Tóor Tóor

Great fragrance. There is a bite to the opening. A spicy citrus. Lovely white floral, again, with a bit of an edge. Not cloying or too sweet. Very appropriate for a man with a great pretty clean vetiver note along with lingering tuberose in dry down. Decent projection but not a beast. Still going mid afternoon. Appears I get better length than most with this. A tuberose + Vetiver. Unique. Will go on the FB list.

Maybe it's the addition of vetiver and leather, but this is such a warm, buttery tuberose. Never knew I needed a scent like this in my collection, but I ended up wearing it all summer. My only gripe is that it doesn't stick around - I usually get about four hours of wear before it's basically undetectable.

This is divine. The grapefruit in the opening is magnificent. So photorealistic. Then the most unique tuberose scent follows. This evokes trust fund baby vibes. Very rich girl. Gossip Girl popped up in my mind. This is on an IT GIRL’s vanity.

Wow. This is the cleanest, least indolic tuberose I have ever smelled, but it certainly doesn’t shy away from the flower either. Tuberose is pretty much the only note I get, but this perfume does it better than any other.

To my nose, it opens savory and cooling with an almost undetectable zest from the grapefruit. Then transitions into the buttery, soapy tuberose that others have mentioned. Initially the leather note meshes perfectly with the tuberose and vetiver but on my skin the dry down got very, very leathery. Not a bad leather though, with the florals and slight woodiness, it kind of brings to mind a chic psychologist's office. Im personally not much of a leather girl, so I can't imagine myself reaching for this all the time, but I've found that it layers with a musky fragrance like Another 13 really well, so if I do wear it, I'll go that route. If you're a fan of florals but hate sweet fragrances, or like leather but don't want to wear something super butch, I could see you loving this. Very unique and well blended but definitely not a blind buy. Edit: Another note, this fragrance wears quite a bit differently when sprayed on clothing as opposed to skin, the leather accents are toned down and it keeps a little bit of that juicy violet leaf note for longer. Im finding this more wearable for me than I first thought, but it still needs a bit of finesse.

Such an interesting perfume. It’s off-putting and intriguing in equal measure. I’ll say I don’t care for it, and then come back for another sniff. It’s a stark rendering of tuberose, no frills or whimsy whatsoever. Bitter grapefruit, earthy vetiver, and strange, buttery-pale petals. Captivating.

Beautiful transparent yet milky (translucent maybe) fresh tuberose with turmeric. Layers well with Joyeuse Tubereuse from Guerlain. Although, Toor Toor doesn't smell nice on me during warmer weather. Tuberose is very restrained and doesn't enter the "carnal" genre.

Can't get enough of that grapefruit at the top. They really ZESTED that rind; it outperforms most citrus accords by a mile.

An earthy, stoic floral. I feel there’s something astringent on first spritz that leans “cleaning solution,” before the vetiver and grapefruit learn to shake hands. Afterwards, it grows on you. Like a cocktail that makes you wince with every sip, but you keep ordering it throughout the night. I have a fraught history with tuberose after being throttled by Vilhelm’s Moon Carnival, but I don’t hate it here. Mental Snapshot: A creampuff Pomeranian (tuberose) in a spiked leather collar (vetiver, grapefruit). Looks soft but does Schutzhund. tl;dr: tuberose with teeth 🐩🥃

This one is quite chilling—absolutely bereft of warmth, like white flowers past their time, flaccid and lifeless. Even though I've never been in a mortician's office, I imagine this is what it would smell like, sterilized utensils, wafts of methanol and bitter formaldehyde, and some sickly sweetness of decay. When the vetiver eventually comes in, it somehow feels more discomposing, or might I say, decomposing, and vetiver is usually my friend. This is the strangest composition I've smelled from Ropion; a real head-scratcher.

I honestly didn't get the odd earthy tones that others seem to have experienced, but I found it pretty underwhelming. A very watery, inoffensive white floral. I think RdF developed those clean, green, fresh floral scents much better in Cacti and Jade Vines—both of those more interesting, impactful, and concentrated. Tóor Tóor is very sheer and overall...meh. I'll use up the sample but definitely wouldn't spend the money on a full bottle.

Astringent grapefruit and deceiving bubblegum-leaning tuberose that quickly gives into more mentholated, grey-green facets. Heavy with vetiver, it's earthy sweet but a bit sterile.

I tried guessing at the notes before looking and boy was I off. I get a kind of nutty woody thing going on and vetiver. Absolutely no tuberose. Unless tuberose can smell like a mushroom? It’s not bubblegum in any way. Kind of get a hint of violet. Grapefruit? freesia? Leather? Where? There is like nothing floral going on here. Wood wood wood and lots of tall grass. That being said its not a bad smell. The reviews here seem over the top to me which makes me wonder if Im missing some part of this fragrance. Gets a bit funkier as time presses onward. Husband walked in room and said I smell like rancid fungus. So maybe not a winner. As a concept piece though it interesting though.

