Rue Rance Rêve d'Été

Spring fragrance, just when everything start to blossom. Its fig leaf dominance smell brings calmness for me and florals which are not outdated. Moderate sillage and longevity.

A really light fresh slightly fruity fragrance. Tropical girly candy! Such a shame it is barely detectable.

A sophisticated tropical punch !

Imagine a Matryoshka , with those many layers, one on top of the other. Well, that's how Reve d'ete is: both woody green, lactonic creamy, fruity, and slightly citrusy. Rance has sophisticated perfumes and Reve is no exception to the rule. The ingredients must be of very good quality if the result is so natural and realistic. It has nothing in common with the tropical type or they suntan lotion specific to coconut perfumes (otherwise the notes are so well blended that they are hard to distinguish). The predominant note is the fig, the one freshly picked with the milky juice that runs down your fingers.... yummm. It's beautiful, it's bright and solar like a sunny day.

This is a very fig leaf forward perfume to me. When I first purchased this, the green note almost made me nauseous. As I’ve been wearing this for the past two weeks I’ve noticed that has subsided and it has developed into a sweeter, more coconut like scent. You gotta have patience with this one, but it’s good. I see myself wearing this as a base perfume for layering in the springtime.
