Glass Blooms

Giddy. Sweet. Hyperfemme. Regime des Fleurs seems to excel at these floral gummy scents, and I think Glass Blooms is the crown jewel of such. A princess perfume if I’ve ever smelled one. It’s the candied Victoria’s Secret body spray of your youth, but matured and moneyed, now anointing the likes of prima ballerinas. Glass Blooms is the sort of scent I’d ordinarily hate: a syrupy falsetto with angel wings. And we did start off on the wrong foot, as it opens with this synthetic bubble bath cloud. However, after a few minutes it loosens into something muskier, sipping fizzy Riesling instead of pure Ramune. Don’t hate her just because she’s pretty. I wish I could be more of a Glass Blooms girl (air sign, Baby Spice, dressage), but I think I'm far more Nitesurf Neroli (fire sign, Sporty Spice, Western). Mental Snapshot: Lavender gummy jewel. Girls' girl. Pearl tiaras, canopy beds, lock-and-key diaries. Such a horse girl she’s pure unicorn. She 100% wore faerie wings to school. Olympic medalist figure skater. She spritzes this and sparks a Sailor Moon transformation sequence. Tl;dr: seraphim’s shampoo 🫧🥂 Update: I couldn't stop wafting my empty tester vial so I sprung for the bottle. Still in love. The white grape + peony is *muah*

musky, soapy, sheer. It smells like the moment you pop a big soap bubble that's been floating lazily through the air and it shimmers for a brief instant in a thousand tiny droplets before disappearing forever. soft haze of greyish-pink muskiness that floats above my wrists and elbows, florals discernible only if I press my nose to my wrist (I find myself doing this often; it's faint, but I want to smell it all the time). Feels like bathing naked in a misty mountain waterfall growing all round with peonies and water lilies, and afterwards lying on cool stone and half-dreaming, half-cloud watching: soft, cotton candy clouds rolling gently with the breeze. Just a sheer sweetness from the grape; not strong or artificial. I always peeled my grapes when I was little, saving the best for last: jewel-like orbs with a translucent, glassy, dewy surface, crystalline in their clarity. Beautiful, delicate. Glass Blooms completely won me over... annoyingly so, because I loved it enough to buy a bottle for myself. Is it objectively worth the price? Probably not... but there’s something undeniably addictive about it that makes logic feel irrelevant. RDF truly excels at florals, and this fragrance is a perfect example of that talent. While I adore Little Flower, Glass Blooms edges ahead for me thanks to its softer, more powdery character. It feels airy, delicate, and quietly captivating. Tragic twist: Little Flower apparently considers my nose its mortal enemy and sends me into full theatrical sneezing mode.

I love this one. I was married wearing Chanel no. 22. And, while very different, this is giving those same innocent bridal vibes. Soft, soapy clean and demure with prominent Lily of the valley.. White..if this perfume was a colour it would definitely be white. The performance is ok..not spectacular. But sometimes, you just don't care. This line is rather pricey but I will definitely be adding this to my rather large collection. This is lily of the valley done right. Not at all headache inducing as some Lily scents can be. I have Penhaligon's Lily of the Valley..this blend is MUCH nicer.

This fragrance surely is as delicate as it's name suggests. Sampling (2ml) this fragrance has taken place between showering and snuggling into crisp, clean sheets. A sweet, calming, and fleeting (*weirdly charming for this scent*) floral musk. It brings images of soft powder, and gentle bubbles in a candlelit bath. This has been more of a ritual experience for me. I am savoring my sample. I am not sure if I will eventually justify a full bottle, seeing as it is such a gentle fragrance that I would use before bed. If money were no object, she would proudly sit on my nightstand.

this is such a gorgeous soapy fragrance! the initial spray is very, very clean. i get a lot of peony and lily of the valley, no grape unfortunately... (maybe that's where the crisp feeling comes from?) this slowly develops into a more musky, almost powdery fragrance. i think the incense note works incredibly in this fragrance, it's very similar to the incense used in hindu temples, so this very feels nostalgic to me. that combined with the rose note reminds me of a beloved auntie or neighbor. i'm not sure i'd go FB on this one quite yet, but i do love how unique this one is!

