I love this!!! It's gorgeous. Beautiful and sweet; divine vanilla and patchouli and myrrh, with delicious citrus right at the beginning and beautifully carries on all the way through the whole time! Honestly the patchouli is fabulous. Deep, earthy, herby and sweet and rounded. It's a fabulous perfume. The saffron is stunning, and the tonka beans and vanilla and the beautiful sandalwood and musk. All makes a lovely creamy sweet, oriental, spicy, incensey dream!!! It feels just how it looks. Rich and passionate!!! It's the most gorgeous bottle and the colour is OMG!!!!! Beautiful!!!!

I'm sorry for those who do not understand this scent. Its gorgeous. So unique and spectacular. If you don't understand myrrh, don't buy it. If you don't like patchouli, don't buy it. If you don't understand saffron, don't buy it. I have quite a large collection and have smelled hundreds of fragrances. This one won me over with first spray. Made it to my top 10 list. The box says, "From an adventurous tale of love and escape, a sumptuous dream of fruits, spices, and precious resins." Thats exactly what you get!

Very gentle, vintage leaning, powdery and aromatic fragrance. I mostly detect myrrh, citruses and marzipan, also vanilla- and the kind that doesn't give me a headache, maybe due to its careful dosing. I find Eleonore to be really comforting, like a hug from a kind and elegant woman. I really like it but it's a skin scent.

I have a tester size, but I’m not mad about it. It has a musty, dusty smell right from the start. There’s a lot of patchouli, which is nicely done, but the rest of the notes are very dull. I won’t be purchasing a bottle.

this smells like a fancy cleaning product.... blind bought this and have gotten complaints not compliments about my perfume. definitely not for people who are sensitive toward strong smells.

Usually I dont leave reviews but really want to say dont buy blind this perfume. I almost did regarding the notes and the story but I had the chance to test it and found it incredible sintetic and bad smelling. gourmand? Smells like nail polish. Or shoe polish. Sorry.

Lovely retro bottle but the scent inside flops a bit, not sure the lemon n myrrh aren't having a fight. Expected to love this from the notes but found it odd then dull.

The bottle looks vintagy , I would love to have it in splash bottle
