Qasamat Rasana

I was gifted Rasasi Qasamat Rasana in January 2023 by my wife, and since then, it has become my most-used fragrance (only have about 1 ml of this juice left). This is also the perfume that made me appreciate perfumery and fall in love with perfumes in general. Scent Profile Qasamat Rasana is a beautiful creamy blend of woods and fruits, and slight hint of musky notes at the base. It’s one of the most masterfully blended scents in my collection, and I often struggle to pick out individual notes in this fragrance. To my nose, the opening is a lovely burst of sweet, candy-like fruits / citrus which I assume is due to the apple and lemon accords. It reminds me of mixed fruit jam, but it’s not overly sweet or cloying. As the fragrance settles after an hour, the fruity jammy sweetness combines with the sandalwood and amber like sweetness which then stays as the main character of this fragrance all through the end. Although leather is listed as one of the notes, I don’t pick up on it at all—especially not the bitter that is found in fragrances like Ahmed’s Leather, Maison Alhambra Toscano Leather or SF Intense Leather. I’ve heard people compare Qasamat Rasana to Mancera’s Cedrat Boise, but I can’t personally comment on that since I haven’t tried the original. That said, Rasana holds its own as a sophisticated and beautifully balanced fragrance. Performance: Projection - Average for about 2 hours, Longevity - 8 hours on skin, becomes a skin scent after 4 hours. However, this clings onto fabric and can last a full 24 hours on clothes. Overall, Rasasi Qasamat Rasana is a regal, sophisticated and uplifting perfume that is super versatile and can be worn across all seasons and occasions. It has an air of elegance and refinement that never fails to boost my mood. I’m definitely planning to grab a backup bottle during my next trip to the Gulf.

This is the good stuff. I see that people have wrote reviews on this page about Qasamat Bareeq and this one has nothing to do with it or MKF 540. There is four fragrances in this line and in this review is only about the Rasana-version. Rasasi Qasamat Rasana: Presentation: One of the best Rasasi presentations in my opinion. I love the bottle desing and it is very heavy for a 65ml bottle. Its great quality and for the money I haven't seen anything like this. Juice: I have been using this one for a week now and this went streight to my favorite fragrance from the house of Rasasi(my favorite house with Chanel). This also beats every other fragrance that I have landed my nose on and I have smelled alot, like really alot. This have super fruity opening but its not too sweet. It also has like premium "apple cider" vibe that I really like. Quality is top notch for the money. This juice could be sold as Chanels fragrance but thank god for us consumers it isnt. And for a fresh sweet fragrance this lasts. Over 12 hrs on my chest. I did go nose blind after 4-5 hrs. but my fiance said that she could easly smell it after 12 hrs when she came home. For who? This is very unisex. I'm 24 years old guy and I don't see why any women couldn't wear this. Overall: 9+ Presentation: 9+ Juice: 9 1/2 Longevity: 9

I have just received this upon blind buying. On first impression, it is nice. My bottle perhaps has to macerate because I would say it is quite weak compared to my expectations from what I have heard and does not project. I can see similarities to other perfumes but none to Creed Aventus for Her and I do not understand that comparison. This is definitely not a dupe for that. Al Haramain is the place to go if you want something that actually smells like Creed. To me, this smells similar to Jimmy Choo Urban Hero, if that perfume had bergamot and Apple and less “shoe polish” smell and more oud/incense. It also has better silage than that perfume. I would say there are also similarities between this and Parfums De Marley Greenley but I prefer this. On the negative side, it can give a bit of a car fragrance vibe. The biggest negative though is that it isn’t particularly strong. I am going to leave it for a few weeks to see if this improves. I think this would suit a person who enjoys fresh, citrusy, woody perfumes. It is unisex but to me, leans more masculine. There are no floral nor sweet notes in this and it is not spicy. If you want someone to smell you from even only a foot away, this probably isn’t the best choice for you (based on how it is immediately out of the box)

