Perfume oil version: the three stars of the opening are heady florals: ylang ylang, rose and jasmine surrounded by a cloud of powdery musk and sandalwood. The ylang ylang gives it what others might term 'an old school vibe'. After 5 mins, notes of cedar, apricot and peach begin to develop just as the woody notes become more prominent. The name 'Romance' aptly suits the fragrance you experience. Office appropriate, evenings too. I probably will not repurchase it due to its weak longevity. Update: It's been a month since I bought it and maybe the warmer weather has played a role but surprisingly the opening has become reminiscent of a green floral- galbanum, ylang ylang and hyacinth are the stars now before more florals. It's a lot less fruity, more soapy and powdery and all that I had hoped from reading the notes, that it would be. Note that longevity is not great. It projects strongly first 30-45 mins and then becomes a soapy skin scent that's gone by the 3rd hour. Goes up to 5 hours on clothing.

This fragrance you can wear it any time during the day or at night, in winter or Autumn. It lasts 12 hours or more the leather and one day on the clothes. I was a bit wary as hyacinth can become an acidic screamer with my chemistry. However, in Romance, it is beautifully tempered with the powdery notes, jasmine and a touch of ylang-ylang. It is quite linear: the initial blast of shouty hyacinth calms down and the other notes come through and are all evenly matched. Nothing much happens beyond that point, but I don't really care - the overall effect is lovely and I'm really taken with it. The oil gives me around 10 hours of wear with moderate silage with only a light(ish!) swipe of the rollerball applicator. If you like summery florals with a powdery finish, you could do worse than try this budget gem.

Similar to Tendre Poison, in fact better than TP. The first spray may scare you, but wait for a few minutes. The way this scent transforms, is truly romantic and beautiful. It is not a light, transparent scent. Rather it is a slightly thick, powdery, green floral scent, with a strong undercurrent of fresh and juicy. I also get hints of something like black tea and white wine as well, although it is not a note present. Sweet, green, powdery and romantic. Lasts almost forever. Great one!

Beautiful, I am wearing it right now , I am feeling pretty comfortable around it, my headache is gone, and I can smell it without smellimg my shirt... Well i am a male I was just testing it out and seriously I just want to kiss the girl wearing it but Unfortunately its my own arm :D Hahaha nevermind. Flowery fregrance which is very relaxing, charming, comforting and beautiful.Its truely a feminin fregrance. A good one to have for your wife ;-)

This lovely Arabian fragrance is a sweet (but not too sweet) fruity floral with hints of amber, musk and sandalwood. Romance performs like a much more expensive perfume. I have the spray (not the attar), and one or two sprays is plenty. This fragrance projects well and lasts a long time on my skin. The dark green and gold bottle is really beautiful!

It starts off a bit spicy and with a refreshing sting from the galbanum. In about 20 minutes it morphs into a comforting and sweet rose-powdery scent. It just arrived today and I applied it about two hours ago. It makes me smile so - money well spent! I have edp, I might consider getting the oil as well. The bottle is beautiful too!

OMG. This is so good. I bought it because it said it's similar to Tende Poison. I love Poison perfumes. But never smelled Tender. This is so good, so very good. I bought it for 15 euros. Will buy a back up ASAP.

I finally got my hands on this after dragging my feet for a couple years. I love Tendre poison, wore it for years and was looking for an alternative after its discontinuation. I ended up purchasing several bottles of the dupe from Divain, that scratched the itch for me, was very close but wasn’t perfect. I also have cabotine, which has some of the same qualities but is pretty different to me. So, I did end up getting the original edp and edt on the second hand market. This is closer to Tendre Poison edp, where I find the divain dupe is closer to the edt. However, this is ever so slightly powdery and the original doesn’t have that quality on my skin and if you know me, I do not like a powdery scent! It is counter balanced by the green notes so it doesn’t go to far into a dry powder which makes it acceptable to me, but I do wish it wasn’t powdery at all. It has way better longevity than the edt or divain one. It is definitely close to the original which is great! If you loved the original and don’t want to spend the huge price resellers are charging for the original, this will probably work great for you. I’ll probably layer the two! I really enjoy that this projects well and lasts! It is a good fragrance and worth the price! The bottle is absolutely adorable, it reminds me of some sort of magic potion!

