Reem Acra Eau de Parfum

This is lovely. Yesterday afternoon, I tested Organic Glam Orange Blossom, which is aptly named - it is a soliflore; it brought Reem Acra to mind, which meant I needed to wear this today... On first spraying, there is a powerful and beautiful orange blossom scent; having tested OGOB immediately beforehand, I know I am not mis-smelling it. I am not picking up on any other flowers, though - certainly not lily of the valley, which I find very distinctive. Orange blossom is supported by a rich and creamy amber, smooth (not dirty) patchouli and gentle cedar. Although RA is spicy, I really can't smell ginger. Reem Acra bursts out of the bottle - you think it's going to have massive sillage, but it tames to a moderate throw very quickly. Longevity is 3-4 hours on my skin (which is dry and sucks up perfume) but is only 6 hours or so on clothing as well. I feel this is probably best suited to cooler temperatures - it's an autumn perfume. At the moment, it's surprisingly cheap - well worth the £30 or so GBP for 50ml (eBay) and at that price you can afford to reapply. Reem Acra smells as if it is made from high quality, natural ingredients. It's a real beauty and definitely safe to buy blind if you like warm orientals; I also think it's unisex.

This is unbelievably delicious! There really isn't much to review. It is straightforward, fairly linear, and absolutely perfect in its simplicity! The floral blooms, amber and pear mingle and make this divine orange blossom honey note. Ahhh! I feel like I can soak in this, like some sticky, Egyptian bath for its age rejuvenating properties, until my fingers prune. There is a slightly spicy warmth ruminating from the ginger, musk and patchouli, like sun-kissed rocks offer heat after a cold swim. A soapiness from lily of the valley and peony, with the brightness of bergamot and cedar, lift this rather heavy concoction emboldening an intermittent airiness and periods of chest expanding elation. There are no tricks here; no bizarre or unfamiliar ingredients. This scent doesn't try to fool you, or incite ambivalence regarding its validity or character. You won't have to wear it for months, and in different climates to know if you like it, or study books about its composition or structure. There won't be any stirring of the mind with postulations of the nature of its depth and potential, or what 'technique' put it all into being. No, not here. Here it is radiantly tangible. Here it simply is wonderful.

There is isn't much I can say about Reem Acra that hasn't been said already. Except to say that depending on the season, this scent has two distinct charecters.. I find in the summer, the orange blossom plays a major supporting role and takes the edge off the musk and patchouli which I do find chokes me slightly, getting up my nose in the winter and the scent becomes more bitter as opposed to its sweet, juicy, summer, self. Which is when I prefer to wear it the most, as it is far more rounded out and smooth around it's musky edges. It also leaves a subtle, sweet, spicy trail which is nice, as Reem doesn't shout, but rather she glides by, spun in gold spice and orange blssom, whispering just loud enough for those next to you to hear her. Also, Reem Acra does not last long on the skin but I have found, it does on clothes!!..And today, I've had more then 12hrs on my t-shirt.. Overall, I think Reem Acra is a lovely wildcard to add to my collection as it was a blind buy in a charity store and I took a gamble on it based on the price and I have not regretted it. Thanks Reem

I can't compare it to Armani Code as I've never tried that one...but I can say this scent is delicious and I can't believe it's taken me so long to buy a full bottle!! It opens with rich orange blossom and jasmine on me, but not too heady....it's sexy without being indolic or TOO much. I thankfully didn't get a huge amount of LOTV as that makes me sneeze, but just a lot of warm amber, jasmine, some patchouli (not very strong---the amber and jasmine are the stars here) ---and the drydown is amber and sweet musk. Not a lot of spiciness to it, which I think means I am not getting any ginger, but that's ok. This scent is sexy and cozy and can be found for a steal at TJ's and Marshalls (look for the gift sets!) Oh, and the bottle is gorgeous as well. :)

