This is a great take on that formula, blending it in seamlessly with the Club de Nuit Intense DNA and removing the birchwood note from it. The result is a hybrid fresh and fruit fragrance that comes off like the love child of Hawas and Club de Nuit Intense. It really is a tropical take on the Hawas DNA thanks to the strong and extremely fresh pineapple and citrus aromas. You'll also detect prominent notes of vanilla, lavender, and fresh patchouli musk in there as well. Overall a great blend of fruity, citrus, floral, vanilla, amber, powdery and musky aromas. This is refreshing and invigorating and will work great in warmer weather and during outdoor activity use. It's great for both older and younger users though there is a touch of sweetness that may turn off those who dislike sweet fragrances. The birch note associated with Club de Nuit Intense (which it apes from the popular Aventus which it clones) is noticeably absent which will please those who dislike that note. Performance is great and is the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

An obscenely vibrant lavender and pineapple opening for me post-maceration. Overall, a very green, punchy, musky and powdery scent profile with a smooth vanilla-tonka dry-down later on. Decent projection within the first 3 hours or so. Every now and then, i catch a hint of hawas ice in this fragrance which works in its favour. There's a slight unlisted note of coconut, but i don't get much of that or the orange note listed. This is an amazing fresh fragrance for the price, its a pineapple-citrus fragrance that doesn't just feel like another Creed Aventus clone. It doesn't smell that similar to JPG Le Beau le parfum (despite the bottle presentation, of which is really nice but is an absolute fingerprint magnet), or Hawas Tropical. They are two completely different fragrances, with the heavy coconut note being completely absent from this fragrance. Also, this is not a unisex fragrance, it leans much more masculine. Regardless, this is a pretty mass appealing fragrance. It's sweetness might be able to work in the cold, but I wouldn't blind buy it if I was in a country constantly trapped in the winter. Hawas Malibu is a really fun, more mature take on JPG Le beau le parfum. Wear this to a beach day-out, afternoon market or school. 5 sprays is all you really need. (I couldn't mention this in detail, but the lavender note is really prominent, more than the pineapple for me. The woody accord became much more prominent with the maceration, and i generally noticed much greater longevity after maceration. I noted a slight 'rotting fruit' smell in the opening, which goes away after the initial blast. Highly recommend.)

This juice is nice, the bottle is really high quality, heavy and the cap is firm and heavy, and a good atomizer. This fragrance does what i thought both le beaus would do for me, and also purple melancholia, which I own a 50 ml of and enjoy. This opens with a juicier fruit that sticks around for a while, it dials down the creaminess of purple melancholia, dials down the coconut, and it doesn’t go too sweet with the tonka, but it all blends into a very tropical feeling scent, maybe a bit too dense for high heat, but on a summer night this would be killer, I like that the fruitiness sticks around and keeps it from being jsut like a suntan lotion kind of smell, the warm fruity tonka is a really nice blend. This is actually also very similar to cool water intense, another one in this lane I enjoy, I like when these tropical kinda scents have that amber/ amberwood in the base, it adds to much depth to it, makes it smell like a beach vacation evening. This was a blind buy success, $40 from Burlington. I don’t usually like dupes but hawas got some heat I can’t lie, high quality stuff.

Absolute banger! I held off on purchasing Malibu because I already own tropical, but this one is sooo good and is different enough to justify owning both. If you're debating between tropical and malibu, I'd recommend malibu over tropical unless you really want a coconut forward scent. Malibu is easily a top 3 from hawas and I own almost every single men's hawas. I would say this is blind buy safe. Scent profile is 9/10, this projects hard for a solid 5 hours and lasts a good 10 to 12 hours before it's a skin scent. The bottle looks great too. I don't get the powdery dry down other have mentioned. I get a nice musky dry down with lavender, tonka bean and some grapefruit from the opening. Highly recommend hawas Malibu

Tested 1ml and overall, I love it. Since it is a bottle color / look and scent profile from the JPG line of nice products, I may eventually get this instead of JPG, to save money. I am also testing the Tropical scent, which I favour more for the Spring & Summer, a sweeter, bursting scent of tropical fruit. This is a good scent for office and for me it has a nice mix of lavender, grapefruit, and pineapple with a light musky dry down - not as fruity as Tropical, which also has coconut and lasts much longer for me. I can see getting a bottle eventually, due to its nice and unique smell.

