Shaghaf Pour Homme

Hooray! The easier to wear version of Shuhrah! I've found you at last. 😂 First and foremost - bottle - awesome. It looks and feels premium. The theme, to me at least, hints towards middle- eastern-perfumery-does-Invictus. The juice in the bottle is definitely a high heat summer essence and you know it has those sweet-floral vibes that Invictus also has yet Nafaeis Al Shaghaf is clearly not angled towards anything like a clone of anything in the Invictus line - even Invictus Legend. Anyway enough talk about Invictus. 🤣 Once you have prized off the very secure cap from the bottle the wafts from the atomiser and then the initial first spray (I went for just one spray after all the reviews kinda suggested that would be wise) give you a hit of the unique, sweet florals that are synonymous with Shuhrah (Tomato Leaf/Freesia/Rose) but here they are lighter, cooler, with none of the dense thickness of the florals found in Shuhrah. Then just when you think it is going to be "Shuhrah-Light" it actually takes an unexpected turn and heads off down a rabbit hole of soft, powdery woods (White Oud/Sandalwood?), light spices, sweet yet dry citrus and a soft trail of the opening florals but retreated to the back of the crowd just occasionally popping their heads up above the others. I enjoy many of the mass appealing and trending scent profiles in the mainstream but my real interest is in unusual fragrances that try to do something outside the mainstream whilst giving faint nods to familiarity. This is one of those scents that stands proud in that space. It is super strong - the initial 15-20 smelling direct from skin are quite cloying but after that this shines. Gloriously. I tend to agree that the notes give a more synthetic feel but they are all is so nicely partnered and blended that once you hit the dry down all is forgiven. Also the dry down, in particular, being the mainstay of this scent experience is what I think makes this a straight down the middle unisex scent. The sillage is a sweet, light, sunny-floral in the top coupled with a warm, 'tumble dryer sheet' freshness then soft, powdery, spicy woody notes in the base. That description might make it sound like other scents like Lalique White, Givenchy Gentleman Cologne or maybe even Parfums De Marly Galloway but no this is it's own thing. Definitely worth a try at least. Currently available in the UK for between £30 and £35 for 100ml eau de parfum.

Shaghaf is a bomb when you spray it, its very strong. The opening of shaghaf is really sweet and the drydown is floral sweet/little aquatic feel. The fragrance itself is very georgous smelling. I cant believe the quality of juice rasasi makes for such a good price. This could be a perfect summer scent but go light on the trigger, and it could work in very cold weather because of how strong it is. This is also a very unique fragrance, people will wonder what it is. I have dareej, hawas, and shaghaf and rasasi has impressed me with all of those fragrances, and they have become one of my favorite fragrance houses simply because of the quality, good prices, and the longetivity of the ones i have are amazing. Shaghaf gets a 10/10 Edit: after a week with this fragrance i picture a handsome prince that comes from royalty wearing it. As i have said previously in my review it smells "georgous" and it has a feel of a royal palace to me . 2nd Edit: after wearing this for a few months ive noticed there is a somewhat green element behind the sweetness. Ive also realised this could be a very unique club scent. Ive gone through half the bottle and i still think this is better than the popular mainstream fragrances, sauvage, bleu de chanel etc.

Wow... I really think this is the best perfume to date from Rasasi line. It is refined and elegant, it's fruity masculine (if such term exists)... The beginning is aquatic, but don't worry, it's not a clone of Invictus or Acqua di Gio or any other perfume, in fact I think Shaghaf placing itself very solid and refined. And then the fruity notes come out, making me feels like wearing tropical juice. The tonka and sandalwood keep the balance of sweetness in this perfume, so it doesn't fall into unisex fruity perfume. And it stays like that for the rest of its life, which detectable on me for about 10 hours or so. I can imagine a sophisticated and elegant man wearing this. Though it is fruity, but i really think that it's safe to be worn to work, as well as for going on holiday. It's versatile, it's wonderful, and it's a safe blindbuy.

So funny to read some reviews of this here. Hard to believe this could get such horrible reviews. Cigarette butt smell to skanky! haha. I have both and this is not either in anyway , I mean what planet are we on again? Ok so this is just plain and simple a banger summer pour homme. Before this I really love Versace pour homme as for fresh summer fragrance . Versace is more business smelling, but honestly this one is fruity/ tad floral and more playful. The bottle is classy the scent is just a banger summer fragrance. I absolutely love it. This a day out downtown when the suns out. I would never hesitate to grab for this before heading out on a nice day, A joy to smell.

