Légende de Saba

Smells like a cheap dupe of POAL. Edit: 11/17/24 Used this sample as an air freshener this morning in the bathroom. Let's just say it didn't smell much better. This perfume is a sour ambroxan bomb. If you hate ambroxan overloads like I do stay away from this. Also, the cumin in here is overdone and is extremely sour, BO like. I have to give this a hate emoji. It really is a very cheap smelling POAL imitation and a poorly executed one. My recommendation for a better version of this type of scent profile is Miller Harris Rose en Noir which I own. I think you can still get it on the grey market for less than what this pile of crap is charging for this horrid bomb of a fragrance. Rose en Noir is unisex, and used cumin in a much less offensive way.

Balsam fir, myrrh, cumin and geranium? Ufff! Too many notes that don't work together even though they are blended by a master perfumer. Legende de Saba gives me the same vibes as Baccarat Rouge 540, it has the same acrid sweet-salty quality which I really dislike. It may be trendy to shock right now but it's far from what I personally consider to be an elegant and easy everyday choice. It's also quite diffusive, not office-safe. The synthetic dry-down lasts for ever. Masculine leaning.

"Légende de Saba" take us to olfactory travel starting with refreshing sparks of Geranium from Egypt and therapeutic balsam fir-representing evergreen oasis! Then, we in the warm deserts, floating in sacred oils and precious spices scents, translucent musky cumin and softly smelling clove. On our skin, we can feel the voluptuousness of Rose, precious Myrrh and sensuous patchouli that mingles with golden musky sunsets. Finally, end the dream voyage entering the city of old civilizations, where under blue sky full of sparkling stars and saltyambery air ✨️ full of exciting mystery, we can smell wonderfully done by Maurice Roucel Légende de Saba ✨️ Top notes are Geranium, Cumin and Clove; middle notes are Rose, Myrrh and Balsam Fir; base notes are Patchouli, Ambroxan and Musk. To me, it's a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ wonderful performance, long-lasting fragrance on my skin, and beautiful sillage that more than pleasant That's my experience with this perfume, I hope you enjoyed our virtual, olfactory traveling together to the kingdom of Queen of Sheba.

Geranium, patchouli, rose bomb. Balsamic, aromatic. Green and slightly bitter. The rose gets more intense in the drydown. The ambroxan note is present but not too intense. This reminds me of several other perfumes, like a mix of Atomic Rose with Portrait of a Lady and Montale Roses Musk. I guess a sample is more than enough...

On my skin lovely its ambery rose, spices are light and in background, also in opening geranium is not strong like live plant I have in garden. Attention garbing fragrance for sure.
