Rumz Al Rasasi 9453 Pour Lui

I purchased Rasasi Rumz Al Rasasi Zebra Pour Lui (aka Rumz Al Rasasi 9325 - Pour Lui), Rasasi Rumz Al Rasasi Crocodile Pour Lui (aka Rumz Al Rasasi 9459 - Pour Lui) and Rasasi Rumz Al Rasasi Leo Pour Lui (aka Rumz Al Rasasi 9453 - Pour Lui) a couple years ago, so I am glad to see these fragrances finally added to the database. Leo initially reminded me of Amouage Jubilation Man upon first spray, but 5 minutes later I thought to myself "this smells like a Mancera fragrance!" as it gave off strong hints of Cedrat Boise and then teetered back-and-forth between Jubilation Man and Cedrat Boise (not Aventus) - and then 15-minutes later they had blended and starting smelling very pleasant and not unfamiliar...still similar to Jubilation Man, but also reminded me of another fragrance that I could not immediately recall. I later read where someone mentioned this fragrance reminded them of Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense. Yep, I can see that it does have a pinch of RWI or, to a lesser extend, Arabian Oud Kalemat Black in the background. It's a very interesting and lovable fragrance, but not a Jubilation Man clone IMO. It's one of those fragrances that briefly inspires fleeting thoughts of others fragrances, yet it manages to smell totally unique at the same time. Overall, I really like all three from this lineup because they are very quality scents for a small price (I paid under $90 for all three). Leo is my favorite because it's just a little more complex and unique than the others and, IMO, the other two smells more like clones of other popular scents. Performances is quite good in that it lasts 7-8 hours on my skin, and projects quite nicely for 2-3 hours...gentlemanly projection in that it gets noticed, but it won't fill a room nor beat anyone about the neck and shoulders. Finally, the bottles are kinda tacky and kinda cool at the same time. Cheers!

Well this is my first review. I've been exploring the house of Rasasi and i must say they do have some quality scents for good prices! Notes according to the Rasasi website: Top: Peach, Citrus Middle: Cedarwood, Sandalwood,Patchouli,Gaiac, Labdanum Base: Musk,Tonka,Amber,Vanilla & Praline I got samples of Black Afghano and Jubilation XXV recently and here is my take: I do think there are similarities with Black Afghano. Is it the same.. no.. but to my nose it's about an 75% match especially in the drydown. To my nose, Leo is a little bit more spicy and less sweet then black Afghano. I don't get the similarities to Jubilation XXV. For me, Jubilation is much more spicy then leo. Longivity is good (7 hours) Projection is ok for the first few hours, after this it's more of a skin scent. Seasons are fall/winter and the colder months of spring. Even without comparing the scent to others, it's a very nice scent! And if you look at the price, it's a no brainer!

This smells like luxury and consequence. A complex woody, layered heart lies waiting deep in a vault lined with dark velvet and containing violets, dates and spices. This DOES smell like something Bertrand Duchaufour would have created for Amourage but hasn't yet. Yes there is a synthetic oud note in the drydown but it's layered with other woods, vanilla and cognac. This is not one of those fragrances that evaporates to becomes a Firmenich oud base after the first hour. Longevity is not beast mode (after 5 hours I am left with complex wood on the skin only) but for something in this vein so complex at this price point who cares?

Amazing fragrance. one of the rare fragrances that I bought more than twice. Others are la nuit de l'homme, rasasi hawas, creed aventus and spicebomb. It has niche arabian desert vibe to it. This smells like a mysteriously seductive and rich Arabian prince but very friendly and not religious or pretentious . Because of this fragrance I bought Jubilation Man decant and Jubi is horrible, this is much much better but still retain an expensive desert vibe. A must buy.

Just got this one. No matter about all the "reminds me of " debates...lol. I will just say..IMO....yes, it does have "vibes" of some of those other scents...but it somehow stands on it's own. A touch of Jubilation ...Cuirs....and even Black Afgano...but not full on with any of those. I slept on this one...and now I am very glad I own it. I actually get decent performance so far...and it projects too.