This fragrance is like a fresh bouquet of roses, a fruit salad, and clean laundry all had a love child. It's that 'I just crushed my gym session, vibe fresh, sexy, and low-key 'I could steal your pizza but I’m too classy.' Wear it to the gym, and you'll get more compliments than a TikTok influencer. People will ask for your workout routine, but it’s just: wear this and smell amazing. Scent: 8.5/10. (Fresh, fruity, floral, but not 'I live in a garden'—more like 'I’m fancy, but I’m chill.') Projection: 8/10. (Leaves a nice trail without smacking people in the face.) Performance: 7.5/10. (Doesn’t last all day, but who needs it? You're out of the gym before it fades.)

Excellent! An anytime, anywhere fragrance. I have been wearing this for over two years to many different venues and in many varied situations. The opening is Lightly floral and lightly sweet fruity, but on my skin it has the sandalwood to ameliorate any too intense. This is perfect for work with one spritz and shopping three, clubbing more and so on. I have gotten many compliments with this and on dates I just do one spritz on my collar and one on my sleeve, done. It will last for 10 hours and radiate as sillage for 4 of those. In closing it is very good and an all around pleasing scent with great performance if you are a fan of floral slash fruity style scents!

This is my favorite scent from Rasasi. Not a clone of any mainstream perfume that we know but a zesty and refined Shuhrah minus the leather note. I for once dont like heavy leather scents because the pungent drydown of leather reminds me of piss and the smell of skin that never tasted a bath for days and weeks. This scent easily earns 8.2/10 overall rating. It will take a lot of guts for a guy to rock this floral scent but if you love Ylang Ylang from southeast asia, so easy to wear. My frnd had it so i just pick it up and open the cap and smelled. It was so refreshing fruity sweet and smooth .I immediately order full bottle for myself I mean nothing can go wrong with this one One of my female friend liked it so much that she asked me for borrow bottle I think it’s inoffensive Majority gonna like it. Scent profile absolutely enjoyable 8/10. ( i didn’t get long performance or maybe my nose goes blind but im giving 8

NOT A CLONE OF Invictus ..please people..this is its own lil beauty....its an unique perfume....one of the best rasasi ever produced...tons of fruits, acquatics notes up there for first 40 mins....then comes amazing tonka, mild oud and lots and lots of nice florals, musk and vanilla...lasts a LONG time...summer version of shuhrah..all the animalic ashy properties are gone.... a definite try for everyone ....LOVELY 10/10

I needed a fragrance for in the summer so after researching for a while i stumbled on Shaghaf and thought to give it a try because its so cheap. The bottle is nice and the smell is great. Its starts off really strong with lots of different smells but after a while it smelled like apples and fresh fruits. I would recommend this if you need a strong and long lasting fragrance for in this summer. 8/10.

If you liked Shuhrah then you will like Shaghaf very similar. This one is for the summer days and Shuhrah perfect for winter time. I do enjoy both they are not like designer fragrance. They are unique something different. You will get notice wearing both fragrance. I have over 100 fragrance and Rasasi make good fragrance almost niche quality and great price. Amazing stuff.

Omg i'm in love with this fragrance from the first spray a yummi fruity sweet delicous opening , .. longevity and projection are Insaaane , it was a blind buy ,very unique i don't think that i've ever smelled smth similar before so yeah it costs me just 40$ a really hidden gem I'm sure im gonna order it again 😍, i can wear this all year long not just in summer or spring

Absolutely gorgeous perfume. Smells delicious and makes you want to smell yourself all the day. I wore it to work and immediately was asked by two colleagues what I was wearing. One wanted to buy it for her husband. Shaghaf and Shuhrah are two of my favourite rasasi perfumes. I would put Shaghaf just above Shuhrah, though. 10/10 for me. Projection is great.

Another beast from the house of Rasasi. A great summer fragrance, though versatile enough to be worn on any occasion. It’s a strong compliment getter and a real head-turner. Just go for it.You get excellent value for the money. Note : To my nose, it feels like a sweeter interpretation of Shuhrah.

My Favorite frag from the house of rasasi fruits,flowers,mixed with smoky leathery,tobacco notes which makes it a unique fragrance if u wear no one would stop themselves from giving u a compliment..great longevity decent projection..gives a rich middle eastern feel..

Just tried Nafaeis Al Shaghaf Pour Homme today, and its basically a watered down version of the original Shaghaf Pour Homme... Sad Rasasi even changed the bottle color from green to blue. The green one is better than this blue one. olfactorx.blogspot.com

Synthetic? Yes, very much! but somehow it works perfectly. Very different from all the boring and overused western formulas. Performance is ridiculous for a summer fragrance. I don't like synthetic perfumes, but this was love at first sniff.