Definitely NOT an Aventus or Cedrat Boise clone. It's not close. I haven't smelled Scent of Peace or Aventus For Her so I can't speak to those. What this does remind me of is a softer, more unisex take on Dunhill's Century that replaces much of the woods in the base with a big, fluffy musk note. It softens up the citruses in the opening and makes the fragrance smell very pleasing and inoffensive overall. I could almost call it a "cozy summer fragrance." There is no oud detectable whatsoever so don't let that scare you off - I'd say just about anyone could wear this, man or woman, any age range, any situation but preferable to warmer/moderate weather. Projection is stronger than expected for the first hour or so and it lasts a good 9-10 hours on my skin. If you are having olfactory fatigue, try giving yourself a couple sprays under your shirt rather than on your neck; it's the type of fragrance that smells much better in the air, getting wafts throughout the day, than one you want to stick your nose in repeatedly. Remember - wear the fragrance, don't let the fragrance wear you!

Qasamat Rasana has a beautiful sheer quality, like buttery yellow light shining through a translucent curtain on a sunny morning. It's more than the sum of its parts. Yes, there's plenty of citrus (bergamot and lemon), a bit of sweet-tart apple, but some other stuff that makes it interesting: cypriol ("earthy," say the notes), gentle leather, and refined sandalwood and non-pencil shavings cedar, very elegant. But it all blends so beautifully together that it's like a dream -- AND it persists! I'm not familiar with either Hacivat or Aventus so I have nothing to compare it to, but this stuff is gorgeous and a great bargain (in the $20 range). I could see this being a signature scent for someone who still does that sort of thing -- it's just THAT good! Definitely unisex, maybe leaning slightly more feminine, to my nose. Highly recommended for citrus and modern chypre lovers (like people who enjoy Coco Mademoiselle, etc.).

This is my second review after almost two years of owning this fragrance. I still stand by my words. This is absolutely great. I know that our noses are different but I still don't find this to be clone of anything. It has the vibe of many fruity & citrus fragrances but it doesn't remind me of anything. I also know that Cedrat Boise has a God status in the frag com but believe me, Qasamat Rasana beats it all day, every day. I own both and 9 out of 10 from my friends and family have said that Qasamat Rasana smells better, my fiance is also one of those. I myself also love Cedrat Boise but Rasana just has something that makes me like it more. I own around 100 different fragrances and at this point I don't have many backup bottles. I have three backups. For Hawas, L'homme ideal cologne and Rasana. I don't want so save my juice. I want to use it. That why I got the backup for this one.

Oh wow...holeeey sh**. You guys. First off, I purchased from Intense oud, fast shipping, it came gift wrapped, hand written letter. Amazing experience. Definitely purchasing from them again. Now the juice! This is slap the table STUNNING! I will say I find it to be more masculine than I thought based on reviews (so much so that I hid the bottle immediately for fear my husband might confiscate it). I’m getting slight TF ombré leather vibes, but they juiced this up with some apple, and there’s a peppery quality. I also get a dry wood. The longer it sits it does smell like the cedar note. I’m not getting a strong citrus/apple opening, but it might just be the way it’s pulling on my skin. Wow I don’t even know what else to say except this smells like the most sexy man neck ever. I think this is going to dominate in fall and winter, but it’s 90 degrees out and here I am....

Very nice, floral, clean and joyful. I get impressions a sunny deck near the forest with a bag of fruits from the market waiting to be cut and just off the deck lots of white flowers and green bushes. This reminds me of arriving at the Wat Pho temple in Bangkok for a massage just after sunrise. White linen everywhere, herbal unguents being prepared just out of sight and fruit sellers lining the block on the walk up from the hotel. This is so bright and fresh there has at be a slug of calone or something else aquatic in the ingredients but it's not overwhelming. Longevity is fine for the price but after 6 hours I am left with just norlimbanol and sandalwood. I really don't understand the references to Aventus. I don't get pineapple, nor smoke. They do both dry down to norlimbanol after about 6-7 hours but so do half of the masculine scents out there.

