Falls

This is a lovely green scent. Although it's not in the notes, the first thing that came to mind was eucalyptus, then followed by the notes of ferns and wet earthy with some warmth and sweetness in the dry down. I'll agree with some of the other reviewers that this has impressive longevity. It becomes a skin scent after 2-3 hours, but a long-lasting skin scent.

I tried the Regime des Fleurs sampler pack and Falls is the stand-out to me - so much I'll be buying a full bottle...this is what an aquatic fragrance should be...salty aquatic notes with a twist of fern and earth...this is excellent stuff...

An Earthy, Green aquatic reminiscent of morning fog in a heavily forested area. I wouldn't call it rain so much as mist. This makes me want to try many more fragrances from this perfumery. Highly recommended.

I can see why they’d name this fragrance Falls. It is reminiscent of a waterfall or a fresh rain deep in the woods. Very casual and outdoorsy. It’s an aquatic scent, but not in your typical neroli-heavy, yachting on the lake sort of way. This smells like you went hiking in the forest on a damp day. It’s like L’Imperatrice 3 for the backpacking nature lover. A previous reviewer mentioned fog. That fits with this as well. Just imagine something misty - a waterfall, a light rain, dense fog - in a green setting. That is pretty much what you’ll get with this. I feel like a camp guide when I’m wearing this. The dry down also starts to get a tad zesty and earthy. I wore this to bed and by the next morning, it had developed a faint, but pleasant, sweetness. The profile is just the slightest bit masculine, but I could easily see women wearing it. I like that it doesn’t smell too synthetic. It’s fresh without smelling like a soap or detergent. It seems like it would layer really well with a floral fragrance if someone wants to femme it up, or something with cedar or vetiver if you want a deeper woodsy tone. I think this would make an excellent Spring/Summer scent. It’s not really my personal style, but it does smell good. I’d be interested to smell this on a man to see if it takes on a different profile. Overall, not bad.

Very interesting, and I really like it. It's aquatic, herbaceous, and earthy. Definitely evokes a tropical waterfall in my mind. My husband likes it too, it's absolutely unisex. It's neither masculine nor feminine, just a pleasant and refreshing nature scent. Projection is good at first, my husband smelled it all the way across the room when I sprayed it. But it dries down to arm's length pretty fast and ends up a skin scent after an hour or so. Longevity as a skin scent is pretty good, the earthy clay note lingers for hours, along with faint remnants of the green notes.
