Qasamat Ebhar

Sweet, Seductive, Crowd-pleaser. Not-too-sweet vanilla envelops smooth jasmine and woodily powdery orris root. The green apple and lemon provide an air of pristine freshness, it adds crispness to this fragrance—that without them, would make this perfume stuffy or cloying—this fragrance is expertly balanced. The tonka bean is hearty, the musk is skin-like, and the praline is complex, thankfully not overpowering, but instead very "come-hither." Dry-down transforms into a woody caramel musk. Perfect sillage, not stifling—and will linger as a moderate trail. Longevity is insane. Quite literally lasts all day, it's been over 8 hours and Ebhar is still going strong as that gorgeous dry-down musk I mentioned. Good for day or night. I want to say it's an all-year-round scent, but that's just because I'm so in love with it; this might be too sweet for summertime (but that won't stop me lol)! I typically avoid fruits and gourmands because I HATE overly sweet fragrances, yet this fragrance alone has me questioning everything I thought I knew! I suppose it goes to show a well-blended, balanced formulation can make exceptions to your collection habits!? The notes listed are literally what you'll get from the fragrance, with no surprises or missing notes. This is such an effortlessly cozy, pretty, and feminine fragrance, that it will easily become one of my everyday favorites. Possibly a safe blind buy for most people. I am completely floored. Addicted. Oh my goodness...

Do you want a denser, more refined and powerful version of Mercedes Benz Club Black? Look no further, Qasamat Ebhar is the one to get. In the opening you can immediately detect that apple note and it smells so natural and good in combination with the vanilla. After 3 hours the apple totally disappear and you are left with a Vanilla-Tonka heaven mixture. Here the fragrance gets extremely close to Club Black but it does more than that, I would say this become a 1:1 clone of Nuit Et Confidences By Annick Goutal!! As I said before, Qasamat Ebhar is powerful, I have a December 2022 batch and it's extremely long lasting (10 hours) and projects a lot unlike Club Black which has average performance unfortunately. In Europe you can get Qasamat Ebhar for 30-40 euros, Club Black for 60€ on notino, seeing al pros and cons, I would easily chose Qasamat Ebhar even if it has 35 ml less in the bottle, presentation and atomizer are also better. Don't get me wrong, both are amazing but Ebhar is a little bit better in every aspects. 9,5/10

I agree with the reviewer below me. This is very well blended. I don’t get a cheap or synthetic vibe either. I think it’s really very pretty, but unisex, leans feminine. It’s rich and decadent, but still light and airy. My only complaint is I wish the apple and freshness hung around longer and the tonka feels a little heavy until it completely dries down. I have never smelled Casablanca, but it sounds like that one is even heavier than this so I’m sure this one is more to my liking. I got a decant on Etsy. Just discovered that you can find many Middle Eastern samples on there. I have a feeling that I will eventually buy a full bottle of this. It is unique in my collection. Edit: Found a deal on Amazon so snatched it up before they raise the price again. This probably doesn't even need to mature, smells awesome right out of the bottle. My only Middle Eastern purchase that I have felt that way about it. I definitely need to look into more scents from this brand.

Surprisingly lovely... after it sits down and gathers itself. On first spray, this gives you that crisp apple and lemon burst—fresh, bright, and almost sparkling. But don’t be fooled by the opening—it needs time to marinate. Fresh out the box? Kinda underwhelming. But give it 2 months to settle (yes, seriously), and whew, the glow-up is real. Once macerated, it becomes an easy-going daily scent. Gym? Yes. Running errands? Definitely. Casual day at work? Absolutely. It’s a vibe that doesn’t scream for attention but still makes you feel like you did something right that morning. What really shocked me though: I tested it side-by-side with Queening by Mind Games, and honey... the dry-down is nearly identical. Queening costs a whole lot more, but Ebhar? She said “you don’t need to spend all that.” 💡 Pro Tip: Let it age, then wear with confidence. Ebhar is lowkey luxe once it blooms. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4.5/5)

Just purchased, extremely weak on initial sprays, still quite lovely though. First impression is that this could be a La Belle flanker, they've just swapped out the pear for green apple. The scent is very smooth, especially the apple; it's more baked as opposed to candied. On me this would be a daytime scent, but could definitely work at night, if layered with the right scent. I plan to let this macerate until September/October as I purchased it to be a cozy, fall/winter scent. 08.14.2023 - it's been a little less than a month and the scent has developed nicely. The sillage is now Moderate/Strong and lasts a good 5 hours before fading into a skin scent. Despite my worrying it would get lost, the apple note stayed strong throughout wear. (I layered this with Mix:Bar's Vanilla Bourbon on a chilly day and it smelled like I'd wrapped myself in autumn and apple cider! Love this scent!)