This is a wonderful scent from the house of Rasasi. They are not similar but to my nose, it has a vibe of some niche lines from Ormonde Jane like Ormonde Jane Man and Montabaco Verano. It also has a similarity to Bond No 9 Scent of Peace (I own a decant), in fact quite close to my nose. There's also another scent that this one reminds me of and I thought it was Style in Play Lacoste. However, this scent profile can stand on its own merits. It's not a clone of anything but has a niche quality to it. I got my first bottle for about $51 and I cant complain. Its a successful blind buy and a back up bottle worthy scent in my collection. Let me give this gorgeous frag a 10/10 “Let's spread the scents of peace and kindness. The two most beautiful fragrance in the world that will cost you nothing and will get you a totally different kind of compliments” 🙏

12/20/25 - Wore my t-shirt to bed and woke up smelling the cedar and oud exclusively. The scent lasts a long time, is strong, but not overwhelming. Easy blind buy if you enjoy unisex, clean, fresh scents. Makes me want to walk down a lovely, bustling street in Greece. Very excited to take this for a spin in the heat. 12/15/25 - DISCLAIMER: I L<3VE citrus and woods. Yawzha! WOW! This is an instant love. Have only had it about an hour and is immediate happiness boost. It has my heart singing. Really getting the bergamot, cypriol, and cedar. Bergamot and cedar are long-time loves; cypriol is becoming a new favorite. I was a little worried the cypriol would be overbearing and pine-like however I find it agreeable, somewhat in the background, and ethereal feeling. Very pleasant. Will update regarding wear time.

I just received a bottle of Rasasi Qasamat Rasana. My first impression so far is a well blended fragrance in a small bottle. The bottle might be small but the scent is powerful. Only a few sprays are needed. You are hit with a sweet/fruity-citrusy scent at the beginning and dries down with a woody/leathery scent. There is a "strange" note/scent that I am picking up. It kinda smells like the smell "popcorn". Does anyone else notice that same smell? I'm not sure toward the longevity or performance since it's so new. Plus, I'm sure that this fragrance needs time to macerate/mature for awhile. I am digging this fragrance so far. I agree with others that layering this fragrance with Creed Aventus dupes/ clones would be amazing. A nice addition to my collection for sure!👍

OHMIGOD!!! This was love at first sniff to me. Actually this was my first real middle eastern perfume and a blind buy. I was so anxious about whether or not I'm going to like this or not because it isn't super expensive but not cheap either. But I ended up loving this sooo much. I can't really describe it like it's so hard to tell individual notes because it's blended so well. It's intoxicating, I wanna sniff myself again and again. It's like a men's cologne but I can't see why a woman can't wear it. I blush every time I smell it (probably because it smells like" a Sexy man's neck" as someone described. A very cold and fresh fragrance. Nothing warm about it, which I love. Perfect for summer but still can be worn all year around. THIS IS A GEM.

First impressions on this: THIS IS NOT A CLONE! If you want to go insane levels of comparing, this is TT Orion meets PdM Greenley (even though this came out before it) with a sprinkle of TF Oud Wood.. But it is fairly safe to say it is its own thing! Green apple opening with a dark green aspect in the back, you an Aventus-like feel in the back, but not to the levels of saying it is a clone and as it dries down you get that same feeling of dark, elegant woody touch like in Oud Wood... I made this comparisons just to give an idea of how it smells like, but , again, it is its own thing! Will get back with a full review! Cheers!

On the first spray, I thought it smells quite fruity and got a little disappointed. But when it started to dry down, it smelled nicer,.. and nicer. It was pretty nice and classy after 4-5 hours. And got even nicer as it developed. It leans towards feminine to me. I would not think it's made for men. Just one spray on my wrist yesterday, it still lingers until now. Definitely not similar to MFK BR540. Updated: After letting it sit in my wardrobe for a couple months, It's nice and sweet yet very fresh. Reminded me of D&G Light Blue. I start to love it more now.

My #1 is c.d.n.i.m. limited parfum. My #2 is rasasi qasamat rasana. I layer these together and boom I'm now the best smelling man in the building. Everytime I layer these 2 together I get 5-10 compliments. I wore it today and got 4 compliments, so I'm 1 under the average lol. Rotten Rebel on YouTube came up with the combo. I repeat layer these 2 and see the beauty, but either 1 by itself is great too! Rotten Rebel is a good reviewer on fragrances and his wife too is good. Rasasi qasamet rasana is like c.d.n.i.m. but with green apple instead of lemon.

