La Yuqawam Jasmine Wisp

Jasmine Wisp opens with an overwhelming synthetic smell that I was quite expecting with most low-mid range Arabian fragrances. However, I do also smell something lovely: To my nose, a fruity-floral bubblegum scent with creamy coconut-vanilla, and a dose of woody & powdery oud that adds some freshness and depth. While it definitely feels like a "budget" perfume at first, I’m going to let it macerate and see how it develops. Its still too over-powering for me. After a while of settling, it starts growing on me. Once the synthetic and over-powering tone fade, I find myself sniffing my wrist constantly. It is a beautiful blend of seductive jasmine, woods, and what smells like bubblegum tuberose - which is otherwise a creamy fruit-cocktail-milk shake (with raisins, a dollop of coconut cream and extra condensed milk). A sweet recall of ecstasy. This is definitely one of the worthy ones. As the fragrance dries down, it leans more into a blend of jammy fruits, structured woods, and resinous oud, creating a deep and mysterious base. Interestingly, this composition evokes the bubbly aroma of a "luxury scented" Downy fabric softener and even one Pantene shampoo, while the creamy, balsamic undertones reminds me of Givenchy's L'Interdit Intense. This specific balance of notes strongly channels the aesthetic of Dita Von Teese, capturing a vibe that is sensual and glamorous. Final thoughts: Stay closer to the skin, but a 8.5/10. Its seductive and addictive. I'm fussy when it comes to Arabian budget dupes, but this is a keeper! Edit: It smells exactly like figs! If I could taste it, I imagine it would be like a decadent smoothie: a lush, heavy-cream blend of frozen fruit, sun-dried fruits including figs and toasted nuts. 🤤🤤🤤

Very, very pretty perfume. I don't know if there has been a change to its composition, however, because on me it's not nuclear in any way. It's got good enough silage and longevity, it's up there for sure, but nuclear, naaah. But guys, this does NOT have any oud in it! What is going on with lots of people claiming there's oud in perfumes where it's not? Is it because you don't know how oud smells at all or is it because the brand is Middle Eastern and therefore you assume there's oud in the notes and your nose starts to smell it (like the blueberry note people claim in Midnight Fantasy, because they see the blue bottle. It's NOT blueberry!). ? I am just very curious about this! This perfume is a fruit bomb with an opening with vanilla, coconut and amber, but those are definitely in the background making the perfume smooth and creamy, but there is no discernible coconut smell. Tonka and vanilla comes back in the base of the perfume, discreetly done. Basically, we are thrown into a fun house filled with fruits, fruit pulp, fruit juices and even fruity candy. Besides jasmin I am not sure of the white florals here; it could be something similar to lily in there, it's bright enough. I like it a lot, but I like Kirke more and I like Amber Oud Gold more too, but not because this doesn't smell as good - it truly does and it lacks Kirke's quite screechy cassis/musk opening- but it's just not as intense (I absolutely adore super strong scents) and Amber Oud Gold's slightly strange, but adorable melon aquatic nature (in the opening). Very happy with it, however, since I cannot afford wearing Kirke as much as I want!

What a beautiful jewel!!! At first, when I first sprayed it, the top notes seemed overwhelming as it felt as if just one spray started to fill the room and my nose got a little overwhelmed. Good thing I left it at one spray on my wrist, because that one spray was just to test how the fragrance would perform on my skin and I am glad I started that way. I did one little spray on my left wrist at 9:00 pm, by 10:00 am the fragrance had just started becoming a skin scent. This is a beast and I am sure it would have lasted 24 hours if I had not taken a shower before then. If the top notes seem a little overwhelming, just wait an hour or so. The dry down is just breathtaking. I was afraid it would be too juvenile but it is not. It feels young and mature at the same time, and to be more specific...It is "bright and sophisticated". Nothing too young, nothing too mature...just perfect for any age and any season. It is so strong that in my opinion, I might find it a little overbearing during the summer, but the amber, the tonka bean, and the vanilla make it perfect for fall and winter. In my opinion, it is an all-around scent. I would not place it in any age or season. It is a perfect perfume for any woman of any age at any time of the year. Of course, it may be better during evenings on hot days and it can be an all-day fragrance during cold months. If you learn to apply the right amount of fragrance, you will be absolutely in love with it. It is absolutely breathtaking!!! I absolutely love this fragrance and for the price, it is a steal. One spray will last a lifetime and fill a room. How much more can I ask for?

