Nocturno Elixir

Rayhaan Nocturno Elixir... Okay, this one genuinely surprised me, and definitely not in the way I expected. Let me explain. I’ve never tried Bleu de Chanel Parfum or L’Exclusif, so I went into this expecting something like a much more refined Club de Nuit Iconic. I couldn’t have been more wrong. For the first few minutes, it does remind me a little of CDN Iconic. Then, almost out of nowhere, it completely changes direction. Suddenly, I was smelling something incredibly familiar, but I just couldn’t put my finger on it. I kept digging through my olfactory memory until... click. Guerlain Samsara. Samsara was my mother’s signature fragrance for many years, so I know that scent very well. I’m not saying they smell alike note for note, because they don’t. In fact, they have very little in common on paper. But something in the creamy, powdery woods instantly brought back that memory. After about 40 minutes, the fragrance evolves yet again, and this is where it surprised me even more. It starts giving me the same elegant, freshly washed, perfectly ironed shirt vibe that I get from Prada L’Homme. Again, it makes no sense on paper since there’s no iris listed, but that’s exactly where my mind went. At this point, Nocturno Elixir feels like a blue interpretation of that clean, sophisticated style. It’s smooth, refined, and effortlessly elegant. In the end, it isn’t exactly what I was looking for, but it was a very pleasant surprise. If you’re expecting a straightforward “better CDN Iconic,” you might be as surprised as I was. Instead, you’ll find a fragrance that feels more mature, more polished, and incredibly versatile. A classy scent that works beautifully for almost any occasion.

I mean... wow. Just wow. The fact that this fragrance hasn’t blown up yet is honestly astounding to me, although perhaps people simply don’t find the Bleu de Chanel DNA as exciting anymore. I’ve been looking for something like this ever since I first tried Armaf Blue Iconic, but Nocturno Elixir truly hits the spot, it smells about 95% similar to Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif. I first smelled L’Exclusif at an airport in China, and I couldn’t stop going back to the test strip and smelling it over and over again. I loved the scent, but the price felt insane for what it offered. Nocturno Elixir, however, absolutely nails it. It smells amazing, premium, deep, and incredibly well blended. The performance is also seriously impressive. Yesterday, after showering at around 20:00, I sprayed it on my chest, around my neck, and on my T-shirt. When I woke up at 07:00 the next morning, my entire pillow still smelled like it, and I could clearly smell the fragrance around me. When I picked up the T-shirt from my desk chair, I was hit by another intense wave of that Bleu de Chanel style scent. Even after roughly eleven hours, the shirt was still creating a noticeable scent bubble around me. I’ve already bought two more bottles because I genuinely don’t want to run out. The scent is clean, blue, deep, and slightly creamy, with that recognizable citrusy lemon character, although it feels a little smoother and more toned down here. It smells elegant, versatile, and far more expensive than it actually is. Honestly, it’s amazing.

I've not smelled what its duping but this smells VERY nice. Opening is a bit harsh but maybe its because its still new. (4/2026 batch number) Longevity is pretty good for this price point as well. could still smell the bubble around me after 8 hours. im sure this will only get better as with most rayhaans. To me this just smells like BDC edp/parfum but less "smoother" but a lot more affordable. Update - why does the dry down smell kinda off on clothes ? i saw some comments mentioning this as well!! i wasnt too bad on skin because i was done for the day but on clothes past a certain time it gets kinda bad.

Very very simple packaging, nothing special. However, very very special scent for me. This will be my new signature scent of any day. Got my first BDC around 15 years ago, and after I got Nocturno today, I think I am gonna switch to it. Very very similar BDC, but with better Longetivity dan Projection. The scent I would say around 95% similar to a combination of BDC EDP and L’exclusive, with a toned down incense scent and slightly brighter profile. And I think that what makes this have a better projection. And with much less $$$, I could even spray more on my shirt (even more projection). LOL