Amazing, beast mode perfume, at least on my skin. I was going out and woke up the next morning still smelling nice. I love oriental scents, but it's specific, so I would recommend not to blind buy. The opening is really citrusy and you can feel the apple, but after a while it becomes woody and leathery, it's a little bit more masculine, but everyone can rock it. If you like really sweet, gourmand perfumes, this one is not for you.

I have Rasasi Qasamat Bareeq. When I first smell this it reminded me of Baccarat Rouge 540. I don't think it's a clone. This one has a more leathery and powdery accord. I think this perfume can be appropriate for both men and women. Some women can pull off this scent, but I don't think many women will like this, because the leather note is leaning more towards men's scent. I give this scent a 8/10.

Nice bottle & scent. It reminds me of Light Blue by D&G. They both share the apple, lemon, & cedar notes. I was worried about the leather & sandalwood note, but I'm not getting it. It creeps up a tiny bit on the dry down, just enough to give it balance and a little warmth. It opens really bright but settles down to a fresh woody & musky scent. I would say the dry down leans more masculine.

This is an amazing fresh, citrusy slightly sweet fragrance. Perfectly unisex! This smells so expensive and appropriate for any occasion. This is not screechy like the others they suggest imo its smoother. This is a must have for the warm weather and lasts through the heat and projects. I'm a fruity musk lover and this is not that...its a well balanced fresh citrus scent.

Best aventus inspired perfumes i would say. Imagine someone took the base of fdb sahraa and then added aventus and bond no 9 kinda top notes and then infused a little bit of cedar and musk. Beautiful creation. Almost masterpiece.And very versatile. Update: there is kind of a suede/cashmere kind of oud feel towards the drydown and I absolutely like it.

Perfect summer fragrance! Great value for money and above average performance. Pleasing Apple based opening and a fresh pleasing dry down. Based on quality of scent profile, blending and performance would have been 3x more expensive if it was from another brand. 4-6 sprays. I usually layer it with CDNI. Recommended! Shukran Habibi!

One of the best fresh from the Qasamat line. I also have bareeq which i also enjoy it's sweetness. Rasana is on the fresh side i can resemble it to cedret bois from mancera. I will say around 60-70% similar BUT a twist of bubble gum love it. Overall a very good quality blend.

This the the my favourite of all perfumes, it's so refreshing and uplifting. Very long lasting on clothing. It's perfect for Aussie summer. I love to woodsy citrus, smelling it it's like drinking chill lemon drink. It doesn't smell like Aventus for her at all!

Such a beautiful fragrance. Reminds me of MB Legend EDP mixed with Cedrat Boise, and a hint of that Aventus DNA. Wonderful, wonderful fragrance. Definitely one of my favourites of all time

I’ve decided to delete my first review and leave another one, because I realized something that I didn’t previously. In my first review I said that there was something in the base that smelled like mold, but I realized it doesn’t actually smell like mold, it smells like MULCH. I was in the store the other day and they had spilled a bag of mulch and I was immediately reminded of both this and Hacivat! I think it’s because there’s both woody and earthy elements in the base that combine to make a sort of mulch accord. Oddly enough now that I know that’s what was bothering me, it doesn’t bother me as much any more and I’m able to appreciate this fragrance in a way I couldn’t initially! I’ve worn it a few times since I made the connection, and while I don’t think I’ll repurchase it I am going to keep it. This fragrance starts off VERY fruity and delicious and fades into that woody/earthy base that I’ve been talking about. As I stated in my original review, if you like Hacivat you should try this out, they are very similar but this is more casual and imo more mass appealing due to the extra fruitiness. The value for price is phenomenal, and it performs excellently. I’m glad my perception of this fragrance was able to be changed :)