My best point of comparison: leatherless and soapier Peony and Suede by Jo Malone. It’s absolutely gorgeous, RDF has florals on lockdown, and ylang ylang and ambergris are terrific additions to this fragrance that make it stand apart. It brings a transformative and uplifting sweetness on drydown. I’m always leery of roses in profiles since they tend to drown out any other florals but RDF balances them masterfully with the peonies and lily of the valley. Stunning for S/S. FB worthy. My husband loves it on me.

My new signature scent!!! I’m going to be honest, at first sniff I thought it was beautiful but I eventually became addicted after multiple sampling sessions. To me, this is the most perfect sparkly clean fairy scent I’ve ever smelled. It’s a bubble bath with fresh peony petals floating on top with soap bubbles popping on the surface. It’s elegant, feminine, and fresh. It’s freezing outside yet I’ve been drawn to this fragrance more than anything else. Love love love!

I liked this so much that I bought a full bottle. It smells vastly different depending on the temperature, but I've worn it in different seasons now and it transforms beautifully. In cool weather it smells primarily of musk and sandalwood, with floral accents coming through. In the summer, it turns into fruity musk. I had some rosé while wearing it the other night, and since then the grape note has stood out to me. I love it even more now.

I was pretty against soapy scents for a while and I decided this was “soapy” before I gave it a real chance. I rediscovered it and that soapy quality was much less than I remembered. It’s mostly an extremely realistic peony scent with a beautiful sparkling grape note. It’s glassy, elegant, a little vintage. Reminds me of dew drops delicately laced across petals. One of the most ethereal scents I’ve ever come across

Beautiful composition-- A couple of years ago I bought the sample pack first and this is the one I kept coming back to. I get clean gentle floral soft powdery notes that just work awesome with my chemistry. It's also very compatible with my other perfumes. Even the bottle is beautiful to look at-- -- Love, love, love-

Personally, I absolutely love it because I love this kind of scent; soapy, floral, soft musks and perfectly smooth in Spring/Summer...i love the fruity aspect of it too but on my skin, it’s a lot more floral than fruity... This isn’t for everyone and I highly recommend sampling it first....

My absolute favourite soapy floral for a warm day and best part is it works indoors and outside in the heat. About 5-6 sprays lasts 3-4 hours in my experience so it’s not a beast mode scent and I’m very ok with that. It definitely has a place in my collection and the name is so apt!

Delicate, sheer, peak romance. Brings to mind a beautiful translucent white grape jelly adorned with flower petals, and white swans gliding peacefully together across a lake. I have finally found an extra special fragrance to wear to my wedding in March! 🦢🦢

This is not a beast-mode perfume, very fairy-like, floral. On my skin, this perfume can last for 3-5 hours, even indoors or outdoors in warm weather. I sometimes enjoy the fragrance, feeling like walking in a garden in spring time with a lot of flowers.

A light floral sweet scent , wish it had some clove and spice in it n better longevity for the price. It doesnt last long though, i chose it from a perfume subscription.

Rain, flowers, sweet and powdery. A very clean scent, reminiscent of fabric softener and fresh sheets. Wonderfully comforting and calming. One I keep returning to.

