so the notes listed here are inaccurate, or at least incomplete. not sure why fragrantica can’t get that right, i know for a fact there’s a fantasy feather note. this fragrance is floating, aquatic, ethereal, dreamy. it lasted for daysss on a test strip and i’m excited to wear it on my skin

I paid an exorbitant amount of money for a 1ml and now I can't have it. WHYYYYYYYY... Needless to say, DM me if you're looking to sell.

Sweet floral musk. Delicate and smoothly blended. Not groundbreaking but very pleasant to wear. Office safe.

A much more sophisticated and better executed Glossier You. If Glossier you is warm, then Swans leans on the cooler side. The musk is nose-tingling fuzzy and the iris extremely powdery, while the muget gives it some much-needed airyness in the opening. High quality materials and excellent blending. I definitely understand the vision - I can envision Swans delicately floating on sun-sparkling waters when I close my eyes and smell this. While I really do enjoy it, I don't think it justifies the price unfortunately. It's very light and a second-skin type scent. If they ever released this in their 75ML format, I'd absolutely consider it then. Rating: 7/10

Starchy, powdery musk. I don’t find it at all aquatic, fruity, or fresh. If it’s floral, then the flowers are made out of frosted glass and smell like nothing. I actually feel that Swans is a fairly stiff fragrance. Less of the white t-shirt described in the marketing, and more a white button-up tailored to perfection. I’m too much of a messy eater to wear the shirt as well as Swans, tho I revere and adore the individual who would find themselves in this stoic, translucent, and charmingly uptight perfume. Very similar to Musc K, but less sweet and less paper-y.

i can sorta see why one user says they can't smell anything, this isn't a loud fragrance. this is a whisper if i've ever smelled one. the opening is bright, tart, and fleeting before quickly settling into a subtle, aquatic floral. the dry down is so just barely there, it's fresh, slightly powdery, slightly musky. it feels like crisp linen boating on the cool summer water with an old friend. i'm not yet sure if i'd buy the full bottle quite yet, but this one is definitely a work of art. alia does it once again <3

I wanted to love this - I am so into skin scents and a sucker for swan imagery. The thing that has been throwing me off is the peach skin note. Conceptually, like why? I think a fresh note is totally valid in the opening, but why peach? Something else would work better imo with this beautifully blended perfume - hoping this is changed slightly before entering the permanent line-up (fingers crossed).

Smells like a soft baby’s head, nice enough, safe, light, and inoffensive to wear. That said, it doesn’t really move me. I don’t think it’s worth the price if I’m honest, especially because you’d have to overspray this one and it’s only a 30ml bottle that you can’t re-purchase in the future. It might move the needle for me if this were at least 50ml bottle given the limited-time availability.

Upon spray it smelled exactly like Glossier You, but that only lasts a couple seconds. A few minutes on a paper strip it still smells like pre-2022 You, then it turns into a nice floral in the family of You and Sonic Flower. It’s definitely its own thing and smells amazing on paper. After a couple minutes on my wrist it still reminds me of You but much more floral and a little peachy. Something about it reminds me a little bit of the smell of an old person or morning breath, I stuck it out but it was off putting. After a few hours I can’t smell it anymore. I don’t think it works well on my skin chemistry but I would be willing to try it on my clothes. I would not spend $220 on this, but if it sounds like something you like maybe get a sample.

I recently bought a sample due to the visuals and the vibe portrayed online. It opens up very musky (like Musc K or Glossier You) but then it somehow reminds me of Indian detergent/soapy smell that I recall from growing up in India. I’m happy to have the sample for nostaligia, but not full bottle worth given my very specific scent memory. Longevity also does not compare to other extrait formulations I’ve tried, though I know the scent profile matters too.
