Hawas Kobra

Side by side Hawas Kobra to Marwa, Kobra clearly has superior performance and has a stronger scent profile overall but there is some minor differences as well which might make one preferable over the other. While Marwa is cleaner and more delicate, Kobra instead hits harder with more distinguishable notes in the opener which carry into the mid. Kobra definitely presents a more masculine version of the DNA and while that would sound like a huge difference I almost believe it is strictly from the sheer power of the fragrance in comparison to Marwa. Side by side on skin they are still similar to the point that an untrained nose would have a tough time telling them apart in the air. What is accentuated in Kobra for the strength is mostly the green tea and the base notes and it still smells very clean I'd say that it has more depth and feels a little less flat. I would actually say straight up scent versus scent I like Marwa more but I feel with this kind of fresh fragrance performance means a lot and so I would give the edge to Kobra but I would not ever doubt someone could like Marwa more. Specifically detailing the dry down in which both become extremely similar the tea note carries heavily through creating the unique clean smell and the real difference is mostly an amber woody tea sweetness versus a cleaner woody tea sweetness. Every once in a while I get a strange note from Marwa that's not in Kobra but maybe that's in my head. Super tough decision to make hard to go wrong with either again I think performance is everything here so unless you'd prefer to be more low key, which might be appropriate for some use cases, Hawas Kobra would be my choice. I believe there is no reason Kobra couldn't work even in cooler weather as well because of it's strength.

The reason why I bought Rasasi Hawas Kobra was because I wanted something that smelled like Zara Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes (another LV Imagination dupe that I have) but with better perfomance. The opening is definitely similar but more floral and a little harsh (probably from the ginger + green tea). To be honest, at the beginning I wasn't enjoying it, mostly because I really wanted the opening to be smooth, citrusy and musky opening of like the Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes, without the floral note and the spicyness/slight harshness of the ginger + green tea. This means my expectations were very specific, being the main reason why I was actually not enjoying it as much as I thought. But, to be fair, after trying it more times, in fact this fragrance still delivers plenty of that citrusy musky DNA very well, so with time it has been growing on me. This scent is basic, but beautiful. This means that its evolution will be linear: basically it begins citrusy, musky with the floral scent following. Then, the floral note starts decreasing, making the fragrance a combination of citrus and musk. This is not the harsh citrusy kind of note you find in a lot of summer fragrances, it actually feels like a "sweet" kind of lemon, probably because of the amber, just like Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes. The scent profile actually has resemblences to lemon iced tea to me because of the sweet lemon vibe it has, definitely not because of the green tea (green tea is not sweet guys!). Perfomance wise, looks very good for this kind of scent profile, that usually does not last. On my skin, projects well for 2+ hours, around 6/7 hours longevity Definitely unisex and an ammazing fragrance for layering, just like sunrise on the red sand dunes. My score: 8.5/10

It is simply..... AMAZING. Probably one of the freshest frags i have ever tried, a top fresh frag in my book it is not only perfect for summer but it is an all year rounder, i have no idea why people vote less for winter, i feel like this can be good for the colder seasons as well. Exceptional longevity almost 9-12 hours, you can wear this any time of the day or night, any occasion, any event, dates, whenever. Sillage is amazing very strong and LOUD which i love and i prefer these type of fragrances, strong and loud it gives you that confidence you need to start up your day. For that kind of price you will get one of the best fresh frags for all year round use, but in my opinion do not buy it right away let it settle on skin or paper and think about it for a day or two if you want but nonetheless a very good fragrance the performance is amazing on this. For gender? it is a men's fragrance c'mon haha, it's not a problem for a women to spray it but idk it's just weird even thinking about it. Verdict: Think it this way: you spray it, smell it and as if you are in a luxury hotel room, a clean room then you ask the portier for a tea and that tea smells so good that you feel better, you boost up for the day giving you the confidence you need for your business meeting, meeting with friends or meeting with the lady you love the most. Overall: 9/10. Why 9/10 you say? It is loud which i need in a fragrance but the performance does not exceed 12+ hours which i am disappointed but nonetheless amazing fragrance.