I bought this because of the reviews others have comparing this to Tendre Poison and I agree. TP, Amarige, Issey Miyake, Lauren, Sunflowers and Acqua di Gio were some of my jams back in high school but my beloved was by far TP. I was completely in love with this perfume from first sniff. I know many people also compare it to Cabotine but I remember smelling both back then and thinking Cabotine was nowhere near my precious TP despite similar notes. Romance does give me TP vibes enough that I like it and will keep it in my collection but it comes across a bit more harsh and not as sophisticated and refined as what I remember TP to be. I like spraying it in my hair and the dry down is when I get the most similarities to TP. Maybe I'll revisit Cabotine and have as an alternate but I so do miss my beloved Tendre Poison.

I bought this specifically because I wanted something resembling Tendre Poison, which is expensive and hard to come by after so many years of being discontinued. I wore Tendre Poison back in the day, and I'm very pleased to report that my bottle of Rasasi Romance does indeed strongly remind me of TP. I think the hyacinth is the strongest fragrance reference for me, but the slight fruitness is also very reminiscent of TP. I do like this one a lot in a kind of nostalgic way, and will probably get a lot of wear out of it. Sillage is moderate. I can still detect it on me at 6 hours +. The EDP is quite inexpensive ordered directly from India, and the bottle is also a little exotic, so it's a win-win for me.

Although not a dupe, Romance really does smell rather like Tendre Poison once it's dried down. I find the similarity surprising as they have very few listed notes in common. Romance is "rougher" and a bit sharper, which is probably indicative of ingredient quality. Tendre Poison is discontinued and selling for ridiculous sums online; Romance is neither - definitely worth trying if you choose not to remortgage your house in order to buy a bottle of perfume. For me this unisex in other words I like this smell. I wear this today first time no one say it's female. Secnt bubble is very peaceful

Rasasi’s ‘Romance’ is a sickly sweet, headache-inducing fruity-floral. It reminds me of a cross between Anais Anais and Lou Lou. It has no class, so screeches like Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady whilst she’s still a basic-bitch flower girl, before she’s tutored how to conduct herself as a lady and rein-in the crass horror of unrefinement. I understand why this was the Arabian perfumers attempt at a western fragrance. Think about being trapped in a lift with a hen party - the loutish, over-zealous noise, the adornment of L-plates, penis straws, poorly contoured melting makeup, stale alcohol breath and cloying generic western perfume. That’s the scent of an unruly western lady in the eyes of the Arabians. And that generic fragrance is perfectly captured in Rasasi’s ‘Romance’.

Clean, soapy green-floral. Old-school, retro smell. Not crisp or fresh, but rather quite thick and powdery, develops slightly sour on my chemistry. I do love green-florals, but only the light and sparkling varieties (like Chanel Cristalle EDT and Baiser Vole EDT for eg.), this one is abit stuffy and humid for me and reminds me of laundry detergent and clean warm towels. It’s not unpleasant, and will probably smell good on the right person, but it’s just not my thing.

Pretty and also quite sweet. Not 'Arabian' in composition so much as an outstanding Western style scent. It is probably a great deal like Dior's Poison Tendre, and definitely resembles Cabotine by Gres. But while Cabotine is more of an old school floral (in the best, sweet green tuberose sense) Romance has, well, more romance! It's sweeter and more fluffy, in a perfect blend of slightly green florals minus the tuberose. Nothing masculine or overtly woody about this attar; it's powdery sweet florals all the way! Romance smells of spring itself, thanks to an abundance of enchanting hyacinth, but never quite goes out of doors. Not a floral garden so much as a vase of fresh flowers on a dressing table, beside a bottle of sweet jasmine perfume, scented lipstick, powder puff, and compact. Modern? Yes, in it's inclusion of fruits... But they never shout 'fruity' in the way that many a fruity floral does. Romance is balanced in such a way that you smell their sweetness, not their overt presence. Happily, Galbanum and Sandalwood round out the composition, adding green goodness and depth, respectively. There is also a touch of vintage glamour here, thanks to the dominance of powder. Not traditional chalky, talcum powder, but lavishly rich, makeup scented powder. :D To sum up: Darling! A great buy for those who love sweet, powdery florals with more panache than usual. :D