There's something ceremonial in the way this scent begins. Walking into a freshly steam-cleaned floral conservatory, gloved and overdressed. The first few seconds were? A floral weight pressing down, musky, opulent clouds hushed. Rose and lily, lacquered in frost and mirrors and trapped in their own reflections. Hm. But oh, the middle unfurls. Oh. Oh! Suddenly I see the familiar face of a Kyoho grape oolong I've grown a habit of savouring, unmistakable stewed-fruit sparkle wrapped in tannic clarity. This memory of fruit, as told by tea leaves, is underpinned by a lily-of-the-valley note that makes itself known not as some Dior-style pastel sparkle, but tad fuller, slightly fleshier—like jasmine’s quiet cousin who prefers not to compete but still enters the room in silk. Peony flits through like chiffon at the edge of vision. Airy. Clean. A touch of detergent, but delicate. You forgive it. There’s a peculiar coolness to this bouquet—almost ozonic, like aldehydes dialed way down and filtered through sterile metal. I suspect some synthetics with names I always forget but never fail to recognize, clean musks that mimic scrubbed skin, filtered water, the scent of ozone before a storm but never during. An air-conditioned scent. And while the opening is a chore and the drydown leans a little too surgical bed sheet for me—there’s a chunk of time in the middle, a glowing window, where the scent is breathtaking. Oddly nostalgic. Full of restrained sweetness and translucent grace. Glass Blooms smells like the moment you exhale into a cup of floral tea just to watch the steam rise. Or walking into a clean bookstore that also sells niche soap. A little synthetic, yes, but it wants to be. I mean, it's GLASS blooms. It’s meant to shimmer, not bleed. And! As a first dive into Régime des Fleurs, I’m... intrigued. They clearly know what they’re doing. And I love a brand that dares to be pretty in a niche fragrance landscapes clawing toward the most edgy grits and grime. Picture sipping cold grape oolong in a florist’s freezer room, wearing pastel cotton and a composed, eased expression. Picture hyper-clean femininity with a dose of future tech. Verdict: That heart, is worth the ticket price alone.

I had been wanting this perfume for a long time, but couldn't bring myself to blind buy it. Samples of it are hard to find, too, since I think it's being discontinued. I recently pulled the trigger on this perfume when RDF was decluttering and was able to snag a full bottle for $100. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about this perfume; It's not love at first sniff, even though the notes are gorgeous and pretty safe. I've found that all perfumes from RDF are really well crafted, but sometimes it's hard for me to detect the subtleties. I think u/fwuity has the best description of the perfume. It's like a gauzy, soapy, floral bubble. I thought it would be a little bit sweeter and wanted a more clove-y, bubble-gum-y wisteria note. It's a very prim and crisp scent that is greener and stemmy than I anticipated it to be. My first instinct is to sell it, but I am also willing to sit on it for a while and see if my opinions change.

A hidden gem for bubble bath lovers 🫧 It's giving pampered princess, but she's too classy and coy to brag about it. Unlike most laundry detergent musks, Glass Blooms takes a detour from the expected heady aldehydes and, instead of smelling like sharp cleaning products, smells like a warm, fuzzy spa towel spritzed with rose water, smelling oh so dreamy and steamy. In the dry down the florals begin to take over on my skin, causing the cleanliness of the scent to become a touch more soapy and sweet. It still manages to stay away from smelling like a creamy powdery Dove bar and remains in the realm of slightly fruity, very luxe, bath and shower products. If you're looking for a scent to remind you of a particularly decadent spa trip, or to reminisce about the lovely bath you just had and aren't quite ready to let that feeling go, definitely give Glass Blooms a try!

A pretty, smooth, subtly grape-y pink floral musk that leans powdery and prim. Could be compared to bubblegum candy-like tuberose varieties. I appreciate the slightly more unique fruit note choice here. It's mostly mellow and sweet on my skin, but I always suspect peony and lily of the valley together can be a little sharp and soapy on the wrong day; I get a bit of that further into the dry-down, and I think something sour from the sandalwood/ylang, but it never fully turns on me. YMMV! I love the pink floral freshie genre, but I'm not particularly convinced by Glass Blooms... I'd sooner opt for Chloé EDP or OUAI's Melrose Place, both of which are equally nice and non-challenging peony-rose scents with fewer flaws for their value.

This has a lot of overlap with Noa by Cacharel. Very clean, powdery, and fresh florals. Elegant. It evokes imagery of waking up before your alarm, around five in the morning, and sitting outside in the summer. You're wearing a simple nightgown. The air is fresh and slightly warm as the sun rises. I have heard people say this smells like baby wipes, but I'm not picking it up—at least not in a negative way, that is. I really like this, but don't think I need a full bottle because I already own Noa!

This scent is a gorgeous soapy/clean floral that smells like a clean white robe and a freshly taken bubble bath on a crisp morning at a fancy hotel. It is gentile and feminine and somehow youthful and vintage at the same time. There is a class and a timeless elegance behind this scent that feels very put together. White linens that remain perfectly bright and crisp, clothes that never appear wrinkled, nails always manicured.