Update: So I’ve let this sit for about 2 months and it’s much better. At first i almost didn’t get any smell from her, and the smell I was getting was a nauseating kind of sweetness without any notes sticking out. She is still linear, but some notes as finally sticking out. I get some vanilla, rose, apple in the opening and some praline in the dry down. It’s still intimate silage. I hope this will be better and stronger over time, but I finally like it and will keep her for now. Long lasting scent. Not a summer scent because of the base notes that shines through the dry down Update 2, 12.09; this is now a favourite. Beautiful everyday scent, and perfect for the autumn. It gives me of vanilla, caramel and wood. My office, casual and library scent

When I first got her, I didn’t understand what she’s supposed to smell like, she was very weak with an annoying note that kept popping out. After 7months of maceration in a dark place with a lid off, she’s become this very beautiful, delicious, sexy lady yet shy... she’s not loud but someone close to you will definitely smell her. She performs better in hot weather then in winter cos she’s too shy and needs help of the sun to sort of come out. I love this lady and I wear her when I’m feeling sexy and don’t want unnecessary attention but rather within close proximity. I’ve gotten compliments from people close by. I love her and I already bought another bottle so she can macerate for months and be ready next year. What a shy, classy lady she is🥰💐

This is delicious, inviting and warm but not too heavy. The sweetness is just perfect, it has a richness to it without being syrupy and cloying. Fruity-caramel-floral, with green apple being the fruit. Some sensual powderiness and muskiness to add depth. Not for warm weather or for very cold weather, but otherwise I’d wear it all year round (it’s especially perfect for our mild Middle Eastern winters), and it’s good for all ages. It does have a cozy, yummy fall-time feel to it. Unisex scent leaning feminine, men who love gourmand/sweet scents should try it too. I love it layered with Qasamat Morhaf (oud-rose) for extra oomph. Very good longevity and moderate sillage. Excellent fragrance for the price.

I expected nothing from this, but it.is.so.delicious! I usually find apple notes make fragrances smell cheap, and that's why I wasn't expecting much, but this is the loveliest, silkiest apple/fruity scent with a lot of depth from vanilla and woods. I'm surprised that no-one has linked it as a dupe for Kilian's Apple Brandy on the Rocks - they are SO similar. But it's also like a fruity, upbeat, cheerful version of Silky Woods from Goldfield & Banks. Smells about 10x more expensive than it is. I started with a 10ml decant, but I can see myself reaching for this throughout spring, and for summer nights every time I don't know what to wear. Absolute stunner.

This is for Vanilla lovers, it is a sweet gourmand but not too sweet that your teeth will raught. It is more close to the skin than other perfumes, nevertheless it does last at least 6 hours. I do not smell the apple or the flowers, to me it smells more like a dessert maybe rice pudding or some kind of vanilla custard but it's not cloying. I find it has that cozy and relaxing effect like most vanillas do. I really like it and if you like gourmand vanilla you probably will too.

First of all, I think the name of the fragrance should be Rasasi Ebhar (without oud moattar). Also the picture I would change. I really love this fragrance. It lasts all day on clothes, on my skin the longevity is not as long lasting. It is sensual, warm and perfect for cooler days. I also have Casablance and especially the opening of this fragrance reminds me of Casablanca. I like Ebhar better. This is my best blind buy ever. This is a compliment getter.

This perfume is sweet syrupy apple goodness. I do get a hint of rose and jasmine once the initial blast of apple settles down. This is very feminine long lasting and super sweet. It is a little heavy so be careful about overspraying. When I spray this fragrance I immediately get a little sugar high and I keep coming back for more. On my skin the siliage and projection are moderate and it last about 4/5 hours on my skin. 9/10

Review for Rassasi Ebhar EDP: This is sweet caramelized apple over some soft florals and a vanilla and praline base. Blended seamlessly it changes from the almost fresh apple opening to the addictive and intimate sweet base. It does not project greatly on me, however I am truly enjoying the bubble I am in when wearing this. It is very similar to Casablanca from Swiss Arabian, but smoother and sweeter.