I have worn Jasmine Wisp every day, non-stop for the last week because I just cannot get enough of it. Syrupy tropical fruits, mainly passionfruit - I don't detect much coconut. I'm wearing this during a heatwave and it is really shining in the heat - total fruity sexiness. A real compliment getter in my experience - people around me have said how amazing I smell. I do appear to go noseblind to this after a few hours, as evidenced by compliments by others even when I thought it had long worn off. Be aware that this does have that same sharp background aromachemical that Erba Pura and its dupes have, but it's much better blended here and less screechy metallic than in Lattafa's Ana Abiyedh, for example. I can't tolerate it in all perfumes but I can in Jasmine Wisp, it just seems to work. Presentation is superb, like the rest of the La Yuqawam line. A sleek, solid wooden box with magnetic closure houses the frosted purple glass bottle. Beautiful and excellent quality at this price point. My only complaint is that Rasasi don't fill the bottle up to capacity here - you get 75ml when the bottle seems like it would easily hold 100ml. I'd pay a little extra for a little more of this wonderful juice.

I adore this fragrance and has been my best blind buy to date. On the first spray I get a citrus-like blast which is a little sharp and I'm not mad about that, which calms down and settles into a creamy, coconut hug. The fruit doesn't disappear, infact it seems to swirl itself around the coconut, much like a ripple and the white florals just give this a little nudge. From what I understand there are no oudh notes but I think coumarin might have a wee hand in that and give an 'oudh' like wink into the mix? I'm about to make a second purchase of this (I have some anxiety about some of my fav frags getting sneakily discontinued - dammit!) as a back up. This seems to last a pretty long time on me - I have to admit I'm an avid sprayer of clothing instead of skin - I'm trying to hold back the tide of wrinkles from doing their thing and by blasting myself with alcohol (to my mind) I'm defeating all the hopefully good works by certain skin care companies - at least 6 hours+. It seems to project fairly well, I've had some compliments from this and I would recommend this any day of the week......But I don't wanna share it!

If you love fruity scents but you’re tired of them disappearing in seconds (and you would rather not take out a second mortgage to buy erba pura), this fragrance is for you. I’ve seen lots of controversial opinions on this one, which is very surprising! I think the scent is easily likeable and not challenging whatsoever. It’s a fruit-bomb with delicate florals and lots of sweetness. The vanilla is present as well. Smells like a fancy, sweet, syrupy drink you’d get from a high-end bar. The fruits definitely blend together into a tropical symphony rather than distinct notes. My only gripe is that I get absolutely no coconut. But I’ll survive because jasmine wisp is a three-headed beast of longevity and projection. You will get compliments, although it’s easy to become nose blind to this one so don’t reapply! 2-3 sprays is enough. I really do think this is a safe blind buy for anyone who like girly, fruity fragrances. It won’t offend anyone unless you overspray, because too much of a good thing is not a good thing. And the price point is completely justifiable!

I'm not usually a fan of the floral-fruity scent genre, but this one is a gorgeous fragrance. Let's just say that when I smell it on the ladies, I get a rise in my Levis and go weak in the knees. There is just something special about the gourmand tones (vanilla and coconut) that gives this floral-fruity scent incredible sex and swagger. Ms. Wisp is a seductress...and she knows it! Performance is a outstanding in that this fragrance lasts 12-hours and leaves a noticeably lengthy and prominent scent trail for 5-6 hours. Moreover, it easily fills a large room the first hour or two. While I would not say Jasmine Wisp has beastly projection, it is certainly well-above average and this kind of scent trail is not often found in floral-fruity fragrances having some lighter playful tones. So well done! Ladies, do yourselves a favor and put your hands on this fragrance if you want your man putting his hands on you. Gents, do yourself and favor and gift this fragrance to your special someone..you will thank me later.