Sweet and crisp at first spray, exactly like sparkling white grape juice for the kids while the grown-ups drink champagne. As it dries down, the old-fashioned soapiness emerges, and while I love a vintage, powdery perfume, something about this reminds me a little strangely of my aunt and uncle's "fancy bathroom" when I was little. Thinking it might have been a lily of the valley hand soap? A lovely fragrance, nonetheless

I'm picky about floral fragrances but I enjoy this one. I got it in a sample set from Regime Des Fleurs. I've been trying to decide which I like best and it's not this one, but I do enjoy it. Mostly grape and a little powdery to me. Sweet dessert white wine. It is a feminine scent, in my opinion, although it says unisex. I don't really get the musk as much as the floral, sweet, grape.

Light, pretty scent. You could easily spray heavily without offending anyone. It'd be safe for the office, time with family and friends, or any occasion really. I wouldn't get a full bottle due to the price considering how quickly I'd go through it, but would definitely reconsider if I found a good deal.

I absolutely love this fragrance, it’s gorgeous. However, I used my entire sample today and couldn’t get more than a 2 hour wear, I would love a bottle but I can’t justify that price point for 2 hours. Off to find another.

Very light grapey floral. Roses and grapes. In that way, it reminds me of Dahlia & Vines by Nest, although this is much lighter and more subtle. There is a lot of peony in here as well.

Powdery, soapy, rose and peony scent with just a tinge of sparkling grape. Smells like soap rose petals I would sprinkle in my baths as a kid. Very pretty and clean.

For a rose scent, I like it a lot. Its far less 1980s bar soap than little flower. Reminds me of the roses that grow on the side of the highway near my home.

This scent reminded me of bathing in the springtime as a child. Then immediately running outside in grass fields. Fresh and beautiful.

layering this with RdF Little Flower, so so nice

As I like floral, clean scents, I thought that this would be a favorite. Sadly, as it's been sitting on my skin, the more and more I'm turned off by it. Initially, I immediately understood its name - Glass Blooms, the flowers (predominately rose and lily) smelled clear and almost bell-like. It reminded me of Japanese glass wind chimes, with the bell/glass dangling in the breeze and giving off a soft ring. It was quite strong-smelling, but by no means overly sweet or cloying. However, after a couple of hours, it started giving off an almost too-sharp scent on me, like if you got the pollen from a lily in your nose and had to sneeze. Lots of nose scrunching. Overall, if you like floral perfumes, this could be a option. I'd tag it as spring and summer, and either for day or night but leaning towards day. For me, it's a bit more aggressive than I anticipated.

I can understand why some might love this fragrance, but it’s just not for me. There’s a distinct soapy floral note that reminds me of baby wipes or bathroom products — I’m not sure, but I suspect it’s lily of the valley. I had the same reaction to Inflorescence by Byredo, which also features the lily of the valley note. I’m simply not a fan of clean fragrances when they lean into the soapy territory. That said, it’s not as off-putting to me as some clean musky perfumes with aldehydes, which I find harsh. If you’re into clean fragrances that lean soapy, then this might be something for you.

The opening smells like Aussie hairspray and Lysol crisp linen disinfectant. I almost washed this one off, but it becomes more pleasant with time, projecting a clean musky floral halo of scent. Much more enjoyable to me at a distance than up close. The musk is constantly present, along with the peony, which isn't a fresh and dewy peony-it's a bit dusty. The sweet grape is an interesting addition. All in all, I can see why some might like it, but it is not for me.

Initially, when I put it on I really felt as though it was not that special as it features rose and peony again (which I love, but even this house has many offerings with these notes) however after having it on for a bit there's something about addition of the grape that adds this unique bubbly quality to it. I think if you want a unique rose/peony scent where it's more in the background then this could be a good option.

Crunchy, juicy, fresh floral. Ultimately pleasant but on my skin the fruitiness dominates in a way I’m sure appeals to some but I don’t identify with personally. I wish I picked up more of the soapy, powdery notes mentioned in other reviews because to me this isn’t a classic bar of white soap but rather a slightly more complex fruity drugstore shampoo. Feels very 2010s teenage girl but in a less cloying, sugary way.
