Grey Flower

My first review so here goes......I LOVE this scent! It opens with a sharp blast of what smells like bergamot and bitter herbs but this passes in around two minutes. It then settles in to a smooth sequoia, incense-y, warm, herbal aroma and this phase lasts for ages. The woods fade leaving warm incense and herbs...it reminds me a bit of the drink Campari at this point! Finally, into the dry down, which is still slightly herbal, but with incense and amber to the fore. It is so utterly unique and reminds me of no other fragrance. Best suited suited to colder days or nights but it may pass as an evening scent on warmer days..I'll have to wait to test that. It seems to have a middle eastern influence, without trying to emulate those fragrances. If you like that type of scent then give this one a go. I'd describe it as warm, urban and sophisticated! (if you can describe a fragrance as urban!?!).

I can't understand why Reiss would market this as a perfume for women. It's at the very least least unisex IMO. But anyway... This is magnificent, unique and warm masculine scent, perfect for colder days and with an impressive performance. @Ram123 described the notes perfectly. I tried this and Black Oudh at one of their outlets in London. Loved GF and immediately bought 2 bottles.

Almost sure that red berries is the literal translation for baies rouges which refers to pink pepper. Cause that is what I can definitely smell, not berries of any kind.

Pros - Attractive gold bottle, magnetic lid Cons - Overpriced for what it is, scent vanishes rapidly (unlike say, JPG le Male or Chrome) TBH, I prefer the scent used in household cleaning products like Fairy non-bio liquid or even Flash Clean & Shine!
