Hawas Atlantis

Firstly, the notes are dead wrong, and the picture as well; don't know why Fragrantica is not updating this. That being said, I dont know where do I even begin with this, the shitstorm this has caused got my attention more than anything and I did a blind dive anyway knowing the risk fully. The opening is a raw vegetal blast, coming off literally like freshly cut green capsicum (not even joking) which then settles into a greenish citrus profile backed by sharpness of ginger and mineralic accords. Now this entire body has an apparent smoky yet smooth backbone of galbanum that may be offputting to a lot of people and this mixed with the vegetal opening makes it easy for me to understand all the hate. As the opening settles, the sandalwood in the base begins to shine through which honestly to me is the grace and charm of this scent profile that ties everything together beautifully. In the end this transitions into a dark green slightly sweet woody smoky aquatic that is just eerily charming and mature. I won't draw any parallels to this as I honestly do not think this is particularly similar to Invictus or its derivatives, maybe stretching to say Invictus Legend to a faint extent but that may be attributable to the bay leaf note in the latter that resembles the greenish/vegetal accord. Overall, I can see the divide in people, this is nothing like the usual safe reach Hawas releases, but that is exactly why I love it, especially being a sucker for challenging aquatics. Definitely try before you buy, and it may surprise you for the better or worse. Great performance, pushes well for couple hours and lasts long too (8-9 hours on my skin in the initial couple testings) but then I am sure it will develop to get better.

There are a couple things I would like to say about this fragrance 1. It is absolutely not blind but safe 2. Let the opening dry before buying it if you’re testing it out in a store This isn’t a typical fresh fragrance, it’s like a realistic one. There’s a store I go to that sells many middle eastern fragrances, good ones like typical Lattafa, and hawas. I sprayed this on my arm because I enjoyed og hawas, and let me tell you the opening is not as bad as people say it is. Sure it is strong and a little jarring, but it settles into a very unique fragrance. Just imagine swimming in the ocean with seaweed everywhere on a stormy day. That sounds like a terrible mix, but it somehow works. I like to imagine that the deep from the boys would smell like this, just straight ocean, freshness, and seaweed. I don’t know about the performance and all that stuff because I used one spray, and I kept smelling tf outta that one spray and I can’t smell it anymore. I will 100% be getting this if I find it a Burlington or any of those stores, and if I don’t I’ll order it online.

The notes on here are completely wrong. They have the same notes as the original Hawas but just switched around. The notes are as follows. TOP NOTES: Bergamot, Galbanum MIDDLE NOTES: Ginger, Mineral Notes, Salty Notes BASE NOTES: Sandalwood, Cedarwood This is not a safe blind buy if you're not into unique niche style fragrances. I didnt like this one at first but I grew to like it a lot. But it's still one of those fragrances that you have to be in the mood for it to wear it. This a deep underwater aquatic, salty, green, earthy, sun aged wood, fragrance. This is absolutely not for the faint of heart, it's heavy and loud for the first 2 to 3 hours so spray sparingly. The opening is super green, salty, wet sand, and fresh soil which comes off almost "coffee-ish". After about 30 minutes it balances out once it starts to dry down. I get at least 4 hours actual projection and about 8 to 10 hours on skin. This is NOT mass appealing this is an acquired taste. Hope this helps find me on youtube (The Clone Collector)

The notes are very and I mean very wrong, it has some very small similarities to Invictus legend (I really wish it was just a straight up clone of Invictus legend) and Acqua di gio profondo parfum, LV lovers and that scent is mid i dislike it so idk why they would want to add that in here anyway make all of it more green and woody in the opening if you don’t like green fragrances this will not be for you, this is not blind buy safe if possible get a decant or watch lots of reviews (I have a review coming up soon if you want to sub and watch be my guest @benscents), again not bad but also not omg amazing maybe it just needs to sit and macerate for a couple weeks maybe months.