This is my new go-to scent! Shaghaf Pour Homme is incredibly sweet and fruity, but in a really sophisticated way. It lasts all day long and I get compliments everywhere I go. Definitely worth the hype!

I agree with Alemão 100%. This a more fruitier, possibly more airier or toned down Shuhrah which I also own. This is more wearable. I do love them both.

I liked it at first, but the sweetness eventually became too much and started to annoy me. It’s better than Hawas, though.

I got Nafeis al Shagaf (Renamed from old 'Shagaf') newer batch (Sept 2023) Indeed the notes on the fragractica contain fruits and many florals. In case you're not aware, this fragrance is not for the typical old style 'alpha-man' style for the guys out there. This fragrance are leaned more towards modern gentle/metrosexual man that adapts the best quality women have without being less masculine. ~Unisex opening towards masculine dry down~ The opening reminds me of Qaed Al Fursan pinapple-saffron but with half the fruity sweetness that makes it more mass pleasing and wearable, a bit heavy on the musk, soapy clean coming from pseudo aquatic smell, with slight bitterness that reminds me of the smell of the most luxurious sandalwood incense that my chinese family used for praying that available. Ingredients are well blended, a tiny bit synthetic fruits opening, you can tell by the price point being higher than other rasasis that the budget goes straight into the juice (SPL) and not the bottle or presentation. Fruitiness: 6.35/10 Freshness: 3.5/10 Woodyness: 3 in the opening moving towards 7.8 in the drydown Sillage: 2 ~ 3 Meters for about 10 seconds Projection: 1.5 ~ 2 Meters in 1~2 Hours dropping to 0.5 Meters in 3 hour Longevity: Summer daily wear lasted about 5~6 Hours strong (Sleep test / Nightwear - lasted about 10+ Hours) Great SPL and i still get a strong whiffs in 3~4 hour. Definitely not a love at first sniff to my untrained nose thats prefer basic citrusy freshies besides i blind buy the full bottle after some in depth researching, but not regreted after. Me and my GF gradually to like it more and more.

Shaghaf pour Homme might be flowery but florals come through almost as vegetal. On my skin I'm smelling a skanky smell from the beginning to the end. This barnyardish smell I'm experiencing breaks it for me, unfortunately. There's also a dry, smoky presence within. Ok, maybe I overstated: the skank is not that bad. When dried down, it turns into "individual" smell on skin very nicely. After that I'm detecting skank only when smelling close. I think this fragrance can't be fully appreciated from a paper strip. I would recommend this as a spring/summer scent to a man who's not afraid of a smell that differs from the usual western world designer assortment. Good counterparts for winter usage would be, in my opinion: Rasasi Shuhrah Pour Homme , Bentley Intense for Man, and maybe Amouage Interlude Man or Tauer 02 L'Air du Desert Marocain. Heck, I would even throw a guess that Shaghaf can be layered with these! I respect Shaghaf Pour Homme very much, although I will never buy a full bottle. Unless my taste dramatically change... Edit 2023: Okay then, my taste dramatically changed. This is awesome! Floral and fruity. I need this. And Shuhrah pour homme too.

This is an interesting one... It’s fresh and floral with an ashy masculine touch that is noticeable up close but in the air it is fresh, clean, and floral with some woodiness. I get reminded of a sweeter amber version of amouge lyric man, and the florals are less dry than the amouge. I don’t get anything aquatic from this but there’s something I’ve smelled in aquatic fragrances to sweeten them without the saltiness. The masculine component is “ashy” not Smokey like burning wood but ashy like the fire has come and gone with remnants of the sandalwood intermingled to add some woodiness to the ash. Performance lasting has been all day from morning to night on me, but it is an evolving fragrance. First 1-2 hours is fruity and ambery with the ashy undertone. After 2 hours and most of the fragrance life, fruity notes will die off leaving sweet and clean florals, dried by the ashy/woody notes. I wouldn’t call this a clone of amouge lyric man but definitely that vibe and fragrance style. Excellent value for money, does not smell cheap or alcoholic.

Okay, this is way better than Rasasi Shurah. Just imagine no harsh notes that shurah has at the opening. The combination of leather, oud, oak moss IMO is terrible smells like cigarette ashtray or left over cigarettes buds tucked under leather taxi seats on a hot day. Shaghaf Pour Homme (OG bottle) by Rasasi encapsulates this scent of luxury middle eastern hotel soaps you find in luxurious 5-star hotels in Dubai. Scent profile: It is fruity, white musky, powdery, push, and has florals like rose, and the sandalwood in this fragrance balances each note making it well blended. This does not smell like barnyard the Oud in this is not skanky Oud either. If you don't have a trained nose on Oud don’t call it barnyard. This Oud smells very subtle and the sandalwood is playing a huge role in This fragrance along with the white musk and florals and fruity accords.