First of all thank you to my lovely swap partner for giving me the opportunity to try this lovely gem. This is a clone to Armani code. I've got them both here side by side and Reem has more potency but the scent is virtually the same. If you love Armani Code but were disappointed in the lasting power go for the Reem Acra. Last a really long time and shares virtually the exact same notes. Since I love Armani Code I of course and in love with Reem. A definite hit in my book very lovely, smooth, sexy, gentle and not overbearing. All around a gorgeous well done fragrance. The bottle is also extremely attractive and I would proudly display this on my vanity for all to see. Presentation +10 Fragrance 10 Lasting power 8-10

Reem Acra is not your typical amber, in the very best way. The amber is less sweet and more realistic - almost recalling the utilitarian resin that I long ago stroked across my violin bow - but add beautifully blended notes of orange blossoms, musk, patchouli, peach, and jasmine to support the amber accords. It is a beautiful example of the power of a subtle amber perfume and my appreciation for it grows each time I wear it. Once exclusive to Saks, these bottles now inexplicably sit on bargain basement shelves. A terrible shame, because after spending quite some time sniffing different amber perfumes, RA continues to hold steady in my top three favorites.

If you took Madonna's Truth or Dare, removed the tuberose and replaced it with extra jasmine then mixed it with a touch of Madonna's Naked you would get Reem Acra. I tried it for the first time today and can't get enough. Amazing juice. I have reapplied it three times so I can keep the intensity going (I'm working at home) I LOVE it! Eventually it will soften into a sweet, feminine scent that sits close to the skin. You can wear this to the office and not offend anyone. This is definitely going to be one of my favourite scents for the summer.

Overall: 9/10 Here's Why: The MOST realistic Jasmine and Orange Blossom I have ever smelled. This is such a beautiful and long lasting perfume. Smells as though I'm in a fragrant flower garden, its warm and everything was just watered... Such a delicious smell I can't take it! Smelling my wrists all day as this just goes and goes. What a wonderful sensual, realistic fragrance. Fresh, Soft, Florals and a Milky Musk. Wonderful Stuff! (Men can pull this off trust me I get lot's of compliments!)

Love! I had been reading responses to this on the fragrantica forums but assumed it was out of my price range to even bother. But when I got wind it was available at TJ Maxx/Marshall's stores for an incredibly good deal I had to get out there. It's just a beautiful and luxurious amber and lightly spicy, I couldn't stop sniffing. The downside? Like others say, it's fairly poor lasting, which is such a shame because if it lasted all day I would be set. Still worth it, though.

What a pleasant surprise this perfume is... I bought it because of the comparison to Armani code and the very affordable price... I am blown away at the beauty, strength and quality of the juice inside the gorgeous gold plated bottle! The opening is candied oranges swimming in ambery ginger syrup, then comes the orange blossom shining though and lingering for hours... It's like a perfect blend of ellie saab and Armani code, I'm so glad I found this hidden gem!! 10/10

Reem Acra is beautiful from beginning to the dry down. It starts a little stronger with the patchouli and floral notes leading, well-blended with everything working together. It mellows ethereally on the skin, soft and slightly powdery with light sweetness only where the amber and wood notes start emerging and joining the opening notes. I am very much surprised this is not more popular than it is. Lovely, lovely scent that made it to my top 5.

Oh my God, this is so good. I might say I love it! I find it linear, basically beautiful orange blossoms hard candy (I don't think there is such a thing) with amber. Just a slight touch of patchouli in the top with a touch of ginger for spice. Dries down to amber only. This is amber for wimps, but great for me. Soft, elegant, clean but rich. Pleasant to my nose the whole way through. Now I must buy the big bottle before it disappears :)

I'm a guy and I just purchased this for a steal and this stuff is wow !!!!!!!!!It totally floral and fruit Laden sCent if I've ever smelled one!! I can only imagine how few shots of oud mixed with this would make for an amazing bouquet even stronger than this one is....And this is one very powerful scent...Found this for a very low price but this is top-shelf quality stuff here...And lastly but not leastly I am a guy reviewer...CIAO

This reminds me of something I've smelled before but not sure what. Somewhat like Krystal but there is something a little different there. I liked it immediately. My husband commented that I smelled good. Waiting for reviews from the office folk. Girly, earthy, floral, a little orangey. All good. Update: Smells a lot like White Horse by Al Rehab. But Reem Acru costs quite a bit more than White Horse.