Ok... THIS is exactly what an aquatic scent should be. The end. It isn’t up for debate. Get your noses checked, open your mind, go back to scent preschool and start over because Atlantis is an elite freshie. It almost combines aspects of each hawas here. Beast mode and beautiful. 10/10 HAWAS DOESNT MISS. Edit: bro who followed my review above is an idiot. 🤣 this is completely inaccurate and he must be mental to pick up those “notes.”

SOTD (morning) Just got this one yesterday. I initially assumed it would be pretty close to one of my favorite scents: Atlas. The opening is more herbaceous and green, but the drydown is, as I assumed, it reminds me of at least, for sure but lighter version. If you like this kinda of "dirty clean" smell, I would recommend you buy this one. Again, Atlas is still in beast mode.

Minus the apple these are the original Hawas notes this fragrance doesn't smell anything like what's listed above. This is a deep earthy green salt sub aquatic bomb. I hate it at first then I like it then I don't like it then I start loving it. It's weird have had it on skin twice but haven't purchased a bottle yet. Im still on the fence about it.

I really love this Hawas, salty, marine and sweet fresh, however i knew i already own this DNA and after searching in my collection i determined this is a inspiration of Invictus Parfum with a greener twist, they both share the same soapy sandalwood creamy drydown, compliments are gonna rain with this fragrance!

the best from hawas line, smell unique and suitable with my country weather which is in Asia, Great performance, the drydown is masterpiece, 9/10

Okay this is freallhy good take on OG DNA if you ask me.

This was a blind buy for me. Having heard good things about this line of fragrances, I wanted to give it a try and decided to pick up Atlantis. The opening is VERY strong. A little too much on the green notes, but underneath it is a very pleasant almost sweeter smell. This reminds me so much of JPG Le Beau Paradise Garden, which I also have and like. Paradise Garden definitely figured out how to master a green/aquatic smell. Atlantis on the other hand went too extreme on the green notes. Although, the dry down is very pleasant and the heavy green seems to be almost gone and has the potential to receive a few compliments. The performance is great though. Long lasting and good projection. Would recommend if looking for a green fragrance, just be careful with the amount of sprays as this can be a bit overbearing.

#1730 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this as a spray sample from scentwithsense.com. No this isn’t Invictus. Jesus people, check the notes. Of course I like it because I like original "Hawas for Him” and the notes are identical. It’s "Hawas for Him” in a prettier bottle at double the price. And like Hawas for Him, it’s Rasasi’s take on original Hugo Boss “Bottled.” And others have done this. Good luck telling this from Lattafa “Najdia” and “Sumou", Rayhaan “Granada.” They’re all same-same. This is certainly nice enough for any setting and good quality. But for me these freshies are so commonplace they’re basically gym bag juice. If this is what you want the Najdia is out there for $15, so why spend $60 for this? Good Luck and Good Hunting!

Once more im gonna strongly disaggre with the majority of the community..So i get the weirdeness of the opening,BUT its not soo bad as they are saying and it only last about 10 minutes.After that it just has the classic fresh dna,and what i wanted ti say its that is one of the nost unique concepts of pefume ive seen.It catches the mysterius vibe of "Atlantis" pretty fking well,and it gives that sea-oceanic vibe.So overall for me its a success..Not a safe blind buy ill agree to that.But much hate for no reason at all.It is "Atlantis" vibe indeed! 😁

The opening is extremely green. Smells like cut grass and just an excessive amount of plants. It's kind of reminiscent of that cut grass aspect of greenly. However if you let it sit for a bit and dont bury your nose on where you applied it in the air it's actually quite nice. Very fresh, aquatic, and marine. A decent flanker imo. I like it. Once this really settles the dry down smells like a slight twist of the first hawas releases like a cross of ice or the OG.

So my decant has come and i kinda like how the scent evolve, not my favorite but worth to try . As for the scent the opening is kinda weird, its green, earthy and vegetal kinda scent, after that opening this turn into sweet bublegummy invictus dna, i think it lean more into invictus legend. Performance just like the other is excellent, i didn't really like that opening but maybe it will grown on me.

