Waves

I do have to reapply Waves throughout a day I wear it, but pulling this one out is a "summer is really here" ritual for me. It's bright and herby with a bracing saltiness and does feel like the plants growing as you walk down to the beach. I bought it while living in NYC and loved giving myself a vacation feel on city days. While living in New Mexico, it was a treasured, sentimental scent because I was so far away from the ocean. Now I live (and vacation) in SC and Waves is a nice compliment to both the actual beach and the day to day mugginess down here. It's great for days but it's perfect for those summer, sun's still out evening plans too.

Smells like crushed mint and succulent leaves, like the kind from shrubs that grow along the beach. I can't remember the name but this smells just like it. Like most of the scents from the Personal Space collection, the scents are very transparent feeling. They become skin scents very quickly, and drift into notice when I'm not expecting it. They are short lived, lasting (if I'm being generous) up to three hours or so on my skin in hot and humid weather. But tbh, that's a good thing in the summer. I'd rather need to reapply than get smothered.

this is an amazing fresh green fragrance

I really love the scent. It's herbal, a little minty, green, fresh and cool. The problem is that it does not last more than 10 minutes. If it had any staying power, it would be one of my favorites from Regime Des Fleurs. Unfortunately, it's gone after a very brief enjoyment.

Super green scent, the equivalent of biting into kale stems and laying your head on a pile of cut grass. I don't really get the mint or cucumber. It seems all top note, and then not much later. I layer this with Liis Ethereal Wave for a little strength and depth.
