Odah Al Abiad

@Molko – I have Oudh Al Abiyad(White Oud) and here are my thoughts about it. It’s a really woody fragrance! I think it's may be too woody for western taste, but it is very nice. From the opening to the end, in Oudh Al Abiyad the most powerful note is the woody note. But it is different from OUD – this is not oud-ish scent. I can’t smell any spices as the pyramid here shows – I’m not sure there are any spices in it. On my skin the opening is fresh, but not in a light or airy way, because there is geranium note and it is very loud and dominant. I wish the rose notes to be more powerful, but on my skin they are very quiet...There is no any sweetness through the hole scent life. After an hour, the scent settles down and the woody note becomes louder. I know it sounds boring – woods, woods and woods, but I can guarantee you it’s not a simple or unpleasant scent. I like it very much! I can’t detect much ambery tones or lily of the valley – may be they are just doing their job on the back, but the musk is here and the mossy tones as well. I think Oudh Al Abiyad is a hardcore woody fragrance and everyone who REALLY love woody perfumes will enjoy it. I have 4 Rasasi perfumes and also I've tested some Montale fragrances, so I can defiantly say Oudh Al Abiyad is very heavy on woody notes, which are different from the precious oud note... The word “Oudh” in the name is misleading. I know it sounds strange, because oud notes comes from Agar tree, which is wood too, but that’s how I feel the scent. For instance, my Faqat Lil Rijal is a totally oud men scent and it gives very different woody feeling compared to Oudh Al Abiyad. I might be wrong, but I had to mention these thoughts about wood/oud... Oudh Al Abiyad is shown as unisex, but I’m not so sure it will suit western women. Of course, every woman has own taste, but I think it’s too woody for a lady. Longevity – fantastic! More than 12-15 hours. Sillage – excellent! It has great power even 4-5 hours after first apply. I like Oudh Al Abiyad very much, because it is very different from the designer genre, smell natural and have power. In modern western men perfumes there is a lot of sweet and soft notes, which sometimes makes me searching for something strange and not so balanced... I know Oudh Al Abiyad is hard to find in real stores, so “buying blind” on internet is a possibility, but only if you like woody perfumes, otherwise you will be disappointed with Oudh Al Abiyad.

Odah Al Abiad from Rasasi 10/10 I Love Love Love Perfume Character: Wood and oriental smells and (cucumber) .. Yes feel like drowning in cucumber. it like (Santal 33). wood is a boss of situation here. But unfortunately there is a slightly greasy smell on the margin (industrial), but unobtrusive, and acceptable. A soft spicy with Oakmoss, fresh with Lily of valley. (Oakmoss), (lily-of-the-valley), (lilac), cursed clearly all the time. my be its sudden but Odah Al Abiad like (invectus) a littel bit, maybe the reson is: Oakmoss and soft spice, but OAB is moor woody and shining and bright, and musky, and oriant, and it is light spicey, invectus is not spicey. This fragrance begins with an citrus in opening, and it have long opening, then turns into soapy notes in the dry, and the soaps still for a long time, but not light soap, and not smooth soap; it smells of heavy and hot soap, like Lifebuoy soap, but it does not mean that it is described as a first-class soapy fragrance of course. And people around you will smell the most woody, musky and lily-of-valley scent, and the comments will be that the fragrance is pleasant and hapy. I noticed that the people who liked the smell of Sauvage on me themselves liked the smell of OAB on me. It is safe sillage. Notic that: its exelant to use in summer, early summer and midel summer, it is the best time, moor than spring, but not in hot summer... Not in hot summer, rememper; its oriantal you feel a citrus, but also OAB is not very citrusy fragrance. Very wooden, dominated by (Lily-of-the-Valley) notes and (Lilac) and (Oakmoss). Bright perfume its good in summer and spring and fall Longevity: 10 Sillage: 10, and safe I smell it 3 days (in clothes), and I have alot of complement from my friends, they love it. It's great in the warm early fall, when it sunny and some rain. Suitable for quiet times, relax and car and quite office, it is not a sporty fragrance. Longevity: 10 Sillage: 10, and safe Smell: 9

This is my signature fragrance from last 15 years, though it is formulated still performs well lasts more than 6 hours not recommended for extreme hot weather, you will get a feeling of royal with it for sure. Longevity has gone with the reformulation, I miss the performance what it used to be in 2010 to 2015's

@shaedz Ajmal's Alf O Lail has animalic oud and rose combination, whereas Oud Al Abiyad is more woody and oud type of scent. Both goes in different direction.