The least blind buy safe hawas I own. I would say be careful with this. Very nice smell after 45 minutes but before then it smells like a dirty beach with seaweed everywhere. Imagine Galveston dirty water. But the dry down and after really does make up for that horrible opening. Wait an hour before going out with this on.

I didn't like the opening, but after one hour it's really pleasant. I smell some guava accord mixed with aromatics at the beginning that it's weird, but the drydown it's clean and masculine.

A fresh airy perfume that feels like the best scenario to wear it would be at the top of a mountain breathing in that clean fresh air. I like it a lot

Okay opening is very much cut grass,salt water and wood blendered together. The grass might just be "seaweed". You can not get a greener opening probably too much for a lot of people. The drydown you still get that initial grass mulch a bit of sweetness and a bit of wood. The salt water is gone and it's a much calmer scent. It's okay. Definitely different. Might grow on me. This is definitely not blind buy safe. This is out of the box review also got malibu and tropical and they both smell weak a hell. This might have fried my nose or they need some time. By the way this might have inspiration but trust me NO ONE HAS MADE SOMETHING LIKE THIS. Maybe secretion or what ever that famous bad smelling one is. It's far from invictus legends in the opening and mid like miles off and Idk about lovers but I dont think so. This is nuclear and you won't be able to detect anything else at least 15min after spraying. As for the reviewers that don't own this should all be banned from the site.

This fragrance “Hawas Atlantis” is spicy and smells decent (okay). Not bad, not great! Not better than the other Hawas (in my opinion) “Hawas Ice”, “Hawas For Him”, “Hawas Fire”, “Hawas Black”, “Hawas Verde”, “Hawas Malibu”, “Hawas For Him Tropical”, Hawas For Him Elixir”, “Hawas For HerDiva” , which a man can wear or “Hawas Kobra”. Would I buy it again? Not for what I paid for it. Projection & longevity at this point unknown. Now if it gets compliments, I might have change my mind about it (maybe). Now I don’t smell the apple, plum or lemon in this fragrance. Musk, patchouli & cardamom I do smell. I rate this a 6/10 which is not bad nor horrible. Beautiful bottle presentation and box as well.

Firstly, do not blind buy this. Not safe. Second, this fragrance is strange as it smells very different to each person. I think it smells sweet and nutty. My mom thinks it’s smells smoky. My friend thinks it smells spicy. My brother says it smells like oud. My sister says it smells fresh and oceanic. Projects strongly and lasts 8h. Imma give it two months to sit and I’m hoping I’ll be able to smell what the latter do. 2 months later - still smells weird. Sold it. 4/10

First spray its remind me of lattafa tharwah silver dupe for Ralph's Club Parfum, that green note is 100% same. I dont know how invictus legend or ralph version smells, but this for sure got strong green note, i unable to detect any salty or marine in it, it probably more present in outdoor setting. Will edit later if so.

Smells like a very weak invictus legend or I’m nose blind but it does smell very good at first spray but then I smell nothing and not sure if others can smell it or not but I haven’t got a single compliment either

Bit of a strange one this, what I get is the regular OG Invictus with an overload on earthy tones which I think comes from the Patchouli. I don’t get anything in the way of vegetables that many refer to. After wearing this a couple of times around the house, I’m not quite sure where this would fit into my rotation or why I’d chose this over my other frags... I’d pick Hawas ICE over this any day & still think ICE is the best in the entire line for compliments & actual wearability. I’ve heard this referred to as a beast mode frag & a room filler, personally I think it’s neither & seems pretty tame on my skin, sadly it just doesn’t do much for me, had it been more aquatic then it would have been so much better, can imagine I’ll just move this on but I’ll give it a couple more wears before I completely write it off. The most disappointing Hawas flanker I’ve purchased to date for me, despite the hype this has had on YouTube from the likes of Chaos Fragrances, TLTG reviews, & some others, at least Ash from Gents Scents was pretty blunt & said it just doesn’t work & he just didn’t like it, so kudos to him for his honesty & accuracy. Really wish Hawas would do an Acqua Di Gio Profumo dupe, can’t understand why more clone houses are not jumping on this particular DNA especially as it’s loved by so many frag heads.

