Yes, a sharp cowshed fecal blast to start with. I'll tell you about this at the end. After forty minutes or so it's calmed right down. The skank has died right off. Then for the next eight hours it stays close to the skin and changes a lot. Sometimes I get a gentle whiff of delicate natural rose. Sometimes it's a creamy sandalwood. I detected what I thought was honey and caramel too. Interesting, gentle and smooth to me. No powerhouse except at the very beginning. I prefer this one to Faquat Lil Rijal which has some similar traits but perhaps is a little more rough and ready. Right, the start. There's a guy at work who is getting into fragrances. We sometimes talk about them and I often bring something in for him to try. We mostly meet at the end of shift by the clocking out machine. This is where I spray him with whatever I've bought in. It dries down on him on the drive home, his wife and daughter judge the scent and offer a Ye or Nay to go with his opinion which is sometimes acted upon and purchased. Anyway, there's perhaps twenty men standing at the clock waiting for it to roll over. I spray my friend and just about everyone offers a caustic opinion. The phrase "cow shi+" was heard more than once. Stick with it. It changes like you won't believe. Another Rasasi hit for me. Beautiful.

I would not call myself an expert on oud perfumes or perfumes in general. I usually like something that most people discourage. There are also not many perfumes that would shock me in any way. They may surprise, but not shock. Jurrah, however is a completely different story. I am shocked how little it costs and surprised how well it smells. It has a small connection with Le Labo Oud, especially when it comes to animalic part of it, dry down reminds me rougher version of Hamdani. In Jurrah you literally feel the rotting wood and wet tobacco leaves that will create on your skin layer of immortality that plays as a magical musical instrument you've never heard of. I don't want to write an essay here, everyone has to form their own opinion but let me tell you... it's beautiful.

Haha! Smells like a zebra or an elephant enclosure at the zoo. I enjoy it a bit, but I’m not able to wear it because my wife hates it!!!! Haha. Update: I’m home alone today haha. I put one spray on my wrist...even just for me I was scared of more than that. It honestly smells like pineapple and elephant exhibit at the zoo. Not horrible but would not appeal to most haha.

After letting this sit for more than a year it has become a dry smell of parquet. Opening still has somewhat pungent smell of puked red wine but that fades away in minutes. When i first got this it smelled straight up circus. Wifey got traumatized smelling this one fresh and now im only permitted to using it when home alone.

Stay away if you don't like animalic oud I like the Saffron-oud combo .. but the oud here is very animalic i think Faqat Lil Rijal is a better choise scent: 6.5/10 sillage: 8/10 longevity: 10/10 i can smell it on my shirt after 24 h ! Versatility : 3/10 only winter

I don’t understand "poop" parables here. If I wanted to describe this maliciously, I would say this smells like "vomited raspberry redwine on oak parquet" . Sweet, wooden and sour. Not even so bad, come on...

I tested it today. There have something unpleasent in the beginning of the aroma...something animalic or dirty! After 15-20 min the fragrance become good..but this starting note make this perfume unpleasent! Try it before buying!!!!

barnyard piss oud that is a little sweet and fruity but smells sour

I created an account just to review this. Here goes... This is so unbelievably bad it's hilarious. It smells something like shit, wood shavings, and something sour. I had to wash it off because it was making me nauseous. The bottle is really cute though. I'll just tell people not to open it, for their own protection. It took around 12 hours before I was able to get this hideous odor out of my nose. I'm trying to figure out why anyone would want to smell like this. Part of me wants to say that this "fragrance" is a joke. You know, someone at the company thought it would be funny to create something really awful and see if anyone would buy and wear it. Edit