I don't own the original but if you're not comparing this 1:1, Kobra is a very decent fragrance. Kinda blind bought it considering it's dirt cheap and I am happy with the purchase. Some people are complaining here that it's synthetic but honestly, when smelling it on its own without comparison to the original, "synthetic" is definitely not my first thought. I do own Sunrise On The Red Sand Dunes from Zara and they are similar but Zara is more fresh and definitely masculine while Kobra is more sweet and powdery, and I would even say leaning unisex. Having one doesn't make the other one redundant as Zara is perfect for summer while this one should be good whole year round. Haven't worn Kobra to the office yet but I'm 100% sure it will get compliments if you care about that. Performance on my skin is only average but I do have dry skin and it's extremely hot where I live now (almost 40 degrees centigrade). Maybe it will improve over time. If you like fresh fragrances and you're looking for something that will give you LV Imagination vibes, I think this is a very good choice. But if you're a hardcore fanboy of LV, you should probably skip this one as nothing other than LV will be good enough for you anyway ;)

Kobra is a solid, non-offensive, soapy fragrance, I have not smelled the original Imagination; however, from all the dupes I have smelled, this one is pretty refined. I have yet to try Hectic, though. I will not go into detail on the notes since many people have done that already, but in the initial spray, it is a slight bit harsh, but that went away a minute or so into the fragrance's life. Since then, it projects well for the next 1.5 ish hours, where it is a nice, clean guy scent that has enough complexity to be intriguing to the masses. Afterwards, it remains as a clean hand soap-like skin scent for the rest of its 6-7 hour life. All in all, this is a good fragrance. I used to consider something like this good value for money, but since these clones are getting a bit more expensive lately, and the sheer amount of options out there, I would not give this that title. EDIT: since my original review: I tried marwa and hectic, and both of them dont come close to kobra, hectic is more expensive here in europe and doesn't last nearly enough time to justify it. I found Kobra for 25 euros and got it just to have this DNA. now it is more like "value for money" rating: 8.5/10

Hawas Kobra was one of those fragrances that completely changed my opinion over time. My first impression? I honestly hated the opening. Went from almost regretting the purchase to becoming one of my favorite recent pickups. Hawas Kobra is a reminder that some fragrances deserve more than a single wearing before you judge them.

And yes, the green tea and neroli combo does remind you of that DNA. But here's what my nose tells me: The real ancestor here is Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey. Projects like crazy for the first two hours. Perfect for spring and summer. If you love the fresh, aquatic, clean floral DNA that Issey Miyake perfected in the 90s, you need to try this. It's not a clone. It's an evolution. Bottom line: The new king of the "clean boy" scent category? Possibly.

One of my absolute favorites and a staple in the rotation. If you’re familiar with LV Imagination, you’ll catch the DNA immediately but Kobra isn’t a copy, it’s its own thing. It opens with a sharp energizing blast of bergamot, tangerine, and ginger. The citrus hits bright and juicy while the ginger gives it a spicy almost electric bite that wakes you up instantly. As it settles, green tea, cinnamon, and neroli take over. The tea keeps it clean and aromatic, the cinnamon adds just enough warmth and spice without ever going sweet, and the neroli brings a soft floral soapiness that elevates the whole composition. The dry down is where it really locks in. Musk, amber, and woody notes create a smooth masculine base that lingers beautifully on skin. The musk here is prominent and done right, clean not heavy. This is a wear anywhere fragrance full stop. Office, date night, casual outing, it adapts effortlessly. Fresh, slightly spicy, clean, and sophisticated all at once without stepping on its own toes. Safe blind buy for anyone who loves a clean aromatic scent that isn’t sweet? Absolutely, without hesitation.