If Swiss Arabian Casablanca and JPG La Belle had a baby it would be Qasamat Ebhar. Here we have an amazing gourmand for Fall and Winter. It opens with a burst of fresh and fruity notes of green apple and lemon contrasting with deep notes of praline, powdery vanilla/tonka bean and rich musks. Very lovely, rich and warm musky gourmand scent. Projection is average with very good longevity of 8+hrs.

I blind bought this fragrance and I love it. I'm not a green apple fan in fragrances but it's not that dominant here, I mean not greenish. If you like caramel sweet perfumes you will love this. One of my sweetest fragrance. Unfortunately not a long lasting one. Update. I have this one on me already for 10 hours now and I can still smell it. Not as strong as in the morning but It's pretty good.

RASASI QASAMAT EBHAR is fresh and sweet. It starts with smooth citrus and prominent juicy green apple, then blossoms into sweet vanilla. Ebhar is a unique addition to any growing parfum collection and was a successful blind buy! I’m now (impatiently) awaiting Bareeq with high hopes. Longevity: Subtle at 5 hours Sillage: Moderate Overall: 9/10

I’m surprised no one else has noticed but Qasamat Ebhar EDP smells just like Swiss Arabian Casablanca. The opening is nearly identical. The only subtle difference is that Ebhar is more airy & floral than Casablanca. Casablanca is slightly sweeter, dense and a bit balsamic. The resemblance is about 85% the same

This is a remarkable gourmandish perfume that you can lay your hands on. The initial blast will have lemon / citrus smell prominent which is refreshing. Followed by which you get the praline note and this one is a stable and long lasting note. Sillage is good. Typical unisex fragrance. Totally worth the money.

This is SO GOOD. I was on the fence about buying as I don’t like Casablanca (I found the dry down to be too cloying) but this is a refined Casablanca/ golden sand in the top notes, and dries down to a gorgeous creamy vanilla I would compare to melted, boozy ice cream, similar to mix bar vanilla bourbon. Yum!

I know this wasn't intended to be worn by men but I am going to wear it. I guess I'm into gourmands lately. This leans feminine but I think guys could benefit here. This is an inviting, sweet caramel with just a hint of the apple in the background. Easily my favorite of the latest haul.

This smells so delicious. Like an airy caramel cream with a hint of apple. It makes me think of caramel apples except AIRY. I don't know how they do it! It's the perfect summer to fall transition for me, on cooler days. It's very gourmand to my nose, without being too literal.

Simply unbelievable scent.. If you love Mercedes club black this is that exact scent...but happily to report less linear, more complex with a luxurious type sillage that has you smelling expensive It you don't get compliments from this then there's no helping you im afraid

I almost decluttered this until I tried it in warm weather. I thought of this as a winter fragrance, but the apple and lemon notes bloom and seamlessly blend with the tonka and praline with a little bit of heat! I seriously recommend giving it a try in summer.

This is SMOOTH, SOFT, FLUFFY, BUTTERY, but DENSE at the same time. Idk how they did it ! But this is DIVINE, love at first sniff. Sweet, easy to layer with, dries down to the most beautiful smooth musky vanilla but not headache inducing. I’m in love, buy it.

Intoxicating scent, tbh. Very similar to Casablanca! I feel it's a good everyday scent, it's sweet, memorable and not overbearing. I spray at least 10 sprays everyday because I like it so much. It's a sweet, with a hint of sour, it's perfect really.

This is not a beast-mode fragrance. It's a bit.. boring and linear, intimate silage and no notes stand out. I've had this for about 2-3 weeks, and I will let her sit a few more weeks to figure out if she is a keeper

Absolut love for me. Great performance. For me it is a strange mix of green apple, caramel, tonka and...Light Blue by DG. It is fresh and warm, cosy at the same time, suitable for not too warm weather.

Strange, I don't get the fruity top notes. I get warm, sweet vanilla/praline from the beginning to end. I love it because it's the right amount of "sweet" and doesn't smell cheap.

Yes agree, this is a slightly feminine, slightly more caramel, slightly less balsamic version of Casablanca. In the drying of this I do not separate oud as in Casablanca.

