Kashmeran

EN Kashmeran by Regalien immediately struck me as a perfume that embodies what is usually described as a rich fragrance, while remaining surprisingly soft and noble. My interest in it was not accidental: I already had three other fragrances from Regalien in my collection, so approaching Kashmeran felt like a natural continuation of my journey with the house. In the opening, raspberry and red berries deliver a juicy, vivid, velvety impulse, yet the scent never becomes frivolous or overly sweet. Then rose, violet, iris, and labdanum gradually shape a more sensual and refined heart, illuminated by a beautiful floral-powdery glow that makes the fragrance feel elegant rather than heavy. What ultimately wins me over is the base, because it is precisely there that the composition becomes truly full-bodied without losing its harmony. Oud, benzoin, cotton candy, patchouli, musk, and amber create a warm amber-musky trail that feels enveloping, slightly decadent, and highly memorable. On skin, it has presence, softness, and a kind of luxurious theatricality. For me, Kashmeran is one of those perfumes that manages to combine seduction, individuality, and true nobility all at once. ________ IT Kashmeran di Regalien mi ha colpito subito come un profumo che incarna perfettamente ciò che di solito si definisce una fragranza ricca, pur restando sorprendentemente morbida e nobile. Il mio interesse per questo profumo non è stato casuale: nella mia collezione c’erano già altri tre profumi di Regalien, quindi avvicinarmi a Kashmeran è stato per me una naturale continuazione del mio percorso con questa maison. In apertura si percepiscono lampone e frutti rossi, che trasmettono un impulso succoso, vivido e vellutato, ma senza che il profumo diventi leggero o stucchevole. Poi rosa, violetta, iris e labdano formano gradualmente un cuore più sensuale e raffinato, illuminato da una bellissima sfumatura floreale e cipriata che rende la fragranza elegante, mai pesante. A conquistare definitivamente è il fondo, perché è proprio lì che la composizione acquista un vero spessore senza perdere la sua armonia. Oud, benzoino, zucchero filato, patchouli, muschio e ambra costruiscono una scia calda, ambrata e muschiata, avvolgente, leggermente decadente e molto memorabile. Sulla pelle ha presenza, morbidezza e una sorta di teatralità lussuosa. Per me Kashmeran è uno di quei profumi che riescono a unire seduzione, personalità e autentica nobiltà nello stesso respiro.

To my nose, this is simlar but more strong/harsher version of MFK's Oud Satin Mood. Less sweeter. It might sound strange, but it smells a bit like mosquito repellant I grew up with in a very nice way.

This is a very feminine, delicate scent, yet it still has a beautiful trail. I can understand the comparisons to Oud Satin Mood, but this is much softer and more wearable. I dont know why nobody mention but vibes give me Woman in gold by Kilian both of which actually reminds me a little of Dalin in Turkey. Don’t be fooled by the fruit and cotton candy notes this is not a gourmand fragrance. It beautifully blends florals, amber, oud and musk in a very soft, smooth way. Is it unique? Yes. Did it excite me as much as the note list did? Not really. Could it be a signature scent? Absolutely.