Nafaeis Al Shaghaf Pour Homme by Rasasi: it opens with a bright, fresh & clean opening that is slightly synthetic, a mixture of Fruity-Floral accords. In the middle phase, floral elements like Jasmine, Rose, and Ylang-Ylang with a musky and woody undertone enhance its beauty and make it invigorating & long-lasting. Finally, it ends at a warm, woody, Leathery, and sweet base of musk, vanilla, and Tonka Bean. The performance and projection are not an issue with this one. It's quite strong, complex, and unique, not a direct clone of any designer perfume. However, it has a synthetic opening, and the overall strength of its DNA can make it a Love-Hate kinda scent. But it offers great value for money and other than direct sunlight on hot days, you can wear it any other time of the day. Even during the Fall & Spring, one can pull it off.

A very good low cost fragrance for Singapore's high heat weather. Opening is a bit harsh for me and all over the place. I do get the soapy smell(that is if you spray it on your skin and smell directly) but I picked up the rose almost immediately. Very strong rosey smell, not really fruity but my wife said otherwise. The rose does seem to die down a little in the dry down but I still find it to be quite prominent. Overall it's a very sweet, floral scent. Performance is good! 8-10+ hours Nuclear projection for the first hour or so. And after that first hour or so it died down quite abruptly and sit closer to the skin. Not entirely a skin scent but people have to come closer to you to be able to smell it. I give this Scent: 6.5/10 Performance: 8/10

Updated review. When I first got it, nuclear projection for about the first hr or so then died down quick and sits close to the skin. So today, I decided to wear it for the first time in 2 months of it being on the shelf and performance is so much better now. Projection, I would say loud for the first 2 hours, then becomes moderate, pretty consistenly for the next few hours. I'm still getting strong whiffs of it at the 4+hr mark. I'm still giving this a 6.5/10 for scent. It's a bit too floral for my liking. Fresh enough and definitely works best in high heat. So performance on this I have to bump it up to 9/10. Solid performance but the scent is just not for me.

#23 Review of My Fragrances Collection Its a good fragrance with fruity, sweet and floral scent. It project so strong and the longevity too for the fresh fruity fragrance. But i dont like the musky note in this frag, when drydown its annoy me. if there no musky in it, it will be amazing. Price at the market place is Rp480.000 (30 Dollar) if you get nice preloved with juice 90% of this it will be good, i check it there is someone sell it at Rp300.000-Rp350.000 (19-22 Dollar). Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 8.7/10 Projection: 8.7/10 Price Value: 7/10

It's lovely but it's not unique for me. It's too close to Rasasi Shuhrah and Ard Al Zaafaran Oudi which I already own. To my nose it's not particularly lighter and summery than either except for perhaps a very slight aquatic leaning. I think that I was expecting a really light high heat almost gym-like fragrance with hints of Shuhrah in there. This isn't critism. If you don't own those two then go for it. It's great value, performs extremely well and is very likable.

Literally smells like shuhrah but sweeter and less smokey. Decent enough but I smelled them side by side and they are very very similar. I’m kind of lost on this one as to why? If Shuhrah already existed then why even make this? Fruity Shuhrah maybe? I’ll take it because I love Rasasi but I would like to see something a little different and new.

This is rasasi shuhrah in different bottle, but it more soapy in the opening rather shuhrah, the rest is just very similar in the air. Good for office scent and cold weather, i don't know this is wearable for summer. Performance (in terms longevity) not good as shuhrah but this is long lasting enough, still worth the price. My first association with Rasasi. A very neat and floral fragrance with a hint of Tobacco or Leather. Long lasting and decent projecting frag. In love with the transition of notes at each level though it is indicated as a linear perfume. Lovin' it!