I find this one to be heartbreakingly beautiful. The cloud of mist when sprayed is the most perfect scent imaginable. A balmy impression of orange trees in blossom (the first orange blossom in a perfume I've ever found to stand up to the real thing), jasmine necklaces, salty caramels dipped in chocolate, soft amber. I was literally heartbroken when I dropped my sample on the floor and it broke!

I can't believe how underrated this perfume is. How unfair!!! This is the perfect floral oriental that's so easy to wear. talk about Niche quality that you are buying at a clearance price. All women will enjoy this fragrance especially in fall.

Beautiful, elegant and just a joy to wear! I get compliments galore; I was feeling the need to get something new and delicious and this is it!. A must try!

Highly underrated!This is a Masterpiece!

I used to live near a cafe that had a variety of croissants, including one filled with orange cream. If that cafe had been relocated to Lebanon, and sat side-by-side with a spice vendor, down the street from a flower market, it would be Reem Acra's perfume brought to life. This is a gorgeous, intoxicating scent that makes me think of leaves turning gold in the fall and pumpkin spice lattes (okay, or hot apple cider if you're not a member of the PSL Fan Club). I've seen a few complaints about longevity and sillage so I kept careful note yesterday- I did two spritzes around 10:00 am (wrist and neck), then one more at 11:00 am before I left the house (wrist again, it was my only exposed skin as I was bundled up!). When I got home six hours later (at 5:00 pm) the scent was still very noticeable and maintained some projection. I have a feeling this one clings to your clothes a bit, so try spraying when dressed, or get dressed right after spraying to "lock" the scent close to your body.

This is a soft and slightly sweet floriental. Remember the powerhouse florientals of the 80s and 90s -- scents like Vicky Tiel Sirene, Guess (original in twisted bottle), Nicole Miller, Jil Sander #4? This is as though you've taken one of those fragrances and updated it/toned it down for the modern nose. It starts with orange blossom and florals (jasmine?) blended with what smells like amber and a soft musk. It later moves to a typical floriental drydown of sweet, powdery, well-blended notes, like a soft blanket. I'm finding I really like this and may consider purchasing a bottle. I am not getting any patchouli whatsoever from this (if it's there, it's so well blended with the other notes that it doesn't strike me); I'm also not detecting the cedar or pear notes. To summarize, it's definitely worth sampling if you're tired of the current fruitchouli and ho-hum floral offerings on Sephora's shelves. It almost reminds me of a more subtle Lady Million without the fruity notes.

I always forget what a pleasant, quality, long lasting but not overpowering fragrance this is. It’s classy and unique, subtle but striking. I mostly get a very smooth, vanilla-leaning amber note with a touch of fuzzy, cozy musk and a hint of florals. I don’t get distinct floral notes, but there’s a lightness and clean almost soapiness/freshness that I think the florals bring. Patchouli is here faintly to darken and anchor the scent, but it is not heavy; some of that anchor may also be cedar and the bergamot, but also not heavy and not too masculine although I think this could be enjoyed by men and women both. I was surprised to not see a balsam/incense note, as I feel like it has that quality. Not big projection, likely someone next to me would smell it subtly; longevity is impressive, it’s 8 hours after spraying and I still smell it quite distinctively. I’m wearing it at work and think it’s appropriate (office environment) but not boring. Nice for cool fall weather.

I can confirm every previous positive review of the fragrance itself, the sublime amber, the rich spices, the dense patchouli, the exotic orange blossom... in short, the true floral oriental nature of the scent. Absolutely beautiful! HOWEVER, the longevity is far too short before this becomes a very private skin scent. Whether sprayed on my skin or fabric, this delightful fragrance disappeared in less than hour. I have NEVER had a beautiful fragrance disappear in such a short time. Even pressing my nose to the application points fails to detect a bare hint of it at 1 hour. Bottomline: gorgeous but fleeting. I found the gift set with lotion & shower gel for a bargain price but I wish it had come in a 5ml-10ml oil rollerball like my $5.00 Al-Rehab beauties that last 10-12 hours & against which, sadly, Reem Acra pales. If this lasts on your skin (or even your scarf!) I truly envy you.