Imagine a cheesecake with graham crumbly base topped with sliced green apples. As a perfume. Delicious. Thats Qasamat Ebhar. I wear it as a bedtime scent.

i got Ebhar today and based on the reviews i was expecting a very realistic apple pie scent. it does not smell like apple pie to my nose nor to my parents’ nose and i love apple pie so i would be able to tell if that was the case. it’s not, but either way it smells really good. the thing is i was expecting to be mindblown by it but i own Royal Gold by El Nabil which has the same exact DNA as this one. but tbh, when i remember my reaction when i first smelled Royal Gold i can totally understand how Ebhar can be perceived as very unique and different as the vanilla and praline in this are so nice and well blended. the tonka bean adds warmth and depth into the fragrance making it more sensual and suitable for the evening. the green apple is prominent in the opening but i don’t get it for long, it quickly settles into a warm and deep vanilla-praline combo on my skin but as always everything is dependent on your skin chemistry and since this is an arab perfume, a 1-3 month maceration plays a big role in the notes that you get and also, its longevity and projection. i can say that i still had a faint skin scent on my arm 8 hours after i sprayed it, so that’s a great sign already. overall, i’m very excited to see how the scent will develop. i think Ebhar is blind buy worthy if you enjoy Gentle Fluidity Gold, Royal Gold and La Belle (eau de parfum) DNA. NOTE: to me, it’s like there are no middle notes in this, i feel like the top notes are the real middle notes cause i don’t smell anything floral at all, it’s like they don’t exist, maybe the orris root adds a little powderiness but it could be the musk alone. definitely don’t smell any rose or jasmine though that’s for sure.

Qasamat Ebhar smells like a tropical cocktail that went to finishing school, an influencer who only posts from beaches, a fruity sorbet that discovered luxury, or the main character of a summer romance novel. It’s sweet, bright, creamy, and a little dramatic - like a citrus diva with a soft heart. Qasamat Ebhar is the perfume that starts off as a fruity firecracker and ends as a warm, creamy cuddle. She's a tropical dessert with a passport. Spring makes Ebhar glow, she's a pastel sundress twirling in a warm breeze and she's bright, sweet and flirty - Summer loves her. Reminds me of Casablanca, but with praline instead of caramel.

Qasamat Ebhar is very interesting indeed. It has a Gucci Rush quality but with added sugar and the perkiness from the green apple. It’s actually light and almost powdery with a sugary sweetness rather than a dense custardy vanilla, so it remains airy and wearable throughout. It’s a very nice and a safe everyday office wear. Sillage isn’t great as you have to get stuck-in up-close to really appreciate it. As time goes on, it’s very linear and doesn’t really do much else but that’s fine. The longevity is into the next day too and at this stage, the distance dry-down is almost identical to the caramel dry-down of Eclaire. If this were even cheaper, it would be well worth having as an easy-wear scent but it shouldn’t be over $50. If you find it cheap, get it. Update: I’m wearing this again and it’s not as rich, golden and caramelised as I’d like. It reminds me of Al-Rehab’s Rasha with added apple. The chemical blend is just a bit too synthetic and is slightly sour. This sour element reminds me of scented diapers. If this had an attar/oil version, it would be much better. Update: I realise that this is trying to dupe Minuet Et Demi by Fragrance Du Bois, but now I realise just how thin and synthetic Qasamat Ebhar is in comparison.

Glad I got a decant of this on Etsy before purchasing a full bottle. The dry-down smells exactly like Mercedes Benz Club Black (MBCB), which I already own and love. I don't pick up on any of the floral notes listed above. This is slightly brighter and sweeter than MBCB with the fresh apple opening, making it lean more feminine, but when the fruit fades away, you're left with the same sweet, addictive vanilla-forward base. If I couldn't get my hands on MBCB, Qasamat Ebhar's a great alternative, but in my opinion, it's redundant to have both. A 2.2 ounce bottle of Qasamat Ebhar currently goes for $36.78 on Amazon, while a 3.4 oz bottle of MBCB is $48.99 on Jomashop, making MBCB cheaper per ounce. QE's bottle is on the smaller side. Given the choice between the 2, I would definitely chose MBCB. I don't love the apple and find MBCB cozier with the mild, warm incense note. In a perfect world, I'd put MBCB's juice in Qasamat Ebhar's bottle. Rasasi's presentation is much classier.

Amazon sold me a three year old bottle that even though it didn't leave it's box until I opened it has extensive scratches on the bottle's right side. I can smell a sweet top note that I think is suppose to be the apple with possibly a hint of lemon note but it goes by fast, barely if any damask rose goes by really fast and then the nice dry down I smell praline and vanilla and maybe musk. I don't smell incense. I would say then it smells caramel-y. It is creamy to me. I do know that mid to low end fragrances lose their scent notes over time and idk with this one since I have not smelled a fresh bottle. What I can smell of it as it is now quite nice and the "if you like this then you will like these" group above is quite spot on. I love al rehab's golden sand and this is in the dna family sort of a less smoky golden sands. Less apple-y and less cinnamon-y then al rehab's love apple but has similarities so hovering in that family of scent DNA. it's nice. I like it.