Looking at other reviews, some say there's strawberry and tutti fruity sweetness while others say there's no trace of jasmine. I do not detect strawberry, I don't really consider this as a tutti fruity scent either, and seriously no jasmine? To my nose, there is a trace of jasmine. Unless I am being fooled by Bulgarian rose (which is not in the official scent pyramid) or something, I am pretty sure it's jasmine. We call it Sampaguita in my home country and I know it well because it's our national flower. For me, it's a lovely scent that can only be perfectly worn by the special, significant other, mi amor, mi dulce... The consensus may be confusing, the reviews here are divisive that's why you need to try this before you buy. Do not blind buy, and do not overspray. ❤️❤️don’t be scared of this fragrantica fam. Just received my bottle today. If you like sweet and berry, this is a more elevated version with a twinge of oud making it a little sharp. When I opened the box I got the same sharpness I do from my montale frags- specifically intense cafe. Once I applied it to skin I categorized it in a similar vein to Lalique amethyst exquise..but without the masculine Carolina Herrera edge that amethyst flanker has. Jasmine wisp is definitely more girly, ripe and sweet. The longer it’s sitting the creamier and smoother it becomes. I’m not getting the coconut directly, but I am getting what I expected. A beautiful bold, ripe berry and oud. Performance is very present but not overbearing. I got my bottle for 50$ on a discount site. It’s worth the cost and the presentation is beautiful. Safe blind buy if you like a sweet berry and know what oud smells like.. 🥂 cheers

i just blind bought this and i’m waiting for it to arrive and i am truly nervous. so many people say they smell oud which is a note that i’m not familiar with so i am very nervous. i’ve also heard so many great things about this fragrance so i am also excited i will update this once i receive it with my first impressions. i love sweet fruity gourmand scents so hopefully this is right up my alley. people also say it’s a young scent (i am 25 ) so fingers crossed this works for me Edit: this is absolutely stunning i don’t know what i was so nervous about. this opens up almost identical to kirke but to me this is a more feminine version of kirke (kirke pulls quite masculine on me in the dry down) this is yummy and beautiful if you are debating on whether to get this , i’d personally say just do it (especially when if you find kirke too masculine)

I just got this today as a blind buy based on the reviews. I just sprayed it on me and at first sniff, it's exactly like Nina Ricci L'extase. I liked that but not loved it so now I'm not so sure about this. I think it's also similar to Fancy by Jessica Simpson which I like but not love. Overall, I think it's a lovely fragrance, I will wear it. I might use it to layer for evening. Unless this settles into something sensational, I would not repurchase it. It has no magic in it for me. **edited** I've been wearing this every day since I first wrote this review and I have changed my mind. It is so beautiful and sexy and it's now a new LOVE. I would definitely repurchase this and It does have some kind of magic in it. It just took me a week to get used to the composition of it. Now it's a huge yes from me.

Oh wow...might be too early to say but new sig scent? Highly likely. This is the girly, fruity perfume of my dreams. Smells like strawberry candy to me, so fun. I thought you guys were lying about getting perfume compliments, but I got one within the first hour of ever trying this. Doesn’t really smell like Midnight Fantasy, but it has a similar vibe and general profile. If you like one, you’ll probably like the other. Update: Yeah, I love this lol. This is my new signature fragrance. It's everything I enjoy in a perfume: fruity and sweet and tropical, but with a creamy touch and slight floral nuance. Absolutely delicious. The amber-vanilla-tonka base is just lovely against the tart, sweet fruits. I go nose-blind to it unfortunately, but based on feedback from those around me, it definitely lasts.

If you liked Kirke, Erba Pura, or Amber Oud Gold you will like Jasmine Wisp. JW has that same fruity dna but it’s much smoother than the other mentioned perfumes. It’s incredibly similar to Amber Oud Gold, however I think that AOG has more of an emphasis on the vanilla on the dry down, while Jasmine Wisp has more emphasis on the fruits. Jasmine Wisp is quite long lasting with strong projection. A guy passed me at work, then circled back to tell me how amazing I smelled and asked what perfume it was. To my nose it’s feminine, however I could see how if you layer this scent with the right lotion and deodorant it would pull masculine. This perfume did take a couple months to reach its full potential. I got it in December, let it sit until February, and have been rocking it ever since.