I too snagged it up for a steal as a blind buy based on the notes and reviews. On me it’s orange blossom sweetened with pear, warmed by ginger, amber and a clean, fabric softener type musk, like a cross between Roberto Cavalli edp and 24 Faubourg. It has a sophisticated and distinctly late 80’s/ early 90’s vibe- which is probably why I like it; it’s reminiscent of the first perfumes I liked as a child. For a modern creation this is refreshingly mature smelling- no sticky sweet candy here, thank goodness! It is a bit heavy though and I could see it getting a bit stifling in closed spaces. It’s the kind of scent that could definitely make me car sick or give me a headache if I oversprayed. Today the high was 30F and Reem Acra is warm and a bit spicy as it begins to dry down. We’ll see how it fares in warmer temperatures.

Though the scent is familiar, the first 15 minutes experiencing this perfume I thought I'd made a mistake and should have gone with a larger bottle. But now I know why this is not a bigger hit: on my skin I get 75 minutes tops before it completely vanishes - completely. Nothing left, not even as a skin scent. I'm now experimenting with spraying on clothes trying to eek out more time with it because it really is very nice. My first impression: JP Gaultier classic dupe. With orange blossom, amber and citrus it also reminds me of Safanad by Perfums de Marly, which also shares the pear note. I like Reem Acra better, but both JP Classic and Safanad last at least twice as long. That's where Reem Acra falls short. This effort is very natural and beautiful. I just wished it had better performance. The bottle is gorgeous.

Reem Acra is a wonderful jasmine skin scent. Not like a perfume that has faded, really, but one whose intention is to lie close and warm. Not every perfume has to have big sillage to be alluring. This perfume is for those times when you want to smell like a creamy, buttery lotion with just a bit of extra amber and vanilla. You will smell amazing, but not necessarily like perfume. Whether at the office, grocery store or an intimate evening at home, Reem Acra carries only one message...relax. Update: I wore this perfume today after not wearing it for months, and was overwhelmed by the strong orange blossom opening. Still nice, but a little much for me and different than I remember when wearing it at other times of the year.

My best perfume story has to be with this fragrance. An associate that works with me comes over with a customer; “Hey, this customer is looking for a fragrance, maybe you know about it. It’s called Ramaka...Ramkara, Ramka, I’m not sure. (Turns to the woman) What was the fragrance? Ramaka?” Customer: (in a heavy accent) ”REEM AKRA!” Me: “it’s right here.” Other associate sprays the fragrance to show the woman the scent on a blotter. “So you’re familiar with Ra-maka?” Customer: “it’s REEM AKRA and I AM her! She was in our store to do a trunk show with her fashions, nobody knew. The associate helping her turned beet red in embarrassment ahahahaha

I bought this last year and didn't really like it. To my nose, at first whiff it smells like a men's cologne. But just recently I pulled it out again and now I love it. The first evening I wore it I could not stop smelling my wrist. I love the dry down. It's in the drydown and not the initial blast that I smell the orange blossom. But it's not a sweet orange blossom. It's reminiscent of my childhood in the orange groves - pungent orange blossom intertwined with the smell of leaves and the earth. I wish it lasted a bit longer but at this price I can spray more often.

Just met the designer today. She's a very nice lady; elegant, polite, sweet, intriguing style and short stature. Unfortunately she didn't stay for long and moved on to attend business. I must say that her fragrance represented her 100%! Unfortunately that translates to the fragrance as just being nice, not too strong, has a light sweetness to it, as well as doesn't stay on long...so I moved on myself. Reminds me a lot of Burberry The Brit on the dry down, but I prefer the Brit more by a long shot. Sorry Ms. Acra!

