, resinous patchouli, it's complex and it sits next to the skin in me. The amber underneath is beautiful, very elegant and it helps this fragrance achieve a classic vibe, despite the patchouli being used in such an innovative way. It's a layered and beautiful creation, with a hint of sweetness only, and the signature wood accords that make RM such a unique house. For all patchouli fans, think of a more masculine, intense version of Clinique aromatics, but you won't be half way there, this is a true unique scent worth the investment if you seriously like Patchouli.

This is a powerhouse unisex fragrance. I agree with someone else who said that it's linear...at least on me it is. The oak moss starts off with a bang but soon settles down and MP moves into a hypnotic patchouli/amber haze from there on. Be prepared for a commitment with this one...one spray is enough for both wrists and stays strong into the next day. I sprayed my wrist at 7:00 last night and at 5:00 p.m. today it's still going on strong. If you like long lasting fragrances this one is for you. It's a hypnotic scent that makes you want to keep smelling it!

A balanced Patchouli that lasts and lasts, but has a smoothness that the Patchouli I remember from the 1960's never had. It certainly works for women as well as it does for men. The Jasmine sweetens its woodiness and the Oakmoss gives it character and prevents 'Mon Patchouli' from being a one-note wonder. I found that I needed only the slightest touch of the spray to last me all day and I suspect that any more would be too much.

Very interesting & unique fragrance. It feels like the jasmine & patchouli are always fighting each other for attention but somehow it works even though it never blends. Also gotta give props as this is a TRUE unisex fragrance. When you smell it you don't know if it leans masculine or feminine, unlike other fragrances that are labeled as unisex but they clearly lean on one side like BR540, GoF, Tobacco Vanilla, etc.

Extra ordinary! very creamy and smells delicious, The vanilla / Frankincense mixed with the patchouly perfectly , Very potent and definitely a compliment getter, 4 sprays and it last all day, I found when I over spray this perfume ; It gives me an upset stomach, Another work of art by RM! Patchouli and sweet jasmine – a very interesting and unusual perfume. Deep, woody, earthy, anchored and stable a cloud of jasmine unfurls from its earthy prison and soars into the sky taking me with it, in thrall. A most unexpected beauty and very far from any hippie patchouli associations the name might evoke. Highly recommended.

This fragrance is very succulent lol. There's a kind of juiciness to it despite having no fruity notes. I don't know how else to describe it but it's very beautiful. Glad to see Ramon Monegal finally hitting discounters

STUNNING, a few notes are more than enough to feel the power of this patchouly,real quality, a must if you love patchouly

