Qasamat Bareeq

BR540 DNA done with same confectionery sweetness, more saffron and less ambroxan. the opening is harsh. can be medicinal and definitely synthetic, also a bit leathery. I kinda get a dental office facet with it. dry down starts pretty quickly and is really the reason to be interested in this. to my nose it has more of a spice driven direction than the MFK. caramel note is noticeable and mixes well with the saffron. there is still quite a heady, almost candied ambroxan tone ("burnt cotton candy") after the opening but it is less than that of BR540. if you find yourself wishing that BR540 had more 'spice' and less 'nice', give this stuff a shot. strong in projection and longevity, minimal sprays only, will last on my clothes basically indefinitely until I wash them. I have to spray on my wrists and never go in close to avoid going noseblind to this. whereas with BR540, despite it being more reliant on hedione & ambroxan, I can spray pretty much anywhere and not go noseblind (given equal amount of sprays). I'm not sure why this is (formulation related reasons I'm guessing), but regardless it may be worth knowing for some.

I blind-bought this one and in the opening, it's very chemical and medicinal. It literally reminded me of the smell of corridors in public hospitals... my heart dropped. However! The dry down came in clutch. It went from hospital corridors to caramel and smoky leather with a hint of spice. It's not gourmand to me, but it's sexy and sophisticated. Edit (07/04/24): It has been almost a year since I purchased this fragrance and it has become a staple in my collection. I love to layer it with my By the Fireplace perfume oil from Oil Perfumery or combine it with Mumbai Noise by Byredo. I don't know why, but these two combinations are lovely on my skin. This fragrance is versatile, so easily wearable, and invokes a feeling elegance. I adore it.

The best way to put this is Rasasi Bareeq smells like a soapier version of BR540. Its not gourmand at all I can detect sweetness like candy floss but there are other accords in this fragrance that gives a clean soapy feel to it. This fragrance is really blend well and will last on your clothes for days and on skin the entire day. This smells opulent and not boring because there are a lot of br540 dupes but this is actually very nice I’d wear this to the office sprayed moderately not more than 4 sprays. When I got this bottle last month I have been testing it along side other dupes. Nothing comes close to br540 other than Al haramain Amber oud rouge and if you want something sweeter I’d say Ariana cloud.

I got it because of a girl on tiktok raving about and it was blind buy While searching for other reviews i was expecting that i wouldnt like and would return However when i got it and from the first spray i felt its so intoxicating and i have never felt that i like a perfume as much as id to it I kept on trying to get what others didnt like and kept on smelling it but the more i smell the i fall in love with I feel like i bought another perfume comparing what i feel and what others say Anyway i think its really amazing, one of the best perfumes i have Hope whoever buy it gets to love it as much as i do❤️

This is such a delight. I had both high hopes (based on the score) and mixed feelings (based on individual reviews pointing to 'try before buying'). Easily unisex. Feels sophisticated and sensual. Empowering. Very happy with the silage and projection (despite it being a very hot summer here atm). I own a range of Rasasi perfumes, they never cease to amaze, but let me tell you - this Qasamat line is otherworldly.

I’ve owned this for a few months, glad it was finally added! I too will say this is very close BR540. I compared both the edp & the extrait. It doesn’t have the woodsiness of the extrait, def most similar to the edp. Less refined, but that’s a given. More refined than Cloud/Zara in my opinion though. Really beautiful & a fraction of the cost. Lasts for-ev-er

RASASI QASAMAT BAREEQ: Exquisitely blended saffron and caramel—all the elements I love in BR540 and Mancera Instant Crush but sweeter. This fragrance is incredible! It's warm and spicy without being overwhelming, with a beautiful leather note that adds depth and sophistication. The caramel and amber create a delicious sweetness that lasts all day. Definitely unisex and perfect for any occasion.

It’s a very strong long lasting perfume for winter weather sweety woody a little bit of spicy note. i would like you to try it before you purchase and don’t judge on first Notes.

Very beautiful fragrance from the house of Rasasi, i can say this is one of the best from the house, i will recommend it to everyone.

One of only two br540 fakes worth smelling. The stuff is nuclear as well. $60, and worth it. If you don’t like Safron just leave now!

Rasasi Bareeq is so lovely and it last so long. i am on my second bottle right and i definitely will always repurchase.

this one is a little tricky. if you smell it off the sprayer, it smells just like MFK 540 edp/ extrait but when you spray it, it is a little different. it has its own Rasasi touch to it. it might be targeted more towards ladies but as a guy, i think i can pull it off. in fact is is much more masculine then MFK540EDP. i have owned this for about 3 years now and oh boy i m glad to see this on here.. i tried talking about this frag to ppl around but mostly were not aware. it does get me compliments but i dont ware this very often, gives me a little headache once in a while. it is my SOTD and i m seeing how long it last! if you see it, give it a try, i am not going to recommend this for a blind buy cheers!