This really reminds me of my bottle of Armani Code for women. Sweet orange blossom and lots of ginger w/ jasmine swimming in a beautiful pool of amber. Huge performance w/ this one better than Armani Code. Edit: I should have been a bit more specific in my review. Armani Code is more citrus in the top and Reem acra is more animalic but only a touch. When my bottle of Armani Code is empty I will replace it with Reem acra. Really good floral amber.

I'll start with the beautiful bottle- it is really superb, made with metal and the cap is heavy. On my skin it opens up with orange blossom that quickly mixes with a light jasmine and ginger. The dry down is a woody orange blossom with a hint of jasmine. The scent is delicate and really delicious but unfortunately longevity is lacking (about 3hrs on the skin) but keeping in mind the price range is $20, so you can just re-apply. I really like it!

Ooooooh...this is beautiful!! I just purchased a 3 oz bottle at Marshall's for $12.99, and I can't stop sniffing my hand. The most prominent note is orange blossom,followed by jasmine,amber, and spices.This feels warm and exotic. I don't have any perfume in my collection that smells like this. I absolutely love it. Reem is a well blended,quality fragrance. Top shelf. I would recommend, especially if you don't want to smell like everyone else.

This is a warm pleasant amberish scent , a bit oriental but not heady nor overly spicy I like it better in winter , it stays close to the skin but it is not weak by any means....it is rich and feminine, a bit exotic, warm. Lovely!!! I can hardly detect the patchouli.Which is good..as it is a note than cam be challenging to my nose There is a quality throughout the scent, I like that it isn't worn by lots out there!!!

Two sprays even is too much, definitely headache inducing. Quite potent, and as others have mentioned it's all but gone after two hours (maybe even less) so the longevity isn't great. On my skin it smells a little bit like Chanel's scent profile. Mature, a little bit dated, but quite lovely depending on the wearer. It smells a little bit like powdery almond water after a while which is strange + definitely smells more expensive than it is. None of the notes stand out to me. The bottle is beautiful, but the juice inside is not for me. I'm too young for it.

I’m guessing that Armani Code wouldn’t wow me. I’ve smelled it in the past, but it’s been a long time. This is nice, but at this point I have so many amber perfumes, it has to be more unique for me to justify buying a full bottle. Edit: I gave it another shot. Still boring to me and mature. Nope. I would get a sample unless you love Armani Code or any of the other smells like. I have Ellie Saab Le Parfum, they’re different. That’s brighter and fresher, I believe.

I got this off of eBay for under $20 bucks. I think it has soured. I have given it several wear tests and personally, I do not enjoy this at all. I love orange blossom, ambers and soapy, powdery scents. I get the ginger and the orange blossom peaks through... It's that darn sour-offness of it. I think this must have been very pretty at one time... I did get two compliments tonight which shocked me. Reem Acra has been in and out of my shopping cart for the past 5 years. I have been very curious about her. I imagined that she would be deep and syrupy. When I saw that it reminded people of Sultan Or by Pascal Moribito I was sold and finally bought her. I don't find her rich or deep at all, but thin and lacking. Not sweet in the least. I do smell the similarity to Armani Code for Women. I wasn't too thrilled about that one either. No dopamine rush what-so-ever for me. None, nada, zip.

I think I kinda agree with Jobob. I couldn't pick out any one note. Patchouli, ceder, musk, pear, lily of the valley...not one could I smell. Overall I got the "woody" smell just as strong as Jobob. This might be a beautiful scent after it's sat for a spell. With these notes and a spray every so often, it might become amazing. It certainly has the potential! The two bottles at my TJ's are 4.00 and 3.00. The 3.00 bottles isn't even open! I want to get this and give it a chance. I just have a feeling it's a diamond. But I've so dang many that I love already. I'm trying to not collect just cheap bottles here and there for a "sample". That's a huge fault of mine. For 5.00 to 10.00....any bottle is just a HUGE sample! I think if you like this and kinda want it...go ahead! It's cheap with a pretty nice bottle...I better git OUT of here before I change my OWN mind! ugh....