A lighter Casablanca. If Casablanca is spiced oven-baked apples with a dense vanilla custard over a charcoal incense burner, Qasamat Ebhar is lightly poached apples with a squeeze of lemon juice and a serving of thin Crème Anglaise on a powdery base. It's a Summer friendly gourmand. It has lasting power as does Casablanca but remains true to the apple-vanilla notes where Casablanca is incense heavy in the dry down. Do you need both? Maybe if you don't want to wear Casablanca in the summer time or just want something a little fresher. A sweet and light gourmand which is not a big projector but you will smell it all day and it will last on clothing until the next and beyond. A great Fall transition fragrance recommended by Chris from The Perfume Nest. I wish Casablanca came in this bottle, Casablancas is so plain and body spray looking, they need to do a swap as they each fit the others bottle better !

This is going to sound strange and maybe an unpopular opinion but AG Mod Vanilla and Rasasi Ebhar have the same exact dry down on MY SKIN. I'm kind of bummed out because I have them both and blind bought Rasasi Ebhar. I thought my nose is just weird until I found out that both fragrances contains 4 similar notes but still, many fragrances may have the same notes but could still smell differently you know... but anywhooo, I enjoy both fragrances but would repurchase Rasasi's instead. To my nose? This is a cozy fragrance with intimate sillage. Sweet but not cloying. I'd wear this in the office and for bed, anytime.. anywhere 😊

I love this! It’s airy and sweet. I second @Adeptus comparison to 1million elixir. What’s funny is I was wearing this often around the time my dad received a bottle of 1million elixir. When I smelled it, I right away said it smells like a more masculine version of Ebhar. I thought It was in my head a little bit.

The brighter, fruitier and sweeter version of Mercedes Benz Club Black. The two scents are very close, one with incense and one with fruits. You have to be in the mood for it otherwise it can get a bit cloying. If you love a sweet vanilla scent, this is the one!

Really nice. Smooth. Mostly I get apple and praline. The musk and orris root come through too. This is smoother and not as strong as La Belle (I’m a big fan of JPG La Belle le parfum). If you’re looking for a lighter wearing gourmand this is worth checking out.

I have Casablanca. I would say they are 80% similar. I was hoping this would be more sweet and stronger than casablanca with more vanilla, its not. But i dont get that Apple fruity note in this the same Way i do in Casablanca.

Smells like really sweet green apples but it's not heavy or dense. I sprayed this around 11pm and my mum could smell it in the house all the way in the basement!! So it's pretty strong if you overspray it.

Just a few things about this which I just received today. YES, it does smell a lot like La Danza by Nobile 1942. However, I'm not sure if I just need to let it sit for a few weeks because so far, it feels like a less concentrated version of it. La Danza delle Libelulle, which I also have, feels thick. Not in a bad way, but the fragrance feels very well blended and concentrated. Ebhar feels like a much more airy version of it. You still get all the notes you love from La Danza, but it definitely makes me feel like I should overspray. For comparison, I never use La Danza on its own. I find it incredibly sweet/strong, and 1-2 sprays on my chest so I can get whiff of it occasionally and another perfume sprayed everywhere else is what I like to do with it. With Ebhar, I wouldn't have any problem taking 5-8 sprays of this and would also consider it more of a summer-safe, hot weather version of La Danza. If the longevity is bad, I will update this review. However, I am hesitant to take points off for now since I do see a reason to have this AS WELL as La Danza. As a clone of La Danza, I will give this a 8/10. Rating this as a standalone perfume, I'll say it's an 8.5/10 for now because it does smell wonderful. Because of how light it is for me now, I plan on layering this with Lattafa Liam Grey (Gris Charnel) to see what that combo ends up being like. A few extra details, I will say the bottle is absolutely beautiful and the atomizer is a 9/10. UPDATE: After sitting for two weeks, no improvement detected. Upon further reflection, I’m downgrading this to a 6/10 as a La Danza clone after a side-by-side test. This is definitely a MUCH more watered down version of La Danza. If you want a lighter version of La Danza, just spray less of it. So far, I can’t see any reason to buy this over spending more for the OG.