When I first smelled this, I wanted to label it as “juicy”, but after wearing it for awhile that didn’t quite seem to fit the bill... “Syrupy” is more like it. It’s like the syrup that canned fruit comes packed in. Dense and sweet. It’s just delicious. It’s sexy but sweet and girly at the same time. There’s a sharpness muskiness to it but I don’t mind it. It helps cut through the syrupy sweetness and give it a more “mature” feel, that so many sweet, fruity fragrances seem to lack. It’s far from a fresh fruity vibe. At least to my nose. I think you could get away with wearing this on a date night, as it has a dark and sexy quality to it. And the price? Unbeatable. Truly a solid addition to my collection that I’ve found myself reaching for constantly.

First let me say, I just started wearing this recently. Getting my spring fragrances out and wearing more florals to get in the mood. Jasmine Whisp is such a great fragrance to transition with IMHO. It has a fruity floral light scent to it. I can smell the distinctive peach and passion fruit on me. I’m not getting the citrus notes on me at all. It tends to turn into a floral gourmand in the drydown. Wow so beautiful. It’s very beautiful on me and the longevity is quite nice also. As for projection not sure yet. This is perfect for spring and even into summer. This definitely can be unisex Highly recommended 10/10 FYI: I got compliments as I was running errands, one woman was like “ Wow what are you wearing it’s so beautiful and unusual” 😉

If you're looking for a beautiful jasmine forward fragrance with some sweet, fruity notes for spring or summer, then this is the perfume for you. Honestly though, this could easily be for any season. The jasmine is beautifully done and plays perfectly with the fruity sweetness. It's not cloying or sticky sweet. Just sweet enough to give this a gentle push towards being more feminine, but I think when layered with something more Woody this could also lean masculine. I've just received this in the mail today & it's already a LOVE. I know most Arabian perfumes need to macerate for a few weeks-months to reach their true potential and I'm looking forward to revisiting this beauty in a month or two and seeing her transformation.

This has become one of my all-time favorites. To me, it's sexy, fruity, and dark. On my skin it is beast mode with both projection and longevity, 8 hours for sure. Once the initial bright fruits at the top dry down, I'm left with the sensual fruits and amber vanilla. This reminds me a lot of Taylor Swift Wonderstruck, but a little more grown up, and with a lot better longevity. The only caution I would give is to spray carefully. It can be worn in summer, but in my experience, high heat and humidity make it very heavy and headachey. I reserve this for milder temps, and cooler summer nights. I think this will perform beautifully in the fall.

This perfume proves that you should let a fragrance age and settle before actually judging them. I bought this when it was extremely popular on YouTube & when I got it I only liked it. It’s full of all my fav notes; vanilla, tonka, coconut, pear so when it didn’t immediately grab me I almost sold it but after about 8 months of sitting on my shelf ITS BECOME SO AMAZING. The most beautiful tropical scent I’ve owned. The fruit notes have true depth & don’t come off juvenile. The blend of the perfume is MASTERFUL, I smell every note yet I can’t pinpoint a stand out note *chefs kiss*. Longevity is outstanding even with minimal sprays. 10/10

At first spritz.....your typical juvenile fruity scent that we’ve smelled too many times to count. 🍎🍈🍏🥭🍐🍑🥝🥥. Once it develops, it becomes ADDICTING. Im 25 and don’t feel too mature nor childish wearing it. It’s fruity but I could almost swear there’s some woods at the base even though it’s not listed. You definitely get a “sophisticated fruit salad” vibe and I’m loving it. This is Taylor swift wonder struck all grown up and with actual longevity. I don’t wear it often, but I really should. It’s nothing remarkable or mind blowing, but it’s definitely very pleasing. TIP: I mix mine with cherry blossom fragrance oil and OMG! Mind blown.

Jasmine Wisp is the best Middle Eastern fragrance I have sampled. I was intrigued by the La Yuqawam line by Rasasi as the OG is considered by some to be a good Black Orchid dupe. Was unable to sample that so went with the flankers I could get. I would never have sampled this from reading the notes, I do not consider myself a “fruity/floral/coconut” fan, and never tropical. But this fragrance is so creamy and well blended, and hey, smells amazing on me. I think the coconut anchors it somehow although none of the notes overpower. Love it. The other flanker Orchid Prairie is also well crafted but I just can’t do the fennel note...