It's pretty incredible what you can get for 30 dollars these days. Nocturno Elixir smells very high quality and expensive, performs very decent and it has got a magnetic cap as well. Got some compliments yesterday from ladies (one 5 hours after application so that should tell you something about the performance). Rayhaan captured the aromatic, ambery woody drydown of L'exclusif - that makes it more mature and classy - really well and that is what you are gonna smell for the most part with this fragrance. It's by no means a basic summer freshie or a juvenile showergel fragrance. 9.2/10

This is a recent pick up and I'm wearing it today. It's excellent! I have owned the three iterations of BdC , EdT, EdP and parfum and this is very close to the parfum. Currently it's projecting well and has a nice, slightly powdery sandalwood dry down. I've never smelt L'Exclusif so I can't comment on any similarities to that. I don't detect any "fecal" note which some posts have stated, but then again Fragrantica seems to be afflicted with an abundance of s**t posters (no pun intended). Really good fragrance! Well done Rayhaan.

If you love the premium DNA of BDC this is a must buy. It opens with a clean, straight out of the shower feel. Dry down evolves into a rich, creamy lavender and sandalwood base that smells expensive and office safe. Performance wise is a total beast for a freshie. I’m easily getting 2–3 hours of projection and a solid 8-10 hours of longevity on skin. Feels like a 93% Exclusif for a fraction of the cost and this is 9/10 blind buy for me. Don't bother with Seasons Drift and Khadlaj Icon, I wasted my money. This one is the best.

I love this Bleu de chanel exclusif 80-85% similarity, it smells really close but after the first two hours this smells more citrus, and the exclusif goes into a more woody-ish smell. It's incredible for the price, i reccommend it, It's more of a combination between bleu de chanel edt and exclusif if you ask me. Very very strong projection in the first 3 hours, and then it becomes a skin scent for 5-6 more hours. If you like the bleu de chanel DNA this is for you. It smells very close and super expensive for the price (30$)

So I smelled all 3, other two being khadlaj icon and Rayhaan nocturnal elixir. From my analysis; khadlaj icon starts off closer to the Og, is smoother and more well blended but as it goes to the dry down it wavers a bit and also the longevity isn’t great. Rayhaan on the other hand starts off doing its own thing , but after 10 min or so it gets closer to the OG and as it approaches the dry down extremely close to the Og. And the most long lasting of the 3. After maturing Rayhaan is definitely the clear winner of the 3

Amazing and smooth rendition of BDC L. They really captured that DNA so well. BDC has been my go to for years but I just don’t want to spend the $200 anymore. This is a perfect replacement. It does have this animatic scent to it that some are calling “poopy”. That goes away quickly with macerating and time. It’s not poopy, it’s more of a pheromone scent. It’s hard to describe without sounding bad. It’s not funk or body odor. But it’s in that category but in a good way, if that makes sense.

The hype is that this is a clone of BDC l’Exclusif. This was secondary to me though, I just wanted another blue fragrance that smelled great and was dark and woody rich in the drydown, opening is not a concern as it disappears quickly in my humid climate. This sold out quick from my favorite sellers in my area, I had to get it from others. Well, so far, before oxidation/maturation, it is already just as I wanted, warm and smoky too. Will update later.

This stuff is f’ing great. I would consider it to be blind buy safe. If you’re into the fresh shower gel type of vibes then you should definitely get it. Still not sure about performance as i just got it, i usually do 20 sprays for all my ME fragrances and put them back in the box for a couple of weeks. Will check back with updates but so far very impressed and second bottle worthy.

literally any dude can wear this as long as youre above 21. it would go with any male adult. showergel + sandalwood is a very nice combination, smells like BDC parfum to me. longevity in extreme heat is 2-3 hours outdoors. indoor it can push up to 5-6 hours. overall 8.5/10

It’s interesting there is such a dividing opinion on this one. I find it great, much closer to BDC Parfum than L’Exclusif. It lasts very long and has quite strong sillage, I’m actually very impressed with it and highly recommend it!

I had BdC Parfum, and I attest that Rayhaan Nocturno Elixir is basically BdC Parfum, and not L'Exclusif. I don't get the "horseshit" vibe L'Exclusif or it's clones have. Really good perfume.

Great alternative to Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif. Great performance. 90% accurate. Any season day or night. Age 20+ More ‘male’ leaning. 8.5/10. Beautiful bottle. A bargain.

