Lush exotic fruits and flowers, on a very feminine and sweet side, bordering with gourmand even. Very underrated attar. Has strong similarity with Amal of Swiss Arabian, but less in your face, more complicated development with sensual ylang and fruits. Will be adored by romantic people with sweet tooth, beautiful bottle is just a nice extra to this cozy concoction.

I have a very old bottle of this, I bought it in Dubai 20 years ago. It still smells stunning. Flowery, fruity, rich, sweet and ambery. I love it. Sexy and beautiful in cold and hot weather.

Whe I first smellt this beauty I immediately thought that it could be the prettier sister of vintage Rive Gauche. Rive Gauche is nice today, was much more beautiful when it was released but one of its main caharcteristics is a somewhat metallic sharpness and a soapy nature due to the aldehydes. Rania seems to have everything that was adorable in vintage Rive Gauche except this metallic sharpness and where Rive Gauche (and PAco Rabanne Calandre, by that matter) is cool, Rania is a bit warmer. Also, beacuse it is an oil it projects more softly and closer to the skin. It smells more classic than retro, and that's a good thing. I don't find it particularly fruity, on my skin ylang-ylang dominate sthe scent along with rose and jasmine, the base is deep, rich and resinous with oakmoss that gives a tamed down chypre quality and freshness. This perfume oil is not what western noses perceive as 'typical arabian' attar, quite the contrary, it has a very classic French character. Long story short: it's beautiful and those will instantly love it who used to love vintage Rive Gauche, in my opinion. But if you are looking for a very traditional arabic scent something that would remind you on bazaars and beautiful arabian women you may be dissapointed with this perfume.

I personally adore Rania, it's exotic,sensual floral and feminine.The packaging itself is delightful and hides a tantalizing secret inside,,the bottle is gorgeous and intricately designed.I love the exotic depth and sensuality of rania and reminds me of an Arabian princess..it oozes with jasmine,amber sandalwood and ylang ylang.Rasasi probably isn't well known but I kind of like that unknowness and newness that makes rasasi rania so unique and original from everyone else.I would recommend it and would love to see it go global,but then again,that's the mystery of Rania I guess.....
