let me start by saying....what a fabulous presentation...bravo..10/10. now the smell...its very cozy and rich...not cloying or animalic in nature...i have been wearing this for sometime...yet to review it...but i get the up class vibe of Kalemat black..the most wearable chocolaty wood in the world..its clean, lil dark, gourmand like...and lots of amber as well. i think this Junoon Satin is for the most luxurious men/women, who want to remain under stated..away from general public and just enjoy the beautiful mild aroma of it...its probably best for fall night time...if you are gonna get intimate with your lady or man...this is what will smell like making love in heavens.... lovely fragrance...has a tom ford vibe in it..like mild tobacco vanille type but not anywhere near as cloying... these are some thoughts i have gathered so far...and i cant believe my beloved rasasi is producing such quality fragrances...no wonder they are selling so many units of SO MANY fragrances..im lucky to own and experience a lot...from their basic to high end boruzz line...love you Rasasi...someday i wish i could own all their fragrances this is timeless classic...for sophisticated people :) 10/10 in every way...performance perhaps 8/10 :)

"Junoon-Satin, Pour Homme, is an expression of confidence, charisma, and effortless charm. The fragrance opens on the fresh masculine notes of bergamot, meandering through spice-inflected floral accords to culminate in a dark, intensely smoky and woody base laced with a hint of raw sensual energy provided by oud and musk." This is how the perfume is described by Rasasi themselves. This is not an Eastern-oriented perfume, it was conceived in collaboration with a Western perfume house, and this is very evident once you smell it. This one combines western innovation with eastern quality perfumes, making it a winner all the way. It's definitely a unisex fragrance, it has very prominent floral sweet notes which most women can wear comfortably if they don't mind heavy perfumes, and this one is HEAVY. The bergamot is weak, florals are strong, and I can swear I can smell strawberry there although it's not mentioned in the notes! there are some woody oud notes in the background, but they hold the perfume together rather than run the show. Musk is also there and becomes very prominent in the dry down, it is clean soapy white musk. Sillage and longevity, monstrous! Surely a niche addition from Rasasi

Only a tiny bit feminine for a men’s fragrance but this is beautiful, silky and for a confident, athletic, man. A little floral and only very slightly sweet with a touch of leather and oud in the background which grounds it as a man’s fragrance. Two sprays are enough, it’s relatively powerful, with a decent projection such that the wearer will be able to smell it for hours, let alone the others around you. There are similarities with the sweet notes from Al Nashama Caprice or YSL LNDH, except this smells more luxury with gentle leather notes blended in. I tend to use it before bedtime or nighttime only. It’s well blended and there’s no harshness or synthetic sense to it. This is just magic to layer with any other woody, dry, oudy fragrance that is not good on its own and needs a lift because it doesn’t bring citrus or any other problematic or clashing notes. This should be available in 100ml!

So I will be the first to review this gem. Everything about this new line from rasasi screams luxury, starting from the box, which slides upwards to reveal the perfume; the bottle itself is a display piece, very heavy glass with polished cap and base made of heavy plastic to resemble metal, the bottle looks small but it's quite wide which gives the impression it's of small size. It also comes with a pendant hanging below the cap, adding another luxury touch to it. The juice is very modern, sophisticated, and top quality, I can see the light reflection on the skin for some time after spraying due to the oil content. I will give this some time before I dissect the notes, I'm sure it will develop over the next few hours, and since I'm wearing heavy oud already, it's hard to spot all the aspects of the notes... I was in Saudi Arabia when i tried this. The arabs were very generous with their testers. They literally drenched me in this deliciousness. I wore the tester for a whole day. This to me is a constantly revolving complexity. I get different notes everytime i smell it on me and it lingers around my nose constantly throughout the day with it’s different notes that i couldn’t quite figure out what note it was but each note was gorgeously blended. It lasted long on me with great sillage in the middle of a hot Saudi Arabian day that i had to go to a Rasasi outlet near my hotel and bought two of this. Fabulous. Just fabulous.

A beautiful and sophisticated fragrance that smells like luxury. Delicate, but not feminine. A fragrance for a sophisticated gentleman. Good strength and durability. High quality and excellent price. I can see this being worn by Al Pacino in Feeling for a Woman. Overall rating 9/10

The quality to price value proposition is off the charts on this one. It’s a 9/10 and smells amazing! Get all 3 in this line.