Well first of all there's four fragrances from the Rasasi Qasamat Series, Bareeq, Morhaf, Rasana and Ebhar. I think the members reviewing here have mixed them up. Bareeq is a clone of BR 540, Ebhar is similar to Feve Delicieuse and Morhaf I have no clue (its a sweet rose oud fragrance which I definitely can do without). Coming to the main topic; Rasana is not an out and out clone of any fragrance IMO, but it smells to my nose to be a delicious mix-up of Creed Aventus and Mont Blanc Legend. Its starts off fruity fresh with a definitive apple note and then wanders into a spicy sort of concoction which I may attribute to the "cypriol" oil note. The leather is fleeting and the dry down settles down with musky woody and sandal notes, not amber heavy thankfully. All seasonal scent? Definitely Unisex? Can work for females also, but better suited to men IMO Performance? Good, longevity of 7 hours and moderate projection. Blind buy worthy? Price is around 45$ for a 65ml quality scent, so definitely yes

Seeing the scents others have compared Qasamat Rasana to, I can agree that it bears some resemblance to Scent of Peace, Boise Cedrat, Hacivat, but also Tuscan Leather a bit too. The fruitiness of the apple and citrus kind of works the way the raspberry does in TL, softening all of the leather and woody notes, and giving the whole thing a smooth, luxurious sheen. I picked up the oud in here, but it’s subtle and well blended. I go really light with this; you can tell that heavy application could choke some people out, as Rasasi is wont to do. A couple of sprays gave me just the right amount of presence; very noticeable 4-6 hours from the start, and 8 hours in it was finally fading from my skin. I don’t know that this is my style at all, but it’s really enjoyable. Smells more expensive than it is, and seems pretty versatile.

Rasana can be put in the Aventus family, but the main fruity accord are way more interesting than the "original one" and other inspirations. More complex indeed. Not as juicy as Cedrat Boise, but very pleasant in its own form. A smoky undertone (oudy maybe?), a little bit of amber and woods and a beautiful musk are supporting perfectly the fruity accord. There's a nice synthetic note which it seems to be cypriol. Very stable thorughout the entire development of the fragrance. Rasana will get you compliments. Even a couple of friends asked me the name to buy it. I don't use it that much, but it always get attention. Excellent performance and presentation for a great price. My second favourite from this line after Morhaf.

Got a sample. Interesting natural mentholated fruity smell. The cypress oil, apple and sandalwood notes give it a smell similar to garlands in South Indian temples. Tried it in summer, felt it was a bit overwhelming. Could be a good Fall/winter scent. Edit: Reminds me a lot of Cedrat Boise.

My First impression for this fragrance is standard.. still far from my expectations People said this is beast but don't know why i got only 5 hours in my skin and then vanished... But this still good fragrance so far but i hope more from rasasi...

Spring - summer fragrance. In the beginning, I feel the citrus and green notes the strongest. As the fragrance develops I feel leather and soft Oud. Good longevity and performance. Good price. Nice bottle. Overall rating 7/10

This is an absolute gem! Really one of the best Aventus-inspired scents on the market, smells so high quality, and the price is very good ($35 USD), longevity is around 6 hours but the scent is phenomenal.

I like this... Clean and woody, slightly citrusy, musky to my nose and unisex. Not my favorite scent of all time but I like this a lot.