So I recently bought hawas kobra, because I wanted to buy my proper first fresh clean fragrance. I was on the edge to buy aqua dubai, but just because I am a really big fan of the hawas line, I bought the other imagination clone, hawas kobra. Now at first, out of the box, I did not like it, somehow it smelled a bit funky, somehow like a bug spray, so I let it macarate/mature, and OMG it did not disappoint, only 1 and a half week past, and it's just 10x better, you get that fresh citrus (IN A REALLY, REALLY GOOD WAY), with a bit of soapiness. In terms of performance and longevity, it didn't live up to the hype, but like I said, as time goes on, it will get better, right now the projetion is strong, and the longevity is like 8 hours (there's a chance I get noseblind to it, will ask some of my friends tomorrow), but as a freshy, you can't go wrong. Right now: Scent: 8/10 (fresh, citrus, soapy) Projection: 8/10 (we are talking about a hawas) Longevity: 8/10 Update: Yea, ts is fire, got me a ton of compliments, one of my classmate said that I smell nice, a fresh laundry scent. Great fragrance overall. On the first spray straight out of the box, I noticed a strong burst of lemon and alcohol. However, after a few days of maceration, the scent transformed into something much smoother and more refined. I haven't had the opportunity to wear LV Imagination, so I can't comment on how close it is as a clone. What I can say is that this is a fresh, clean, and highly inoffensive fragrance that works well for virtually any occasion. The tea and ginger notes are the stars of the composition, providing a crisp freshness, while subtle hints of cinnamon add a touch of warmth and spice. **Final Verdict:** An extremely versatile, year-round fragrance with impressive performance. I consistently get over 10 hours of longevity, along with around 4 hours of solid projection and a noticeable scent bubble—even in the intense UAE heat. Considering the quality, performance, and affordable price, this fragrance offers excellent value for money and attracts plenty of compliments. Great job, Rasasi!

Easily one of the strongest LV Imagination alternatives I’ve tried. Opens with a strong blast of citrus and neroli (calms down after a while), lifted by sparkling ginger. Midway it turns clean and slightly soapy (less so than Arabiyat Marwa and Haramain AMber Oud Aqua Dubai), Later settles into a fresher, airy metallic feel. The missing tea note is a drawback. Missed opportunity really to stand out. Performance is the star: 10–12 hours longevity, strong projection for 2–3 hours, and heavy sillage, all without the usual Ambroxan overload. Bottle looks sleek and premium, though it’s a fingerprint magnet. Don;t pay more than $40 / ₹2800. Sellers are cashing in on launch hype, so wait for that to die. Aerosolized Arnold Palmer. This does well for an Imagination dupe, I have sampled it with Imagination side by side multiple times. The key differences is the citrus being stronger here (which gives the tea aroma more of a half and half/Arnold Palmer quality), the tea note being a little less refined (still wonderful nevertheless), and the overall scent feeling a bit more synthetic and lacking this sparkling quality Imagination has. Given the price difference, these differences are minute at most. The performance is also astounding, superior to Imagination even, 10-12 longevity with strong projection. For the price, this is a 10/10, highest quality Hawas I’ve smelled. The amount of negative reviews surprise me because this is amazing juice if you are a big fan of the Imagination DNA. It was solid out of the box, but after 3 months of maceration it feels more complete and smooth.

It's a beautiful "half-sibling" to LV Imagination that replaces orange notes with this juicy and fun tangerine without the mint notes. When you first spray it you get ginger, tangerine and strong tea notes after a 30+ minutes it settles down to this slight ginger-ish, strong tangerine and floral neroli note with some slight wood and musk notes. The tangerine note is such a more fun note to smell than the ancient but classic bergamot and orange. It also is quite long lasting and projects pretty strong so one shouldn't over spray it. The only thing that disappoints me is that the tea note doesn't stay as strong as it does in LV Imagination after the initial spray and the fact it doesn't have mint in it. Overall a fun twist to the OG that is more masculine due to wood and slight musk notes that I will definitely get another bottle of it.