Fruit cocktail, anyone ? Shaghaf (or Nafeis al Shaghaf as it's called today - I believe the meaning is "precious") is a very sweet green summer floral that is heavy on ylang-ylang and rose. It opens like the juice in a fruit cocktail (or wine gums) and transforms into a sweet synthetic aquatic. The drydown of musk, vanilla and tonka is bearable to me, but the opening hour is unfortunately just too much, simply too strong. Shaghaf is quite unique, yet it could be mistaken for a female perfume. Fortunately, perfumery isn’t magic and the impression of one person will be quite different from the next. People like me would wonder how this is released as a masculine scent, but I believe the perfumery scene has taken an overall turn for the sweeter within the last decade. Probably intended for clubbing on summer nights, but due to the sweetness I find it to become cloying. I actually thought I’d enjoy it, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The good news : it’s an EdP, it’s quite cheap and it has great lasting power and projection. I’ve even been complemented by my girlfriend if that counts ? The bad news : I’m just not a fan and the reason why I don’t enjoy it, is probably that I’m too old – I’d imagine this to be a hit with the twenty-somethings. Overall, I believe that Rasasi have every reason to be proud of this release, unfortunately it just isn’t for me

A nice, long-lasting summer fragrance, but sadly without depth. The opening is very chemical, like pressing an open bottle of pure alcohol against your nose. I also get a very faint smell of sweat, similar to that of Armani Stronger With You. It has a faint dirty and spicy smell to it. It then turns into a watery, fruity and sweet scent with a slight hint of rose, and also has musk in it that stops it from being feminine. This reminds me somewhat of Azzaro Chrome, but in a middle-eastern way, stronger, louder, less subtle and without the metallic notes of Chrome. A lot of Arabic barbershops I've went to smell exactly like this. It is also very sticky, it stays for days on the collar of a jacket and will immediately transfer the smell from your skin to your clothes if they come in contact. Projects well for the first 3 hours and lasts for 6-8 hours mostly. A pass for me, it is not that exciting and is very synthetic, but it certainly makes for a good cheapy and beginner's fragrance for the summer.

Batch: Dec 2025 Country: Malaysia (hot and humid) Testing Period: 5 days My Opinion 1. The scent is quite strange. At the spray nozzle, it smells fruity, sweet, airy, and fresh. However, when sprayed, the alcohol smell is very strong and unpleasant, even after several minutes and hours. Occasionally, after a few sprays, I can catch the scent similar to what I smell at the nozzle. It might need a longer maceration period. 2. The price in Malaysia after discount is RM86 (≈ USD18). The retail price is around RM110 (≈ USD23). 3. Sillage: low to moderate Projection: low to moderate Longevity: average to above average Conclusion: If it requires maceration for the scent to develop properly, then it is a good purchase for the price. If the scent remains the same, then it is a bad purchase. I decided to give it to my brother. Rating: If it smells like the nozzle: 7.5/10 Otherwise: 2/10

My first review of this was really harsh because when I first got it there was a strange note that kept throwing me off the entire smell. Made it hard to enjoy for me. Then I saw a CubaKnow video of him reviewing it and he kept saying he got this strange smell too that reminded him of warm dryer sheets. Out of curiosity I resprayed Shurah and I could immediately make that scent connection as to the off putting smell I kept getting. Made this a lot more enjoyable for me and now I can appreciate the smell more. I think it’ll grow on me the more I wear it but definitely threw me off completely at first. For those who feel like it’s a bad fragrance like I used to I’d say just let it grow on you a bit because you might be surprised

Just like “Unmodernized” comment below me, I don’t know the high rating of this cologne. It starts with a mild fruity floral smell that lasts for a couple of minutes, after that until the very end there’s a very very faint floral/fruity that’s completely overpowered by an extremely harsh peppery, very chemical smell that grabbed my olfactory nerves on a chokehold, I sprayed my skin and my clothes and the effect is the same a chemical mess that has absolutely no resemblance of any smell in nature. If I have to describe the smell is very close to pepper spray mixed with hairspray.

Powdered flower bomb. Heaps of it that will last at least 10 hours. Leans Unisex to my nose, I don't get any Vanilla or Tonka, no doubt crushed by the flower power. This is not blind-buy worthy and will split opinions, If you are a fan of strong powdery florals, this is an 8.5/10. But do get a sample first as this stuff is STRONG. I don't dislike it, but it's not for me. I'll never find myself in a situation where I will reach for this and feel I can rock it. Therefore a 5.5/10.

Super fresh, harsh Soapy scent it's strong as heck ! Theirs a hint of a cleaning detergent with floral notes. It's very cloying you can definitely over spray this for sure so be careful! Two sprays max ! I would test this before buying not for me it was very chemically and synthetic it last forever . Performance 10/10 Smell 2/10 Versatility 2/10 Overall Rating 3/10

Opens up with a sharp note that could be off-putting, but after a few minutes it mellows out and the smell becomes mostly of a traditional soap. Clean soapy smell with some flowers and sweetness with hints of that initial sharp musky note. Longevity is really good and the projection/sillage are close to beast mode territory.

There's a unlisted marine accord here and a 'soapy' vibe in the middle. A bit generic floral though-out. Not a win for me. The pretty soap in your grandmothers bathroom that no one uses.