It's hard to write anything about Rasana. Most of my negative reviews end up revolving around the same problem: I like the smell itself, but the sillage sucks. Rasana is subtle — and that is putting it kindly. I have no idea what the person who described it as 'suffocating' meant. The longevity is also negligible. It opens with a fruity apple-citrus mix. The opening is cold; then it moves into a musky, gentle, earthy leather. You don't have to be a fan of leather to wear this, because it's masked under the rest of the woody-citrus composition. I don't know what Aventus for Her smells like, but Rasana feels like a very light twist (without smoke) on what you can find in every Aventus clone, only in a more feminine-leaning version — though men can easily wear it too. It reminds me a little of Maharjan Silver, which I love, except Rasana is more sweet-powdery. L'Aventure Femme is very similar, but better and way more feminine. I got lucky and bought a new bottle through a pricing error for €12, shipped. That's the absolute maximum I would be willing to pay for a barely noticeable fragrance. What makes it worse is that it comes in a 65 ml bottle. That size doesn't make up for the price, especially when retail is almost three times higher. The bottle is genuinely aesthetic, but even that doesn't make it worth buying. Overall, I do like it, but this is not it. It's never worth buying a fragrance that's barely detectable even to yourself. Whether that is nose blindness or a matter of weather conditions, I don't really care. I've been looking for a wearable oud for quite a while and had almost decided I wasn't going to find one. Then I saw a YouTube review of Rasana, found an affordable bottle, and decided it was worth a blind buy. My bottle was previously owned, so is proof that not everyone loves this fragrance. The apple note is not really identifiable to my nose UNTIL I reapply after my nose is desensitized to the cypriol and oud. With the first spray, there is a sweetness and sharpness that I assume comes from the apple and citrus, but the cypriol/oud are dominant. The cedar also stands out. When I applied another spray after wearing this for a couple of hours, I got a blast of apple and citrus for about 10 minutes before the woods and leather dominated again. The overall impression is aromatic, sharp, woods with the sharpness smoothed out by amber and musk. It starts as a BIG fragrance that I can easily become nose blind to, so I would caution light application away from your nose (back of the neck, ankles?) I am no longer calling this well-blended because I think the perfumer should have balanced the top note and base note a little better. I like the fragrance, but don't think the base notes should blind you to the top notes. IMO its pleasant (no offensive notes) and a great scent for a man or a woman. I like the presentation too - nice bottle, tassel and box. So far, it's the first oud I've enjoyed.

As a big lover of Hacivat, Cedrat Boise and fragrances with similar vibes I was very curious to try this one and went with a full bottle as a blind buy. Opening of the frangrance is similar to the mid of hacivat in a way, but after couple of minutes it starts to part from that similarity quite a lot. MIddle and drydown is somehow dirty and synthetic and not that pleasant to my nose. Oud starts to be more prominent and I have to admit that I'm not an oud guy. Performance is good as well as the longevity, but overall this frangrance is just OK. If you already have / tried Hacivat, this one will dissapoint you. If you want to get similar vibes for cheap, this one could serve you well. To sum things up, this frangrance is not bad, but there are better options in this genre. Rating does not seem to be right here. Deserves something close to 4 at best. I sent the bottle back. 6,5/10 for me

I have tried this perfume on Aamazon, and I have to say, it smells really good, Idk how to explain it but the notes are accurate, & since I live in MENA, it is not unique, theres some kind of oud oil in there after it dries down, I think its called " Cambodian Oil Oud" > دهن عود كمبودي, it does not last very long I'd say 4-5 hours then its gone. It smells just like that cambodian oil oud but toned down with some citruss. The leather/ Oud comes kinda obvious after half an hour or so, but it is not that kind of leather/ oud that is extremely heavy, its just subtle & noticable, nice on the nose. Overall: Scent: 6/10 ( because I smell it everywhere, if ur anywhere but MENA, it would be so much better ) Performance: 7/10 ( it is not very long lasting nor strong ) Blind Buy?: get it from amazon, they have 15 return policy, use it for two days, if you do not like it just return it.

I’ve been dating with this for a some time now, and unfortunately I can’t get along with this one. On my skin, drying of this is allmost moldy tree to my nose. I know the effect comes from so aromatic oudh (Cypriol oil?) and while the development of this is very beautiful, that drying has become overwhelming to me. Nyyh. I get that drydown very masculine too, so I layer this with some very sweet to finish my bottle. The performance of this is excellent and I am jealous of those who find this perfectly to themselves.

Had to high expectation, after 1 h i can almost smell it...not worth the money.

This is my first Middle Eastern perfume so maybe I'm not used to this scent profile, but Qasamat Rasana is kind of screechy and suffocating on me. There is a general sense of citrus fruitiness and dense woodiness that turns very earthy. It took about 3 hours for the scent to settle into something half wearable for me. It fades from the skin after 3-4 hours, but it lingers on my clothes and it turns masculine and a bit heavy for my taste.

