Wildly Fig

I have a new favourite fig. Crisp costal breeze pairs with crushed velvet fig leaves and suede fig skin. Temperate-toned and oh so revitalising. I don’t really get the cardamom, pistachio, or even the citrus. The notes read disarmingly simple to my nose: this is a fig orchard by the sea. It’s far more vegetal than fruity/fleshy, but there’s still that trademark figgy creaminessTM, almost bordering on coconut. There’s also something special about the texture of the scent that really captures the “dustiness” of fig (which google tells me is a natural sugar crystallisation process that happens in ripening fig). This little sparkle of sugar couples beautifully with the marine tones. Hits a good 6h on my skin and is totally office safe and unisex. I like Philosykos, but I LOVE Wildly Fig. (Well, everything except for the name). Got this as a teaser vial in my Black Friday order last year and had me pacing before the RdF website for months. I fear this will be my next wildly fiscally irresponsible full bottle. Mental Snapshot: That first lungful of ocean air after a long voyage. You’re clocking in to a spell of rest and relaxation at a secretive boutique resort, somewhere like Big Sur or the Azores or the foothills of Mount Olympus. They claim one night here turned Dionysus into the god of green juice and mindfulness meditation. tl;dr: divinely fig 🏛️🌿

Wildly Fig 💚 This fragrance surprised me! It opens so fresh and green, clean citrus with lemon and mandarin, but there's real depth hiding underneath, and that's where it gets interesting. The cardamom and pistachio give it this gorgeous creamy warmth, almost coconutty, while the fig adds this aqueous, fruit-flavored sweetness. Orange blossom ties it all together so beautifully, lush and a little luxurious. Vetiver keeps everything grounded. Totally unisex, and I love that. 🤍 Fair warning, though: go easy near the neck! This one is strong and bold, and the longevity is seriously impressive, 4+ hours and still going strong. If you love fig fragrances, here's some context, IMHO: Philosykos is softer and more delicate, Perfumery H Fig is greener and more natural. Fig Leaf DNA sits closer to Fig Infusion by Essential Parfums and Parisian Musc by Matiere Premiere. Con: Yeah, the price is a bit much. But, I snagged a decant from a FB group, and now I'm obsessed – just bought a full bottle! It's definitely a new favorite in my collection.

Pick up a fig leaf, crush it in your fingers, and then inhale. The cell walls have shattered and all the precious chlorophyll inside is yours for the taking. While other fragrances try to smother you with cream-filled pastries, this one actually makes the air around you feel cooler and more breathable. And it continues to do so for hours without taking any left turns as it dries down. I don't see it in the perfume pyramid, but the description mentions laurel, and I definitely get that in the best possible way. This fragrance is like an open window you can carry around on your wrist.

Clean, cool, breezy, leafy fig. Lightly sweet, in a botanical way instead of a sugary way. I swear I can smell smooth sandalwood, but it's not listed in the notes. Projection is excellent and it lasts forever. If you love the scent but you're stuck by the price, I highly recommend Summer Leaves by Siela. The scents are almost identical but the price point is way better.

This is the best effing green and comfort and fig and forest bath I’ve ever smelled. If this lasts for more than like an hour, I’m buying a gallon.

Probably one of the more interesting takes on fig I’ve found in my fragrance journey. Green and fresh are the major hits here for me, personally. I get the lemon/bergamot off the top, then the bulk of the wear is crushed fig leaves intertwined with the pistachio/vetiver base. Flanking this, I notice the orange blossom and mandarin. Something in here is giving a bit of a salt-like effect as well. Super fun fig, and I waited awhile before putting my thoughts down in review form. In my wait though, I’ve found myself reaching for this one pretty frequently. I’d liken this to a green soapy fig. The fig here makes this a bit unique, but overall something here is making me think “mass appeal”. I do like it for sure, but not certain I would go out of my way to spend the money again! Solid like!

Omg what a FUN FIG!! I've never smelt a fig like this before! Opens with a mouth-twisting tartness from highly potent citrus and fig and is followed by a very light green spicy profile thanks to the cardamom. The base is a very lush, velvety-smooth fig leaf that brings it all together. This is just so bright and zesty - it's like the feeling of biting into a lemon or dunking your head into cold water. It just feels ALIVE!! It almost reminds me of a more citrusy, spicy Do Son (EDT) from Diptyque. This puppy is STRONG as well - just a few sprays and I'm absolutely SURROUNDED by the scent of Wildly Fig. This is a perfect spring and summer fragrance. I have to say though that I think this would shine much better as a candle than a perfume. Rating: 7/10

this is a beautifullll green fig fragrance! i've smelled so many (see all the review i've posted lol) and this one is truly unique. most fig perfumes have a woody note, but this one doesn't! instead, it's grounded beautifully by the slight nuttiness of the pistachio and vetiver. the opening is bright and citrusy, but even as a non-citrus lover, it's very tolerable because it disappears rather quickly. this is truly just a gorgeous green fig through and through, but i wouldn't say it has any jammy/ripe qualities like some other fig perfumes. still beautiful and i will absolutely be reaching for this one throughout the summer!

up close i get bitter green leaves, but from further away i think the nuttiness from the pistachio comes out. not fruity or floral at all but i do smell some citrus in the scent bubble this creates. i feel like based on my description of this scent i shouldn’t like it but i don’t mind it! there’s something interesting and different about it from other fig leaf/tree scents, but not enough to be offputting like some others i’ve tried recently.

I love this fig fragrance! It's pure fig trees with figs dangling from it. It's green and clean. No distractions, particularly not coconut, which I can't stand in a fig perfume. I don't notice pistachio or cardamom or any spice, for that matter. I do detect possibly some tangy vetiver and bergamot. But this is really straight-up figs in the wild, it's about nothing else but fig. Fabulous!

Gorgeous green fig. The "clean girl" of fig scents. Gives freshly shampooed hair vibes, I really like it (as someone who doesn't gravitate to fig scents in general).

Creamy dreamy buttered fig with leaves and vines and some freshly cut grass for good measure. Woke up still wrapped in it! Long lasting luscious lovely

This is an okay scent to me. Something about it is reminding me of food or fresh herbs? It kind of reminds me of when I’m chopping cilantro. After it dries down a bit, it smells less savory to me and I can smell more of the fig which does smell lovely. This one is a strange one for me because of the opening. This is not my scent profile and I can't imagine reaching for this one!

Interesting but this isn't for me. I'm not a fig lover to begin with, to be fair, but the lemon isn't my taste either. Sharp in a green, herbal (slightly medicinal) way and a little salty. This one is pretty strong and lingers on clothes.

It starts off minty, but it quickly transitions to something milky with an undercurrent of bitterness.