I have mixed emotions about this one. although I do love the jasmine. it smells like a bit of grape juice and bubblegum. . Somewhat of a sharp scent . I would say around four hours to five on the skin. I’m not sure where everyone is thinking this is such a beast it’s really not. There isn’t much depth to it. I wish they had put a heavier base or a more earthy scent. like sandalwood, patchouly or smoky incense. even woody notes. to ground it and get some depth. Overall it still is a very good smelling perfume. just seems to be lacking something.

Just sprayed on my sample and WOW, love at first sniff. It’s sweet, juicy, fruity, bubbly and a little bit powdery and creamy. In the opening it’s very fruity and the citrus top notes shines, I get a lot of passionfruit. And as it’s drying down it gets sweeter and I almost get a berry like scent. When it finally has settled the powdery and creamy aspects from the base notes comes trough and it’s just so deliciously yummie. This perfume is so well blended that i can hardly detect a specific note. I will definitely get a full bottle.

One of the best perfume I have ever tried.Rich, complex and the staying power...huge.Last for days on clothes, sillage ...very impressive...a coleague told me that she can smell the perfume even if I' m not in the room...but she knows that I was there...Good work Rasasi, this is far far better then any perfume designer I know.Some of them are so expensive and such poor quality, zero staying power.I recently discover arabian scents and every day I find something so different and wonderfull.

This smells very similar to Cosmic by Agent Provocateur. The fruits in Jasmine whisp are sweeter and strong and Cosmic is lighter and airer and is supposed to be a dupe for BR540. Jasmine whisp is also really citrusy IMO, I sprayed it 7hours ago and it is still really citrusy. I don't love citrusy fragrances so I don't know about this. The citrus also does not go away and is a little screechy and out of place. I think I'm going to give it one more chance but I don't like it too much.

Hi I have question I hope the people that have smelled this before can help me with.My question is I dont really enjoy oud on my skin it tends to go really dirty weird scent but I can take a small amount of oud would you recommend me to buy this for the record I am really into sweet fruity scents and very strong scent like la belle by jpg or midnight rose by lancome. I also bought orchid prarie by rasasi and I really cant take the smell really dont enjoy it.

I bought us during the winter and tried it a few times. something very sharp smelling in it.. So I put it on my perfume shelf and let it sit there for about six months. brought it out today and it was absolutely stunned. this is a star in the warm weather. it is absolutely beautiful.. if you have this sitting on your shelf and you thought it was too sharp or screechy The warm weather completely changed my mind. it is definitely a summer scent..

It is a very sweet and charismatic perfume. It is an explosion of warmth and purity at the same time, I reveal a powerful amber in the background that envelops the fruits and flowers. It is definitely a nice perfume, and I decided to buy a bottle of this as soon as I finish my sample. It is a perfume that struck me, I have to explore other Rasasi scents. Beautiful Jasmin Wisp! First Impressions (sample spray) Love this, and I usually don't like tropical fruity perfumes. This is one of those exceptions to the rule, and is strong. However, it doesn't suffocate me. Gives me side effect vibe, but without the harsh tobacco, cough drop note. Edit 1: Pass- the dna is too popular for my liking, and it is strong. Also, the price point is high when there’s a lot of counterfeits. I don’t want to waste my money.

I love this perfume. The opening can be a bit sharp, but it settles down into a creamy fruity fresh vanilla. The passionfruit in this gives it a tropical feel but I don't smell much coconut. This can be worn year-round but can be a bit thick in the summer. It's beast mode so no need to overspray, I choked myself out once. This is a well-rounded perfume that has everything that I look for in a fragrance. Will always repurchase.

I know this is a more feminine fragrance, but man I love this so much I wear it. You can definitely smell a tropical cocktail. The passion fruit and pear, and peach opening are very noticeable and then begins to get creamy with the coconut and vanilla. I think the can be an all season fragrance, I can see already this this fragrance will be mainstream and go up in price. Don’t sleep on it, it smells very natural.

A feminine-leaning, pear and jasmine medley suitable for all seasons. Projection is moderate, even after an hour’s dry down. Sillage is moderate as well. I own 3 different Rasasi perfumes (Hawas Diva & Eclat) and all share that signature longevity. For an EDP, it’s strong. I initially mistook this for an Extrait. One of a kind in that I can’t really classify this as a dupe for anything.