I bought it from Notino and it's extremely weak and smells like a generic type of summer perfume. I'm very disappointed. The only positive - the bottle is nice but the smell is not worth any money as I smell stronger just using a soap.

Hmm, interesting. There is a tart fruit opening, with the apple, berg and lemon plus a bit of Sweet Tarts. There is also, however, a wood note combined with a note of soil, though these are quite faint initially. Also an occasional whiff of relatively photorealistic cinnamon. And the aromatic quality indicates some lavender too. At the 15 minute mark the musk, sandalwood, amber and something a little fresh/spicy are coming on a bit. From the notes, the cypriol definitely seems to be a major player here, with all of its aspects (powerful, earthy, aromatic, woody) in attendance. At around an hour, the fruits have stepped back but still have input, carrying a light sweetness. The soil element is probably dominant at this point, and has a mushroom earthiness and a mineralic, almost beet-like bitterness that I don't mind at all. There is an aromatic, faintly tonka sweetness likely coming from the amber and maybe the musk, which keeps this from being too dour but this is not in any way a sweet fragrance. Just right. Not getting the woods specifically, or oud or leather, but they are sensed in tone. There are some fougere elements without the shaving cream, which informs its age target, but it has a modernity to it as well. I went light on this with three sprays. The initial scent cloud was loud and spread pretty wide but it became a well-behaved 2 foot projector at 30 minutes, and by four hours in, if is wafting up from my chest in periodic moderate waves. The soil, mineralic, fougere, amber/musk and sandalwood/cedar notes, in that order, have softened into a single accord that is delightul and somewhat quiet. It radiates that kindly dad thing modernized by a touch of sweetness. A former female reviewer said it smells like "best man neck" and I think that captures this. I don't see many women wearing this unless they have a bohemian or Victor/Victoria thing happening, and I would say 30 years-plus is the target age. There is no MK540 here, no rose, and so little oud that I wouldn't have smelled it if I hadn't read it.

On first spray I liked Rasana. I didn't know what I was smelling, but it was good quality. It was also clear from the reactions of those around me that ONE spray carried a distance and made its presence felt for hours. I was rather surprised by the performance level, as it hadn't seemed that strong to me. "You smell like an angel', a fellow perfume enthusiast remarked. That's a first! But when a family member who doesn't care about fragrance promptly announced, 'You smell really good', I knew something was up. Rarely if ever do I receive complements of this sort from such dissimilar sources over the same perfume. A winner, clearly. So THIS is what angels smell like. :) As to the scent itself, I didn't check the notes before spraying. If they say it contains apple, then it must, but literally I just smell a perfectly blended, Arabian-leaning beauty. The cypriol is subtle but present and the scent balances perfectly amongst woody, bright, and aromatic notes. I DO smell the aroma chemical 'Iso E Super', but in no way is it heavy handed or cheap smelling. In fact, the first thing that comes to mind is that Rasana smells elegant, refined, and rather expensive in a tasteful way. Although strong, the airy quality keeps her from being at all overwhelming. I'd wear this anywhere, even to see the queen. Highly recommended. If the note profile works for you, worthy of becoming a signature scent. Gift worthy? Hardly, unless you already know your recipient is a fond fan of cypriol. Which, evidently, some angels are. <3

I don't get where Aventus comparisons come from as there are only Apple, Bergamot and Musk in common. And the notes above quite accurately represent the Qasamat smell. This one has no pineapple, no birch, no smokyness, no blackcurrant that Aventus is usually associated with. To me it smells like sweeter Azzaro visit (for men) drydown with D&G light blue opening, though that fruity opening is not long lasting, no longer than 20 min. This makes the fragrance strangely unisex. The fragrance changes quite a lot from the opening to drydown, with more feminine opening and more masculine drydown, which normally does not happen with designer fragrances. The longevity is very good for the price (30Eur for 65ml), 8 hours easily. Projection is strong for at least 3 hours. Though quality-wise (naturals, etc...) it is not Nishane or any other big niche brand, it is noticeably better than Lattafas cheap perfumes. I would believe if somebody told me that it was some new Light Blue Flanker, aside from the fact that this is too unisex to be such.