Rayhaan Nocturno Elixir opens with a fresh blend of citrus and herbal mint supported by a noticeable fruity sweetness. The sweetness gives the opening body without becoming candied, as the mint and an early woody backbone keep everything balanced. The fragrance immediately carries a modern Bleu de Chanel-style structure, feeling dry and well blended rather than juicy or syrupy. As it develops, the composition becomes even smoother as the citrus, mint, and woods blend together. The citrus remains present longer than expected while the smoky woody backbone gradually begins to emerge. Unlike my previous wear, I noticed very little of the bubblegum sweetness this time, resulting in a more mature and balanced progression. The texture is especially impressive, remaining smooth and almost powdery without becoming heavy. The drydown transitions into a woody profile as the fresh top notes gradually melt into the base. A restrained smoky character adds depth without dominating the fragrance, and while there is a faint wet dog nuance within the woods, it remains subtle enough that it never detracts from the overall experience. By the final hours, the fragrance has simplified into a soft woody, lightly smoky scent with moderate longevity of around 7.5 hours. Overall, the opening felt smoother and more refined than the other clones of this DNA that I’ve tried. The downside is that the citrus, projection, and smoky woody drydown all have less presence. The fragrance never feels as bold or as expressive as the original style it is inspired by, trading projection for a softer, more polished presentation. It’s an enjoyable fragrance with a well-executed structure, but the reduced push keeps it from standing out as much as it could. Score: 7.5/10

Oh man Rayhaan Nocturno Elixir, If sophisticated joy and smelling like a CEO could have a baby it would be this. First and foremost I have never smelled Bleu de Chanel, any version of it. I wish I had but fragrance houses here either don't carry it or are simply too far away for me to get to. Nocturno Elixir opens up a little funky with quite the punch, this is not a fresh blue scent, it's somewhat heavy without being too much. I'm usually not a big fan of Geranium in my fragrances, but in Nocturno Elixir with the combination of lemon zest, a slight hint of minty edge and the ever present sandalwood it's an almost irresistable scent. It's an incredibly smooth blend of many, across the board, likeable ingredients that give Nocturno Elixir the edge it needs. It's long lasting, smooth, can be worn all around the year, although i'm sceptical about wearing it in actual hot weather. Day time, night time, date nights, office job, sales, whatever it doesn't matter, extremely signature scent worthy even when it doesn't really have anything Extraordinary about it from a smelly water enjoyer's perspective. Oh and did I mention it's pretty much always under 30€ ??? That seems insane, it's oncomprehensible to me how this fragrance hasn't taken over the scene by storm yet and in my mind it should receive way more coverage. The bottle is nothing special, though it does look like it smells, unassuming, unapologetically like itself. The magnetic cap is a beautiful little extra. 8/10 smell overall.

It’s fascinating how polarizing this fragrance is. Ignore the bizarre, exaggerated reviews about 'off-putting notes' – they are completely misleading and might scare away potential buyers. I almost missed out because of them, but I took a gamble on a blind buy, and I’m so glad I did! Unlike the original Nocturno, which I strongly disliked and sold immediately due to its heavy shaving-foam vibe, this flanker is completely different and vastly superior. It’s a wonderful scent with a lovely, slightly powdery sandalwood drydown. On my skin, longevity is moderate – around 3-4 hours initially – but it’s still an incredible value for the money. Fragrance is entirely subjective, so don't let the trolls dictate your taste. It’s affordable enough to buy blindly, and if it doesn’t work out, you can always resell it. Highly recommended!

I'm not super familiar with BDC, so I won't compare. In the air, it's fairly generic. Honestly, smells like the cosmetics section in a Department store. Not a bad smell, but not distinctive or interesting to me at all. On the skin, it's a little more full of life - some citrus, spices and a hint on incense and floral. Smells high end. I see the attraction, it's well crafted, it's just not my scent profile. I almost blind bought, glad I didn't. 6.5/10

The opening is really amazing, you can easily feel the freshness of the limon zest and the manly vibes it provides with the woody notes on the background, I was ready to give the highest rating. However, once it sits, like 30mins+, it becomes much more powdery (which I, personally don't like and didn't expect). So, have this in mind, for me it is a no and I'm very happy it was a sample. I will try the Seasons Drift from Riifs, hopefully it's better.