This one IMO opens with citrusy/oud...then the gourmand elements start...the sweetness...This one has to go thru a development on your skin,as it is a complex scent.The middle phase is going spicy floral with sweetness,then the final phase,is all the notes smoothed out...the sweetness becomes "toned down" too,otherwise it may have been too much for me. I consider this unisex..but the mid-phase is feminine,until the drydown,IMHO. A very good and complex scent,that I feel may change it's facets on the skin depending on the day.I have had 2 full wearings so far,each being a tad different experience. A quality Rasasi for sure.

The smell itself is not too bad, but doesn't have much character and it doesn't perform really well for an EDP. Very nice bottle I must admit. In the breakdown the first note according to Rasasi is bergamot and I wish it was, because it'd have more character to it. But all I get is the light candy like floral at every stage of the dry down. I agree with Gustav, it's certainly more on the Western end of the spectrum. Rasasi has an amazingly large collection. And I'd love to try many of them since I really like middle eastern fragrances. But as far as I see except for the Yuqawam line, they have no tester samples in the market. And since they have very reasonable pricing for most of their products, I blind bought all my Rasasi frags (5 in total) so far. But I was dissappointed with my last 3 purchases. So I guess until Rasasi's samples in small vials for their larger collection are available in the U.S. market, I am done blind buying this house's products. So if anybody knows where we can find Rasasi samples, please holler. p.s. If the price for this frag was $25 a bottle, I'd say go for it, but it's 75$ for a 50ml bottle. So if you can, try it before buying it.

#46 I tried my best to understand and like it But I personally feeling something is incomplete to picture . Scent is • Sugary floral • No background Note • Pretty much linear • Unisex. It's just Okayish . 6/10

Unfortunately this is another miss for me from the house of Rasasi. This smells like a toxic, chemical, cancer causing mess. Imagine mixing cloyingly sweet aroma chemicals with turpentine. Yuck. Sorry, not sorry.

Super feminine(teenage girl to be precise). Smells medicinal, sweat like and dare i say, snatch. Absolutely horrible and cheap smelling girl's fragrance.

@Houstonx, you can buy samples of Rasasi fragrances from their UK/Europe dealers/distributors, Sama Perfumes. If you google "Sama Perfumes" you'll find them. The samples are not listed on their website. You have to email them with a list of the perfumes you want to try. Then they will email you pricing for each sample and the shipping charge to your country. They are extremely stingy with the sample sizes, by the way. One ml is standard. One or two of the samples I bought from them had even less than one ml, perhaps due to leakage during air transit. But as far as I know, it's still the cheapest way to get Rasasi samples. Well there is one other way, which is to go to a shop selling Arabic products - food, books, clothes, perfume, etc. You could smell the perfumes there if they stock Rasasi. But if you don't have a store like that in your area, then Sama Perfumes is your best bet. @BlackRussian, I totally agree!

Excellent display of unisex. Perfect play on contrasting soft textures and ''heavy'' notes. Both my wife and I feel we can wear this quite easily. It exudes luxury and should be worn on special occasions. I am uncertain about the comments regarding ''cloying sweetness'' etc. This is far from the truth. Please understand that this fragrance is not to be used as a daily driver and you have to be a certain person going to a certain place wearing something special, if that makes sense. If you are going to work and you put this one you are insane. It is so pleasing when you catch glimpses of the scent radiating of you and briefly you feel that balance and opulence. Truly fantastic but only for special occasions.

This is a rasasi’s take over on sweet musky Oud with lots of florals on the background. This 50ml bottle is full of complexity - twisted dry down- gave me a lot of surprising performances in different weathers. I have received the much of this juice wearing it in a rainy evening. Every hour, this is changing its colour. Awesome complexity. Still exploring the bottle. . Yes, this has a vibe of AO- Kalemat B or SS- 24 Oud Edition but #Junoon_Satin has much more vocabularies than them to speak. . Longevity - 6 + Projection - 3 feet first 1 hour 1 feet for next 3-4 hours Nice scent cloud for the rest !

Admins, please add Junoon Velvet to your database! As well as many other increasingly popular Rasasi perfumes like Hawas, Pour Lui Leo, and Pour Lui Crocodile.