I managed to get a sample of this and hawas black and I’m highly conflicted it’s like it smells good & bad at the same time. I prefer it more than black but not more than the other flankers I currently have (elixir, ice and fire) hawas BLACK smells like soil mixed with lemon juice to me. But with Atlantis I agree with the fresh salty seaweed opening but then it becomes smoother midway, but then on the full dry down that saltiness comes back with woody sweet undertones idk it’s unique but not for me.

Hawas got me with Kobra. Fantastic scent. Long lasting. Powerful. Exactly what I needed in my collection. Unfortunately, the original Hawas, and now Atlantis, have been huge disappointments. For those of you saying, this one has huge longevery and silage, I don’t know what you’re talking about? It’s extremely weak. Pretty much disappears instantly once applied. Luckily, I got a cheap enough to apply a bunch of times, but, is that really the point? I don’t see this last thing long in my collection.

Even though I find this hawas off-putting, it does live up to the name of “ATLANTIS” dark deep sea, vegetal, salty & metallic like a forgotten shipwreck covered in seaweed so the theme is right even the bottle gradient colour from green to dark blue black was a sign.⚓️🥀 However it’s just not for me I’m not walking around smelling like a fisherman that hasn’t seen land for a year. Too bitter, not mass appealing, very polarising and I’m on the NOPE side of the spectrum.

As much as i like hawas Og i dont like this one, blind bought this one as most of the hawas flankers are good. But this one i didnt like too much salty smells like rotten grass to me. Those salty notes overpower almost every note in this one, terrible bad opening, though u can og hawas vibes in the drydown little. On top of that its a beast mode perfume. 4 sprays of this wont go from your clothes easily 😂first time i am complaining about a perfume to be beast mode!

Tested 1ml and overall, I dislike it. It starts with an aquatic / mineral / salty scent with an okay fresh vibe; however, it dried into something that's spicy / woody, similar to Dior Sauvage EDP. I'll pass. Top Notes: Bergamot, Galbanum | Middle Notes: Ginger, Mineral Notes, Salty Notes | Base Notes: Sandalwood, Cedarwood.

the dry down smells in the same ball park as Club de Nuit Milestone which is a Millesime Imperial Clone. opening is nauseating, fruity tart sharp pungent citrus. it also reminds me of axe marine has weird cucumber, watermelon, floral citrusy slight powdery vibe

Blind bought this one. It’s almost good, I wish it was. But there’s this strong mildewy / moldy stale feeling note in the opening I can’t get past. Dry down is wearable, can’t get past the opening.

Imagine if you went to the beach and threw your wet beach towel and bathing suit into a gym bag, and a bottle of Invictus accidentally broke and got all over everything, but you forgot about it for a month or so and went back and opened the bag. WHEW!!! That’s what this smells like, moldy, mildewy clothes that accidentally got dowsed with a little cologne. It is literally one of the worst fragrances in the Hawas line, and one of the worst in my collection. God awful doesn’t even begin to describe it, and f*** all those so called fragrance influences who were paid to hype this as an Invictus Legend clone! What a bunch of sellouts. But as for this fragrance, let’s just say that this, along with Hawas London, are two reasons why I’ll never blind buy any Hawas fragrances again.