As most of us know, the judge's gavel falls hardest when he's hungry. And originally I was very keen on trying this as rumour had it that it was a cheaper clone of Amouage's masterpiece Jubilation XXV. If it's meant to be a clone, it's not overly well done. It lacks the jammy fruit and the depth of the oud in Jubilation. So, should it be judged hardly ? Actually on it's own, and not comparing to other scents, it's a very good scent and you could maybe call it a westernized interpretation of Jubilation. Dark, spicy and full, opening with a bunch of cloves, going through a woody, floral and slightly soapy heart and finally settling on a base of vanilla and amber with a touch of musk. As others have mentioned below, the official notes from Rasasi are quite different, but any peach or citrus in the opening is completely lost on me. Projection is very decent and longevity is quite good. At the current price around $40 and below I'd say it's a pretty good deal if you are into woody orientals with cloves. Thumbs up!

This is not the strongest fragrance I have ever had but it is VERY nice indeed. The juice is high quality but with the performance you will need to spray a lot for it to last. It is sweet with a little spice here and there. Overall, for the right price, it is a winner. It is in no way a copy/clone/homage to JubXXV. Enjoy!

Way too green to be Jubilation-esque. It's got that dark dank grayish purple violet note of Narciso Rodriguez for Men (the original) but here less grassy but darker and smoother. It is resting on a dark ochre velvet blanket of gaiac wood and labdanum. Like a much darker and masculine take on The Game Intense for those who've smelled it. It reminds me of LM Hard Leather, too. Cloves, oud, honey, patchouli and labdanum-leather. An interesting blind buy, I will update more after testing on skin.

1 hour will pass until it smells like an ordinary oud. The beginning is a strong nose-burning spicyness. There are hundreds of oud scents in perfume shops now. not very special but cheap.

to my nose this is a skanky oud type. gone in 30 minutes.. well thats a good parts. nope. next please.

I am in love with this Rasasi collection! This perfume somehow starts off for me as a very boozy/sweet/woody fragrance, which no one else seems to mention here. This boozy opening then settles down really nicely and later dries down into an amber/vanilla scent. The first time, I only got loud amber in the drydown, but after having worn it a few times I got a little more vanilla, and loved it even more! Great performance for me. A lovely fragrance, especially for the price! The bottle is also very unique and beautiful. Edit: The opening is almost identical to black afgano. Rating: 9/10 - Amazing!

I don’t get many similarities with Jubilation XXV, maybe just the fruity notes in the opening. I have used a lot the Armani Myrrhe Imperiale and I’d say this is similar to it, which is funny because this one doesn’t have Myrrh... Maybe the combination of some of the notes the Armani doesn’t have (cedar, sandalwood, patchouli), creates an accord that resembles the Myrrh. EDIT: Today I found out, sampling them side by side, that it has a lot of similarities with Cuirs Barcelona. To me, this is 70% Cuirs Barcelona, 25% Myrrhe imperiale and 5% Jubilation XXV (just in the opening)

@timetraveller yes mate ive had this for a while! i bought it as i heard its similar to Jub! not no, as u mentioned u only get 5% similarities the first few mnts! this one is kinda clone of carner cuir/Black afgano! and to me its more close to cuir since it doesnt have that touch of green note u get out of afgano! it performs great and its kind cheap! and grants me compliments.

Falls somewhat between Nasomatto Black Afgano - Gucci Intense Oud/ Nasomatto Pardon. Niche quality juice at affordable price. Could have easily fetched more money if it was under niche label. A must try before buy. Blindbuy not recommended at all. Superstrong in beginning. Great for winter.

This is not Black Afghano...If you want a cheaper Black Afghano go for Al Haramain Black Oudh. This one opens spicy, with cloves and some powdery facets. On the dry down it`s a smooth vanilla/woody scent. Great performer for me...it`a BEAST ! It stays forever on you clothes.

this one got a nasomatto pardon dry down and it is also similar to wood and cognac by dua. I know the notes breakdown are different but the scent profile itself carrying the similarities from the 2 fragrances that I mentioned. I am not saying 1 to 1.

I can say this will always be my alternative for Dior suvage cause it got What the dior miss it's heavy and more green project really good and log lasting I used it and no one tell a difference

Bad blind buy. This smells extremely spicy and ambery (perhaps the cloves note)? If you like that sort of thing you may like this, but I can't wear it. Smells almost like oud.