I received a purse spray of this as a free gift from Rasasi, and I had already been thinking about buying this perfume as it is said to be similar to Tendre Poison, and as a regular user of TP, I can definately vouch for that, it is very floral from first spray, and the drydown is exactly like TP, and even later still it may be even nicer than TP as its slightly more floral. It smells almost as if TP has been layered with something beautifully floral. I will definately re-purchase this perfume, and anyone missing the discontinued TP, will not be disappointed with this perfume. EDITED TO ADD: I now have the spray, and the oil, and I can say that they are BOTH just as beautiful smelling as each other, I cannot choose between them, I now have the purse spray in my purse....and the oil at home, perfect. I imagine the bottle of oil will last me longer than the spray bottle.... the oil does have a tad more longevity than the spray......sillage is about the same. spray........... 6-7 hours oil.................8-10 hours

RASASI ROMANCE FOREVER for men. It's not at the database. It's a fresh, herbal, slightly bitter and musky with a sub-sweet vibe at the drydown, warm weather daytime scent. It is similar to Dzintars Stylish Man as it is also heavy on wormwood the main player in both of them. Rasasi has a little bit stronger wormwood than the Stylish. There is also bergamot instead of orange in Stylish. Petitgrain, sage, mild nutmeg, faint rose and faint jasmine, strong musk and amber. I like both but I prefer the Stylish which feels more summery, lighter blend and more uplifting due to orange and sea notes. Longevity is slightly above average. Sillage/projection are moderate.

A nice sweet floral one!!!!! I keep it in my backpack for those moments feeling uncomfortable thinking that my perfume Dried out!!!! It's in a a small little bottle shaped like a love Potion!!!! I don't get the class of tendre poison!!!! But I like it! The longevity is so good! the great fact about concentrated perfume oils!!!! They all last long!!!! So long that you get bored of them hahahha!!!!! I also find this to be an excellent value for money! Jesus it costed like 10€ And it's doesn't smell cheap at all!!!!!!! I've never smelt Tendre Poison but this smells like a Charlie, Revlon or Elizabeth Arden type of perfume from the 90s... The vibe is like Revlon Unforgettable or EA Sunflowers. I'm not sure if my bottle needs to mature, I mostly smell something green for a bit then it becomes dusty with a bit of sweetness after about an hour. The lasting power is not good. I don't even get 2 hours. I'm rather disappointed.

I loved and will always love this perfume, it reminds me of tendre poison, I cant detect any powdriness , otherwise i would have hated it. It was gifted to me by a close fried who passed away almost 4 months ago. She was so passionate about perfumes, we used to sit and talk and sniff fragrances together as a beautiful hobby.

Too strong, it gets me a headache everytime I wear it. Here in Thailand is hot, this one makes me need a fresh air. Longevity is seriously great, wear it at 8 a.m. and it is still with you at 8 p.m. Sillage may not be the beast mode or room filling, but seems like it is trying to be like that.

Very pretty scent for the first time I have tested it in- Islamic Center at Devon Ave in Chicago. It's oriental and rich but light in use... I like how delicate it is... I like the idea of such a fancy roll on! Bottle is really pretty !

A gift from my dad over 15years ago. Over time it has become so powdery. For me, it is not wearable anymore but I like the packaging, it is one of the many beautiful bottles in my collection.

This has a very nice fragrance, but only the perfume oil or attar version, the/watered down edp dsnt smell very nice, it turns the composition sour and smells like something quite off.

A very strong sweet and a but bitter smell. I personally do not like too sweet parfumes, it gave me headache. Not really my thing...

I have the powder version and i like it, it smells clean and grownup, a little bit old but I'm into it.

This fragrance is very feminine. It is sweet and flowery. Perfect for Spring. I love it!

Similar to Tendre Poison. Lasts very well and on me till the following day.

I like it but I do have to say my bottle leaks at the top.
