Sotoor Taa'

This is just freaking astonishing, it has everything that you could ever ask for in a perfume. Smells good? check! simplicity but with character and depth? check! versatility? check! performance? check! Rasasi as usual hasn't disappointed me ever and with this they have hit it out of the park, this is probably one of my top 3 in my collection and for the price I paid (about €30) this is a steal! As many have already mentioned, this is very similar to Gucci Guilty so I wont go into that but this just feels more bodied and rounded. Performance is very good! lasts for about 7-8 hours on my skin (which is rare) and days on clothes, with great projection for the first 2-3 hours. Insanely versatile as well, you can practically wear it in any season at any time. I kind of like the presentation becuase its very simple and sophisticated and the aotmizer is amazing; however, the only gripe I have is the rather cheap and loose-fitting cap, you cannot hold the bottle by cap at all and it ruins the feel of the bottle. Overall, this is a criminally underrated true allrounder fragrance that is probably impossible to dislike, grab a bottle asap! This is truly signature scent worthy!

Excellent fragrance! I tried Gucci Guilty at a local shop and can confirm this is definitely a stronger inspiration of that. Very pleasant smell, nothing new though. The magic with this is the sillage. Just amazing wafts going about the day. I'll get a true test on longevity today, but I can tell this will carry past the workday. I'll give my rates when I return for an update. I can't see a time this fragrance won't work...even strong enough for the winter. Update 7/17/24: On the first day of wear, without maceration, this lasted on skin for 10 hours. It projected very well for about 3+ hours. The heat loves this fragrance! Excellent for warmer days. Not sure how it will carry in the cold yet, but tis the season for this fragrance. Masculine floral woody, smooth. Ratings below. Keep in mind, this is before maceration. Bought this cologne because someone told me it was a Gucci Guilty clone. I can confirm this smells almost exactly like Gucci Guilty however in my opinion it has a slightly more green hint to it. Went out to see my parents and their friends at a bar and instantly had people talking about what I was wearing (my mom is a big fan of Gucci Guilty so she's somewhat biased). Incredible for the price, honestly wish more people talked about and knew about this (maybe it's better they don't so I can gatekeep). Worst part about the cologne is the bottle cap, just a cheap plastic piece, can sometimes fall off if you pick up your cologne by the cap and can cause you to drop the cologne.

Signature scent worthy. Honestly, this fragrance is criminally underrated, earning a solid 10/10 in every aspect unless, of course, it happens to be offensive to you. The only hiccup was that my bottle leaked a bit of oil outside the box, but that aside, I'm perplexed at how this gem isn't more hyped. It's an incredibly versatile fragrance suitable for all-day, everyday wear, and it comes at a very reasonable price point. Performance is noteworthy, making it no slouch and far superior to Gucci Guilty. If you're on the lookout for a fantastic scent that ticks all the boxes, this one deserves serious consideration.

Love it...great quality for the value..nice presentation..long lasting...simply check all the boxes for me. Now let's talk about the smell. Starts like Gucci Guilty pour homme, and somehow in the first couple minutes I detect some notes from the Guilty pour femme..I don't know how..don't ask me:). You will be shocked how close it is to Guilty pour homme. Toward the dry down the perfume starts to go into the Chennel Allure Homme Sport drydown...it is just like getting whiffs of CAHS while GG is the main role player. Lasts for a long time on my skin with good sillage.

Another excellent fragrance from Rasasi. This is a solid alternative to Gucci Guilty, with noticeably better performance in every aspect. Compared to Gucci Guilty, it offers much stronger longevity, projection, and sillage. The scent is pleasant, smooth, and never harsh, making it very easy to wear. It’s also a consistent compliment getter, as it tends to appeal to most people without being overpowering. Overall, it delivers great value for money and is a well-rounded, reliable fragrance.

The best seller from the Sotoor line, per the saleslady. Taa is a fresh musky fragrance that combines the fresh notes of orange blossom & seawater with a green & musky patchouli-cardamom to give a fresh & lightly sweet-&-spicy musky aromatic scent. The smell is very familiar, I believe this smells very close to Gucci Guilty Black: the same aromatic green scent with a sweet musky base. Overall, really good. Safe & inoffensive. Mass appealing & probable compliment magnet. "Love"

This fragrance is absolutely amazing. The scent bubble envelopes me every time I wear it. I've only smelled Gucci Guilty pour homme a few times, and although I see the similarities, I find Sootor Taa better, as in my nose, it has an additional freshness. When a fragrance reminds my nose that it's present, that equates to a pleasurable wearing experience, and Taa does just that. I love this scent.

Insane value. Gucci released the scent profile over a decade ago but somehow it’s still garners attention; rightfully so. Sotoor has taken 96% of DNA and brought better performance to the picture. I find with this fragrance that people around me tend to enjoy it when I go for moderate projection instead of beast mode. I will buy more bottles of this soon

Love this stuff! A freshie that can hang in the winter. 4 sprays at 6am, still lingers at 2pm. Someone mentioned this scents killer trait....Sillage. This leaves a lovely trail behind you. It's not obnoxiously thermonuclear. Gentle, but present. Classy stuff from Rasasi, and a massively slept on frag. 8/10 for me.

Sotoor Taa is like Gucci Guilty Eau Extreme: take the original Gucci Gulty, mix it with the creamy/powdery vibe of Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme and you get this! Really really good release, underrated for sure. 8,5/10

Best Gucci guilty clone monster project 2 to 3 sprays max but in the air the Neroil and sea notes in the air makes it irresistible and with the pink pepper to add a little spice to it 👌

If you like Gucci guilty this is almost the same fragrance but on steroids it radiates for a long time it’s a great fragrance with great performance what much do you want

This perfume is a 10/10. On my skin it lasts 12 hours. It is identical to the guilty Gucci but with power 💪 and good projection. 🌬️ I love it.

