Rue Rance Eau De La Couronne

Smell like the more citrus version of Pauline. A citrus, violet perfume. Hmm... smell familiar to Feerie EDT.

Gorgeous fruityfloral that reminds me alot of J'adore EdP. The also share several notes. Fresh, flowery and a bit fruitysweet. A great blind-buy. Perfect for summerdays/nights. timeless - both teenagers and adults who likes floralfruity scents can wear this one. Underbar fruktblommig doft som påminner mig mycket om J'adore EdP. De har många gemensamma doftnoter. Fräsch, blommig och lite fruktsöt. Perfekt blindköp. Suverän doft för varma sommardagar/kvällar. Tidlös - passar tonåringen lika bra som den vuxna kvinnan som gillar blommiga/fruktiga dofter.

In the words of diabolical Miranda Priestly: "if i smell freesias anywhere, I will be very disappointed!" ...and that is the predominant note here, from start to a quick finish of this juice. It gives in just very little to fruitiness of a melon and a creamy gardenia that almost appears, but at the end of that creamy/fruity intermezzo unfortunately it settles for a freesia only. It is a real disappointment from respectable House of Rance 1795 It is not a total catastrophe, if you like this particular flowers scent...but if you do not like it, like some of us-RUN YOU FOOLS and don't turn back. Not ever!

To my nose, Rancé 1795 RUE RANCE EAU DE LA COURONNE is far more floral than oriental! In fact, this packs such a punch of freesia, that I am reminded immediately of J'ADORE, ASTOR PLACE and BELLE DE NUIT! Because of the fruitiness and the resinous quality, which imparts a very perfumey quality to the composition, I cannot really believe that this is a faithful representation of a fragrance created two centuries ago. However, it does smell like a good rendition of some combination (a hybrid...) of the above modern perfumes! The tangible (sniffable...) fruity quality in this perfume is vaguely reminiscent also of FERRE edp. Golden and shimmery. Again, the J'ADORE concept as well. But the keyword here, when all is said and sniffed, is: Freesia. If you love freesia, you may love EAU DE LA COURONNE. If not, you'll want to stay very far away...

I get creamy white florals and melon... admittedly I can't recall the smell of freesia specifically so maybe it's there and I can't pick it up. I usually avoid melon and apple because they can be a bit juvenile/Bath & Body Works-esque but these are high quality and well-blended and don't give that vibe. I exclusively wear this in warm weather and it doesn't go sour on me at all

This scent is perfect for hot, humid weather. I find that the longer I've worn it, the better it smells. Never has it turned sour on me as the day goes on :) This fragrance reminds me so much of D&G Light Blue and Crabtree and Evelyn INdia Hicks Spider Lily, which both have a special place in my heart. :)

Everyone else is saying freesia.. I mostly got what feels like a blast of melon upfront & I do not like melon at all.. do freesias smell like melon? To me this is a rough little fruity floral verging on sour, sorry, not impressed with Rance as a house on the whole.