This is very tropical fruity yet powdery type scent in my opinion. This does give the hint of jpg le beau paradise garden Edp, but this has its own twist specially in the dry down. This also doesn’t smell like coconut to me, so rest assured. This opens up with a tropical grapefruit and orange vibe, and it’s like an all year around perfume almost without the extreme cold weather. I find this underrated but this is indeed, quite a banger. If someone likes the hawas OG and paradise garden, think of this as a subtle mixture of these two, and this will be likable as well to them.

Side by side with JPG Le Beau, it smells like LB without the coconut which makes this slightly more versatile and closer to a fresh fragrance. I’ve been wearing it for two weeks and its performance is great (6-8 hours on skin but longer on clothes), it’s not offensive so you can really wear it anytime or anywhere. Opening has the sweeter pineapple and grapefruit smell, but on the dry down it’s more Tonka bean, lavender, amber, with slight powdery smell. Blind buy safe? IMO yes 8/10 but you can also smell LB in store to see if this smell profile is your type

a lotion like pineapple/citrusy fragrance with a hint of coconut maybe? it dries down to a powdery creamy almost-vanilla like smell. excellent performer, above average. wore it at an event and it lasted me from 8am till around 11pm but obviously not as strong after the first 3-5 hours. but i could smell it around my neck-space so i can assume its doing its job fine after a long day! edit - got myself a full bottle. the bottle is beautiful! fantastic atomizer. great value for around $30 where im from. definitely a favorite of mine from now on. 9/10 imo.

I don't know what it is but there is a slight hint of coconut when you smell it the first time after a long time. But the pineapple here is really vivid. It's slightly reminiscent of how Polo 67's pineapple comes across. It's really fresh and attention-grabbing. This is comfortable to wear in warm weather, it's not cloying and definitely a good option if you're looking to smell more than just plain shower gel. Not the no. 1 choice for the office but if you wanna sprinkle in some personality, this is great for that.

Absolutely PERFECT scent. This is BEAUTIFUL. The opening blast is a beautiful blend of citrus, super super fruity! As time goes on and it dries down, the musk, amber, and tonka bean show the real beauty of this cologne. This fragrance has the most elegant tonka bean I have ever smelt, it is LITERALLY addicting. I genuinely am at a loss for words to describe how amazing this scent is. This is my favorite cologne in my entire (small) collection. Easy 10/10.

What a beautiful fragrance. This is a winter review as it is currently -20C in Canada. The opening is very sweet and fruity, with notes of juicy pineapple and fruit cake. It dries down into this beautiful powdery amber and tonka beans but still on the sweeter side. The sweetness is not cloying at all, it’s very smooth. The performance is great, 6-8hrs on skin and a couple of days on cloths. The projection is just enough for me. Honestly recommend.

Yo this might be the most slept on hawas because every reviewer glazes Ice and Fire, rightfully so. But Malibu is the more modern and masculine take on that hawas DNA. It's got that shower gel type of freshness, but in a very uplifting way with the lavender and citrus. Has a very nice sweet and ambery base to give it depth. This one got me back into the hawas line and is currently my favourite.

I adore malibu way less coconut by a mile, which made it so much bearable since i don't like coconut to be that strong The iris note in there adds such a nice touch, and bumping up the sweetness just makes it hit perfectly. I’ve got a sweet tooth, so this fits me just right.

I own Hawas Malibu, hawas OG, Ice, and Tropical, but Malibu is definitely my top pick. The citrus sweetness and vanilla are perfectly balanced, making it fresh yet sweet. It isn’t overpowering, but it isn't weak either. It’s a great versatile fragrance for any season.

This isn't similar to Le Beau line, doesn't has the most important note the sandalwood, so this converts the fragrance in a sweet fruit fresh scent more close to 9 pm rebel but not similar, for me is very unique has his own twist. For me smells like piña colada

This Hawas doesn't seem to get as much attention as some of others like ice or tropical but really is an extremely close dupe of JPG le Beau/le Beau intense, which I love anyway so this one is probably my favourite Hawas. Lovely stuff.

I get creamy pineapple and woods, tropical without being sunscreen-y. This is exactly what I wanted for the warmer months and I feel like you could even get away with it for early fall. Definitely needs maturation.