Only wore it once so far so my initial impression is it’s good but not worth the hype it’s getting. I’ve never smelled the OG so I’m just judging it by its own I do like most of Rayhaan frags. A few I really like. But this so far is a nice smelling masculine fragrance. I’m got average performance but it did last til the next morning on my shirt. Great presentation and good price. But as of now it’s a low 4/5 for me boarders on an ok release

Actually opening is really pleasent, because it smells like sauvage edp and bdc edp combined together. but what i looking for, was this smokey-rotten woods from l'exclusive, and i definitely got this after 10-15 minutes fresh-blue-shower gel opening. It doesn't change too much after mid, it's get a little bit creamier at the end. Just great fragrance, quite pleasant quality of juice. And no, don't get CDNI instead LOL.

Bought mine yesterday, it has a serious funk to it, almost like poo. I will let it sit for a few months then come back to it Now that it has sat for over 3 months, I used it to and got 2 compliments and I also loved it. If you buy it and find it off putting, spray it a few times and forget it existed for 3 months. You would thank me . It initially honestly smelled like feaces

Definitely not a 1:1 of l’exclusif. I think this one actually deviates quite a bit from that smell. A much more fresh youthful and sweet take on that classic BDC dna. To me it’s a bit powdery in the opening but nonetheless still a pretty good scent. It’s a great dumb reach.

i agree with @daed1996. it IS funky, but for the very first hour. something in the opening is.... idk, weird? but yeah, the dry down is beautiful. it's a decent buy. and it lasts pretty long. not offensive at all.

After the mixed reviews i blind bought it. The poo smell.. you can really smell a little bit in the first 20min but nothing crazy so just ignore these comments. When i opened the box instantly smelled the chanel dns. The scent overall is very good. The longevity is about 6-8 hours. Only problem is the sillage.. 3 hrs little bit more than skin scent, not moderate. You have a nice aura but after that the remaining 3-5 hrs only skin scent. And you need to apply a lot. Thats my first rayhaan fragrance so i dont know but you can get better frags for that price. I will let rest the bottle i hope it will be stronger later.

This perfume, I would compare it to "durian." Some people find it pleasant, while others think it smells stinky. However, for those who detect a "poop" (read Wood) note in it, don’t rush to sell your perfume yet. Give it a chance—let it macerate first. Mine, after one month, has toned down the wood smell, and the citrus notes have become more dominant. Now it’s much more mass-pleasing, unlike before when I received mixed reactions from people around me. So far, this is the most noticeable change in a perfume I’ve experienced after maceration.

If you can get past the disgusting opening, it's an amazing fragrance. To describe the opening: Just imagine you sprayed bdc edp on your skin and after letting it sit for 5 minutes, some nutjob suddenly LICKS the part of your skin where you sprayed. Not just licked, gave it a FRENCH KISS AND SLOBBERED all over it. Before maceration, the saliva smell was there for HOURS. Now, it lingers for only five minutes at most and then, after that, beautiful fuckin fragrance. In short, it's an amazing fragrance, IF you could get past the opening.

BDC OG DNA is noticeable for a few second after spray before it turn into more darker scent from the wood. Even if I smell the atomizer it smell like BDC and not the darker woody L'Exclusif. For the scent imo even some influencer says it is one of the best blue fragrance, I think this is not safe blind buy because of the woodiness especially for young people below 25. I like the smell but for 3days I wearing this I get mixed reaction from people around me.

Guys, I'm the only one who smelled poop and bathroom with disinfectant? It opens very well, in a few minutes later it smells like what I described. I'll give it a chance, I'll leave it saved for a few months and see how it will be later. I have many Rayhaan perfumes and I liked them all so far, maybe this is the first one I don't like. I'll wait for it to macerate and then I'll come back here

Thankfully I decided to get a 10ml sample of this. Safe, pretty predictable, and completely underwhelming, despite the inevitable hype. Have respirated this a few times through out the day. It’s not discernible on my skin, or clothing anything beyond the first hour or so. Given this is nudged up against other ‘popular’ blue scents by the likes of RL etc, it’s way overpriced.