This is not blind buy safe and as a certified hawas glazer, I must say, skip this one. The opening is not pleasant at all and it just gets worse at the mid section. Finally after an hour or so, the dry down is actually decent. What you smell in the opening I can only describe as a very earthy, cinnamon/spicy soil scent. It just isn't pleasant at all. However, once it dries down, you're left with a musky, salty aquatic vibe. I just can't recommend this when hawas has other bangers like ice and malibu that are amazing from open to close. This isn't really unique on the dry down either so it's literally smelly water for 2 hours and then a salty aquatic almost sweaty skin scent. Very disappointed in hawas Atlantis, I really think they should recall this and Viper.

theres zero chance this note breakdown is right. It looks pleasant, tame even. You would expect this to be good, right!? It is a Hawas after all so it has to be approachable, mass appealing, enjoyable and safe. WRONG! THIS IS BOO BOO!!!!!!! The money grab has gotten so blatant. Is there a single Rasasi family/board member with any restraint or prudence? This smells like lawn shavings. Not like a nice lawn, an overgrown lawn with weeds and vegetal plants lingering around. Disgraziad!

Tested this, this is probably the only hawas that I've smelt and disliked so far, this smells like literal wet mud, this isn't earthy this IS the earth, can't say much on how long it lasts and all that I just washed this shit off my hands, this is literally the scent of wet mud/grass don't know why would someone want to smell like that but yeah no this wasn't it.

I'm just here to cosign the guy that says it smells like wet mulch and pencil shavings. It's terrible stuff, though my description would be picking up a clump of mud and old grass clippings and sniffing it. It made me create an account just to post here because I found it so awful and I was upset. Lol

Did yall smell the same invictus legend that I smelled? Because this smells nothing like Invictus legend. This smells oddly vegetal, like green peppers, as it dries it turns a bit soapy. Either way, not a fan Also, fix the notes fragrantica

Tested at the shop with high hopes similar to the OG. NGL, super disappointed as this smells horrible. Like some green mossy damp fungi. Good thing I did not blind buy.

Opening smells like rotting vegetables near the ocean. Drydown is decent, but no way I am going to go through the sick opening to get to the drydown.

In my opinion this one is the worst from the Hawas line that i tried.

@Fragrantica, the notes that you have listed under Hawas Atlantis are extremely different than what @Hawas has listed on their website. And not by a little bit either. @Fragrantica has just copied the fragrance notes from the original Hawas, and pasted them under Atlantis. SOO, that means, some of the review listed below were made by people that haven’t actually smelled Atlantis. They were just making assumptions and posting “reviews” based on the wrong fragrance notes that are listed. Now, smell is subjective, but the folks claiming Atlantis smells like the “original Hawas” and Atlantis is “just a money grab” are wrong. As Atlantis and the Original Hawas have very...very different notes (according rasasistore.com)

man.... hawas is on a generation fail right now. verde sucks, viper sucks, and this sucks. this opens up with a blast of overbearing green/earthy notes and just settles down into dirtiness. theres genuinely nothing fun about this fragrance at all. and i swear on everything that i get a tiny bit of MOLD in this. like that smell when you open a bag of bread and you get a mild whiff of mold and you just know to throw it away. hawas is supposed to be a mass appealing line of scents and they have recently been dropping hot garbage. 2/10

Got it a few days ago and I’ll be completely honest the dry down is 100% leaning towards female scent not UNISEX NOT MALE but straight FEMALE! First sprays or somewhat aquatic fresh fruity and then minutes later all you smell is a lot of sweetness almost like caramel candy. Therefore I will also categorize this as overpriced since everywhere they promoting it as a more male frag which is not! Decant it first and you’ll be the judge. At last this is no where near in the DNA of OG or ICE. Those are still alone on top 🔥

Yeah, shit. I was waiting for something new from hawas. And in fact, all the same notes as the original hawas . Plum, cinnamon. Which makes it hard for summer. Fuck, I was waiting for someone to make at least an attempt to clone Bvlgari aqva atlantiqve. But no. It's difficult. It's easier to rivet mediocrity like invictus. The world is amazing - Aqva Atlantiqve was a strikingly deep marine fragrance, but it was discontinued. And they're still selling mediocre shit and junvictus. People are idiots.