بار اول حدود ده سال پیش خریدم و شیفته و شیداش شدم. وقتی تمومش کردم کلی دنبالش گشتم و حتی نوبهار که همیشه داشت دیگه تموم کرده بود تااینکه چندماه پیش ابتدای فروردین از انباری نوبهار وزرا یه تسترش برام پیدا کردن و خریدم. تولید قدیم و هیچ مشکلی نداره اما برای من دیگه ابدا اون حس مون پچولی قبلی نداره بلکه گویی اصلا پچولی نداره!! یکبار همین اتفاق درباره دالچه گابانا د وان جنتلمن که بارها تجدید خرید کردم رخ داد یعنی آخرین بار سالهای 96 یا 95 وقتی برای چندمین بار ذ وان جنتلمن گرفتم دیدم ابدا بوی خوش اسپایسی فلفل سیاه و کمی وتیور اولشو حس نمیکنم و هیچ چیزی جز بوی وانیل اونم یه وانیل به اصطلاح بی کیفیت و چیپ که گویی مونده و دیگه غیر این بویی حس نمیکردم. هدیه دادم به دوستم(همراه باتلی از بولگاری اکوا آمارا و مونا دی اوریو وانیل تولید وینتج!) خانم دوستم واله و شیداش شده بود و همواره هردوی د وان جنتلمن و اکوا امارا رو از همسرش میخواست براش بخره اما مونا دی اوریو وانیل که شاهکار وانیل تاریخ عطر به دلش ننشست(من از بوی وانیل بیزارم ولو مونادی اوریو وانیل) نمیدونم کسی چنین تجربه ای داشته یا خیر؟ ضمنا شک ندارم ریفرموله و یا فیک بودن عطرها در کار نبوده و مشکل از تجربه .بویایی خودم که شاید بخ دلیل مصرف بیش از حد سیگار و تاثیرات محیطی دیگه باشه. بعد التحریر: الان که چندروز هوا مقداری سردتر شده(انصافا تهران امسال زمستان نداشت) دارم از مون پچولی استفاده میکنم و بیشترین بویی که ازش میگیرم یکی یاس-اگرچه یاسی متفاوت که تلخی اش کاسته و با مقداری شیرینی که باید از پچولی یا عنبر باشه آمیخته است- و پچولی هم ابدا هیچ شباهتی به نت محبوب من که پچولی باشه و در کارهایی مانند پچولی لورنزو ویلورسی با آن لطافت و وضوع نابش یا کارهایی نظیر سایکدلیک جووی و حتی پرایوت لیبل با حالت هارش و یا پچولی در پچولی بوهم ال ام که حالتی بیمارگونه و بسیار سمی اما انصافا مطلقا یونیک, و دهها کار پچولی محور نیش دیگه ای که از پچولی نرم و متفاوت نیکلای کریچر بگیر تا پچولی کلاسیک در جیونچی جنتلمن کلاسیک شبهتی نداره. اینم اضافه کنم یکساعت از شروع کار می گذره کار بهتر میشه و کلا درای داون کار متفاوت از اوپنینگ اش و خوب راستش در فرایند درای داون وضوع نت ها و تشخیص و تمیزشان بهتر میشه و کلا کیفیت کار هم در حد نام رامون مونگال که کارهای عالی کم نداره.اما بازم من اون تجربه پیشین را از این عطر ندارم و چه بد

It projects like a charm and has the longevity and quality that we all dream of. Monegal created this after being “Inspired by the raw smell of patchouli leaves that I discovered with hippies in the sixties on the island of Ibiza.” For him, it defined an attitude of provocation and freedom. My boyfriend smelt this on my wrist and enthusiastically proclaimed “WOW!!!” This was the most passionate reaction to a fragrance yet. Opens spicy earthy wood. Blue marine and tangerine/bergamot has mild shampoo note while flirting with grassy vetiver. Traditional patchouli isn’t recognizable. Turns clean and soft. Doesn’t project enough. Complex and fun to dive into, but doesn’t demand a bottle. Mostly rustic, warm amber with musky jasmine in the background that reads like lavender. On fabric it's more fruity rhubarb. Shampoo chord diminishes dry down. 1ST TRY: Opens warm and cozy. Despite the name, patchouly is more cinnamon/frankincense. Gentle, dry floral notes balance amber spice in a way that’s not feminine and a welcome change of pace. Flower reads more classy than elderly with the comforting depth of a used bookstore and vanilla. Overall, great! Despite being safe, it’s elevated by an exceptional blend that keeps bringing you back. Radiates fun energy while still mature. Medium projection could be louder, but nitpicky, because it’s not bad. Flawless duration. If you like this cozy warmth, try Aedes de Venustas "Cierge De Lune"

A floral-patchouli chypre with a warm amber center. Sweet-heady jasmine blends perfectly with the powdery and slight lemon scent of olibanum. Patchouli seems to take a backseat to the trumpeting floral opening. Geranium adds a hint of vegetal freshness, while amber lends its central warmth to the symphony. Oakmoss grounds this airy accord with an earthy pungency. I will echo those before me in saying that I initially believed this to be an unusual pairing between a white floral such as jasmine and a hippie inspiring patchouli. Although this is a frag I will likely never purchase, there is a respected artistry here in this most unexpected of juxtapositions. One of Ramon's best works. (59)

Mon Patchouly by Ramón Monegal is earthy, deep, and woody. The patchouli is rich and robust, with a warm and slightly spicy earthiness that feels comforting. This is complemented by subtle touches of floral accords that soften the earthiness of the patchouli, In the base notes I detect hints of vanilla and musk adding a velvety smoothness to the fragrance. Mon Patchouly performs very well and stays on the skin for a long time, but the sillage is moderate. This perfume is a good balance of earthiness, florals, and subtle sweetness, working well in various settings, from daytime to evening affairs.