If this is supposed to be a clone of BDC Le'exclusif they missed the mark, this doesn't smell like it at all (not a problem for me because the OG is rough imo), none of the resinous leather like the OG and is far fresher. Buy this if you like the OG minus the animalistic leather, otherwise you are getting about 60% close.

Got my hands used it for test sprays ...smells amazing . Good on Projection for first 2_3:hours in 3_4 feet circle , longevity 8-10'oj skinn and 18+ hours on clothes , Sillage wasn't able to mark it yet . A good perfume from the house of Rayhaan

First impressions I like it but the quality is no were near any bleu de chanel. Nice blue simple men's scent. Scent 7.5/10 Performance 6/10 Bottle worthy? not convinced yet. I will wait and update

I used it for multiple occasions, initially I assumed needs time to mature . Post 2 months tried it but not that great very weak projection & longevity.

Opening is good. Dry down is bad. Has arabian or middle Eastern vibe, performance not good as well.. 😔

First impression of 10ml sample: It is close to BDC. Not exactly L'Exclusif, as that one is even darker and leathery. Maybe the parfum and L'Exclusif combined then. If you like BDC, I guess you will like this. Haven't tested performance, but just off the first sprays on my skin, it doesn't last long. This might change as the fragrance matures. I really don't like the BDC DNA, and I don't see why anyone would wear this over a Sauvage or Y clone. It smells like a poopy shower gel. Small edit: I applied 4 sprays to my forearm ~4h ago and it is basically gone. The poopy opening lasted around 20 minutes. After that it is more tolerable, but still not preferable over other fresh fragrances. The Maison Asrar Rey on my other forearm for example, is still noticeable, even though that in itself is not a long-lasting fragrance in my opinion. There's a chance the liquid is so new, that it is performing and smelling badly - but if not, then I'm happy I didn't blind buy this fragrance simply due to it being made by Rayhaan. Edit 2: In the air, it smells a lot better quality and more masculine. No poopy note. Will keep testing performance.

Like others said, the opening is great. The drydown however is really bad, like a sour version of missoni parfum pour homme. I bought a FB, sprayed it on my clothes. After my gym session, I opened my locker and hell it smelled bad. I couldn't put the clothes on. I don't think the youtubers go past the opening when testing them. I'll buy the OG instead. @Ed2224 : I have the same batchcode. And honestly, I tried a sample before buying it and it was ok. The FB on the other hand is very bad. Maybe a batch issue

Disappointingly another weak ass fragrance! Batch No: U260651 Date: 03/2026 Everything I’ve seen about this suggests it’s a strong frag, YouTube is hyping the crap out of this as usual, but seriously I can barely smell it, It’s very light with minimal projection. Hmmm, Are people really ‘smelling this all day’ 🤔 Purchased this alongside a bottle of standard Nocturno at the same time which is the better performing of the two, so either it’s my skin or more likely it’s just another glazed piece of 💩

This would have been a perfect fragrance if it were not for a very weird, off-putting smell in the deep dry down. It's what people are referring to as a "poopy" or "middle eastern funk" smell. I'll give it more time to see if that horrible stench disappears. But for now, it's a 6/10 with great potential. Edit: This is lowkey getting worse with time 💀

Update: tried BdC Exclusif in an airport: it smells the same as Nocturno. It is an exact clone, but still hard pass Just opened the box: WTF is this? It has some bright BdC vibe, but there's also a funkiness behind (rancid butter? BO?). I own BdC Parfum, and it's not even close. Long masturbation is in order.

Came back to give an updated review after owning for a month - the opening note definitely smells lika Saliva as other people have mentioned. It's very weird/unsettling and even though the drydown is nice I can't get past spraying this stuff on myself lol. Score: 2/5

Smells literally like I shit on my pants and haven't changed yet. Has nothing to do with exclusif. It's like the BDC eau de parfum turned bad somehow. The influencers did it again...
