Undone

I tried all nine perfumes from the Recreation line and must say they’re all beautifully crafted. I enjoyed their transitions, even though not every one was for me. Undone stood out to me surprisingly as one for the gym, odd, I know, but it actually works really well! more on that later. It opens quite green but not for long. A touch of fig lingers as the scent moves into its peppery stage, and a soft hint of pepper remains as it settles into a sweet (but not overly sweet) amber. I feel clean, empowered, and sexy while wearing it, which is why I started using it at the gym haha plus the sillage is intimate, and the longevity short, which is fine since I shower right after anyway. (I also feel comfortable applying this one directly to my skin before putting on my gym clothes. No endocrine disrupting chemicals and what not) My advice for anyone choosing a gym fragrance: go for low sillage (it should be for you not on other gym goers face), skip the long-lasting ones, and pick scents that make you feel fresh, focused, or energized. There will be trial and error, but this one hit the mark for me. Plus I like to think of the name Undone to me going to the gym "not put together" or "not done up"

on me this is very peppery! the opening is really green, and the pepper comes through to me almost immediately. this is pretty powdery as well. with time this gets a little bit sweeter but not much. i rated this ok because this isn't my type of perfume, but this is definitely a very well made perfume! i can definitely understand people liking this scent. plus i love this brand and the non-toxicity. it smells like quality. and you can actually smell the notes from the very first moment, instead of getting a headache inducing alcohol/chemical smell.

MISLEADING-NOT NATURAL. I was excited to support a natural perfume brand and ordered the discovery set. They generally smell like what you'd expect from any commercial perfume brand and they're not bad. However, all the marketing gear the consumer up for some absolutely gorgeous natural botanical fragrances, and what a serious let down it was when I could smell copious amounts of synthetic materials. I'm not against synthetics (if biodegradable ones), these fragrances are just not like the way the marketing suggests! The ingredient lists all the botanical names of plants supposedly in the fragrance, which would make you think the whole thing is natural. Unfortunately this is simply NOT TRUE. Most consumers just wouldn't have any idea what a genuinely natural perfume smells like and can only go by the marketing/ ingredient list from the brand. Unfortunately for the trained nose, it is quite obvious that these are not natural fragrances, they may have some naturals in there but the majority of these formulas are made up by a back bone structure of synthetics. The fragrance price of these also does not reflect a genuine natural fragrance, the price of such precious naturals is astronomical! Furthermore, some of the naturals stated in the other fragrances, such as gardenia are actually impossible to obtain at a commercial level. Genuine vanilla is an incredibly expensive material to work with in natural perfumery and is almost always substituted with vanillin which can be natural so I would suspect this has been used and not Tahitian vanilla tincture or absolute- that's only a guess but highly likely. My pet-hate is lack of transparency, why mislead customers by listing only the botanical names in the ingredient list. Where it says blend of 'nature-identicals' this is a whole heap of synthetics! Honesty is my policy and it's obvious that this brand does not match that same ethos. This brand ruins it for truly natural brands out there trying to do good things.

I bought this thinking I'd looooove it. Im impressed on how it stands out, but it's not my vibe. The fig leaf is so strong on this one. It's very green and it's a little praline . It just stays boldly green on me. It's really well done for a hormone-friendly fragrance, yet it doesnt last more than a couple of hours on me. I think I'm going to pop this away for a time and revisit in the winter, I think it might shine better then