Started out promising ,with a fresh burst of citrus and juicy fruit,delicate floral notes intermingled nicely, adding balance.20 minutes later,all I get is a woodsy musk and sour fruit undertone,as if juice had begun to spoil.One hour later it was just a memory.

Major letdown...the more it dried down the cheaper it smelled. My Mom tried it and felt the same. I had high expectations based on reviews and the fact that this woman designs crazy-beautiful clothing. It is no surprise this was discontinued.

I don't get where this fragrance is a floral. It smells awful on me. A very strong spicy and woody smell. It was on clearance at tjmaxx so no big loss.

I am sooooo disappointed. I really thought I was going to fall head over heels for this one. On the one hand, I love the zesty opening of bergamot, pretty, sweet orange blossom, and fresh crisp pear. The combination is practically scrumptious. Then the fragrance gets sweeter, and a little zestier when the ginger and spice shows up. Jasmine makes a grand appearance and it is a big clean Jasmine, almost overwhelming at one point. It's so loud the peony is hardly detectable. Honey amber then joins the mix. At this point the like register is really going up. Then a light cedar shows up, the Jasmine calms down, the orange blossom is detectable again, and it starts getting musky. Just when I'm about to tip over the edge into full-blown love, the spices and ginger intensify - and intensify - and intensify - to the point where I feel like my bronchials are on fire. The ginger is so strong it's hot. The soft musk could not tamp down the heat. I had to take it off because it was really bothering me. What a let down! I so loved the opening, and most of the heart, but that excessive spice and ginger killed it for me. If they had only lightened up on those notes this scent would have been a winner. The only consolation is that it was inexpensive. I would be really upset if I paid the $135.00 this was selling for when it first came out. Thank goodness that didn't happen. I can see someone who likes hot spicy fragrances loving this. Honestly, that person isn't me. Too bad, because there really is so much to love about this fragrance.

Sigh! This is one of those times I curse my favorite aunt. She was known for wearing heavy perfumes, and this reminds me of being smothered in one of her bear hugs, trying to escape the fumes. To me this is a polarizing, somewhat cloying cold weather perfume. An amber/musk central accord leavened with orange blossom. For some, this would be extremely sensual and layered. Unfortunately, the treatment of this particular musk, and the thick sweetness, is too overpowering for me. Even with my new appreciation of animalics. The choice of notes is personal, a tribute to Acra's own scent memories, and a wonderful foundation for her first perfume. Personal impressions from her own favorite smells; the notes enhanced like jewel embellishment on her gowns. Wedding dress designer Acra, says she collected amber in the forests of Lebanon as a child, and drinks orange blossom petals steeped in hot water to relax. The combination has an opulent feel, with the notes all being spangled and robust. Even the musk, which didn't agree with my nose, adds a shimmering depth to the mix. Bergamot is the liner, giving each an edge. This is an exotic, nighttime scent that everyone who smelled it on me, loved. Many around me remarked on a powdery quality, probably from the florals and amber. Sillage and longevity both powerful on my skin. My taste might have been tainted by my aunt's overuse of Arden/Miglin scents, but I can see through the stigma that this is a beauty for most.

I felt compelled to do a review on this one. I bought this one because everyone was saying how much it smelled like orange blossoms. I thought it would smell like those vintage "Florida" orange oils that I used to adore. I did not get any "orange" smell... I tested this one 2 times and both times it came out swinging. It really packs a punch in the opening. Very big vanilla and amber. I wouldn't even say "floral" but more amber. It seems like it would last a week but it very quickly settles down and sneaks out the back door just as quickly as it arrived. It's a big mystery scent to me. I am still analyzing this one. I think I may love this but I need more time to get acquainted. Some scents seem to grow on you. This is one perfume that I must not dismiss just yet. I may end up hating it or loving it! That's how complex it is, at least for me. I will continue with my review as soon as I get a better handle on it. It wouldn't be fair to tell you something that isn't so. Give this one a good spin around the block. To be continued...

