Attar Al Boruzz Jazeebiyat Musk Tabriz

Jazeebiyat Musk Tabriz was gifted to me by someone who didn't care for it. I'm thrilled to have it, but wanted to share some impressions since I don't think this is a safe blind buy for most people. To me, the dominant notes are the tuberose and jasmine. This is a sharp white floral, softened by the fruit, vanilla and woods. To my nose, the vanilla is almost imperceptible, and the fruit/coconut are subtle impressions along side the starring white floral notes. I don't have many oud scents in my collection but this doesn't resemble any oud I've smelled before, and I would not have said that it contained oud if the description didn't list it. From my description so far you should realize that the style of this fragrance is very different from the current trends: it's probably closer to the style of 80s powerhouse florals (think Guerlain Jardins de Bagatelle) than to modern fruitchuli or amber florals. if you love sharp white florals, seek this out, otherwise give it a pass. Update: I first reviewed this in February, a cold dry month in Milwaukee. I'm trying it again in late May with 78 degree F weather and this just sings (stunning, intoxicating!) I updated my rating from like to love. I wouldn't change anything I said above, but would encourage you to try this in warm humid weather!