Gorgeous white florals blended perfectly with luscious fruits over a base of warm amber and creamy vanilla. Although there aren't any wood notes listed, I detect a hint of cedar and a touch of oud as well. The coconut adds a whisper of nutty sweetness. Rich, complex, and sensual. This can be worn in any season, any time of day. Excellent projection and longevity, outstanding quality!

This fragrance is so well blended that it's hard to distinguish every single note. What stands out the most to me is a soft peach, balanced by a hint of tart passion fruit—like a fruity cocktail shaken with creamy coconut and delicate touches of white florals. I've tried several dupes for Kirke, but this one is by far the best. It's strong, beautiful, and feminine.

When i wear this, i think about tutti fruti candies, contain juice of mixed fruits... It feels uplifting and joyful. It lasts more than 10 hours too on me with medium to heavy silage... I seriously cannot stop sniffing my arms hahaha... The comparison with Kirke from Tiziana Terenzi is correct, but i find this one a bit softer while Kirke is screaming out loud.

The fragrance is a strong long lasting dream of jasmine. It is a great fragrance for not too warm weather that does not change in smell in time even after whole 10 hours it still smells the same. Great for spring and colder summer in a busy city. The scent itself is rich floral with a heavy base that grounds it and sets boundaries to the nice flowers.

damn why tf did i forget about her...even after testing out all these expensive hyped niche perfumes, she's still so good. and her packaging is actually something I'd put on a tray, massive W for Rasasi. fyi, i do think i smell some clean coconut in the background. it's not super distinct, but i do think it's there.

I’m confused by the mixed reviews given this is a 4.23 out of 5 with over 200 votes at the time of posting. Love is the dominate metric. I am not shy about strength. I cleared a bank branch once with Chloe nomad absolu. I’m buying a bottle. I’ve always been an ask for forgiveness instead of permission kind of girl.

This is the most successful blind buy I’ve ever made! 10/10. I’ve gone through 1/2 my bottle in a month and it is completely beast mode. It lasts and projects for 10 hours on skin and days on clothes. This is a fruity, musky scent with a beautiful jasmine note. Not for the faint of heart. Getting a back up bottle!

I just got this two days ago and I really like it! It reminds me of DG L’imperatrice which is a long time guilty pleasure and favorite easy reach. It’s just a little less sour and juicy and a touch creamier with some jasmine and vanilla. It’s like L’imperatrice’s older more chic sister. So far so good!

I finally got myself a bottle after loving this on a close friend. So beautiful! A sexy juicy floral. I'd argue it's a safe blind buy. The middle notes are on point. I wish it were Spring or Summer and I was getting ready for mimosas with my girls so I could bathe in this and really feel myself lol.

WOW. I ordered a few samples from Notino and this is my favourite. It’s such an interesting summer perfume! It smells expensive which is hard for a summery perfume to do. I get the hint of oud some other people have mentioned. When I save up enough this will be my first purchase 😍

Yes, this is quite lovely. Can't compare it to Kirke, but it has some similar vibes with Arethusa. Fruity and vanilla sweet. If it wasn't so similar with what I already have, I'd consider a full bottle. I think it would be a safe blind buy, or a good gift.

This stuff is nuclear! A true beast mode fruity vanilla - it has that mildly screechy note that most creed fragrances has and i can’t put my finger on it. I love it! I’ll be getting the bigger bottle - not sure if it’s a safe blind buy though

I get a very headache inducing overly sweet fragrance similar to Sweet Like Candy Ariana Grande or Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears. I guess it’s good if you like those celebrity scents but want them to last longer because this is a beast!

It’s a big yes for me. Reminds me of erba pura for sure but not a dupe. It’s more feminine with floral notes and a creamier sweetness in the dry down. Smells Like a very expensive niche Fragrance. Heaven in a bottle.

I used this perfume for a couple of years and now I’m using it again. It’s better to use it in spring and winter and sometimes in summer not in a very hot summer.

Bright floral fruity. Like a fruity shampoo. Semi-sweet not sickly or cloying. I can see a guy pulling this off but it is feminine IMO. High quality juice.