This stuff is at a bargain basement price at Marshalls so I had zero expectations. First spray and I swear it reminded me of Tom Ford Noir Femme (they both have amber, jasmine, bergamot, orange blossom and ginger) I was genuinely impressed. This is a rich complex musky amber that is high quality and very wearable. Like a lot of Tom Ford's stuff this can be unisex. One major draw back is the dry down. On me it turned into Gold Dial Soap. I hate to say the dry down has an antibacterial soap element, but it reminds me a little of it. Still, it retained it's amber note and was clean smelling and rather nice. Maybe the two lasting notes are the orange blossom and amber notes, giving this a soapy feel. End of the day this stuff is worth getting. I researched and found it was sold at Saks during it's launch. Obviously it didn't last, but now is the time to take advantage of it while it's available at discounters. Thumbs up.

Thank you momma diamonds for my beautiful sample. MWAH! This really is very beautiful. A very orangey orange blossom opens this perfume. The jasmine is behaving and letting the orange blossom shine! It's actually quite stunning. It's fresh and clean, uplifting and pretty all at the same time. Fresh orchard like fruits are there too. It feels a bit spring like but with a slightly more powerful edge due to the jasmine. It doesn't stay this way for too long though, the orange blossom itself stays, but the feel of the fragrance changes somewhat. The patchouli comes along to rough it up a bit. Now it's like patchouli in springtime. Turning a bit darker from the bright perfume it was before. The orange blossom stays alll the way through to dry which is great, jasmine hasn't become skanky or taken over. The dry down feels like a tamed patchouli, with orange blossom and a smoothness from musk. I like!! :)

I bought this because I love Reem Acra's design aesthetic. Her dresses are amazing and feminine. I'm not a huge fan of orange blossom, but I decided to blind buy this because it was comically inexpensive ($7 for 50ML). What I love about blind buys is they can push me a bit outside of my comfort zone. This fragrance is more of a white floral than I normally wear, but I like it. Reem Acra is primarily a white floral which is softened by the clean, pear note. I'm surprised to see the pear rated so low on the notes chart. Pear isn't dominating but it's prominent. The orange blossom, jasmine, and peony are very realistic. It's a clean and creamy floral with no detectable indole. This does wear close to the skin which is my preference. If you're looking for a beast mode fragrance, this isn't for you. It does linger beautifully on clothing.

Luxurious soft enveloping warming slightly spicy scent. It's mostly skin scent, doesn't project much, people around you wouldn't know that you're wearing perfume at all. I would only use it when I want to create warm cozy mood for myself. For me it is evocative of some other rich and warm, soft, quiet skin scents, such as Donna Karan Liquid Cashmere Black. Even though it's in a shiny golden bottle this fragrance has a dark and mysterious mood. It does this rapidly disappearing act which is so disappointing, but at $8.00 for 50 ml in TJMaxx who's gonna complain? UPD: I'm not sure if I like the dry-down all that much and scent trace it leaves on clothes. Too sweet innocent-fluffy white floral with thin honey undertone - This is one type of sweet scent I don't like. I guess you do get what you pay for, after all)))

I REALLY Wanted to love this. The opening is too much like Madonna's Truth or Dare for me to have both of them and since Madonna's fragrance is 60 bucks cheaper, the juice is stronger and I love the drydown more I'll keep that one. This starts out smelling of Orange Blossom and dries down to smell faintly of A bit of Amber mixed with a bit of Jasmine. It starts growing faint after 15 minutes on the skin. I think if the Amber would've been beefed up along with the peach andd patchouli this would've been a really good fragrance. Thrown in some Vanilla and it would've been perfect. The bottle was really nice until the gold paint started to peel as soon as I took it out of the box. Back to Bloomies it goes :/

last time I've been to the mall shopping the saler assistant insisted on testing this but I refused knowing I tested it before & didn't like it cause my taste in fragrances as I got allergies & asthma attacks all the time has changed forever, I like radiant & sparkling refreshing scents over orintal & amber infused ones now. I don't know why do I smell something like vicks in Reem Acra, I didn't even waited to the drydown so I can judge this fragrance right. I think it will be the last time testing it but if Reem desided to launch another scent, I may put it on my test list for sure but not this one anymore.