My immediate association was of a buttery side dish of rice and cubed vegetables at a mid-tier restaurant. Agreeing with reviewers below who mention mushrooms, soil, a compost bin, the hint of something rancid, melting plastic, a mortician's office (lol), and an "unpleasant state of mind." Eager to wash this off... I'll give Tóor Tóor another shot back in cold weather, but I'm not enjoying this at all at the moment. I went through my RdF discovery set alphabetically, leaving this one last, and I can confidently say it's my least favorite of all sixteen I tried

Huh. Some times grapefruit and vetiver create an almost rancid effect when used together in a perfume. Given that plus the tuberose that is used here being a very raw green version, this perfume forms into kind of a weird chemical stew to my nose. All these things together make a smell of strong disinfectant used to cover up something that has gone off. Like how rotting banana peels smell of acetone. This is a definite no for me.

As a huge Dominique Ropion fan this perfume was a let down. It made me feel slightly nauseous and I found a rancid quality to this perfume. Perhaps this will work for others but it did not suit me.

I’m not a fan of this at all. I think I’m smelling the vetiver and it is sooo overpowering. It’s like a scent I have to quickly smell and take my nose away so I don’t gag.

Was really excited to try this from the notes and description. Unfortunately I’m getting nothing but ISO E Super. A bit of a let down.

This does for tuberose what AI image generators do for bowels of ramen. Not a fan, gives me an uncanny valley feel.

this fragrance makes me sad but not in a beautiful or romantic way just regular sad. it just feels cold. it briefly smells pleasantly like grapefruit but quickly fades to how i'd imagine a luxury toilet cleaner (does that exist?) would smell. something about it gives melting plastic and foaming solvent on porcelain and it makes me nauseous

Tonight I am sampling Tóor Tóor by Régime des Fleurs, and usually, it's a bit fraught with this brand; it's always an "oh, PLEASE, don't be good!" ordeal because they are usually too good and TOO expensive. But. I needn't have worried this time. My immediate and initial thoughts are that it's like a vampire with a bizarre sweet tooth stumbled into a Precious Moment gift shop and drained all the sugary charm out of a figurine, leaving behind this twee, creepy, bloodless husk at the bottom of the trash bin, slowly dissolving in a puddle of garbage juice. The predominant notes of this unfortunate incident are of anemic citrus and a wan, powdery floral, and the strange cloying rot, spoiled nectar, and sour candied sewage of something that might have been cute, once? Like the undead remains of a Sanrio character, maybe? I don’t know, but it’s not good! Seems like my wallet is safe from you this time, Régime des Fleurs.

to me this smells like tuberose at its absolute creamiest and most buttery. i smelled it in a store totally blind, not knowing the notes or concept at all, and assumed that there must be a milk or maybe even a salt note because of the creaminess i was getting. interesting to me that my nose is detecting something so vastly different than many of the comments here, but this smells like a high quality French butter whipped with tuberose and speckled with high quality sea salt, to me. i smelled it months ago and think of it often, and it will probably be my next full bottle purchase. a really beautiful choice for the fall.

This has been a good introductory white floral for me. I am someone who generally prefers woody/leather scents, a huge van of Vetiver - So the fact that this fragrance has a Vetiver backbone helps me with it. Tuberose is definitely still the prominent note, but as if the bouquet were laid on an ancient wood table in a thatched-roof home in the British countryside. So if you're a Vetiver fan and wanting to explore white florals like me, I would recommend it! On days you want to feel ~girl~. I even layer it with more straightforward Vetivers if I want to punch up that note. Ex: Vetiverissimo & Cowboy Grass.

extremely clean, pure tuberose, almost a bit soapy/shampoo-y, without a trace of sweetness. incredibly buttery, but not creamy (it’s soapy squeaky clean not creamy musky) which is sort of an odd contrast. then there is this spiky, nose burning undercurrent, which i’m assuming is the vetiver. i wouldn’t say i love it but it’s definitely unique.

This perfume is difficult to describe, but it’s quite odd. I’ve never smelled a tuberose fragrance like Toor Toor, and indeed it seems more Vetiver-forward to me. There’s nothing fresh or flowery here; it’s not sweet like a flower but it’s sweet like earth and soil. It doesn’t really smell...alive? It puts me in an unpleasant state of mind.

I smelled this sample blind, not knowing the notes (i never would have opted to try this had it not been provided). It ended up being in my top 3 from the discovery set. Toor Toor smells like really luxurious body lotion to me. Effortless and clean. Love it!

Buttery. Every sniff almost feels like it’s too much. But it just needs a few seconds longer than usual to process. Getting a little hint of numbing solution used at the dentist’s office.

I found the dry down to be NAUSEATING. I don't know what it is, I have never smelt this before. Maybe it is the "animalic" in it, but I absolutely couldn't stand it.

Tuberose? Where? I get mushrooms, fresh soil, and damp air and I absolutely love this strange thing on me. Body chemistry is real. If it works, it works.

As a tuberose obsessive, this one didn’t move me at all. I have a full bottle of it if anyone wants to buy or trade within the US!

The tuberose is so creamy and sweet, that it almost smells like perfumed butter. If you don’t like tuberose, is this not for you.

The vetiver is prominent and bone dry. It reminds me of cold air... definitely has an uncanny vibe.
