Reef 29

My first fragrance, and still my favorite. I purchased this at a Reef kiosk, being my very first fragrance purchase. It's good enough that I've now ordered multiple sample sets from premier brands, and have purchased several more full bottles of other products from Reef. I can't recommend this one enough. As soon as I spray it, I feel energized, invigorated, and refreshed! It comes out strong with a fruity, saffron smell that's complimented by a floral backdrop. Behind that is a nice blend of amber and powder, which really fills out the fragrance and adds just a bit of weight to it. I do wish it lasted longer, however that's just because I love it so much! I find this fragrance in my sheets, and I'll toss and turn just to get another puff of this product rolling from under the comforter. I see most people have rated this for use in any season, and I totally agree. It's also entirely unisex. I think this product could benefit from just a slightly heavier ingredient added to it, or more amber, but honestly I'm just finding something to critique. It's a wonderful product that smells fresh and sophisticated, at the same price point as a generic purchase from a mall retailer. If you buy two bottles from their site during a promotion, and you like this kind of fragrance, I'd also recommend Summer Pink. Yeah, it's marketed for women, but my 74 year old biker stepdad from the woods came to me a week after smelling me walk by wearing the sample, and he wanted to know what it was. My fragrance buddy was also extremely impressed with it. If you like Reef 29 kind of stuff, don't let Summer Pink get past you.

I really like this when I smelled it from the bottle, but when I sprayed it on myself it definitely leans more masculine. Right away when I smelled it though, I got Bacarat Rouge 540. It's a bit of a sweeter, bolder take on it, but the dry down is similar. Overall, I think this is really great, and it lasts a long time too!

It reminds me of invictus and hawas ice