After two weeks of owning this fragrance, it may be the best Rasasi fragrance! People weren't lying when they said the opening was a harshly unpleasant chemical lemon and alcohol. I've had this fragrance for two weeks and it nolonger opens like that. It sort of jumps right into smelling amazing. The original, Imagination, is always the original and everything else is a dupe or inspired by. Imagination is $400-$500. Kobra absolutely has the Imagination DNA and can be found at online discounters for $50. If you want to argue that Kobra doesn't have the Imagination DNA, which it absolutely does, Kobra is still a great fragrance, a fucking great fragrance! I'm saying Kobra is a must have when the weather is hot because it's so clean and refreshing. When you're being cooked alive in Florida heat and humidity, this scent is a relief.

Great fragrance. I have many Rasasis and all of them are quite strong scents, I don't know about this yet, I need to test it a little bit more. Scent wise, I have never tested Imagination, but I've tested many other soapy fragrances, one of which I have - Massimo Dutti Island Accord. I can confidently say, that it's not the most soapy fragrance I have ever smelt. The ginger and citruses in it are quite dominant and I imagine Imagination as very clean soapy fragrance. The notes that give a scent a soapy vibe: Green Tea and Neroli, are overpowered with Ginger and Citruses. Despite that, it's phenomenal fragrance for its price, very clean & fresh scent with a great longevity and performance, you can not find many perfumes like this, even in the higher price category.

I bought this perfume as a decant (10ml) and I can't wait to write about it! The perfume is amazing! I never liked LV, I'm not saying this one is better, it just appealed to me. I won't go into detail about top and base notes. It's perfectly clean, simple, and successful. What I dislike most about Arabian clones is their lack of complexity and composition, but this perfume seems to have overcome that problem. It has incredible performance for the first two hours, then it becomes very mild. I think the longevity will improve over time. I plan to use it in the summer and spring. In short, it's soapy, clean, and masculine. Although the notes don't match, it reminded me a little bit of The Blazing Mr. Sam... I can't wait to get the full size!

I love this stuff! It smells like a really nice spicy soap all day and into the night. It's kind of odd to have a cinnamon note in a warm weather fresh style fragrance. That's usually something I associate with heavy winter fragrances. I've smelled Bujarami Hectic, Ard Al Zaafaran Saheb Intense, and now this one. I'd say Hectic smelled the best and most complex while also being a beast. Ard Al Zaafaran is less spicy and more fresh, but it's average performance. Hawas Kobra is nice and spicy while also being fresh and louder than either one. I guess that makes it my Goldilocks Imagination clone. This is really good stuff. I'm surprised how much this reminds me of Khadlaj Onyx Silver. The fragrances they are based on must be similar.

My other favorite LV Imagination twist, which has incredible longevity. Hawas Kobra is louder, spicier (i.e. stronger ginger and cinnamon), and has a more pronounced soapy vibe in the dry-down compared to the OG. I find Marwa to be woodier, more incensy, and ultimately more masculine. Both Kobra and Marwa seem to do a better job elevating the tea note over Imagination as well, with Kobra taking it in an almost honey-added tea direction to my nose whereas Marwa is dark spices added to the tea. It's very good and obviously a significant discount to the stupidly over-priced LV. I know it's weird, but I prefer the scent profiles of both Kobra and Marwa to Imagination as the twists they each give come off as more pleasing to me.

I just got it a few days ago and at least for me, its not as beast mode as some people say it is. I have a Jan 2026 batch. It projects well for the first 2 hours, then pretty much becomes a skin scent. By the 3rd maybe 4th hour I get basically no projection anymore. Maybe I need to let it macerate for a while idk. But either way its a FANTASTIC alternative to Imagination. Its linear and lacks the depth of the OG but for the price its well worth it. I love the Imagination DNA and this delivers. Not as refined but still great. I don't own Imagination but i've sprayed it on me many times in the boutique and have been really close to spending $350 on it, and after this purchase I no longer feel the need to buy the OG.