I've tried many patchouli scents, and this one stands out. I definitely get the herbal 80s-90s classic men's beastmode perfumes vibes thanks to very prominent and even piercing oakmoss, spicy, and patchouli notes. Unlike most modern patch scents, which often have a warm chocolate undertone, this patch has medicinal and even metallic-y facets. This is a classy and unique scent. Niche, but to my nose it leans more masculine.

Opens quite sweet, almost like a synthetic grape soda pop, then after a few seconds you feel a strong indolic jasmine, this jasmine is apparent throughout the whole wear and i would even say it prevails over the pathcouli note (despite the name of the perfume). The patchouli note dosent make a real appearance until the deep drydown, overall quite nice, but i find the jasmine abit challenging as a guy.

Mon Patchouly is a clean, classic masculine fragrance. The patchouli is resinous and warm rather than earthy and dirty or camphorous. The most discernible supporting notes are geranium, cinnamon and a radiant jasmine note. This feels plush and refined. I imagine it would be the perfect addition to a well tailored grey suit.

As a heavy patchouli lover and 'freak', I'm very happy to report that thank goodness I did NOT blind buy a full bottle of this. I was super close on pulling the trigger on a FB but the Universe protected me by finding me a 2ml sample of this "patchouli" perfume. Thanks for protecting my wallet, Universe! Anyways, reading rewiews and notes on this perfume I was intrigued about the white floral (jasmine), the oakmoss, and of course, patchouli mix. Luciky, a few sprays on my wrists and hot points was enough for me to feel a huge level of disappointment. Disappointment only because I am still looking for anything patchouli in this "Mon Patchouli" perfume... Maybe because I'm used to real patchouli bombs and some others with at least an evident patchouli presence, but this to my nose has close to nothing of that. So basically, no patchouli to be found anywhere. Perhaps on the very late drydown, an imaginary wish, probably created by my longing wish that this perfume actually smelled like, patchouli. Having said that, opens up with a stinky almost skanky and heady indolic sweet jasmine note, nothing else, and it can be a bit overwhelming for untrained noses. It then moves to a very strong salty-ultramarine-metallic smell where I find very strong metallic aldehydes in there. The rest is history (in a bad way). It remains like that for hours with maybe 1-2% change. So, if you are looking for a real patchouli perfume/note, steer clear of this perfume and go look elsewhere, this is NOT for you. You will only be disappointed by the fact that a perfumer with a good reputation such as Mr. Monegal can create something and name it a totally different thing. Wallet saved, extremely average perfume from any angle you look at it, dries down into a cheap designer fragrance, and good riddance Mr. Monegal.

This is a patchouli fragrance for those who dislike patchouli, is a light version of a flowered-patchouli, quite versatile (I think that it will work nice in Spring/Autumn in day and night), it has two stages, the first two hours is more modern, nice and clear, and from the second hour until around 6 hours that it last it turns to a kind of cheap 80's men cologne smell. Projection 1 meter during 1 hour/1 hour and half. Bad quality of ingredients, and simple smell, it adds nothing to the game, there is no reason to buy it.

God, I hated this. It gave me such a bad head I had to scrub it after an hour. Like the worst of Angel, which I also loathe. So disappointed - Kiss My Name was heavenly but this is really vile. There's a bit of chocolate in there too and a touch of a floral heart, white florals, but not enough to make up for that skull-splitting top note.

On my akin it smells like Raw Egg. Couldn’t bear with it.

I WISH I got watermelon or even patchouli for that matter. All I get is fecal matter.

