L'Eau des Sacres

How are there zero reviews of this on Fragrantica?? This scent is BEAUTIFUL... It was on sale on LuckyScent, I watched the video and I made a blind purchase based upon description and instinct (and sale ;-). Neither failed as this is so, so, beautiful! Best blind purchase ever! There are different varieties of frankincense incense out there and this one has my favorite kind which is that clean, lemony frankincense - like the kind you smell during catholic masses. The kind of frankincense that makes you feel like the smoke you're breathing in is ironically refreshing. I also own Reve d'Ossian by Legrand that has the same kind of incense but more musty and dusty and then weighted down by other notes that come in. This one retains that fresh, lemony kind - kept afloat in the air, never damped down. It's non-cloying but is additionally (and here is the 2nd highlight to this perfume) carried sooooo smoothly and creamily by the GORGEOUS Tonka bean! OMG.....the Tonka bean in here.... There are no vanilla notes listed here but it kinda has that creamy, somewhat amber-like sweetness that briefly fell into bag of vanilla pods before being fished back out. I didn't pick up any orange blossom at first but now that I'm sniffing more intently, I think I can pick up just a subtle hint -honeyed for sure... and the lavender opening is more brief for me - like the church door slammed firmly behind you once you enter and it no longer matters what you were smelling before bc now you're in a completely different atmosphere (but now and then u pick up a hint that you were recently near lavender but it has blended in seamlessly into the new players of scent..). I want my whole home to smell like this.....