This one is moderately sweet, soapy cardamom, signature scent worthy fragrance with great performance. I love this stuff ❤️

Very strong and yet fresh summer sweet fragrance.

First up, this is a beast! 5 sprays to my chest and shirt, and it is still projecting to elbow length at 5.5 hours, and wafting up strongly. Second, the notes don't really tell the story. The core of this is citrus from citral and limonene, lavender from linalool, and lovely bitter/spicy green notes from the geranium, pepper, patchouli and cardamom. At certain times a bit of amber and vanilla from the coumarin will come along to sweeten and smooth things out, but these fade before the citrus and green notes. Very unusual. To my nose, the acquatic, floral and cedar notes are detectable only in their effect (acquatic tones freshen, floral tones give a little sparkle, cedar provides a bit of smoothness) but are not actually identifiable as notes. Beware any YouTubers who say differently! This one had me right from the start. Bright but not sharp, and I love my green notes. The amber shows through in the heart, making this a very different fragrance in a very nice way. I was eagerly awaiting the final transformation into the base when the whole thing went ... flat. The juiciness of the citrus notes got shallower and a little sweaty-smelling. The cardamom and pepper disappeared with the amber/vanilla and the geranium/patchouli took on a slightly sour tone. A little bit of sweetness or a solid cedar note would probably have compensated somewhat for these changes, but they were nowhere to be found. Disappointing, especially for a Rasasi - they seem to be a step up from Afnan and Armaf. This certainly deserves another try, next time with only two sprays, and I will update this.

Im just here to say that Rasasi is becoming the GOAT of clones. This is def on the Gucci G line, like the OG and Black (if I recall blk correctly). As stated below, this has Designer quality written all over it. Lightly synthetic, and yes, they nailed the inspiration, and Rasasi tends to have long lasting scents. On initial spray, its what I call soft floral, and the drydown has the clean (soft not sharp) floral smell w an added 20% sweetness that comes out. I've worn in cool weather but now is the heat and will test and see the performance and geling with the higher temps. "Trust in God and Never in Govt" ☮️ 🕊

Recently purchased 2022 batch it's not performing well in day but performs very well in night well anyways I love the quality of the juice so no complaints from me.

It’s a Gucci guilty on steroids but I feel the oil is so much it takes over my nose. I love the OG it’s duping but for some odd reason I can’t get myself to like this one. There’s something about it, whether it’s the material they used or not when I spray this for the first 30 mins it smells like a synthetic mess. It’s been in my closet for 3 years now and still hasn’t changed. Just a blast of alcohol and 30 mins later it smells like a Gucci guilt synthetic mess. I can appreciate the fact they atleast did make the Gucci guilty dna last 100x times longer than the OG. Nevertheless I just don’t like it as much as I liked the original. 5/10 scent wise. 6.5/10 dupe of Gucci guilty in terms of closeness to the smell. 8/10 for projection and sillage.

just a chemical mess, I can't get any note listed above. it smells like cheapie fragrances you can find in a supermarket.I didn't expect this shot from Rasasi, that makes scents, maybe with low longevity, but good at least. I suspect mine it's fake

2nd review: Got my hands on another bottle after four years by choice, i think my first one was a dud or affected by heat or something, as I bought it from an online seller and not from Rasasi directly. The 2nd time around I can say easily, glorious stuff reminiscent of the unique Gucci Guilty, which I had the chance to use many years ago when it first came out. This is more of a fresh scent rather than a marine one, with an eclectic mix of floral (Orange blossom, Geranium, Lavender), Spicy (Pink pepper, Cardamom) and Marine accords, rounded off with the usual amber, cedar & patchouli notes. This is one of those scents which you can use in any weather and even during the day and evening. All seasonal scent? Yes, can be worn in all seasons. Unisex? Masculine scent Blind buy worthy? A safe purchase, especially if you were a fan of the original GG. Performance? Longevity, 7 to 8 hours, with good projection and silage (after maceration, expecting it to enhance further, based on my experience with arabian houses!)

This stuff is phenomenal. Definitely a cousin to the Guilty line, but better in almost every facet. Quality and longevity are far better, not a surprise as Rassasi always impresses. As someone who doesn't love Gucci Guilty due to it kinda being over done, this is great. Takes a lot of what is good about the line and makes it its own. Imagine the niche version of the best parts found across the line, and that's this.

Not sure if it's me but the bottle i purchased dated from 2021 is really weak. Lasts probably 10 mins and then faint skin scent. I've let it mascerate for a couple of months too. I'm not going nose blind either as others cannot smell the scent on me. Are people that are getting monster projection have bottles dates a lot newer? Any response would be much appreciated

The first spray on skin for me gives off a strange animalic vibe (more like urinary) or maybe it is due to the alcohol? Not sure. However after 10 minutes it dissipates and you have a combination of spicy, marine and prominent floral notes. I agree the scent is nothing special, however the performance is very good. I would call it a safe summer scent.

i don't know about it, but i like the rasasi house as they tend to produce nice alternatives. However, CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHETHER ONE SHOULD BUY this Sotoor #TAA or Hawas OG for compliments and smell profile. help me reducing confusion . thanks in advance, loves from Dhaka, Bangladesh

If you’ve got either Rasasi dareej or Givenchy gentleman only, don’t bother with this. Opening is very similar to gentleman only and the middle and dry down is very similar to dareej. Nothing special but a pleasant smell which lasts on my skin for the whole day

Gorgeous floral freshie, opens brisk and a touch spicy, gets sweeter and more vanillic as it dries on my skin. Really great for spring, I look forward to trying in the summer. Lasts all day, much stronger on my clothes than skin.