@ARR22 No, you are not the only person to pick up the essence of watermelon in Mon Patchouly. I first tried this fragrance on my birthday in 2011 and I picked up the watermelon on 1st spray and immediately bought it along with 3-4 bottles of other niche fragrances. It was August and I live in Los Angeles just to give you some back drop. Summer heat in LA can range from high 80s to 110° or more. We get both dry heat and moist heat vs a dry Arizona or a moist Miami type heat. Savvy Fragheads know fragrances react differently to temperature, body chemistry etc blah blah blah... I'm not going to address the multiple notes I pick up but I will speak about the watermelon olfactory experience I get as a result of the climate I'm in. IMO, it's exactly like sucking on a watermelon Jolly Rancher whilst catching wafts of the juicy melon as you open and close your mouth in the summer breeze. The scent is not candy-like in any way but that is the best way I can describe the melon essence I get from Mon Patchouly and I LOVE IT. Sadly, I'm still clinging to about 20ml from that bottle and the newer bottles have lighter, yellowish juice vs the blood orange rum colored juice from the 2011 batch. I still don't give a damn!!! When this 20ml is gone I'm buying another bottle of that new yellow juice! Yes, it's THAT GOOD. I may find the burnt orange juice online someday who knows. Mon Patchouly is a lights out performer in the heat. 12+ hrs easy. I can still pick up wafts of it the next day after showering and applying a different fragrance. If you're having a bad experience with the longevity it may be related to the temperature where you are. Mon Patchouly will continue to project as long as heat is involved. As an example, I had a full workout in the AM (before showering) after wearing Mon Patchouly the previous day. This thing came back to life like a zombie from the Walking Dead. I could feel and smell it radiating from my pores. I've gone thru 200+ bottles over the last 10 yrs or so and there are very few (maybe 15-20) fragrances that I would purchase a 2nd time. Mon Patchouly will be a 2 bottle purchase for me...10/10!! ====================== **Shot out to Hacivat by Nishane...Another 12+ hr performer in the summer heat with pineapple as the star! When I use my last 35ml, I will be getting a 2nd bottle of this beast as well.

مون باتشولى من ريمون مونيخال الانف الاسبانى ذو العلبه الدائريه وغطاءها العجيب التى تجعل من رش العطر شيئا صعبا. سيخذب العطر عن طريق اسمه محبى الباتشولى ليصعق من يقتنيه بانه امام عطر ابعد ما يكون عن الباتشولى مكونات العطر كما هى مدونه عنه اوراق الباتشول الاندونيسى والياسمين المصرى العنبر والجيرانيوم وراتنج الاوليبانم وكذلك طحلب السنديان العطر يحمل بدايه زهريه من الفل الذى استاثر بقوته على العطر فى المجمل مع ملمح بلسمى ربما من الفانيلا وجود الباتشولى كعنصر مساعد وليس رئيسى فى العطر وهو ليس الباتشول الارضى ذو النكهه القويه وانما وجود الجيرانيوم والراتنجات خففت من حدته . بعد دقائق من رش العطر تظهر نوته مثيره للغثيان لا اعرف من المسئول عنها -ربما جوز الهند -...رائحه زفره جدا لكنها ليس مالحه مثل روائح المارين التى تمتاز بها الروائح الاكواتيك المقرفه التى تدعى شبها بروائح البحر ...النوته التى تظهر اقرب ما تكون لرائحه ((زلال البيض)) ... لك ان تتخيل ....وممزوجه بالفل كمان . ينبغى ان يتحلى من يكتب تقارير عن العطور ان يتحلى بالوسطيه وان يبتعد عن مهاجمة العطور التى لاتناسب ذائقته ...لكننى مع هذا لاالعطر لا انصح حتى بتجربته لانه يستطيع ان يغير مزاجك للاسؤ ويجعل تكره العطور ومن يرتدونها. على العموم بعد خفوت هذه الرائحه ينتهى العطر برائحه فلورال بلسميه هادئه قريب من البشره .. عطر للنسيان .......نسيت ان اقول ان اجمل ما فى العطر لون مائه الاحمر العنبرى المثير ..ياتى العطر فى زجاجه 50 مل وبسعر 180 دولار امريكى.

