Amber Vanilla

This oil is amazing. There has to be more accords than just amber and vanilla bc I smell a little incense, maybe a woody note (it's so creamy it could be sandalwood, but bc there is nothing synthetic in this, it could be another woody note). Whatever is in it, it's gorgeous. A drop on the back of my hand and I still smell it 10 hours later. Sillage is good too, bc both my boys commented on it. Beautiful bottle, I see this lasting a long time. I'm going to try layering it, unending possibilities. Did not set off any of my allergies/sensitivities, but as usual if you suffer from these things ~ test, test, test ~ before you buy a full bottle.

I am a huge fan of both amber and vanilla, and this is an absolutely gorgeous blend of both! It's a perfect balance of warm and spicy, woody and sweet. Also very long-lasting, you only need a little! Worth the price (the pretty bottle is a nice bonus, too.)

incense but oriental spice and rich; musk, amber and incense with some oud in the base but the amber really steals the show; a bit boozy and very dry, not gourmand; lovely

Smooth, balmy incense, amber and vanilla -- in that order. For me incense is the strongest note, though it isn't listed in the pyramid. Maybe the amber is smoked? Overall, this fragrance is decadently warm and smoky, rich, mysterious and comforting at the same time. It's quite potent too.

An animalic amber and vanilla in the opening. Slightly powdery. Maybe labdanum is what they used to make this amber? Either way, it is beautiful when it dries down.

Pretentious perfume with a tacky vanilla scent. Vanilla does NOT smell good.

I got a sample from this on Lucky Scent thinking I would love it. I love Amber I love Vanilla I love incense, I know hate is a strong word but... that and old lady are the two words that come to mind here. I will try to dilute it & spray it on furniture like the other reviewer suggested (thanks for the tip)As for a second opinion my husband couldn't stand it either. I can buy an oil like this in a hippie shop or from the Muslims selling oils in the NYC. The bottle is pretty & all but in my opinion not worth $125.

High hopes since I loved the frankincense and myrrh fragrance by Regina Harris but this just smells cheap and overly sweet, the amber does not dry down well with the vanilla. Definitely not worth the price

I'm with pari88 and lyrical on this one... I love the spraying on fabric idea. This just does not do it for me for a body perfume. Fades pretty quick.

As wonderful as this smells its hard to believe that the only notes are amber and vanilla. As they say . . . less is more. This is more wonderful than I expected, considering the listed notes. This one, to me, is an intoxicating, gorgeous blend of amber/vanilla wonder. As I applied it there is an oily base to it that may be able to give it staying power, which I am hoping for. This one doesn't disappoint me. iI is linear, yes, but in a good way. No singular spices detected, but there is an undercurrent of light but fragrant woods. Yummy, even, in an oriental resinous gourmand way. It kind of leans toward a smoky resinous vibe, like burning bakhoor or frankincense in a censer or over charcoal. Its puzzling as to why resin is not listed as a note. Not to be eaten but enjoyed in all wearable occasions . . . naked or clothed. FBW. That topnote though! I need this in my life , but $125? Come on , Regina/Luckyscent.com!! ; )

have you ever tossed a stone into a smooth pool of water, and then sat back and watched the concentric circles fan out? That's how this scent wears. I admit i approached it with discrimination, as my take is if you need a cutesy bottle to front your product it's probably not good. So i dabbed this on, sat back, and was washed over by wave after warm wave of the most golden aroma. I'm a huge amber/vanilla fan; see my wardrobe stacked wtih Guerlains. This really works for me. The longevity is much better than I was expecting, as was the quality I"m confused why it is classed as an oriental spicy, I dont detect that. To my nose it is the smooth like a well polished rock. it's a gorgeous composition that creates a happy space that you'll never want to leave.

I've had this oil for forever and a half! It's guilty pleasure in a perfume oil form. One tiny drop halved between both wrists lasts sooo long on my skin like nothing else I've ever come across! I smell it for 48+ hours after I've taken a shower (or two). The only way I can describe it is it smells how an ancient civilization's temple to a sex goddess would've smelled. In Athens, maybe... For the longevity and performance (on me), the price in the category of a niche/ indie market is very affordable. To me it's the epitome of what a sexy and addictive fragrance should be. I also think it deserves more recognition and attention from frag influencers/reviewers.

I used my entire sample bottle in small doses to see if I wanted a bottle. The first minute or so was "Yes, I do!" But then came the smell of civet or civetone, which is very urinous on my skin. I waited an hour, then could not stand it another minute and scrubbed. It's still there but lighter. I tried it a few months later to see if it still showed up on my skin, and unfortunately, it does. It's the strongest note of them all on me.

Not a smooth amber, but slighty woody. This is smokey incense with an underlying vanilla note, but by no means is this a vanilla fragrance. Incense lovers should certainly sample this. I can't wear it as it goes sharply woody on my skin. I love the bottle. Too bad the juice doesn't do it for me.

Amber Vanilla Soo sultry. A rich warm resinous Amber with soft subtle vanilla. On my skin the amber dominates, I also get touches of dry spices, some smoldering, smoky incenses. It smells so good, my nose was glued to my wrist. The oil is long lasting on my skin and sillage is soft.

Soft vanilla and vibrant amber. Syrupy that feels old Hollywood, opulent and very mysterious. I can imagine Lisle Von Rhuman from “Death Becomes Her” applying it from that intricate little bottle this comes in. Sampled from Lucky Scent.

Very interesting perfume (it's an oil). Most oils have no sillage. This one has. Some days the vanilla dominates and on other days it is the amber. The amber smells of real amber, almost in an old fashioned way (but the good way)

Thick resinous amber and vanilla. Lots of incense and civet. It smells very vintage and mysterious. It also reminds me a little bit of Youth Dew, only sweeter and a little less stiff. It's a good scent but it smells very mature.

Sample- this is a controversial one! Opening full vanilla!! 10 mins in , no much vanilla left, woody/ incence smell. It is attractive but, I have to wear more times to decide if I really really like it :-)

This smells a lot like I would imagine a palm reader's shop smells. It smells old. It's a thick intense amber-y scent.