I would like to say thanks to the kind Fragrantica member who recommended me thi sfragrance after reading my review on Swiss Arabian Dhen al Oodh Malaki. THis fragrance is everything I wanted that one to be. The opening is very similar: very animalic oud with ripe sweet fruity notes that complement the oud beautifully without taking over its territory in this fragrance. While I love orientals, ouds, and particularly this type of barnyardish animalic smell I don't have an educated nose and I admit I do not really detect the floral notes listed above except rose but I smell leather instead that is not mentioned here. The good thing - for me - is that this ripe-fruity-sweet barnyardish oud stays way longer here than in the Swiss Arabian fragrance, the projection is better, too and I don't get that bitter facet that reminds me on an empty ashtray and that Dhen al Oodh Malaki has on my skin. This is a beautiful naturalistic scent for both men and woman, something that one may wear for his/her own pleasure at home, I really feel to be connected to Mother Nature when I smell this on myself, and I associate this scent with Life, yes, with capitals. Probably everything that is very important in life has its beauty and an 'uglier' side as well from intimate moments to giving birthh to a baby, to raise children, to find ourself and accept and respect ourselves with all our ugl properties, those that we would happily hide in shadow... but we just don't need to do that. We are complete with all these beautiful and ugly properties just as this fragrance reminds me. It's instant love for me. Unfortunately I can't see it anymore on Rasasi's site, maybe it was limited edition and has been discontinued. If you are interested in a fragrance like this, that is magnificent and disgusting in the same time, give it a try if you have the chance to test it.

Let me first say that the bottle and packaging are quite nice for the 30 euro you pay. I got this 40 ml bottle in aug 2019. You can find this fragrance for good prices at discounters. In the opening i get a quite piercing, sweet and to my nose raspberry like smell. It's quite overpowering at first. I don't get any animalic or pungent oud smell at all. For me this just screams sweet rasberry from the opening until about like the 45 minute mark. Then the very piercing sweet fruity notes soften down a bit and you're left with a less strong version of this for the duration of the fragrance life.. (the rasberry smell might be the saffron, since i have no idea how saffron smells tbh) Anyway, I've had some experience with oud scents over the last few months (Faqat Lil Rijal, Mancera Sand Aoud, Boss Bottled Oud, Tom Ford Oud Wood, Gucci Intense Oud). The oud in here is not barnyard/pungent at all to my nose. To be honnest, i don't really get a prominent oud smell at all from this. Maybe it's my nose or i got a bottle thats more fruity.. Anyway here are the stat's for me: Season: Winter and the colder days of fall/spring Longevity: 8+ hours Projection: I found it projecting great for the first hour or two. Then it slowly but surely goes to being more or a skin scent. Silage: People will detect it after being in the elevator you exited 5 minutes ago. So yeah its nice! Overall: The price is good, but really i expected/hoped for more of an oud experience. If your looking for skany/barnyard goodness.. this is not it. If your looking for an well priced, sweet, good performing middle eastern style scent, this might be for you.

Perfectly (almost) poopy, but short lived. I want that poop heaven all the way. Don't get me wrong, I don't like poop, but when is done right in perfumery, it's an ecstasy. This could be it, mainly for the price point, whereas others fork our wallet for manure delicacy. It's nicely done, in the veins of Oud 27 (LL). The poop is sadly quick dissipated and you're left with some oud, wood and spices. After an hour or so it sits close to skin. Bottle worthy for heavens manure sure. Update: finally got a bottle (a few actualy, it's darn good and affordable). The animalic is quite long lasting from what I previously noted, mixed with a tad sweet-ish vibe, almost like chocolate. This is an absolute jackpot for animalic scents lover like myself. Enjoy!

Rassasi Jurrah. A wierd, ripe, pungent oud fragrance. Must endure a challenging horrendous opening, but settles to a woody moulchy, slightly smokey funky smell that lingers. Weirdly fascinating. Did I mention the words horrendous & challenging.

The initial spray is piss with oud. This is not for daily wear, and not for average noses. You need to understand oud to like this kind of scent. Nevertheless, I'm happy about this blind buy. I like being choked!

Anyone else get grape Fanta and Oud? That’s what this smells like upon first spray to me 😅