Mon Patchouli by Ramon Monegal- This fragrance smells very good, However, it is on the gourmand side. The longevity is great so that it remained detectable on my body eight plus hours, however, not as heavy as the first two hours, it then slips into a moderate sillage for the remainder of it's parade. Although Patchouli is listed as the leading star of this performance. It is Vanilla who overpowers Patchouli and Olibanum (Frankincense) in this battle of the Notes. Jasmin and Bourbon Geranium stand tall in the opening but eventually succumb to Vanilla's dominance, In the end all the other notes ride under Miss Vanilla, yet faintly detectable, with Monsieur Patchouli singing second harmony, but under the saturation Of Miss Vanilla's band-standing ego. Miss Vanilla! What are we going to do with you? It was supposed to be Monsieur Patchouli's night out and you stepped all over his coat-tails. You, Prima-donna! So there you have it folks. If you like your Patchouli on the submissive side then this rather delightful fragrance is for you.

Finally I've tested it over the week end. Few sprays on my inner arm. As in Impossible Iris it projected good for the first hour even though I haven't brough my arm near my nose. Also I found out that this is bright enough for use it in Spring. Enjoyed it until it became skin scent at 2nd hour, again as in Impossible Iris. Longevity is around 8 hours. Leaning towards masculin. That explains why my wife enjoyed it on me. Amber sweetness is there at all times and jasmine is lurking time to time. I wish its projection was more than an hour then I may purchase my very first Jasmin fragrence for Spring / Summer, for the office. Still... I'm thinking of another test for sure.

This one unfortunately did not work on my skin. It’s patchouli without a doubt, but dressed in a somewhat citrus-marine accord reminiscent of calone (in the style of Aqua Di Giò); that came across (on my skin) as salty seaweed and sea moss rotting under an intense sun permeating the air next to a bush of dried leaves resisting to cease existence. The “olibanum” gives it a tinge of darkness that translates to smoke, but mixed with the salty marine aspect, it just doesn’t work for me. Lovers of ADG will certainly love this, as it pays homage to classic gentlemen colognes of old; an ode to vintage in a modern style. Very interesting scent, just not for me.

I was given a sample to test and wow, this is really good. I usually cannot take oakmoss but this one is added at just the right amount to give an edge to it. The patchouli and jasmine with a touch of oakmoss in this work really well in harmony to create a wonderfully blended scent. IMO, this one is definitely a unisex scent but leaning towards feminine side. It does remind me of classic women fragrances. Very good projection on my skin for the first couple of hours. Just be careful where you spray it as it may be a bit harsh at the opening. It gets 4 out of 5 from me. I like it!

I completely agree with the three elegant gentlemen who have left reviews before me, this is an amazing and surprising scent. I was fearing the usual patchouli "funk" that one often gets with this ingredient. But Sr. Monegal has lifted this humble ingredient to soaring heights as Signor Fiorenzi so beautifully puts it. This is a must have perfume. The jasmine and patchouli together are the most amazing and unusual pairing I have seen in a long time and the result is pure perfume art.

This is a very interesting patchouli scent. It has a sweet jasmine note that softens all the rough edges, the moss and the geranium are noticeable but not overpowering. There is something fresh and airy that contrast with the earthiness of the patchouli. The amber note probably is synthetic and vague because I don't find this scent to be warm and ambery at all. I would use it if given as a gift, but I don't think it is feminine enough for me to buy a full bottle.

This is a patchouli of a vintage variety. Strong indolic jasmine in the opening that later makes room for warm, non-churchy incense. At 2 hour mark there is ocean breeze coming from somewhere, very surprising. To me it radiates a rich aunty energy. And who wouldn’t want to be a rich aunty from time to time.

Patchouli masterpiece. I got one recently. Starts of like a vintage scent with classic florals oakmoss and of course patchouli. Very Unisex. Leaning towards masculine. Quite linear. But the sillage is gorgeous. Superb longevity for something of this sort. Masterfully blended. I love it. Love it. Love it.

when you break the notes down, its actually not bad - I get a pleasant sweet grape smell, and then something almost aquatic, and a heavy mossy/dark green aroma. but somehow together its just a cacophony between fruit, something sweet, something fresh, and something woody.

Patchouli magnetik by maison criveli seems to be an exact copy of this one. Both are equally offensive to my nose... I love patchouli but what these 2 have done to it, is horrible

I am a patchouli lover but this one is my least favorite of all the ones I put my nose on. It is weak, floral and fruity sweet. Strange.

I'd waste a lot of money if it weren't for poorboijosh. Just saying.