A clean and uplifting fragrance. It is a bit medicinal and chemical to my nose, but still very pleasant. It sort of smells like I’ve been swimming in a chlorinated pool and then had a shower with an expensive luxurious floral based soap. The main notes on my skin are saffron with mild flowers in the background. The musky notes are very gentle. I wish the caramel note was stronger and sweeter. My wife also uses this occasionally, so its definitely unisex in my opinion. I might not re-buy this fragrance, not because it’s bad, but because I want to explore some of the other Rasasi fragrances. Not a blind buy. Test it first.

Inspired by BR540; take the spicy & medicinal saffron and add a heavy dose of caramel with facets of chocolate (oddly enough) and warm and smoky leather. Sweet and intense, lasts for an incredibly long-time on skin and clothes (10+ hrs). Major projector, best suited for the cold. Worth trying if BR540 is a scent you enjoy.

Inspired by FK's BR540 without being a clone. The opening is eerily similar but the dry down is its own DNA- saffron (slight clinical stamp to it), caramel sweetness, slight mossiness, musk and clean leather. Unisex without leaning either way, a like for the books.

The opening is pure windex which you have to push through. After that it is like a more spicy BR540 and is quite long lasting, like people are saying.

I got this one after sampling some decants I was sent by a friend, as it seemed to be an appropriate fragrance to use when going for a run/ to the gym (something I didn’t have in my collection). It had never crossed my mind that this smells like Baccarat, with all due respect to everyone’s opinion. This one smells kind of soapy (especially in the opening), clean and airy (maybe the latter’s why people think it smells like BR540?). It doesn’t perform extremely well on me, but I don’t spray a lot, and maybe I am slightly anosmic to it, which I don’t mind considering the purpose I use it for. It’s hard to describe what exactly smells like, there’s a lot going on, but I’d say the note that initially stands out the most on my skin is the apple, which gives some freshness to the composition. After an hour or two, it dries down to a woody scent with a fruity twist. And in spite of the caramel, I don’t really think it’s that sweet. It is a decent layering fragrance too. I’m torn between ok and like, but I’d say that it’s not a bad fragrance in the right circumstances. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who knows the real thing that they’d be disappointed if they’re buying this as a dupe. Instead, I’d suggest you to try Amber oud rouge by Al Haramain - the dupe that made me buy the original (and *almost* regret it, as it’s this close) - this one is getting harder to find in Europe, and seems to be discontinued, but it’s worth trying out if you want a real clone. This here, is not it.

Not a safe blind buy. Bought this on tik tok where this Girl reccomended it, and thought it would be sweet. It smells a lot like leather. I get the comments that say it gives a medicinal or doctors Office smell. I get that as Well. Right off the bat this smells Odd. I like it, but i cant imagine anyone telling me i smell good with this on. If you dont like baccarat, deff dont buy this. I dont get the sweetness, but i Also dont find it bitter. My boyfriend Said it smells like cleaning products, but not in a fruity Way and he hated the smell. I like the dry Down after some hours. And i dont go noseblind to it like i do with cloud or Ana abidehy by lattafa. It is just not girly enough for me, but it is very sophisticated. Wouldnt repurchase. Update - i have started to enjpy the smell, and this is very Long lasting! Good perfume.

PUSH THROUGH THE DRY DOWN! initial spray smells like straight doctors office. surprisingly, this scent reminds me of a less sweet, more spicy version of 'cloud' by ariana grande. the caramel and musk notes are strong to me. I agree with the other reviews, definite leather scent which is noticeable in the first hour.

The most intense dupe for B540. Its 99% the same compare to all dupe like Zara Red Temptation or Cloud. Only one spray is more than enough. If 2 sprays, it will stroke you and feel nauseous. Iam not a fan of B540 , so not really my type. If you like 540, so confirm its cheap and great dupe for u😄

It’s similar to CDN untold, which I also have, but smoother, less floral and medicinal. I feel it’s a little weaker than that but more masculine and better blended. CDN untold is a sillage nuke and fairly linear and over the top.

I really wanted to love this, but the opening is so sharp and medicinal to me I just can't do it. I've tried layering with other fragrances in my collection, and it either gets overpowered, or just smells metallic. I'm going to let it macerate for a few months and see if anything changes, but I don't have high hopes.

This reminds me of Spirito Fiorentino by Tiziana Torenzi, it's been a few years since I sold the bottle. This really reminds me of it, with that saffron & leather. Plus a lil smokiness, just got it yesterday. I'm giving it a month to mature . One spray on my wrist, this dry down is beautiful 😁

It's not a dupe of bkr540, this is an intense version of oud that so slightly feels inclined to bkr540 notes in start, but after a while it gets a woody sweet oud with spicy touch. Lasting 9/10 Projection 7/10 Sillage 7/10 Scent quality 9/10.

Yes, it's a Baccarat Rouge inspiration. Very close to the original with very good longevity and projection on my skin. But I have to say that I hate this cotton candy trend. I really hate everything close to BR. It's so invasive and pungent.

This is a great smelling and performing instant crush/ Versace gingembre/BR540 style fragrance. Very impressed overall.
